I did not expect to be crying at the finale but Annabeths “I saw everything” cut through my heart

Since the last episode ended, has “family Luke, you promised” been reverberating in your head over and over again or are you normal?

Okay overall I wasn’t a fan of how they did the betrayal scene, HOWEVER I did like the fact that they had Annabeth overhear Luke’s speech about the gods to Percy and watch their fight because it is so important that she knows that Luke betrayed them so his death hits so much harder.

Luke: “But I don’t care where our parents may be as long as you are here with me”

Also Luke: *betrays everyone he knows, gets thousands of demigods killed*

Book 3 chapter 5 the moment all sympathy left my body. it comes back afterwards but oh my word. My poor Annabeth, she held on for so long hoping to belong and trusting Luke and he did but it cost him his life and many fragments of a shattered heart.

I can't decide which is worse the betrayal of Percy or Annabeth. In the books she didn't see it so it was less impactful, her big betrayal moment came later. This was heartbreaking.

how do they manage to do so many non canonical things (where are "60 seconds") AND AT THE SAME TIME KEEP THEM CANON

- when annabeth gave Luke THE LOOK in the eyes, all I heard in my head was "family, Luke you promised"

and! I first got so disappointed, that we don't get the petrified Gabe, but then we got him, thank Gods

conclusion: my fave character of the tv series - Sally Jackson.

The look on Anabeth’s face. The realization, the fear, the anger, most importantly the betrayal.

Leah really killed it showing every emotion and all of Anabeth’s feelings. The person she was closest to. The one who she listened to complain about the gods. The one who at his lowest point probably told her about his mom. The person who considers her his little sister. The person she probably thought she knew everything about.
