When you'd started spontaneously seeing Hook for battle injuries, you didn't even really expect it to turn into anything. Well, you didn't mind it any- in fact, you were glad it ended up happening. The steadily growing affection that began circling your spark when you interacted with the medic had started being bothersome. Thankfully, the feelings were mutual, at least. Hook had been muttering curses about the Autobots while he was readjusting your thigh after the last battle. And he was just really close to you, and you couldn't help thinking how easy it would be to just close the gap and lock derma with him.

So you did.

You broke the kiss when Hook didn't return it, hoping he wouldn't reject you too hard if you let him just do it quickly. You shared a long stretch of optical contact with one another to the point that you almost apologized. All before Hook grabbed you by your helm kibble and used it to yank you into a headier kiss. After the rather heated make out, Hook simply returned to fixing you. Which led to the questions like if you wanted him. (Yes-) If he wanted you. (Yes.) So yeah, now you were a thing. Which had been great so far, Hook was attentive, and while a bit reserved about his affections, he still made it obvious he did care about you.

So when a frame about the size of your significant other wrapped around you from behind, you were only mildly perturbed. What with Hook not exactly being a bot for public displays of affection you almost assumed it may have been someone else- but the flash of bright green gauntlets made you relax. The brush of an affectionate em field made you smirk and ask what's gotten into him. The only response was a low engine purr and his em field flexing out a touch further.

He's got his arms wrapped around your middle and his servos on your front- wait- hold on. You cycled your optics and stared at purple servos. "Ah, there you are." Your helm snapped up, and you stared at Hook. Who was not behind you but very much in front of you, and had just walked into the hallway.

Your optics cycled, and you then looked back over your pauldron to find it was Bonecrusher who'd just wrapped himself around you. You were a bit more than shocked when one of Bonecrushers servos found your jaw and abruptly pulled you into a kiss. You broke away, befuddled, and looked back at Hook. Who was still standing in front of you, completely nonreactive to what just happened.

...Huh?

They'd both dragged you to one of their habsuites, and you were uh- surrounded? Yeah. Surrounded on all sides. They'd apparently dragged two berths together, and they all still did not fit- legs and limbs hanging off the edges. (You doubt they'd even fit if there were three berths- the Constructicons were larger mechs after all). But you were in the middle of it all- leaning back half lying against Hook, while the rest of the Constructicons were half on top of your frame.

You were being pet at from every angle- if it wasn't digits or servos, it was their em field brushing along your frame instead. (Some of them were doing all three!) You could not keep up with them only having your own servos against all six of them. So you gave up trying to get to everyone instead electing to just fan your em field out as openly as you could. Which seemed to have some effect since they'd all stopped trying to clamber over each other for your attention. So now you were just... stuck.

Mixmaster tracing, what you now suddenly think might actually be formulas, on your leg makes you twitch. Long haul barely shifted where he was lying against your lower front, digits also tracing your armor. Scrapper was on your other leg but simply lying there. With only his em field fanning across your plating. Scavenger murmuring praise and loving phrases against your audial makes your optics brighten a touch when you register what he'd just said. Bonecrusher was by your other audial, not speaking but caressing your frame where he could.

You looked up, and your optics found Hooks. Hooks- at least you think it was his- servo tilted your chin backward further, and he kissed you right on the derma. The longing in it only made your plating fluff a touch in bashfulness.

Well- you guess you actually had six significant others? You could only wonder how you ended up in this situation.

... You also wondered when you'd be allowed up.

so, because of what is happening on twitter with opbee currently, i think some things need to be said.

for context: there's a trend "we listen we don't judge" going around social media, which, well, most of the time you're not listened and judged and roasted instead. so someone posted an 'opbee edition', asking of people's opinions on the pairing. at first it's been...more or less okay. but i won't be wrong if i say shit hit the fan rather quickly.

there were words about how disgusting the ship is. how disgusting are the shippers. there were words that the shippers must be investigated. there was a death wish and i think kai agreed with it?

why there was so much hate?

because people see them as father and son. because Bumblebee is infantilised by the fandom. and that is the problem. not the shipping or shippers.

so... let's go over all the facts, okay? calmly. read all of this post please.

1) Father and son

the biggest argument why this is a 'trash ship' is because people *see* them as father and son. yes. *see them*. they're not father and son. there's no canon confirmation of Prime ever adopting Bumblebee, or Bee being blood-related to him. if you google it -- you'll get a wattpad AU! fanfic. they're not canonically related in any way.

why do people see them like that?

as far as i'm aware, it started in g1 and some tfone voice actors said that they see them like that too, but a) i don't have the interview, b) it all grew out of a meme.

and that argument crumbles after a couple questions. what a father would Prime be for sending his alleged son to war? even after his arch nemesis literally yanked his alleged son's throat out, taking his voice away (tfp)? yeah, that's a great father an son relationship, don't you think?

a less... scientific or journalistic or rational, call it what you want, answer, is...daddy issues.

people just see Prime as a father figure and because Bumblebee is infantilised he's seen as his child.

i have daddy issues too, i don't deny it. my father was emotionally unavailable until recently. but to people who say only fatherless ship opbee -- look into your own traumas. please. talk to a therapist and then think twice about telling others something like that.

