As life goes on, always be graceful. Kind and sweet . you never really know who really loves you as life goes on. Learning people is key. Learning situations as well because right now we are in a time of racism and now its segregation days as life goes on. Always be aware of your surroundings, watch how you speak to people as well. and how you approach certain things because you never know who your real friends are as time goes because now they are trafficking, targeting, and wanting to use our children to sell into families or arranged marriages like its a control thing and you have to watch carefully how you do things because as life goes on WATCH who you talk to on the internet my old Land Lord I rented room B from was very Nosey, cloned my phone using a Type c charger witha iphone end piece as well. Was always very nosey to get into my life's business and is even speaking with my daughtes family like he's preying on her and its sick because the truth behind a man like that they want money and they like to persue defamation charges as well. And enjoys making life harder for parents especailly me because he wants to use my life as a charity case for his feelings and how he grows and loks me in the face and says "it's Business'' my daughter's life is not his business whenI was the one who had her and gave birth to her paid my bills, my rent , mcleaned after everyone constantly played n my face and he even sent ishit like lies saying I had .,... and ... but makes no sense because people like that will always win becasue of a degree. He went to LSU and well he even told me "go sell your body and pay rent" that is how you get abdcuted, raped, killed and also that is against Louisiana State Law to do that because well thats "blaphemy " and also violation to my civil rights, parental rights, parental privacy, and also victims privacy and thats demented. I will never understand why life plays games like this because well. You can't trust everyone because then they will do shit like tht to stab you in your back and lie saying "that;s not my problem" yes it is because you had no authority to remove my child and tell me fuck my life while I get no visitation with hr. Life is getting scary. Court rooms need to start letting people bring phones in paly it front of jurors and be able to walk out without having to sit in jail waiting for a court date or waiting for a release becasue wehn your life is literally in the hands of other people and they do investigations hard. I don't care what anyone says. Money is the rue of all evil and culture is changing once again because shit seeing this shit in real life then violated my rights and privacy even when I did everything I could to pay rent and now I can't even go to college because of mf's wanting to keep me down as if I am not worth of more schooling or to be able to better myself. Looks like I will try to earn a business degree in the future or I will actually keep doing my typing shit because my daughter is not to go near him ..

Juno’s Season 3 Was Good, Actually
Or: Kevin and Harley’s writing is getting better with every season
I’ve seen a lot of people being unsatisfied with the finale, which is perfectly reasonable to me. What’s not is when people say the themes were a bit off this season and, as someone who Just Recently Caught Up, I can tell you definitively that the themes of this season have been anything but confusing. They’re simple and kind of genius that way.
To summarize, this season was about the Aurinko crime family learning to work together and getting the Curemother Prime.
That’s about all the TL;DR you’re getting from me. The long version is... that this season had about three themes: growth, faith, and family. Not specifically in that order, but I’ll try my best to illustrate these themes as coherently as possible through proud tears.
Major spoilers under the read-more :)
Growth
We began this season with Nureyev. Which was due to a lot of reasons, including the fact that Joshua Ilon wasn’t really available for extensive monologue recording. RL reasons aside, it matches up since we met our dear detective and understood him completely (season 1) and knew that he’d grown and set himself on the path to recovery (season 2).
Putting him in the backburner for a character who had grown to know him as well as Nureyev served as much of a narrative new perspective as it was an actual new perspective.
There’s a reason why all these episodes are still named after Juno Steel. These perspective shifts were both to introduce us to a cast we’ll end up getting to know well, and because they were highlighting themes of growth we’d seen on Juno in the previous season:
Nureyev realizes that his scorn and difficulty getting along with people is placed in his insecurity of his current emotional maturity.
Jet acknowledges the impacts of his past and accepts it going forward.
Vespa learns to open up to new people in her life, accepting that they aren’t always there to hurt or leave her.
Rita gradually accepts that there’s a reason these people trust in her and that wanting to help someone isn’t always in the best intentions.
Buddy wants to live and die on her own terms.
And when we come back to Juno, he’s a new person.
We’re Nureyev now, all over again. We see this new Juno Steel, who doesn’t get stuck in his head a lot, who doesn’t pick fights all the time, who tells his best friend I love you and means it, who isn’t scared to get introspective of moving on, and is vulnerable with people. He’s learned to let people take off the armor and see who’s wearing it instead of embodying the armor itself.
