This doesn't usually happen, but I was kind of sad at the Cranberry Mall. It was more dead than I thought; it mentally brought me back to the Columbia Mall and Chambersburg Mall, two that have already closed. It made me think about how this place could close any day.

It turns out an article was posted online the very same day I visited the Cranberry Mall that discussed how the owners are trying to sell the mall, and there's talk of demolition. Apparently a lot of tenants have been evicted or forced out due to unreasonable lease terms.

When I was walking into Spencer's yesterday, I heard a girl say "Wubba lubba dub dub" to her friend as she left. I don't know what brought that on--I was hoping to see some season eight merchandise, but nope--but I guess Spencer's is holding on to its status as the Rick and Morty hub.

They didn't have any new merchandise this week, but I did find a new set of pajama pants at Spencer's last weekend.

One of the "nerdy" stores had a bin full of loose Funko Pops. At this point, I guess they're not exactly collectors' items.

Merchandise has been pretty thin recently. Fortunately, I found help from an unlikely source: Foot Locker. They had a shelf lined with PSD boxer shorts, including several Rick and Morty designs.

The last one actually comes from Zumiez, which is the mall's skate shop. Is Rick and Morty popular among skaters? I think it manages to straddle the line between "popular" and "counterculture"...kind of like a skate shop in the mall.

I was leaving an area a few weeks back when I passed a large smoke shop that I'd never seen before. I couldn't believe I'd missed it, but I didn't feel like turning around, so I vowed to return on another weekend.

A week or so later, I was glad I did because it definitely delivered! Morty's ready for the cold in his winter gear.

Since I was in the area, I decided to check out some other local stores. One shop was stocked with plenty of pipes. I love the blue bee design 🐝

Rick and Morty x Breaking Bad. I wonder if this artist has any idea how many times bootleggers have stolen their work. Rick looks cute with glasses, though.

A couple of weeks ago, I also checked out a new head shop in my area (yep, they're popping up like mushrooms.) I love the juice box designs. I didn't grab a picture, but they also had a Rick and Morty bag that holds a pound of weed. Apparently, that's for growers. Probably for other reasons, too.

Finally, I don't normally visit Foot Locker at the mall, but I decided to venture inside a whim. Turns out, they'd been hiding Rick and Morty boxers from me this entire time!

It's so funny to me how Rick and Morty boxers have the best designs, and they're often the most homoerotic. Gotta be well-dressed when you're watching Rick and Morty with the bros. True fans won't accept a subpar pair of boxers!