2) Bumblebee is a child

no he is not. there's no canon info about how old he is. from what I was able to find - he's six millions old. SIX MILLIONS. Optimus is nine millions, and that COMBINING his existence as Orion Pax (4-4,5 mil) and as Optimus (the rest). so, do the math. Bumblebee might be just a little older than him, older than PRIME, but a bit younger than PAX.

the infantilisation of Bumblebee is a huge problem for transformers fandom and the canon itself. no-one takes him seriously. and yes, i agree, he might be in his very late teens or a young adult, but he's not a child, not a toddler, not a middleschooler, not a minor. look at Bayverse Bumblebee. look at War for Cybertron (especially Netflix) Bumblebee. look at Earthspark Bumblebee. even G1 is *not* a child.

think about it. would a child be able to kill Skyquake or any other Decepticon (tfp)? would a child be a mercenary, that avoided war up until it killed cybertron (netflix wfc)? wouldn't a child hesitate when sent through the city that is currently being destroyed and heavily bombarded to tell some guy named 'Optimus' that Zeta Prime is dead (wfc game)?

think about it twice. rewatch anything but animated while watching for "signs of adult personality".

think thrice before saying Bee is a child or child-coded. at most, he's neurodivergent-coded, or just someone who's not really in touch with his emotions (think the rage moments)

3) age gap

there's none. i said about it slightly higher. at most their age gap is three millions old. that is insignificant for beings that are essentially immortal, unless they get sick or killed.

now think of all the mech+human pairings. how come that kind of age gap is normalised?

i'm not saying that to shame the fans of Charlie/Bee or Mirage/Noah or Optimus/Michaela or any other, no. i like those ships. every ship is relevant.

the double standard and hypocrisy is not. it's not okay.

4) all, or anything of listed above makes people uncomfortable

it's okay. your feelings are relevant.

and i, a shoker, don't like opmeg too much. i didn't like that my whole twitter was only them after tfone. you know what i did? i added 'opmeg' and 'megop' into ignored words. and that's all. my soul is at peace.

is it so hard to do the same? let the shippers be. are they hurting you? no. are they hurting anyone else? no. so just use the feature twitter and tumblr have had for a long while and bluesky has too. use it. and ignore the ship if it makes your eyes hurt. spare yourself and spare the people that like the ship.

5) there's no dynamics

no there is. watch fall of cybertron trailer. rethink all "Optimus I'd die for you" and actual deaths.

6) the shippers are sick and other words people say

you know what i read? i read that someone thinks that blocking shippers isn't enough, they want them, they want me dead for shipping and creating content. that i'm weird for shipping opbee. that i'm sick. that i, and others, need to be investigated.

no, no we are not weird. i don't know about everyone, i only know about myself. i have issues. i have trauma, hell, who doesn't? i know it could have been worse, for example, if i stayed in Kyiv after the war began. opbee helps me cope. and it helps not only me.

have you.. actually mindfully, objectively read what is posted under opbee tag? yes there's a lot of valveplug, but have you seen the size difference? the kink is tickled.

but the content shippers make is wholesome, cute and comforting. hell, opbee helped me get over my self halm issues, slightly helped with my anger issues, that's what my first fics of them are about.

any ship might be someone's way to cope. respect it. respect people's feelings. it saddens me that empathy doesn't exist anymore. think what impact your words may have on someone before writing those words. think for a moment more. and think again, would it be worthy? would saying that someone's favourite ship is shit and they're sick for loving it be worthy of someone killing themselves? and i'm not exaggerating -- that happened many times.

if you think it's worth it...just block me, okay? like i blocked many people who asked to block them if you ship opbee.

respect other people. respect their feelings, their ships, their requests.

Rodimus was established to be 4.2 million yrs old in the duplicate lost light floating coffin issue. If Megatron's 5 million then that would make them about 800 thousand years apart, while I wouldn't exactly call that the same age they're definitely pretty close, at least relatively speaking? Rodimus' been alive for around 84% of Megatron's life, convert that to human age and it'll be like 50 and 42.

I have to speak my truth. G1 megop is mid. Megatron might be obsessed with op, but to op he's just some guy. Not even in an ultimate enemy way. If megs was gone I don't get the impression that op would obsessively think about his absence for the rest of his life. It's mid. The reciprocity isn't there.

