“If you go out like that, everyone will know.” Fukuzawa said, earning himself an immediate snort coming from his partner’s mouth.

“Everyone. As if your kid wasn’t the only person nearby, Fukuzawa-dono. You know, that kid that blew your mind because of how easily he notices everything?” Was Mori’s answer, accompanied by one of those smug smiles that drove him mad in a wide range of ways.

“And Natsume-sensei, who we are supposed to meet later tonight.”

“I bet sensei will be delighted. Or, at least, not surprised either.” There was no way to deny how high the odds of that being true were, so Fukuzawa didn’t even bother trying.

“I just think them knowing is one thing, and having visual proof is another.” Fukuzawa then added, eyeing the source of his concerns: a couple of markings over Mori’s neck. And what came next shouldn’t have surprised him, but it did.

“Aw, are you nervous?” There it was again, that smile in the doctor’s face, now ten times more intense. “My, my, if there isn’t the consequences of your own actions.” Hit and sunk, not to mention how complaining was pointless when he had served that to Mori on a silver plate; he had definitely not cared when leaving those on his partner’s skin. Or thought, by that matter.

“Alright, you win.”

“Words I never get tired of hearing.” With yet another smile, now filled with satisfaction, Mori pressed a brief kiss on his lips. “I can put something over it, though that may make the whole ordeal more obvious. Just don’t offer me that hideous scarf and we’re good.”

god i can't. i can't imagine any of them swearing. maybe in dazai's pm days mori would've said a 'fuck' under his breath but it was a desperate situation (dazai existed and was around and was always drinking poison). i think fukuzawa really wants to sometimes he just doesn't

12. What they do for their anniversary

mori sends fukuzawa expensive gifts for their divorce anniversary i think. because he wants to win him back. fukuzawa either gives those to someone else or throws them away (probably the later. ranpo told everyone the gifts are from mori so they probably don't want them)

Ok well, i know quality is just a mess :') i still am too busy but again i started to think about them more than anything... And i have a notebook that 19 years old like me. AND IT RUNS PHOTOSHOP CS4!! So i decided to draw my fukumoris there but i need to handle that quality eheh...

So so so i had a long long story for this drawing but i won't come here now cause this is an event that coming true long time later. I want to make a different thing. Hm... Though i drew few sketches, i will put them here then write the story here~

"The day came, Fukuchi has died. Yokohama was recovering it's wounds, everything came to normal except one thing: Agency had to tranfer a member to the mafia... The sun was shining, children were enjoying the goodness of weather. This day, agency's president and mafia's boss arranged a meeting at a park. Fukuzawa brought Kunikida, Dazai, Yosano and Tanizaki with him. On the other side, Mori brought Kouyou and Black Lizard Team with him. They met at the center of the park. They we're staring each other with sharp gazes. Fukuzawa didn't want to give any member of agency to mafia. But in the end they were here and Mori was smiling mischievously. 'So Fukuzawa Dono, everything came back to the normal, right?' Fukuzawa's eyes were closed, tried to ignore him. But he noticed that Mori's voice was not calm like he always had. That made him to open his eyes and look at him. Mori was smiling but this smile had nothing in it like old times. Actually Fukuzawa could say that Mori was stressed out and not trying to hide it.

When Mori noticed that Fukuzawa was aware of his situation he started to talk again. 'You see, we had an arrangement.' His eyes locked into Fukuzawa's after he looked every member of the agency. Fukuzawa tried to make his voice got out stable, not full of anger. 'I won't give you any of my members of agency." Actually he managed to keep his voice calm but Mori could see the sharpness of his eyes. 'Yes well, i helped you because of this arrangement. And now you're turning me back. I wasn't expected something like this could come from you.' Mori's voice was joyful but still cold. 'I said do not choose Yosano Sensei.' Yosano suddenly turned her gazes to Fukuzawa. She... Mori said her that Fukuzawa was ready to give her to mafia. 'I won't choose her.'