And that brings us to our second theme:
Family
Right, yeah, the queer sci-fi audio drama has a found family, surprise, surprise. But there’s more to it than just that. This season started with its own thesis statement: that this group of unlikely people do not have to like each other, but will have to. And staying with people you don’t have to like and still believing in them, still risking your life for them– that’s family.
Best example: none of them may trust Peter Ransom or his motives on this ship, but that doesn’t mean that when the going gets tough, we don’t trust him to get us out of this mess even if it means he has to fight tooth and nail for it.
Buddy and Jet believe this concept of family the most, Nureyev and Juno, the least.
There’s a reason why Buddy believed Jet to be the best chance this ship had for its next leader, and that’s because Jet accepts all of them, what they can and would do now despite of what they have done before. That was his big arc for Tools of Rust.
When the Getaway arrives, who else is it if not Jet who believes that they can get out of this, that Juno and Ransom would have to work together, not alone, in order to get them all out of this.
And they will. (Brilliant callback to Monster’s Reflection there, btw, I always did love that quote).
Nureyev doesn’t really believe in the concept of the Aurinkos as a family– he’s a lone wolf, of course he doesn’t. The way he scoffs family meeting in Man in Glass only reinforces that, though he starts believing the hype a bit as we go forward. He never addresses it again, of course, but that’s just on the King of Repression.
Juno, on the other hand, would love to believe in this idea of the Aurinkos as a family, except that in the moment he finally has to address it in himself that he does believe in it, that it isn’t just something he got used to saying in front of his old family, Sasha, he ends up having to choose between them and him.
And that’s where we get into our last theme for this season:
Faith
Before you call me a Catholic and move on, I mean this in the most generous of terms: this fits the season.
Faith is a step above trust, and it is a grand concept. It means trust, means belief, means that come whatever trial or tribulation, you know the person you have faith in will come through.
I’ve talked about this before, that people keep saying that the thing between Juno and Nureyev was always trust. Trust always evoked the idea of having to prove it in my brain, and it never added up until recently. Because, like Jet, the way Juno believed in Nureyev changed the way he saw him. Angel of Brahma (P2), the episode they bring back up in the finale, perfectly encapsulates this idea of believing in what Peter Nureyev could do.
And it’s such a masterful callback, because it really puts the entire season into perspective. That this unlikely group of people ended up putting their faith in each other and kept coming through for each other.
Shadows on the Ship was the perfect blind faith moment of this– when she stabs the bot pretending to be Juno because she believed, finally, that Juno would never call her crazy.
Mega-Ultrabots of Cyberjustice spins this on its head, the perfect twin episode, where she takes that faith, fumbles with it, but ultimately still proves to herself that she’s worthy of it, that there’s a reason she’s with this group of people.
I could mark all the moments it pops up in both HOIA and WLB but we’ll be here all day.
So, in conclusion...
When people say that the finale came out of nowhere I just sit here in my corner, clutching these ideas together like a bouquet wondering what stench straight up followed these people out of this season.
This season could not have been more clear about what it was about: growth, the idea of family, and having faith in each other. This was a reading me and my friends grew to accept and interpret, because it all made perfect sense and it was pretty clear cut.
Sure, you can read in the idea that this season is about accountability and Nureyev, but... that would muddy the waters, if you catch my drift.
Anyway, if you got to reading this far, thank you, and if you relisten to the season, keep these themes in mind!

You be suprised how far love can go . Its even free on a keyobaord. I was raped. Used as an object, but is will never ever be a woman's or man's fault that they were preyed on and used as an abject. Today in these days were are in trials in tribulations and we are all learning how to let go , Let God. I'mstill having an on to on battle with God everyday as life goes on. I been through the ringer. I see why people don't get married anymore becasue people change on you when you fall on your ass. Family will never be replaced. I love my blood. Christine Seymour is locked up for life I was last told and I have no clue if that is true or now but she needs to get out becasue she has three babies she needs to finish be there for as they get older. As life goes on I will hunt for my family members and make sure they are safe because I made a promise to my grand mother Jackie Lynn Lachney to always be there for them kids last time I saw her January of 2017 last message I got from her was February 16, 2016 and my Aunt Christine took a charge for hurting someone because they were verbally abusing my grandmother.
