Felix has always been acutely aware of Jack’s gaze. He knows when his business partner is looking at their animatronics in concentration, when he’s looking at his wife like she’s the sun, and when he’s looking at Felix and pretending to see someone else.

He knows what Jack wants from the world.

He knows that all Jack has ever wanted was a family, and now he has it.

Except, Felix is selfish. This was excusable in college when the only consequence was a late assignment and a hangover, but now, with so many responsibilities on their plates, he knows that one misstep could shatter his best friend’s perfect picket-fence lifestyle.

One too-sad, too-drunk night ruins it all.

He wonders if Jack’s anger will be like an angel’s wrath,— tearing him apart and leaving nothing to be identified as Felix Kranken anymore—or if it would be softer. Jack had been furious with him, once.

Back in college, Felix had messed up so badly it had hurt Jack. His eyes had burned with the fury of God. His arms had shook and his hands had balled into fists.

Felix expected his friend to punch him in the face, but all Jack did was grab him and pull him close to his chest. He held him there for long, agonizing minutes.

Jack’s tears sunk into his skin and broke his heart like no injury ever could.

"Ooooh, thank you~" A self murmur as he inspects his own nails; wishing for a second that he could handle the comically long femme claws, or at least something long... His nails are short, and although they need washed from the minor bit of dirt and dead skin underneath...they're shiny and healthy.

okay so here's glenn's team. glenn grew up having a very close relationship with rodrigue and there was a lot of pressure from people around him to become a psychic type trainer like rodrigue but glenn wasn't really all that interested in psychic types. so instead he decides to cut his own path with normal types after encouragement from his fathers.

anyways with that in mind, glenn's first pokemon is skitty which he was extremely fond of when he was younger. after coming out though, he gets self conscious about people not taking him seriously as a boy because he has such a cutesy pokemon. i don't want to say he neglects his skitty as a result, but he becomes a little less proactive in her training after he comes out. after some encouragement from rodrigue (who went thru smth similar after he came out) glenn develops a little more confidence in his manhood and becomes a little better abt training with skitty who later evolves into delcatty.

his next pokemon is eevee who he receives as an egg from his father (not rodrigue, the other one) before he ever sets out on his journey. he hatches her from there and this is when he really decides to dedicate himself to normal types. they get very close and glenn is worried she's going to evolve so he gives her an everstone and now she is still a sweet little eevee and glenn adores her so much.

after setting out on his journey the first pokemon he catches is pidgey and it's his first dual type pokemon. he mostly catches pidgey to help counteract the whole fighting type weakness and pidgey is very helpful in helping him defeat the fighting type gym.

next he ends up traveling to alola with rodrigue. he mostly goes with rodrigue to meet alolan pokemon. while there he catches furfrou and some other pokemon for the faerghus four. he is very fond of this furfrou even if this guy hates his ass after being caught. glenn is bound and determined to become the bestest of friends with his furfrou and eventually furfrou does warm up to him. easily glenn's greatest achievement, in his opinion.

next he catches kangaskhan who he honestly catches because he thinks she's so awesome. after he chose to specialize in normal types he really wanted to add a kangaskhan to his team and he's so happy when he finally does :)

after kangaskhan he catches a shiny zangoose. he didn't even realize when he caught it that it was shiny because prior to this he had never seen a zangoose. it isn't until he visits home with it and his dad (not rodrigue) is like. "wow you caught a shiny" and glenn is just like "huh?" anyways he keeps zangoose on his team after that specifically for bragging rights when he meets up with felix again.

after he meets up with felix, felix wipes the floor with him and felix holds this over his head until the day of their deaths.