Mori's voice tone suddenly changed to an another coldness level. His eyes never left Fukuzawa's eyes. 'And i won't leave you any opportunity to take my-' Mori interupted him. 'My apologizes Fukuzawa Dono but if i had an arrangement with someone or an organization i always gain what i want. You promised me, i promised you. I did what i said to you, protected the agency. It's your turn now.' Fukuzawa closed his eyes with an anger, he knew he couldn't win this game. Dazai, other hand, wanted to talk but he knew he couldn't win against to Mori either. Mori like he noticed Dazai's annoyance talked. 'I don't want Dazai Kun either.' His tone didn't change. These words and Mori's behaviour were making Fukuzawa curious more. He couldn't resist to ask.

'Then who do you want?' Mori smiled him, his eyes were on him but Mori was in an another time. He was not there, nearly a minute went. Mori suddenly smiled gently which was real. Fukuzawa didn't like this. 'You won't like my answer.' Fukuzawa didn't like this either. He quietly sighed, and waited for the answer. 'I want you to join mafia Fukuzawa Dono.' Mori said all in one breath. And managed to pick everyones eyes up on him. Some of them made loud rejections or surprised voices. He was still with his mask, the barriers were around him but Fukuzawa could see the fear or mostly annoyance. 'What are you talking about?' Mori locked his eyes to him. 'I mean what i meant. I need your company, actually Yokohama needs...' he sighed with an out of annoyance. He waited a moment,then talked.'Yokohama need us.' Fukuzawa kept his gazes on him nearly a minute. Tried to understand what Mori was saying to him. He then opened his mouth but Mori was faster than him. 'Katori Saito, do you remember?' Fukuzawa's eyes sharpened. He was talking about a dead man, he nodded. 'So i am honored to announce to you that he is alive.' His smile was never irritating like this before. Because of that man they had hard times years ago. And Fukuzawa's himself killed him. That's because his eyes were widened. 'Excuse me-?' Fukuzawa still didn't get it. Or got it but couldn't process it.

Mori left a rough laugh to an empty space. 'I was waiting for this face.' Fukuzawa cleared his throat before he talk. 'And how do you know he's alive. I was- i killed him. With my own hands, you were there.' Mori's eyes slipped away to Yosano from him. When she heard the kill word from Fukuzawa she just couldn't help herself. She knew that Fukuzawa was an assassin before but she hear anything from Fukuzawa about this subjet before. Then Mori looked Fukuzawa again. 'Yeah, I was there too. But Natsume Sensei says the opposite. And as you can see if we won't make a proper plan or can't sync with each other Yokohama will see the worst days of its. And i can't do this without your company.' Mori waited for few seconds Fukuzawa to process what he's offering for.

Then Mori sharpened his eyes and locked them to him. 'I don't want Fukuzawa Yukichi with me. I need Silver Wolf, the bodyguard of that clinic doctor. Today's Fukuzawa Yukichi is softer than anything. Those children made you soft, right?' His cold tone was going colder at the end of the sentence. 'The Government's Assassin  Fukuzawa Yukichi, i need his company. So this is the arrangement: I take you.' His authorized voice didn't make anything easier. Fukuzawa took a deep breathe, closed his eyes, thought all about it. If that man was alive this would turn their lifes into a nightmare. Fukuzawa then opened his eyes, he felt everyones eyes on him. He bet those mafia members didn't know a thing about him that much, nor the agency... He took few steps, held out his left hand for Mori to take. Mori stared at that hand, Fukuzawa always used his right hand. Ah damn... With hesitation Mori took his hand, Fukuzawa espicially was checking something. Something that he was hiding always under his gloves. Mori closed his eyes with an annoyance. When Fukuzawa found what he wanted he made a nostalgic face while staring the space. 'Deal then?' Agency's eyes were widened. Was Fukuzawa really thinking about joining the mafia-? That couldn't be possible. But now they were shaking hands. Fukuzawa made a promise. And there was an enemy waiting for to be defeated. Fukuzawa closed his eyes. 'Deal.' "

