It makes me sad that my boy Samogitia is always erased from GDL and then Commonwealth. Samogitia not so willingly merged with Lietuva because of Teutons and politics, yk, he was a power strong enough for Lithuania adding him to the official GDL name. Samogitian bear was borrowed by Commonwealth and became the Polish bear, and then Polish bear was stolen by communists and became the russian bear. I loved how they made solas sound more like a trickster in vows and vengeance. There was an almost sultry quality to his speech, the way he stretched words and lowered his voice to a whisper in others, and the way you could always feel the edge of a smirk in his voice ASDFGH I'm so obsessed with him and GDL's voice!

Following the shooting, prominent antisemitic internet personalities quickly claimed that the Jews and Israel were involved.

Jon Minadeo, the founder and leader of the Goyim Defense League (GDL) — a a neo-Nazi and white supremacist group — hosted a live audio “Spaces” conversation on X/Twitter titled “”The Jews Try to Assassinate Trump!” in which he blamed the Jews for the assassination attempt, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Conspiracy theorists continued to push the narrative throughout the weekend that the Jews and Israel were responsible for the attempted assassination.

Stew Peters, an alt-right internet personality, responded to a post on X/Twitter questioning why police who were notified of a suspicious character on a roof adjacent to Trump failed to react. “The Israeli-based, American War Machine is responsible for the attempted coup on Saturday,” he wrote. “This was NOT a ‘lone wolf’ scenario as the Israeli-funded ‘media’ would LOVE for you to believe.”

Conspiracy theorists also claimed that the assassination attempt was a plot to remove Trump as the de facto Republican presidential nominee and instead replace him with someone more pro-Israel.

In another X/Twitter Spaces meet-up following the shooting, notable internet provocateurs including Nick Fuentes, Andrew Tate, and Mario Nawful, accused Israel of targeting Trump.

“The [Israelis] tried to discard Trump … it was an attempt to throw him out of there,” said Fuentes, a white supremacist and Holocaust denier.

Why Restricted Archives Entries 031-049 is my favourite Torchwood Audio.

I haven't listened to many so far, and of course nuance is a thing, but I found this audio unique because of how entertaining it is with simply one character in one setting. Obviously this is a testament to everyone's favourite autism boy <3

The ending is kind of enigmatic ?? Because its like "I was only pretending to be a saddo to manage the alien threat >:D" but at the same time what we are shown for the whole audio that this is Ianto when he's not pretending, when he's not being polite. Maybe it shows that he's confident in his true personality to the extent where he's willing to accept that it can be used as a target to the threat, and takes it in his pride. In that case he had been pretending to pretend that he was "morose and lonely" as he put it. Or he was mocking himself in that scene, which also checks out. Either way he doesn't let on that he knows what the alien is until the very end, so it kind of implies that the whole thing is extremely calculated. But the listener is kept guessing, as are the team, about anything and everything that could be attributed to Ianto's personality.

It also gives a voice to the quiet ones. They didn't remember me, they don't listen to me, they didn't invite me, and I don't mind because didn't want to go anyway. If I had been offered I would've said no. But it still hurts. Well, that's just me. Its fine, it's fine, it's fine, I don't mind. Do you want anything? - And I think outside of the TV canon, writers often forget that about Ianto. Tosh is described as shy because of her tone of voice, but Ianto doesn't even allow himself to appear timid. Admittedly its probably hard to portray taciturn characters in media because you only see them when they talk, but I think viewers could take the initiative after he managed to hide Lisa in the archives for so long. James Goss is obviously able to express the complexity of Ianto's character artfully, and what brings it to life as always is GDL's performance. Bro is intensely reserved. More than any other character. He fears being perceived, as do many neurodivergents, and seeks to avoid socialising altogether because he is taken for granted to maintain a mask that is nothing other than useful, with a bit of his uniqueness bleeding through. Though voluntary, this can be very demanding. His true, withdrawn, meticulous, cynical, sarky, camp-y personality would be considered too weird. Because he's like this he gets fed up with how ridiculous the others can be in comparison. And so the cycle continues. His aura is too powerful 😔

One of the individuals in attendance who I filmed at this rally on 9/2/23 is a US Citizen and Nazi named Kent “BoneFace” McLellan. At the rally, he was Seig Heiling while screaming SLAVA UKRAINE. His whole entire body and face is covered in tattoos, including many Nazi tattoos. As I have exposed, he is a Nazi who has traveled abroad to Ukraine to fight in the Ukraine-Russia war. He is an American citizen who was recently given Ukraine citizenship. I have overwhelming evidence that Nazis who are being backed by our government have not only murdered civilians overseas, but they have also been engaged in war crimes. In the case of Kent “BoneFace” McLellan, who resides in Florida, he is a Nazi, a domestic terrorist, and a violent felon who was arrested in Florida in 2012 by the FBI. He was put on the US terror watch list, and then in 2014, he was recruited by the CIA, and the DOD reportedly paid for him to travel to Ukraine in 2014 to join “Right Sector”, and then the Nazi Azov Battalion in 2022, which our taxpayer dollars are now unfortunately funding. Upon his return to the US circa 2022, I have discovered via my investigation that McLellan received a US Army Expeditionary Medal for his “services” in Ukraine. My investigation has uncovered Social media posts he posted in which he posed for a picture, in Ukraine while wearing an Azov Battalion uniform, next to the dead body of a civilian. The image, which I sent to a forensic analyst for verification, has been authenticated. Why is the Joe Biden Regime funding Nazi death squads in Ukraine with US taxpayer dollars? .On the flip flop, I tried using Solas but he just bores me so much. I spent at least 3 playthroughs wondering why he had a goblin shoe on his necklace before I read it was a jawbone so whatever! But also it annoys me when you ask him about literally anything he’s like “oh you want to know smth (Solas Greatly Approves)” and it’s like?? I shouldn’t be getting approval for asking basic questions so I can understand the game better. I feel like it really forces you into a positive relationship with him, like immediately as if the Inquisitor is fascinated by this guy. Which is why I ignore him, and don’t take him anywhere anymore. (Plus combat wise I didn’t care for that Rift Mage stuff.).

.I remember also way back when DAI was being announced and they revealed the VAs back then I was thrilled to see GDL on there, and then when I found out he was Solas I was so disappointed lmao. You cannot give me a lovely Welshman and then pair him with a dour and bland face, especially when some of his concept art is fantastic. So I suppose I’ve always been biased against him but ykno can’t stop me etc etc 💁‍♂️✨.