Christine kept the bills paid when my granny and paw paw Michael Lachney were going through trials and tribulations in their marriage, my granny took care of him after his surgery and well he left for a year to go find peace. Me and my paw paw never made peace because he assumed I was on drugs when I wasn't I was mad at him because he left my granny and well she took that shit and she took him back.
Rebecca Greenhouse had to call my granny for me 3182404149 in 2016 of September to let her know I was pregnant with my daughter and well. Being honest it was crazy because well she was mad for a little while and when I last seen her in 2017 we layed down in the bed when I was pregnant with my daughter and I told her " I know your tired and that your worried about the grandkids , but I will always keep my eyes over my blood because 18 or not family is for life. I don't care who is divorced, I don't care who is racist. or even sexually biased. Accept others for who they are. I am proud that i found all my siblings my father placed , my aunt Christine may be locked up in Avoyelles parish . She was always the soldier out of Glenn Ray Seymour, herself, and Rebecca Greenhouse. Please spread awarness. Maybe look for her name on the website as well and also maybe donate something to comminsary because truthfully she stayed in her prayer.
Women does has it easy to a sense but our sexual and human rights are under attack right now day by day. Predatory ways and even schemeing men are out there now and they use an energy that feels like "rape or be killed ".
I apologize to anyone that takes this as a trigger warning . Please spread awarness. Create a safe place for people to talk. Don't tell someone that "their life doesn't matter" when it does more than anyone thinks. Plesae help me figure this out I can only do it from a keyboard .
I'm a freelance life coach open to even lectures on how I can word my life better. Please help me to continue to spread awarness.
She had a bad drug history , but her pain was never validated growing up I was always center of attention when she was 14 growing up. By blood she is my aunt but by love she is my Sister no matter what.

The Language of Gun Violence
I’m done being sad about the countless deaths of children and teenagers in America. I’m done being frustrated with lawmakers blaming it on mental illness. Mental illness is an epidemic in our country because of the way we stigmatize it and make it impossible for people to come forward and say that they’re struggling. Associating mania and schizophrenia with homicide does nothing to control the problem. I’m done being sad and frustrated and feeling helpless. I’m mad.
There is a DIRECT link between a lack of gun laws and mass shootings. If you have ANY money or influence, put it towards this (and preventing climate change because if we don’t have a planet, none of it matters). I will too.
Here are some resources to look at as you arm yourself to talk about this with EVERYONE YOU KNOW:
Up to the minute tally of deaths by mass shootings in the US: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XV4mZi3gYDgwx5PrLwqqHTUlHkwkV-6uy_yeJh3X46o/edit#gid=0
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/07/mass-shootings-map/
This one is a bit outdated but a really good graphical representation: http://time.com/4368615/orlando-mass-shootings-chart/
And if you want to throw up at the hypocrisy, look no further than here: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/10/04/opinion/thoughts-prayers-nra-funding-senators.html
On the other hand, this article makes the case that it’s a lot harder to make the shift away from Republicans voting for gun rights: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/10/5/16430684/nra-congress-money-no
This is why it’s a competition, as ever, for narrative. Can we pit #gunrights against #familyrights or #kidsrights or something that no average American would be against?
I’ve been taken by George Lakoff’s writing about linguistics and politics. He consistently writes about reframing the conversation and protecting the truth. There is a positive message that everyone in this country believes in. Children should have a right to an education free from terror. Right now, that right is under attack. We need to protect it. And for that, I hate to say it - we need a new hashtag.

1, 6 and 14 for any oc you'd like to talk about!
(From this D&D OC ask meme and so long this was in my drafts oh my god I’m sorry)Thank you! \o/
I’mma do Vive (my human neutral-good Earth domain druid) annnd Kira (true neutral, half-human half-elf silver dragon-bloodline sorcerer), aaaaaaand Judy my space werewolf who I don’t actually RP but who I should talk about more.
1. How many dead parents do they have? Vive: Surprisingly none! A core point of her storyline in the games I play her in is that they’re both alive, actually. Estranged, because of conflicting morals (Earth domain “life has value and should be preserved” vs. Fire domain “Freedom is value and chaos is natural”), and also in one game there’s a dragon who’s kind of holding them hostage without their knowledge. #FamilyRight?
Kira:  ??? Possibly yes? Haven’t nailed down that. ... actually no, I’m going to go with ‘no’ for her too. Her parents kind of ditched her because she wanted to learn magic badly enough to fraternize with outsiders (not Outsiders, though, she stays tf away from those things).
