About Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma

Marvelous has released a new set of trailers for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma introducing its romanceable bachelors and bachelorettes.

I drew Fubuki alongside Lenten Roses, sundial lupins and the black bat flower.

The lenten rose is a type of hellebore hybrid, similar to a Christmas rose, that is not a true rose at all. It gets its name since it blooms out of season, this one in particular in February or March, earlier than most other flowers usually would, which I thought fit Fubuki's powers. It also resembles the flower accessory she wears in her hair with the golden yellow points in the center. Traditionally this flower represents serenity, tranquility and peace, or a hopeful beacon of the spring to come in the dark of winter. But it has also been used to represent scandal or anxiety, which I thought was a nice tie in to Fubuki's chapter. It's a flower given to someone to make them feel good, and pink in flowers in a cheerful and sweet meaning colour. This flower is usually cultivated indoors due to its blooming time, set by a window to look out.

The second flower included is the wild or sundial lupin. Lupins stand for imagination, admiration & happiness, all things Fubuki shows to her fellow detectives. It however does come from the Latin word for wolf, and mistakenly people thought it sucked nutrients from the soil, when in truth it is an excellent source of nitrogen for it. Sundial lupins are knowing to point towards the sun as it moves through the day, as if keeping track of time, like the Clockford family. The blue colour has the added meaning of tranquility and renewal.

Lastly, I included the black bat flower. This unique black flower is named for its shape, & a rotting smell that has people associate it with the macabre. Its most common flower meanings are the unconventional and strength. It will bloom multiple times within its season, keeping it going even into late autumn appropriately. It is used for medicines at times. Spiritually, some associate it with strong awareness and intuition. Under the cut is a more spoiler hinty piece with an alternate outfit in another location in the game with flowers! This is for the backside of the new charm with her that's debuting at Anime North

So since Tatsumaki is my next Model I need to figure out how she would fit in a RWBY Crossover.

Only two real ideas come to mind, either she's the Spring Maiden (Hence no Maiden Raven since unlike canon I doubt Tatsumaki would lose to the Bandit Queen)

Or she is a girl with a Telekinesis Semblance and Jaune levels of Aura so Glynda her as a apprentice.

Or Glynda, Tatsumaki and Fubuki are sisters and share the same semblance
