I'm not sure if I believe the "Wakaba Isshiki did unethical experiments" theory in the fandom, but I do think this is the biggest proof of it in-game:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because how the hell would she know that?
The first explanation is that she did experiments by sending people into palaces and then testing what happens to them if the palace collapses. Which is messed up for obvious reasons.
The second explanation is that she did NOT test it, meaning she was just making shit up. Which is funny but also would make her a terrible scientist. This explanation is less believable because everything else about her research is too accurate.
There's also a theory that Wakaba did unethical experiments on Akechi specifically. I'm not sure I believe that, since the evidence for it is pretty shallow (like the featherman game scientist experimenting on grey pigeon). But this scene is once again the biggest argument you could make for that theory. The researcher in the image above refers to palaces by their correct term 'palaces', which they say was based on Wakaba's research. But that's only something you would know with firsthand experience of the metaverse. And the only person they know who could access the metaverse was Akechi (that we know of, but i dont think Shido would rely only on Akechi if there were other options).
So yeah this scene is very sus. It's most likely the writers didn't think too deep about the implications. There's no way they wanted Futaba's mom to be sketchy, right? But even if it's not intentional, the scenes and their implications still exist. So in conclusion those theories make sense, I get it, and I don't blame anyone for headcanoning them and having fun. And tbh anyone involved with cognitive psience was portrayed as some degree of unethical (maruki for example), maybe this is just on-brand

So we know now that the way for ghosts to interact or get visible to the human world is through trauma. The janitor being able to see Mr. Martin was because Janet was in her scar reliving her trauma over and over again. So. What if Simon loosing Maddie and thinking she died was so incredibly traumatic to him and then being able to see her but not actually being able to physically meet her reinforced that trauma over and over again and that is what lead to him being able to see her permanently. We know Maddie saw both Mr. Martin and Janet right before Janet took her body because the conversation she had with her mom before was traumatic for her and as far as we know Janet wasn't in her scar. So the ghosts don't actually need the trauma of the scars, they just need trauma and emotion that is strong enough

Hi im here to tell you why this part of Workin Boys is absolutely fucking amazing
Showstopper, in definition, is an act with a prolonged applause and impressive reaction from the audience enough to interrupt a performance. I really love how they used Show Stopping Number for this scene and it’s the most fitting shit ever. Before being shot, Hidgens was doing the iconic Workin Boys title number, which was also done in Show Stopping Number. And then the moment itself is a showstopper, there's screaming, horror and desperation coming from the audience and even claps coming from (drunk) Linda, a standing ovation.
It's also exactly how it's shown in TGWDLM. When Henry finishes the Workin' Boys bit (before the infected came) he goes directly back to the actual song. “I can't wait to get home to my boys! / A show stopping number / a real show stopper”
And oh god I wish I could explain it deeper but I don't have the words for it. I would also like to mention im so not normal about this, i lov workin boys sm

wait guys what’s the lore between tung tung tung sahur and george ‼️
hi hello, i will do my best to explain
(disclaimer: i do not have a tiktok account, do not intend on making one anytime soon. i only use it on desktop and it shows me indonesian f1 content sometimes + the comments on f1 tiktoks will always start with ones made by indonesians)
to explain a little bit, tung tung tung sahur is basically an indonesian (or malaysian. i dont know for sure) meme that i think surfaced during the month of ramadan (not super clear on this bc again, do not have tiktok + am not muslim), where muslims would fast for the whole day. sahur is when they would break their fast and eat during dawn, and people would need to be woken up with a kentongan (a percussion instrument, aka what the tung tung tung sahur is based off).
anyway, george russell and tung tung tung sahur are associated with each other by indonesian fans, because they think it looks like him
pictures for comparison:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
which i will let you judge for yourself.
anyway, this has also resulted in several tiktoks and/or comments riffing on it, such as:
Tumblr media
(link) caption: who brought this 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(link) included the comments for this, mostly for context
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(link) and some of the comments from this specific f1 tiktok
there's more tbh, but for whatever reason they have vanished the one time i'm actively trying to look for them. anyway, thank you for reading this.
(bonus note: sometimes they also call him rusli. because it's an indonesian name that sounds kinda like russell lol)

Seriously though where the hell did the human i PMD Explorers come from.
In Rescue Team and Gates the human is summoned from a parallel world to help save this new one.
In Super the human is from the ancient past, where they were presumably also summoned, or maybe humans just still existed back then.
But like??? In Explorers, they just exist???? Just a human in the future in a world where humanity isn’t a thing? They were never summoned or anything, they just got the whole amnesia Pokémon treatment because of a freak accident.
Name your PMD Explorers Hero Cotten-Eyed Joe because where did they come from, where did they go?

