We at Harry POCter are delighted to announce our first big event of the year: the Festival of Colours! 🎨 It’s time to celebrate the POC characters of Harry Potter. Whether you do this by writing a fic or by creating a piece of fanart is entirely up to you!

All forms of fic and fanart are welcome, including canon compliant and AU works! Featured characters can be canonically POC, head canons/interpretations (e.g. Black Hermione, Desi James, etc.), or AU POC (e.g. POC Weasleys)!

✨ Rules

1. Your submission should prominently feature at least one POC character (see above for more details)

2. All fic submissions must be a minimum of 1000 words

3. For written works: submissions to our AO3 collection would be preferable (if you don't use AO3, you can also do so on Tumblr, but please read the first FAQ question below first)

4. For visual works: submissions to our Tumblr would be preferable, but feel free to submit to the AO3 collection as well.

5. Please do not share your completed work anywhere before it is revealed

6. No explicit sexual content featuring minors (written or visual) and no non-con. For any other sensitive content, please use warnings and tag appropriately

7. For written works, chapter additions to existing works won't be accepted, but feel free to start a new multi-chapter

HAPPY HOLI EVERYONE

Celebrating Eternal Love, The coming of Spring, and the Triumph of Good over Evil.

It is Choti Holi today ( quite literally: small holi). We pray, We meet family and friends, We eat Gujiya and get money from elders ehehehe.

Tomorrow is Holi or Dhuleti. That's when everyone wears old clothes or white clothes to go out and play with colours. You haven't played Holi until you've been completely drenched in colours and water.

I'm not in india this year. I'm studying abroad, away from family and i get that a lot of Desi kids are in the same boat as me. So happy holi everyone. Take a break. Go out and celebrate with the community. buy a little colour and put it on your friends.
