Hello, and welcome! I am AstriSim, a Sims 4 content creator that specializes in creating CAS Hiders. These specialty hiders are custom content that removes Maxis clothing, makeup, jewelry, and more from Create-A-Sim for as long as you have the mod placed in your mod folder. If you're tired of sorting through packs you never use or want a cleaner, CC-focused wardrobe, you're in the right place!

Ever since the release of Goth Galore in 2024, CAS Hiders for newer packs have been neglected—until now. I’m here to fill that gap! Whether you're playing a Decades Challenge, prefer an alpha CC aesthetic, or just want to declutter your game, my CAS Hiders will help you fully customize your Sims experience.

A quick note about those creators that came before me ;-)

The Original: Starbearysims has done hiders from every pack from Base Game up to GP09 Star Wars in September 2020, where,

The Successor: Plumbobsandcowplants picked up with EP10 Snowy Escape all the way to EP15 For Rent 12-2023...

(they both forgot Werewolves, which a creator named nicatnite88 created about a year ago).

My release schedule will start with Goth Galore, and will continue to release in order of EA release. After that, if you all are interested, I'd like to curate complete hider collections so users no longer have to download hiders from multiple different outdated websites that are no longer updated or supported. I'd like to make it more user-friendly.

I actually got another ask asking for the same thing! I don't really want to/have the time to list out all the cc, sooo the sims are just uploaded here instead and you can look through the files

HOWEVER. since I did not upload Lord Mole... I'll list out his CC.

the pants are a recolor of some gp09 pants (star wars pack) and the gloves are mine (i have no promises on the quality of them!!), both of which you can find here for convenience.

keep in mind that i had to do the most editing to the cc I used for him (the UV maps for the items conflicted each other a LOT), so if you use all of this cc you may not get the results that I did.

Also, Ava's hair is a personal edit made by madraynesims of this hair (Hunter v2) from AxA 2020.

FYI: Preferences with custom categories after patch 1.108 must be added to a common list shared with modders just like the venue list. Therefore, chingyu_ExtraCharacteristics from Sim Characteristics Overhaul and chingyu_addon_HolidayPreferences from Holiday Tradition Override are unaffected by the patch because they are not in a custom category.

I'm going to update them as soon as possible. 💪 So many of the tunings in these two mods were edited so I have to re-do the mods.

I tagged some mods as required updates for adding compatibilities to traits/ skills/ minor features of the new pack on my spreadsheet but they are safe to be used in the game. My other mods and traits are compatible with the current patch. 

After fixing the rest of the broken mods, I will playtest with the pack more to see what extra features I can add to my mods with the new attraction system.

I was feeling a bit of a Scifi kick recently, and was struggling to find some ACTUAL PROPER full scifi armor that wasn’t just the One Set that everyone else uses, so I decided  to take matters into my own hands and make some quick mesh edits of the DJ helmet from Get Together and the Storm Trooper Armor respectively. I ended up making like, seven helmet variations total, and they each have 21 swatches to choose from, including a Camo and Damaged variations (with BLOOD SPATTER!) SO have fun with that!

Please feel free to edit/recolor/recategorize this CC, especially since these are EA meshes, however you want, but please credit/link back with whatever CC you make with them, and as always, DO NOT reupload on pay sites, these are meant to be FREE for ALL to enjoy!