Yeah! This is what i am thinking about! So yeah i was thinking about taking a little help from you. Who should be that man who came alive. We need to find a name -i don't like creating oc's and btw we won't talk about this man, i don't like oc's either :') but i've needed this to make their Way hehe-

Yeahh its kinda minor but YEAH. During the Dragon's Head Conflict the Port Mafia comissions the ADA to help them win the turf war considering they have the massive powerhouse that is skk. This is a deal that Mori accepts.. reluctantly because he still has respect for Fukuzawa from their Double Black days. Ranpo tasks Oda to work with him specifically to do some spying and infiltration type stuff and they get along. Preeettyy well.

So after the DHC they meet up and become drinking buddies (well more like secret dinner buddies bc Ranpo doesn't touch alcohol). Mori is aware that his oldest kid is going and having a forbidden romance arc with the Mafia Prince but he doesn't discourage it bc Oda can defend himself and he seems happier then usual. Dazai also knows and he is JEALOUS.

After the mimic situation Ranpo resents the ADA for letting Oda die.

Rating random bsd ships for no real reason

Soukoku= 10/10 peak vitriolic besties who claim to hate each other but have far too much homoromantic chemistry and undying trust in each other. Have definitely fumbled in the dark and gagged about it later. Probably will do it again and gag again.

Fyolai= 10/10 religious trauma with a heavy dose of insane obsession where you dont know if you wanna kiss them or bathe in their blood.

Kunikizai= 8/10 so much wasted potential , smart milf ex wife - loser old ex hubby energy.

Sigzai= 6/10 cute but no real staying power. Seems like a fleeting hype. Dazai is too much of a ho.

Fyozai= 20/10 they wanna hate fuck so bad but if any blood went down to Fyo's dick his anemic ass is dying on the spot.

Sigchuu= 100/10 they need to ditch the meursault losers and go to dinner and bond over their humanity crises already.

Atsusig(?)= 10/10 idk cute as shit, somehow makes a LOT of sense in my head.

Yosano/me= 5802726280117192916/10 we're in love.

Atsulucy= 10/10 traumatized children find comfort in each other proceed to be the most shonen couple. Extra win for Lucy being a redhead cause redheaded girls are special to me.

Fukumori= -10000/10 keep mori away from Fukupapa's kids. Divorced and for good reason.

Ranpoe= 9.5/10 aro/ace besties who are the closest to romantic as they can get with each other.

Atsuaku= 100/10 in the beast universe, too much baggage to work in the canon timeline.

none of you have any clue what's going to smack you in the faces when I post chapter two

of the fukumori hades/persephone au. I started you off slow. easy, even. nice, short chapter. 2.5k. 

chapter two is barely halfway done and currently 4k. have a snip.

He stood, brushing off his robes, and Fukuzawa followed suit. "I like sweet foods, and mortals are really creative with them, so it's really a win-win! What kinds of food do you like, Fukuzawa-san? Have you eaten mortal food before?"

He shook his head. "I haven't, no, not really."

"Oh, well, then you're in for a real treat! Oh, I can't wait to figure out what your favorites are… mortals are so creative with food, you know, because if they like something, they'll get more out of eating it. Literally! It's proven! And oh, the things they can do once fire is involved… you know that layered, gross root, the onion? Well, they cook it with low heat for a while and it turns brown and smells and tastes phenomenal. They call the process caramelization, because they also discovered that when you cook sugar with water, it makes a deliciously sweet and sticky thick brown liquid called caramel. I guess mortals have a drive to leave a mark on their world since they're only here for so long, you know? Oh, I'm rambling so much, aren't I."

"No, I like listening to you. You know so much about mortals' daily lives, while I only hear about the events that changed them. No one tells me about food."

