ok so

He has five million pillows bc he tends to hug stuff when he sleeps and he scared the shit outta his pearl one time when she went to wake him up bc his lizard brain thought: "mmmh, Sir bearington" and yoinked her.

He has a little bit of trouble with walking barefoot on dirt, not because he dislikes it, but because it always makes stuff grow under his feet.

He likes his tailor a lot because Sillimanite understood his disdain for puffy sleeves and pompous frills (He is no jester and he hates what his mother wore), plus she makes the hole for his gems in his clothes as unassuming as posible (he is not so fond of the way his outfits have to work around it)

His extraction chamber (The place where Diamond liquid is sucked into to later put into injectors, like Yellow's Sauna or Blue's pool) is a natural looking grotto with tiny waterfalls and plants from his colonies.

He waxes. EVERYTHING. Because the feel of the material his clothes are made of against any hair is a sensory nightmare.

He has a lot of golden jewelery he wears on different ocasions.

His tailor is also his barber.

Grian: That's the question... Jimmy come here.

Jimmy: Uh...oh...sure?

*Grian grabs Jimmy's hands and observes them closely*

Mumbo: So?

Grian: I have a theory. Kind of.

Scott: The floor is yours Grian.

Grian: So. These gems were made entirely so you could exist in this universe, that was why I made them.

Tango: ... And?

Grian: So. My theory is that at some point something happened, maybe there was too much uh "juice" in the injectors, that caused the formation of two separate and possibily weaker gems instead of one. So when they emerged they were too separate to be a single gem but were also both supposed to hold Jimmy's conciousness at the same time.

Mumbo: So they fused immediately.

Grian: Yes.

*crawls out of the depth of school hell* I come with some planets for killing butterflies. Krishna, Metheta and Metreunope (more to come I promise)

Let's start with Toads planet and some facts, Krisnus

• Krisnus is located in the buttetflie galaxy and and that for good reason

• it's known for it's gems and crystal that get exported to other planets but also it's butterfly rich animals and the trains of getting you everywhere but can also be used for cruises

• in the sort of center is the train hub. This is also where the landing pads are. And it is pretty big you can even see it on the view like this.

• there are some spots that are quiet big. This are at least for now biggest places were a certain disaster happened in which a civilisation came to an end

•on the opposite side is actually and island that is like time stayed at the autumn season. And surprisingly there had never been a disaster ever!

Next up is Metheta, home planet of Alimei, Jamcorn and Jessicorn

• Metheta is often known as the flower planet not only due to the export of flowers but also certain islands

•It has a few kingdoms it's biggest is in the middle and is the one the royal siblings are from

• there are also other horse types like centaurs and Kelpies for example however they do not have the best opinion of the middle horses due to some history!

• the big dark spots is actually where once forest and flowers were. Due to the history the Alicorn royals and Kelpies came to the agreement that for the horses crimes, the Kelpies get the lavender forest in exchange! As compensation!

• the colder places actually are home to plants that only grow there in those spots. That's why they are extra hard to export!

And last but not least Metreunope, Alices home

• Metreunope is inhabitated by organic and artificial species

• the big injector was part of the reason the planet almost fell apart and for more abdroids

• the government on Metreunope was shit to the point everyone could almost do what they wanted but it's gotten better

•the androids actually build the case for the core to not get out and keep giving the energy to the planet even if broken apart

• all over the planet, energy from the core and the water flows through that you can see them. The water is not harmful at all! The core energy more tho!

Flowery Forests Forever

These are Hallowed Hessonite (left), Corona Sapphire (far left), Host Ruby, (middle left), Cherubic Pearl (middle) and Arch Aventurine (right), the Mystical Gems and the four components of Angelical Alexandrite.

Did Arch Aventurine and Cherubic Pearl last time, so time for Corona Sapphire and Host Ruby's permafusion, Hallowed Hessonite!

Yellow Ruby (looking like a yellow sapphire but with a ruby's gem cut) and Red Sapphire (looking like a regular ruby but with a sapphire's gem cut) were born mismatched when two injector veins accidentally crossed due to tectonic interference. Unfortunately, the two were forced to have their cuts “corrected”, aka shaved, by Era 2 kindergarten supervisors who couldn’t afford to make a new sapphire. Yellow Ruby was dubbed “Corona Sapphire”, and Red Sapphire was renamed to “Host Ruby”, to hide their ‘defectiveness’. So Corona, with the mentality of a ruby, was a bit too belligerent and ill-mannered of a sapphire, with no ability to read the future, but with the makings of a good fighter. Host, with the mentality of a sapphire, was averse to battle and a bit too mild mannered, but with the power to see the future. In panic, the supervisors forced Host’s assignment to Corona, so that Host could tell Corona the future, and Corona could take credit. This drove a deep divide between the two gems.

However, the two were at some point assigned to a new colony which was facing rebellion from the native inhabitants. In order to calm the nerves of a pair of ‘concerned’ Pyrope colony rulers next door, Corona Sapphire was made to ‘predict’ the future. However, Host Ruby foresaw that their base would be suddenly attacked by rebels, and that Corona Sapphire would be shattered in the attack, among others… and chose to lie about it, planning on using it as a diversion to escape and finally be free of her shackles to Corona.