Judy: Also zero! They’re lost but not dead. (Spoiler alert: both her parents and also her girlfriend are on the moon.)
6. What’s their theme song? This is a wonderful question and I super do not know; I don’t usually think of theme songs for characters unless they show up in my brain already formed. But I will try! /o\Vive: Spring, by Vivaldi, because I couldn’t think of anything with fitting words off the top of my head and she’s a druid; but also she’s generally a light-hearted person with some more somber spots. WOOO. (Did this one last!)
Kira: 1st Samuel 15:23 by The Mountain Goats; she’s a mage and is generally wary of outsiders, but not hostile to them, while still proud/boastful of how brave she is and her kind (i.e. wood elves)-- "More like me where I come from / so mark our shapes” etc.
Judy: Home For A Rest, by Spirit Of The West; it’s the first song I reference in her story when she wakes up hungover, because 1. I’m pretty sure I was listening to it irl when I was writing it, and 2. in-universe one of her roommates, who is less hungover than her, has a sense of humour mostly based in irony.
14. Most heroic thing they have ever done?
Vive: Hmmm. I mean, I think helping find and then defeat a ‘Terrifying Evolving Into People Rat Swarm’ is pretty up there.
Kira: Fire magiced the FUCK out of a literal hell-mouth and saved a bunch of royal personages as well as an entire city that was making terrifying clockwork machines out of fantasy-political prisoners, wooooo! \o/
Judy: Left her own established life to search for her parents and girlfriend who had gone missing, and found them safe.

Introduction to advocates for families affected by substance use
Tumblr media
By Jolene Cardenas
COLOR Communications Manager
1/5/18
“Infants, children and folks who are pregnant and parenting are especially vulnerable to punitive interventions that are supposedly designed to promote child welfare but all too often do more to inspire fear and shame, separate families and alienate them from care,” according to the Drug Policy Alliance. “Communities of color and low-income communities are disproportionately impacted.”
In Colorado, the Colorado Coalition to Protect Children and Family Rights was formed by advocates of humane policies for families affected by substance use. The coalition includes a range of advocacy groups, community organizations and interested individuals who are committed to protecting the health, safety and rights of children and families when substance use is a factor in their lives.
The Coalition’s goal is to “empower those families by advancing child welfare policies and practices that reflect compassion, science and public health rather than perpetuate stigma. By promoting family unity and appropriate access to supportive resources, we can prevent and reduce harms to families rather than creating more.”
The coalition was started by COLOR, Elephant Circle, the Drug Policy Alliance, the Cannability Foundation and other allies, after combating bad bills related to substance use in families at the capitol for many years. We started the coalition to formalize our work together on these issues and to distill our vision into a set of key principles for use in developing policies to protect the health, safety and rights of children and families. The coalition brings people who have been harmed by bad policies together with experts in science, social work, child welfare, drug policy and the care of pregnant people and new families. See below for our principles:
POLICIES THAT PROTECT THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND RIGHTS OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES MUST ACCOUNT FOR THESE PRINCIPLES
1.   Keeping families intact is the ideal way to support the best interests of children and ensure the appropriate protection of parental rights.
2.   Potential harms of state investigations and interventions into families must be taken into consideration. Those harms should be mitigated whenever possible and not cause more harm than drug use itself.
3.   Colorado child welfare assessments of risk and safety should be consistent county-to-county and family-to-family.
4.   Current child welfare practices make many families feel fearful, shamed and punished rather than supported and empowered.
5.   Punitive approaches have been shown to disproportionately impact and further stigmatize low income families and communities of color.
6.   Drug consumption or exposure alone is not child abuse or neglect.
7.   Drug abuse and addiction are public health issues requiring multi-faceted policy solutions to prevent and reduce harm to children, parents and families.
8.   Access to drug treatment for pregnant and postpartum parents and newborns who need it benefits entire families. Keeping families unified whenever possible enhances treatment outcomes for both parents and children.
9.   For parents struggling with substance abuse, recovery is possible and best facilitated with adequate time and supportive resources promoting family unity.
10.   To target our resources efficiently and genuinely benefit families, we should prioritize allocating funds to evidence-based drug treatment, mental health care and wraparound care coordination for parents who need them.
