*Fierce walked through the forest floor, huffing with frustration as he picked up yet another trap hidden in the leaves.*

Fierce: "Oi- Jet-! Found another one."

*Jet, who was doing searching of her own, turned around to her feral friend.*

Jet: "Huh? That's the third one this week. That can't be a coincidence."

*She narrowed her eyes, inspecting the metal contraption.*

"Looks in relatively good shape, too. This can't be from a year ago."

*She gently took the trap from Fierce's hands, holding it out infront of her face. Fierce crossed his arms.*

Fierce: "Look- Jet. Justice must be wrong about somethin'. By the looks of it im not gonna believe we're the only ones on this mountain. Makes sense that some people would flee, y'know."

*The Inkling gently nodded, before turning on her heel.*

Jet: "Yea, but whoever's been living here has been keeping their tracks hidden pretty well...since we haven't seen them yet."

*She paused.*

"Or- They could just be living on a part of the mountain that's pretty far away. But that can't be likely cause of the traps."

*She shook the trap gently in her hand, the metal clanking against itself. Fierce nodded carefully.*

Fierce: "Well, I'm sure th' people who are bunking with us don't mean much harm. Aye don't think they really have a reason to! Since apparently there's a bigger threat."

*Jet sighed.*

Jet: "Suppose you're right. I honestly don't know why I'm getting so worked up about it, hehe.."

Because I can't stop thinking about Parallel Canon

AKA: An extremely unorganized ramble because I've grown attached to this little masked creature

[Minor Side Order Spoilers]

Ok so we all know at least a part of Agent 4's soul was used to create Parallel Canon. Exactly how much was used is unknown, since Parallel Canon is still there once you clear Agent 4's palette. Hell, it's not even known if they were used to make all of Parallel Canon or just the one front and center.

Which I guess leads to the main reason I even started thinking more about this boss in the first place, and the question I'd like another person's input on. Is Parallel Canon really a mindless puppet, or just a more "orderly" version of Agent 4?

Obviously I'm more inclined to say it's the former. They all have blank faces with red eyes, after all. But those are just masks. That alone wouldn't have set off any bells for me but they also have strangely defined personalities in their opening sequence.

They're still very messed up and Not Really There, but are somehow able to do so in their own little special way. Hell, one of them even manages to look shy and unwilling until another pulls them down into the ink. [Small tangent but I think the rest of Parallel Canon could be Splatoon 2's promo kids. Please note that there is no basis other than I, personally, believe it would be so fuckin' cool.]

Anyway, this gives me at least some reason to believe Parallel Canon is more than just a husk of a person. It seems more like they're a new one altogether. Though them having semi-free will doesn't change much.

If they really are an 'Orderly' version of Agent 4, I imagine they'd have the exact same unshakable views as the original, this time manifesting as a fierce loyalty to Order [both the concept and the guy himself.] Potentially even being a willing guard of the tower.

Idk. Maybe I'll make another one of these or do some doodles abt it later so I can explain better. I just think flipping the allegiance of the 'Agent of Chaos' without warping the personality underneath could potentially be really interesting.

New Agent 3, or Neo, showed up one day to explore the mysterious Alterna and fight against the strange fuzzy octarians that had been showing up. After defeating Mr grizz with surprising efficiency for someone so young, she presumably went home. However, after the Splatoon hadn’t heard from her in over 3 weeks, Captain went out in search.

To the Captain, Neo uncannily reminded her of herself when she was young, quiet and strong in combat. It made her proud to see someone so similar rise to succeed her, so when she left without a word it didn’t feel right for the Captain. 

After scouring the Splatlands for leads, Captain ended up in Salmonid territory. A familiar experience for Captain, as when she was younger she would travel to Salmonid markets in search of illegal weapon parts she couldn’t get in Inkopolis. Salmonids are a proud race that centred their lives around combat, something she knew too well as many times she had had to prove herself through a duel to be able to trade with the vendors.

As she spoke to more and more fishfolk for leads, she heard tell of a young inkling girl that many Salmon would seek out for a 1v1 duel. A girl who grew up as much around Salmonid as with her own kind. A girl who fought with the ferocity of a Salmon and the precision of an inkling fighter.

After exhaustive searching she found her, atop the remains of a King Salmon, a Horroboros, who no doubt sought her out for a duel to the death.  No wonder she was so fierce and effective when fighting Mr. Grizz and clearing Alterna.

Good games, all. I mostly fought Family fans, I can tell there was popular support, but when I faced Friend fans they were fierce!

Our Lady of the Passion/Pash:

-Nepo baby soldier girl. Unimaginably hot. Total loser asshole.

-She’s part of a paramilitary organisation and the planet Earth has a crush on her.

-First of all, that is her actual name, it usually gets shortened to Pash. Considering how much internet humor the Locked Tomb books tend to have in them, she may ver well quite literally be 'Blue hair and pronouns'. Pash is the nephew of the super badass, somewhat murderous rebel leader which might have gotten her promoted a lot faster. As is seemingy family tradition she absolutly hates necromancers (Very understandable). She is very badass and, despite her disdain for swords, has two machetes strapped to her tighs.

-Our Lady of the Passion, usually referred to as Pash, is a member of Blood of Eden and serves as a bodyguard. Pash is compact and average-sized, her cheeks littered with shrapnel scars and her nose crooked. She keeps her hair buzzed on one side and long on the other, dyed a bright blue. Nona describes her face as "super-cool and fierce and handsome".

-She has blue hair, she has pronouns, and she’s willing to throw down over getting other people’s pronouns right. And she’s got two machetes. What more could you want????

-The soul of the Earth has a crush on her

-Early prerelease shit used "they/them" for her, they're a lesbian who uses they and she to me

-She uses she/her in the English localization, but when the Splatoon 3 idols were announced her pronouns were not used and she was referred to relatively gender neutrally in other languages, so many people believed she'd canonically use they/them and many still headcanon her as nonbinary. Also she rides a shark and gets silly.