Now tfp. Hoo boy. Yowza. Now That's What I Call Conflicted Yearning. Or in earthspark, it's old man yaoi 24/7. Tfone doesn't even need to be mentioned, we all know already.

Hello! Hope you're doing well. I recently read your crossover stories, and my goodness, THEY ARE AWESOME!!! I've never read something like that my entire life. Like, really, you combined 2 fandoms of my childhood. Also, I should mention your drawings as well! They are literally eye candy to me! 3- Will you be remodelling/ redesigning the Rescue Bots characters, or will they remain in their original form? (If you remodel them, please make Blurr blue like his G1 or Cyberverse styled. He is my favourite autobot)

4- Did you know that Heatwave is Optimus Prime's descendant? (OP, there was called Star Optimus Prime, I checked Transformers Wiki) In the Age of the Primes promotional material toy line, I found out about that!

1. I'm currently planning a one-shot crossover story. Right now, it's still in the early concept phase — I haven’t nailed down exactly when I’ll start writing, since I haven’t watched the entire Rescue Bots series yet, there are still a few gaps in my knowledge I’d like to fill before fully diving in. However, I do know that the setting will likely take place sometime before the events of Rescue Bots Academy, to keep the story grounded in the original show's tone and dynamic. As for the human characters, I’m not entirely sure whether the Greene family will make an appearance — I’m still debating how many supporting characters to include — but the Burns family is definitely on my list!

2. Ehhh… I probably won’t be able to do it (busy with work and stuff) I’ve got a bunch of wips that I also need to finish before taking on anything new. If I do end up depicting them in that style, it would be something simple — most likely keeping their designs close to their original looks, but with dotted eyes and softer features to match the Rescue Bots animation style.

3. Nah, I’ll be keeping the Rescue Bots in their original designs. I like how they look!

My comments on the Extended Generational Sorting Algorithm:

Gosh there are some murky in-betweens here.

G-1 – JSA and teams like the All-Star Squadron and the Blackhawks. The WWII edition. This is occasionally merged with G0 as timelines shift, but includes Hippolyta, Ted Knight, Sandra Knight (as Phantom Lady), Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, etc. A lot of this cohort have aging issues and several have grandkids in G1 or G1.5. Zinda simultaneously belongs to this group and G1.5.

G0 – JSA, the gap between WWII and the first JLA. This is the younger JSA cohort who aren’t so tied to WWII and the gap after. Dinah Drake. Ted Grant. Johnny Quick. Giovanni Zatara. Walter Chase (the Acro-Bat). Bruce’s parents. The Kents. Jim Gordon. Etc.

G1 – JLA land! Bruce, Clark, Diana, Ollie, Barry, Hal, Arthur, etc. You know them. Your idea of a headlining JLA includes these folk.

G1.5 – Birds of Prey and JLI zone. Characters too old to be Titans cohort but younger/clearly different than the G1 headliners. Barbara Gordon and Dinah Lance are the stalwarts of this group, plus I’ll add Helena Bertinelli, Cameron Chase, Kate Spencer, Kendra, etc. I guess I’d probably put Harley Quinn, agewise, here too. Also would add Beatriz, Tora, Booster, Ted Kord, etc. Guy and Zatanna sort of bounce between here and G1 depending on storyline.

G2 – it’s the Titans! Dick, Donna, Wally, Roy, Garth, Victor, Gar, Kory, Raven etc. Their agebounds are probably Roy as the oldest and Gar as the youngest, though Gar’s given to them as a courtesy – he’s realistically a member of G2.5, he just hangs with G2. We also add Kyle and Connor and Jesse Quick etc to this cohort despite them not being core Titans given their strong connections to particularly Donna and Wally.

G2.5 – The JL Taskforce kids and Jason’s non-existent team. Ray Palmer’s Teen Titans. This is a group of individuals that has never properly coalesced. Overlaps in age with both the bottom of G2 and the top of G3 but distinctly don’t belong to either. Jason, Ray, Grant, Argent, Cynthia, Eddie, Snapper Carr, plus Danny Chase and arguably Gar all fall into this group. Rose Wilson overlaps with G3 but vibeswise probably also belongs to this group. I am tossing up whether Anissa and Jennifer Pierce belong here or in G2.

G3 – Young Justice. Tim, Kon, Cassie, Bart, Cissie, Greta, Anita. Cass Cain belongs here despite being the same age as several G2.5s. Steph, Charlie, Black Alice, Jaime, Zachary Zatara, even a handful of the newer folk like Jinny Hex slot in here. Several Supergirls including current Kara, Courtney Whitmore IS a member of this group and the three oldest Marvel kids (Billy, Mary and Freddy) are currently aged into this.