How Media's Portrayal of the Paranormal Sends Us Hidden Messages
Hello Hello! i've been absent for enough time. i need this to be a official restart and Today I want to dive into something that's been on my mind lately – how movies, TV shows, video games, and other media featuring paranormal elements might actually be sending us deeper messages than we realize.
have you ever seen a movie and thought "okay this is a lil too real and a lil too deep, it something else about it?" or have a strange unknown feelings that there is more about it that we want to admit? that's what i want to talk about!
Discleimer: Please note that the viewpoints expressed in this blog post reflect personal interpretations and are not intended to influence your beliefs. Consider this as an exploration of ideas rather than a directive on what to believe, acknowledging the potential cognitive influences involved. In less professional words: This is just what I believe, and I wanted to share it with you. Believe whatever feels right to you, and don’t let anyone pressure you into believing something you don’t want to.
Tumblr media
Have you ever noticed how powerfully media influences what we believe is possible? The way supernatural phenomena are consistently portrayed across our screens creates a shared cultural understanding that shapes how we interpret our own unusual experiences.
Think about it – when someone experiences something they can't explain, they often reach for concepts they've seen in movies or TV: ghosts, energy fields, parallel dimensions. This effectively programs our perception filters! The more we consume these ideas through entertainment, the more they shift from "impossible" to "maybe possible" in our minds.
This connects directly to our manifestation work – our beliefs about what's possible significantly impact our ability to manifest our desires. Media might be subtly expanding (or limiting) those beliefs without us even realizing it.
There are some things I've noticed that stood out to me when I see content like this.
Reflecting Our Collective Fears
Ever notice how paranormal movies seem to change with the times? That's because they mirror our collective anxieties! Possession films exploded during periods when people felt their cultural identity was threatened. Apocalyptic supernatural scenarios gained popularity during times of environmental or political uncertainty. These aren't just random trends – they're symbolic expressions of what we collectively fear.
Teaching Moral Lessons Through Supernatural Consequences
So many paranormal stories follow the same pattern: someone breaks a rule or moral code, and supernatural consequences follow. Sound familiar? These aren't just scary stories – they're modern morality tales warning us about the dangers of specific behaviors or attitudes. The message might be: don't mess with forces you don't understand, respect boundaries, or honor the past.
Hiding Truths in Plain Sight
Sometimes creators use supernatural elements to discuss topics that would be too controversial or difficult to address directly. By wrapping real-world issues in paranormal packaging, they allow us to engage with uncomfortable truths from a safe distance. Some believers even suggest certain creators intentionally embed warnings about hidden realities this way.
Connecting Us to Ancient Wisdom
Many paranormal stories draw heavily from historical mystical traditions and ancient knowledge systems. Could these portrayals be serving as conduits for forgotten wisdom? Traditional understandings of reality repackaged for modern consumption? The next time you watch something supernatural, notice the ancient symbols and concepts being referenced!
Expanding Our Consciousness
Stories featuring altered states, psychic abilities, or different dimensions challenge us to question our perception of reality. These narratives might be gently encouraging us to consider possibilities beyond our everyday experience – perfectly aligning with our work on shifting and manifestation!
Summary
This post explores how media representations of the paranormal influence our beliefs and perceptions. It suggests that these portrayals shape our understanding of what is possible, reflect societal fears, teach moral lessons through supernatural consequences, and may even hide deeper truths or ancient wisdom within their narratives. Additionally, it proposes that such media can expand our consciousness by challenging our perceptions of reality.
Tumblr media
What do you think about this theory? Have you ever watched a paranormal movie or show that felt like it was hinting at something deeper? I'd love to hear your thoughts! And as always, I’m here to answer any questions!

A little compilation of a few Tri Force Heroes related things I’ve drawn over the past few days.
My friend @/mxcks.realm made an October prompt list for our friends and I, with each few days based around a certain trio, and the week for my lads just finished up, so here are the things I’ve drawn for them. Prompt list is at the very bottom of the post!!
While these aren’t quite as polished as my usual works, I took them as a nice little challenge to see how fast I can draw.
Cool little thumbnail I made for Instagram that I just like so take it here too.
Tumblr media
Day 10: Flashback
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ALSO TW BLOOD AND ANGST FOR THE 9TH IMAGE. I can’t put another slide because of Tumblr’s mobile image limit (curses!!). The angst and blood is blurred, but it is there.
Tumblr media
Day 11: Ice (can’t have my lads without some good ol Navy x Styla content 👀)
Tumblr media
Day 12: Serpent (a redraw of a 2021 doodle)
Tumblr media
Day 13: Hero (+ Day 8: Cat)
Tumblr media
Day 14: Bow
Tumblr media
Day 15: Ruins
Tumblr media
And here is the prompt list!

i wrote an entire post about my feelings about the saturated need to label queerness constantly and how everything needs a perfect box/label and to only STICK to that box and never leave otherwise youre a fake bad queer but tldr i love queer media that actually never labels the character and their feelings are never given proper verbiage because sometimes people just dont have that kind of vocabulary!!!

For as long as Furina can remember, anger has always lived in her.
Tumblr media
It was born alongside her, grew into her bones and muscles, gave color to her eyes.
When she looks in the mirror and sees that her face is the face of a deity, only two truths are clear in her head:
The first is simple as that — the prophecy. All of Fontaine's people will dissolve, leaving only the Hydro Archon to uselessly cry alone.
The second is anger. Cold, heavy rage.
Neither first nor the second belongs to her.
Just like the face.
Mirror-Her offers her a bowl full of vinegar. Not a single sip from it, nor ten, nor thousand will kill her immortal body, but that doesn't mean it won't hurt.
Furina, who still does not know what pain is, agrees. Even if she had known, she would have agreed anyway. But she knows only the comfortable emptiness of nothing and alien, thus distant anger.
When she performs in public for the first time, she learns what anxiety is. People whisper; Furina has to improvise. When an exclamation about her intention to judge even the gods of other lands comes out of her mouth with no second thought behind it, she is so horrified she almost claps her hand over her mouth. The wrath inside her chest curls into a tight ball and then spreads all the way through her veins, to the very tips of her fingers, with a feverish, triumphant warmth.
At first, she doesn't believe that this ugly anger is also Mirror-Her’s property, for Her voice is so gentle. But, feeling the inexplicable yet still axiomatic confidence in what was said, she suddenly realizes crystal clear that it is, indeed, Hers.
Theirs?
The thought scares her a hundred times more than a judgmental, faceless crowd ever could.
