Who does each character in 'Saw' main in Mario Kart?
shitty image quality TW
first off the GOAT, John. John uses Wiggler. John knows that appearing helpless and silly is the key to winning. John regularly wins the Saw inc Mario Kart tournament due to memorizing every single shortcut beforehand.
Amanda. Amanda mains Pauline. She loves to see a girlboss winning. She used to play as Isabelle when AC New Horizons came out but denies this. Amanda is ok at Mario Kart. John makes sure everyone lets her win sometimes.
Hoffman mains Ludwig. Theres nothing deep to this, just look at the resemblance. Uncanny. He and Ludwig share a misguided thirst for power. Hoffman couldn't win a game of Mario Kart if his sister's life depended on it.

Something that confuses me, is redditors logic of Mike's behavior? Specifically when it comes to the painting it just doesn't make sense to be fully convinced Mike can't possibly return Will's feelings?
For starters, they insist that Mike was uncomfortable with Will at the airport because he could sense Will's feelings for him and so that's why he couldn't hug him (as to not lead him on), and also panicked when he saw the painting bc he realized that he was probably the girl Will liked (according to El's letter). By their logic, Mike was obviously just uncomfortable with Will's feelings for him and the fact that he made a painting for him (with romantic implications) and that's because he does not return those romantic feelings whatsoever...
If we then apply that same logic to the van scene?... What the actual fuck is going on there then?
We got almost 5 seconds of Mike just staring at Will while he isn't looking as he's grabbing the painting, followed by Will handing it to Mike who looks confused like, For me? Are you sure? very visibly nervous, only to finally open it and look more relieved and happy than we've ever seen him, arguably in the entire show...?
Mind you, this is at a point when Mike fully assumed the painting is for a girl someone Will likes, right?
I repeat! According to their logic, Mike is under the assumption that this painting is for someone Will likes, and Mike is now currently finding out that it's for him and he is relieved???
WHY WOULD MIKE BE RELIEVED THAT WILL'S PAINTING IS FOR HIM, IF WERE BEING GIVEN A SCENARIO THEY ALREADY BELIEVE HAPPENED AT THE START OF THE SEASON, WITH MIKE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT??
AND WHY DID MIKE LOOK HAPPIEST BEFORE WILL SAID EL'S NAME? WHY DID HIS SMILE LITERALLY FALL AFTER WILL SAID EVEN EL, ESPECIALLY EL?
AND WHY DID MIKE LOOK MOST EMOTIONAL WHEN WILL WAS DESCRIBING THEIR RELATIONSHIP OVER THE LAST YEAR PERFECTLY, USING WORDS MIKE ALREADY USED WHEN HE MADE UP WITH WILL EARLIER IN THE SEASON???

okay so with all the hermitcraft muppet stuff… i’m thinking… hermitcraft The Muppets (2011) au… it works beautifully hear me out…
y/n is an autistic person who is OBSESSED with hermitcraft. however by this point, hermitcraft has been disbanded for years. they visit the season 9 world - now under the ownership of some corporation - and accidentally overhear evil xisuma’s plans to purchase the original hermitcraft worlds and destroy them, and the hermits would be unable to stop him, unless they buy the world first for an even higher amount of money than ex is offering. y/n refuses to let this happen and tracks down xisuma, explaining the situation. xisuma doesn’t want to have all the things he worked on with his friends destroyed, so decides, in order to raise the money needed to stop ex, all the hermits must reunite and hold a twitch subathon.
starting with joe hills, y/n and xisuma track down the hermits and ask them to join, via montage. they’ve all moved on and have new jobs. hypno is doing some modded stuff, tango is an overworked game dev, doc is a tomato farmer, gem is a serial killer, mumbo is biking around europe, grian is procrastinating, cleo is a fashion director, zedaph is a gameshow host, etc etc. they all agree to help, with varying degrees of hesitance or eagerness
finally, they track down etho. he is now working for a big name company designing redstone machines full time. despite their best efforts, etho refuses to help, satisfied with his current job and lacking any motivation for hermitcraft projects. everyone is discouraged with etho not joining the project, especially bdubs. however gem calls etho washed up and then etho suddenly decides to join them to prove his worthiness
they have a day to try and build as many minigames and cool builds as possible. several “celebrity guests” show up for the event, including scott and martyn, and wilbur soot, because he’s enamoured with grian. the stream starts, and they try to do competitions and play games, however, the helsmits are there and are trying to sabotage the event. y/n has been questioning this entire time what type of player they are - redstoner, builder, etc - failing to succeed in any of those categories, however, after a heartful talk with joe hills, accepts that there are talents not recognised by the minecraft community at large but are still admirable, and they do a dramatic poetry reading together.
in the end, evil xisuma, refusing to accept defeat, cuts out the power to stop the stream 23 hours and 59 minutes in - a minute short of the time goal. the hermits are at first devastated but then remember that as with any stream like this, they already reached the monetary goal 5 minutes in. in fact, they reached double the goal the moment grian talked, and five times the goal the second etho was in frame. zedaph puts on his wormman costume and talks to ex, who reveals he has only been so focused on destroying hermitcraft because it made him sad to see the hermits celebrated but his favourite hermit of all - wormman - ignored. wormman explains that its okay, because of his nature of being a superhero, he needs to stay out of the limelight to best protect his identity, but he appreciates ex’s dedication to him. the other helsmits run away, plotting their revenge. a new season of hermitcraft is announced, and y/n is unanimously voted to be part of it. gem kills someone. scar proposes to grian. the crowd goes wild. everyone claps. the shot zooms out, revealing the entire thing to have been playing on a computer monitor. cut to zloyxp, pixlriffs, and lyarrah sitting in front of it, furiously taking notes for the first recap in many years