"Oh, well then, you've got to hear about this weird way of roasting meat that I heard of from a trader the other week. Apparently, when you dig a trench, build a fire in it, let it get down to coals, line it with wet leaves, drop a whole pig in there, cover it up, and let it cook for a day, it comes out incredible." 

Fukuzawa raised his eyebrows. He could hardly believe such a thing was possible.

"I know, right, it sounds insane, but the man was adamant that it works. Oh, two sticks of dango, please," he told the man working the stand. Fukuzawa watched him fish a few coins out of his belt pouch and pay with a grin. "Here you go, Fukuzawa-san! Watch, here's how you eat it without making a complete mess of yourself. It's okay though, I made a mess the first few times I ate these."

The other half is split into two halves: one wants to read more fanfiction about Mori being a good parental figure, the other is screaming FUKUMORI.

i weep for odango. y’all don’t even know. i adore them so so much, they’re so soft and in love. oda knew that ango was different from the moment that he walked into that bar, and many nights of staying late after dazai left to talk and talk lead to oda asking ango if he could kiss him, and that lead to oda walking him home every night, and that lead to ango eventually inviting him in because oda was always too respectful to ask. in verses where he lives, oda never blamed ango. he knows ango was just doing his job. they are so in love and i love them so so much.

i love zadiepo so much. when i went to lucy about potentially shipping this i really didn’t know what she’d say but she was on board pretty much immediately. i just had this idea about ranpo asking her to play clue finding games because they both work on solving murders at their respective offices and then that was it, she said yes and now we ship it. they still play their game and ranpo wins every single time and zadie doesn’t mind because she loves him, she loves him so much. they even have their own little sign language signals that they’ve invented so that no one knows what they are saying to each other.

again, odasaku’s death and dazai’s burden just weighs on my heart and it hurts so much now. the weight of human emotions and the weight of the burdens on these young people (and old people too, fukumori grandpas) just pushes me down to the ground and this is both satisfying and just--it makes me very sad and happy at the same time. i want to yell and exclaim, ah this is the human life i am going to experience one day, perhaps; but i can't help but feel the weight of life and experiences in life.

No training was needed to notice the pair of eyes staring right at him as Fukuzawa moved around the kitchen; the girl hadn’t been exactly stealthy even, despite not having uttered a word yet. And, instead of inquiring quickly, he had chosen to give her some space first.

“Do you need anything, Yosano-kun? If the matter is hunger, no need to worry, dinner will be ready soon.”

“Thanks. But also…” She trailed off, clearly gathering the courage to at least anticipate what had brought her there so early. “There’s something I wanted to tell you.”

“Of course, what is it?” After checking nothing would start burning on the stove if he directed most of his attention somewhere else, Fukuzawa turned to face her and nodded in encouragement.

“I… well, I’m not exactly a fan of his, you know. But still, I’m sorry Mori-sensei and you broke up because of me.”

“Do not apologize, please.” He hadn’t been faring well, and that was anything but a secret between those walls, but still… “It was your case like it could have been anything else. So focus on your new life, will you?”

“Those are healing well.” Elise commented, well aware of how there was absolutely no need.

“Undoubtedly.” Was Rintarô’s answer, as he finished putting new bandages back on with a calm demeanor who would fool a lot of people. Not her, though; she was basically wired to know.

The wounds she had referred to, the ones he had just finished tending to, had been caused by Rintarô’s own hand albeit not on purpose. After the fight at the hospital rooftop, Elise had gotten out of combat mode and found him gripping so hard at his own upper arms there were now three identical markings on each side, where nails had dug in.

She hadn’t asked, not because she couldn’t but because (again) there was no need to. Huh. So much for the guy who had talked about how having a heart didn’t win wars and all that jazz.

“You know you can weep again, right?” Elise was, still, somewhat asking now. “That, curse the guy in question…” She shrugged.

“Hm, seems your list can go on. Can’t it, Elise-chan? Because now I’m curious. Were you going to suggest I’d get a rebound next?”

“Eugh, no.” A fake gagging sound accompanied those words.