G4 – Damian’s Teen Titans. Damian, Jon Kent (yes even still with the age up), Emiko Queen, Ace West etc. If they are still a teen right now in DC storytelling or SHOULD be a teen, they belong here (if they’re a teen and SHOULDN’T be they’re probably a G3/G5). The Gotham Academy kids. Arguably the Titan Academy kids too? Agewise the DEO Titans kids but spiritually probably not (also the chances of us ever seeing them again is…low) The younger Marvel kids (Eugene, Pedro and Darla especially) are with this group.

G5 – so this group are either alternate G3 or G3.5s. Too new and too un-networked with G3 to be absorbed. Jace Fox, Yara Flor, Jackson Hyde, Duke Thomas and the We Are Robin cohort all belong here. Kong Kenan, Avery Ho, etc also are members.

G6 – Titans Offspring Gen. Almost everyone in this group has been artificially aged, which is a thing, hey. Lian, Irey, Jai, Cerdian, Robbie. Maxine, obviously. Otho and Osul-Ra.

G7 – Help I’m From Earth-One: Power Girl and Helena Wayne.

This is simply my take as an adult viewer. No hard feelings.

1. Trusting the Seekers

The kids do have no choice but to trust the only adults to escape the underground and the Dweller safely, but they should be kept on edge because Nova Storm and Skywarp nearly killed Robbie and Mo TWICE in one day. The second time was deliberately on purpose.

They can't be like "The Seekers helped us escape from a monster. Let's trust them now and forget they tried to kill us before and destroyed the Terrans' life source water caves" at the end but it did.

Whatever stories they heard from their parents, specifically Dot, should be enough to keep them on edge as default.

Have Starscream remind Hashtag to tread carefully around him. Have him remind her he was as awful as Megatron used to be. Frankly speaking, the show portrayed Starscream as a poor little wet cat abandoned by its owner. He's a million years old soldier, not another Terran.

Aside from that, make Hashtag retort by firmly saying that her choice to trust him is hers alone.

Megatron shouldn't have shot Starscream but his paranoia isn't unfounded. Earthspark is partly a continuation to G1 cartoon which makes Screamer's assassination attempts on Megs canon until the show states otherwise.

2. Arcee's relevance in the story

Nothing much to be said here. There's already Elita-1 and Wheeljack who could've mentored the twins while Bee is away. Arcee only appeared in Soundwave's episode and later in the finale being mind controlled half the time. She's there just to irritate the kids or did I miss something?

3. Robbie and Mo getting annoyed at each other occasionally.

They act like twins even before getting the cyber sleeves despite the 5 year age gap. I know some siblings hardly fight but the show seems to forget that siblings that much years have very different maturity level.

Understandable that Mo doesn't mind the cyber sleeves, but Robbie should. People are usually at their worst personality at 14. Robbie is cloud nine after getting new siblings and is never annoyed by them changing his life, oddly.

May be unrelated but I had to ask: Why do they share the same class and the same school? I'm not from the US but I know Robbie (14) should be in middle school while Mo (9) should be elementary school. Is there an occasion where middle and elementary school share a building and sessions? Or is Mo the Raf in Earthspark?

I thought Robbie was 12 until I opened TfWiki. He doesn't act his age.

Lastly, in 'Prime Time', why on Earth do they make a little girl apologize for being upset over her brother DYING???

however, i’d be equally interested in an original plot based off monster high! definitely would like to do something a bit darker, but still staying within the same aesthetic. think … early 2000s emo and trashy grunge, skipping class to do your makeup, popping pills and smoking under the bleachers, myspace, fall out boy and my chemical romance posters all over your room, cigarettes and redbull diets, and serving cunt with amazing fashion at eight am! mostly basing the vibe off things like skins, thirteen, ginger snaps, jennifer’s body, silent hill, and generally just early 2000s horror adjacent media.

i desperately want to have fun with the character and worldbuilding process, if we’re doing an ocxoc plot! ( and honestly, even if we’re writing for canon! ) let’s recreate the iconic characters with our own twists! some ccs i’d love to try and recreate myself include frankie, elissabat, twyla, clawdeen, abbey, torelai, ghoulia, spectra, and many more! but, coming up with our own concepts could be just as fun! i want this to be a large cast, even if we start with just two plots at first for a double up. you’re more than welcome to bring in preexisting ocs and fitting them into the verse, as well! i’ve got a few muses myself that i genuinely feel would eat so hard in a plot like this .. pls, someone let me write a clawdeen muse against a draculaura muse in one of our twenty thousand plots … or a masculine butch deuce against your femme pillow princess cleo …

i write on discord only in private servers that i set up myself. i include tupper, but i do not require you to use it! my length varies from advanced lit to novella, but i am willing to write for lazy lit too! i only require that you write at least four paragraphs. i won’t write less than the discord limit. but i do love including text threads, multiple different au threads, and a plotting + headcanons channel to keep us invested!