Having read the Overlord Light Novels I genuinely think people who are frustrated that Ainz is too powerful to lose are missing the point of the entire story.
I can see why you'd think that way if you only watched the Anime though, like, yeah valid complaint tbh.
Several times while reading I'm shocked (and honestly speaking, sometimes bored) by the amount of depth given to some side characters. Like, why do I need all this backstory??? Who are these people?
Then Ains comes in and I suddenly get it. This is a world that existed waaaaaay before Ains got there, there are people who are playing games that were set up 100 years before Ains got there.
And he just...invalidates it. Honestly, it's kind of hilarious. The tension doesn't come from "He could lose this fight at any time.” The tension comes from "How does him entering the ring change the course for the entire nation?" The tension comes from, "What's going to happen after he wins?"
Coupled with the fact that Momonga himself is pretty bumbling when it comes to long term goals I find that I don't care if he wins or loses. I'm interested in how it gets spun, I'm interested in the repercussions, how does everyone else react to his feats? That's the real fun of Overlord.

DEADLOCH SPOILERS
It's so interesting that #FeministAlly Serial Killer Ray is like 'Eddie we can get married and have a kid! We can watch Buffy on the couch together' as if a) that is ANYTHING that Eddie would want if he actually knew her rather than idealisng her and b) That Marriage was the end game for him
Like all his grandstanding about being an ally and such a good guy is undercut by him wanting credit, but also by him STILL buying into to this Essentialist view of men and women: men are always the agressors and women are always the victims, there is no repentance for the men, it is innate and unable to be change.
His paternalistic idea that women can't get out of bad situations by themselves, seen with his shock that Abby DID break up with James on her own. That his happy ending is a wife, kids, and a dog as if that tight nuclear family environment is not partially causal to IPV due to the closed off nature of our lives under the capitalist imperial system in so called australia, as Sharelle says 'All that civility and no Actualy community amoungst you Cunts' Ray was killing Sex Workers because they were 'undeseriable', and he seemed to to see what he did to them as Bad, because Eddie pointing out that murder is murder is what shakes him
It's RadFem logic, and it's facinating to see it in the show

Right so everyone's speculating about the next season of Phineas and Ferb but has anyone considered that it could simply be Milo Murphy's Law disguised as Phineas and Ferb to make up for the seasons we never got?
i have certainly considered this. i think it would be hilarious honestly

I think it would behoove a lot of people to read this quote irt Astarion's character made by Neil Newbon himself.
https://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gate-3s-astarion-neil-newbon-on-acting-the-truth-of-trauma-as-a-survivor-theres-a-lot-of-stuff-that-came-very-close-to-home/?utm_campaign=socialflow&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com
"You have to play every reality, you have to play every side of him."
It's just.... baffling to act like people who get ANY of the 'bad' endings are like bad people for doing so. These endings aren't added just to be some "teehee isn't this so messed up *wink wink*" kind of thing. They were put in with reason, they were included with intention. All the endings a character can get are explorations Of that character. Both how these characters can make a better life for themselves, or how they can fall to the worst outcome. All of these endings are "realities" the character can end up at depending on how their life goes. Astarion's ascension, Gale either dying or becoming power hungry, Shadowheart becoming a Dark Justiciar. ALL of these were added with the reason to let you play the game and see how vastly different their lives can turn out.
Ultimately, Baldur's Gate 3 is an *RPG*. A Role-playing game, one that's based on DND. Having "good" and "evil" choices is literally one of the largest aspects of DND and the Baldur’s Gate series. DND literally CREATED the Good/Neutral/Evil - Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic axis, all with the intention of both characters in universe, and player's own created characters to be able to explore ANY of the four corners. All of these choices, routes, and endings exist both as a result of the exploration of how their life could be affected by support/lack of it, as well as how they could potentially shift across the alignment chart due to their development. Because ultimately development doesn't automatically mean "person becomes a better person and achieves the ending they deserve", both in real life and in the game it can just as easily come to "person ends up arriving to the worst possible outcome they could have possibly had."
Ultimately I have to say as well, if people are bad for even exploring these routes to see how the development takes place, then by this logic you must know that you're also essentially stating that the developers are also horrible for ever including these options into the game from the first place, right?

