It's election day! The Federal Election comes around every three years in Australia. Voting is compulsory and prevents extreme polarisation. Local born & bred Inner West boy and leader of the Australian Labor Party, Anthony "Albo" Albanese, is expected to be elected as Australia's next leader by the 17.3M folks across the country who have the vote and must use it in this one. He'd be the first Prime Minister ever to hail from this little part of Sydney. With the independent Australian Electoral Commission running the vote, the result is never disputed, ever. Go Albo. Go you good thing! Marrickville and Leichhardt.

Are you lying on the couch on election night yelling at ABCs ‘Australia Votes’ every time someone says something stupid or are you normal?

Happy kicking-the-Liberals-out-of-government day to all Australians!
Nice to see an uptick in progressive female members being elected to the lower house, particularly proud of my electorate, which has been a safe Liberal seat for decades, finally electing someone who cares about climate change and equality.
It's a breath of fresh air to see Australians push for progressive change.
Here's to bullying our new government!!! (I'm looking at you Albo, just because we voted Scomo out doesn't mean we like you 💖)

OK. Although I'm American. I do follow Australian politics since 2017. And at their most recent Federal Election this past Saturday. It was apparently stolen, just like our American one was stolen in November 2020. Steve Dickinson- QLD ( Queensland) of the One Nation Party has mounting evidence of a stolen election this past weekend. Labor has for the first time supposedly won for the first time in 9 years. That does smell suspicious. Because all the evidence was mounting towards a large win by the minor Conservative Party's making it possible for a coalition of Independent Conservative Freedom Party's to possibly potentially form a majority. Only that didn't happen. The only other projected outcome would have been the LNP (Liberal Nationals Party) holding on. They were the major Conservative Party in Australia. Anyway, they didn't win. Evidence is mounting towards the AEC ( Australian Electoral Commission) interfering in the election by illadvising the people on how to vote. A investigation and legal challenges and charges need to be levelied and brought forward. In summary, let Steve Dickinson the whistle-blower explain what's going on in Australia. Here you go;

November 2022: Early Voting
We got our early voting on for the federal, state & municipal general election today. There were 4 amendments to the state constitution that were up for a yes/no vote. We only voted “yes” for one of them & that was to remove the language from the state constitution that allowed for the enslavement of convicted criminals. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of trickery the state Republicans were up to with that one. Evil men always have an angle & I just couldn’t figure out what it was so, unfortunately, I’ll have to wait to see their real motivation. One amendment was a grab by state Republicans to enshrine Tennessee’s anti-union “right to work” law into the state constitution to make it harder to overturn in the event that hell froze over & middle & working class Tennesseans realized Republicans don’t have their best interest at heart & started voting for Democrats:

DO NOT LISTEN TO EXIT POLLS DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEWS
If they say your candidate is winning, they are trying to make you overconfident and suppress your vote.
If they say your candidate is losing, they are trying to make you discouraged and suppress your vote.
Don’t listen to the news. Don’t pay attention to pollsters. Turn it off all day.
Just get out there and vote. You are the one who will decide. This is in your hands.

Just to be clear: this is WAY more serious than the New York indictment and a huge story now that it is really happening.

Fewer Canadians than at almost any point since the party was elected with Justin Trudeau as leader are considering voting for the federal Liberals, according to the latest tracking by Nanos Research.
The polling firm has tracked "accessible voters," that is, how many Canadians would consider voting Liberal, each week since before the party was elected with Trudeau as leader in 2015.
While between 50 and 60 per cent of respondents said they would consider voting for the Liberals when surveyed in the months leading up to the 2015 federal election — when former prime minister Stephen Harper's Conservative party was still in power — only 36.2 per cent would consider casting their ballot for Trudeau's Liberals right now. [...]
In other words, Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives would capture 43 per cent of the vote if an election were held today, while the Liberals would get 23 per cent, the NDP 21 per cent, the Bloc six per cent and the Green Party about four per cent. [...]