The pushback to the term "cultural Christianity" from atheists is real odd to me because, as someone who has been an atheist since 13, only ever went to church a handful of times never with my own family (made a note never to sleep over at that friends house on a Saturday again bc I HATED church it smelled like shit, was boring, pews are uncomfortable as fuck, and the religious people I knew were all wildly misogynistic and I've never been here for being told I was less of a person for being Born Like This), and generally had no actual connection to Christianity in a meaningful way but still only knows Christian mythology, has been steeped in Christian values I had to untangle, and my religious understandings are still deeply Christian.
Like Ive never paid attention to the bible, church, Jesus, Christian teachings, or whatever but if you asked me about any religion the one I'll reliably know the most about is Christianity. I don't know why atheists are offended by being called culturally Christian because they have bad blood with the religion because like sorry bruh that doesn't mean you're less indoctrinated by Christian values if the culture you grew up in is predominantly Christian. In fact I'd say that religion being this ubiquitous in the culture regardless of anyone's consent to exactly ONE religion being shoved down our throats is reason to team up with other religious folks who ALSO don't like being constantly evangelized to by the culture at large, not a reason to throw a fit because you don't like being tied to a religion that is so ingrained into the culture that shit like "oh my god" and "Jesus Christ" are common expressions of surprise regardless of how atheist you are. Like surely I'm not the only atheist to notice the shocking amount of cultural religious shit that works it's way into my life and speech despite having not set foot in a church since I was like 10, and I can't remember the last time I was in one before that.
Idk man cultural Christianity seems like a pretty damn useful term to describe my relationship with a religion I never fully bought into and then actively rejected as a child yet still hold weird connections to and knowledge of just because Christianity is so baked into the culture I grew up in like it or not. If you want to be mad, be mad at the Christians who stole your freedom from religion from you, not usually religious minorities who discuss cultural Christianity and how it damages them too.

While still on my 2HA high, I really want to talk about Chu Wanning's love for Mo Ran.
It is strange, isn't it? How deep his love goes when he only met little Mo Ran for a short while.
IMO, Chu Wanning is like Goj0 Sat0ru - the strongest but the loneliest. Everyone puts them on a pedestal which isolates them from building true connections with others.
For example, Xue Meng obviously loves and cares for Chu Wanning. However, he deeply respects and fears him too. He never sits beside his teacher when eating after all.
Coupled with Chu Wanning's temper and horrible social skills, he is an intimidating figure that would be really difficult to befriend.
Then little Mo Ran barges into his life. He disregarded all the social propriety bullshit and straight up demanded Chu Wanning to pay attention to him. He reached out and interacted Chu Wanning as a person - not some powerful figure to be revered and feared. For someone who has been treated as almost a "nonperson" because of his abilities for his entire life, that simple demand was special and kind in Chu Wanning's perspective.
So, imo, Chu Wanning is like Goj0 and Mo Ran is his "Get0". He loves him because, through sheer luck (aka fate), he is the first to see him beyond his powers and treat him as a real person.
So the next question then is when did Chu Wanning fell in love with Mo Ran?
I don't really know. In the beginning of the new timeline, Wanning is already in love with Mo Ran - he feels jealous of Shi Mei and feels wrong about having such feelings. I guess his love grew over time? Kinda like how Shi Mei and Mo Ran developed their feelings for him.
Maybe that's the case in 0.5 too but far more complicated. Chu Wanning loved Mo Ran. Fell in love with Mo Ran but never did anything about it because of Shi Mei. Probably fell out of love because of Taxian-Jun being Taxian-Jun. However, Chu Wanning's love for Mo Ran still endured despite everything especially when he realized his former disciple needed saving.
As for lusting after Mo Ran, I can only say poor Chu Wanning in the current(second?) timeline. The guy's already in love and ready to take his forbidden feelings to his grave. However, the soul fragment 0.5 Wanning put into him made him remember all his horrific experiences as an abused sex slave by Taxian-Jun... which he misinterpreted as wet dreams and triggered his lust. What a fucking mess. It would have been funny if it weren't so dark and depressing.