However, shortly before the colony was attacked, Corona unexpectedly pulled Host aside and revealed to her that she hated the way their dynamic was, as the two didn’t ask to be made and then forced into these roles; the polite mannerisms of a Sapphire were stifling to her, and she revealed that she’d overheard her superiors talking about how the two of them should just be shattered anyway. Thusly, Corona asked if Host would just like to leave everything behind and start over again. Host was shocked, having not predicted this, but couldn’t answer before the colony was attacked. But just as one of the rebels was about to shatter Corona, Host ran in to save Corona, and the two suddenly fused, becoming the gem who would later call herself Hallowed Hessonite. Not even noticing their fusion right away, the two escaped into the forests of this rebel planet, only realizing they’d fused when they finally had a moment of safety. Now the two of them were a new gem, not a Sapphire or a Ruby, and they realized how freeing it was to discover a new identity free of the labels forced on them.

Eventually, they met up with Arch Aventurine and Cherubic Ruby, and while the latter two were hesitant to accept the fusion into their pair, their hearts melted when they heard of how Hallowed Hessonite’s components had been treated since they emerged, and the four became the tight knit Mystical Gems.

Hallowed is a bit of a know-it-all, but is much more confident and comfortable 'in their skin' now that they've shed the labels forced on them. They like to leap into action and adventure, but there's very little to be found if they want to stay out of the attention of the locals.

The sun sank into the horizon of Beach City, tinting the sky with shades of pink, but today, the usual tranquility was disrupted by the echoes of Spinel's invasion. You had spent the afternoon with Connie, ensuring the safety of every resident. However, your thoughts, your own heart, remained with Steven. The concern for him was palpable, a tight knot in your chest that could only be undone with his safety assured. Your bond with Steven was something special, deep, a thread of connection.

With the town's inhabitants out of danger, you communicated your plan to Connie. "I need to go to Steven." She looked at you with wide, worried eyes. "It's dangerous out there. Steven can handle it." But your determination was firm, driven by loyalty. "I can't abandon him now," you declared. After a moment of hesitation, Connie nodded, understanding the depth of your connection. The Gems, after a more sincere plea from you, agreed, though their concern was evident. They recognized that your heart would find no peace until Steven was safe, reflecting the empathy and care he always showed.

Lion made a portal and you climbed into the injector; the wind carried the scent of salt and battle. Spinel had Steven by the neck, a sight that froze you for a moment, but the glow of Steven's returning powers spurred you into action. Without further delay, you charged, pushing Spinel aside, showing a determination akin to Steven's when it came to protecting those you loved.

Steven's face lit up with relief upon seeing you, enveloping you in a tight embrace. "You shouldn't be here," he whispered, his voice a mix of concern and relief, "it's too dangerous." However, his words betrayed his relief. It was this very empathy, his endless care for others even amidst peril, that defined him. Before you could fully part, Spinel retaliated, but Steven's quick thinking encased you both in a protective bubble, showcasing not only his resolve to protect himself but also his unwavering commitment to those he cherished.

The battle that followed was swift, intense, a dance of light and shadow. You stood ready, but Steven, with his innate compassion, reached out to Spinel, reminding her of the potential for belonging, for family. His optimism, his ability to see beyond the conflict, highlighted his true strength. posting this unfinished wip of a ninjago x steven universe infection type comic i made back in around april

no idea if i'll finish it but i was scrolling through ibispaint and decided why not post

(ignore the fuckass car from page 2 lmao i have no idea how cars work anymore and to draw them is the bane of my existance)

the basic concept was that the diamonds were experimenting with a new technology to create gems; they created a species of gem that i called a gembug, but the name probably won't be official.

the gembugs were sent down through injectors and essentially what they do is they come in contact with something living, fusing with it and turning it into a gem

this happens to zane first and his gem replaces his power core. he is still titanium

for the others' gem types they are as follows:

nya is aquamarine

lloyd is malachite

pixal is moonstone

cole is a black sapphire but he also has some orange on him (the pattern is similar to the uncorrupted gems like jasper)

kai is unakite

jay is sodalite

wu is onyx

garmadon is black charoite

skylor is amber because of course

harumi is jade

dareth is boulder opal

(loosely written but becomes more structured near the end)

as for how the story plays out, this is set just before seabound. after zane gets hit by the bug, kai calls the team to warn them to stay away from the injectors. nya answers the call, asking if zane's alright. lloyd says to regroup at base. cole and jay don't pick up.

he and zane return to the monastery. kai has to keep away from physical contact as it's likely infectious (not sure for certain but something along those lines. maybe it's akin to a beacon, you touch an infected and it summons a horde of gembugs)

as for the reason why jay and cole didn't pick up, they were investigating an injector that was too far out for comms. cole ends up infected first and then makes contact with jay, infecting him too. they end up sending pixal closer to their location and in range of comms. she tells them to return to the monastery and look out for the injectors.

when everyone's returned, zane is not doing good. cole and jay seem slightly worse too. i think they put zane in a different room since he's further down the infection, just one of their villain holding cells. pixal is running scans on all of them. while she does this, jay accidentally bumps into nya. nya brushes it off, she'll be fiiiiine.

cole and jay get similarly put into holding cells, pixal investigates further. there isn't really anything obvious except she's detecting faint remnants of gemstones in each of them. as if their flesh is turning into rocks. she doesn't detect anything in zane as he's made out of the same element as his gem

while this happens, lloyd sends out a message to the commissioner to keep people away from the injectors and to isolate if infected, avoiding contact with others.

suddenly zane poofs and the gang freak out. the gem is bubbled and disappears. (the diamonds are about to infodump to patient 0 and the others will likely join them up there soon)

cole poofs now too and jay is panicking. there is a tic tic tic sound as they spot one of the gembugs just kinda standing there.

then all hell breaks loose. there's like a hundred of them that burst through one of the doors. jay stays behind to delay them, insisting he'll be ok as he's already infected anyways. he does hold them off but eventually ends up poofing too.

the 4 (pix, kai, nya and lloyd) run to their escape, using the land bounty to drive away from the monastery. they drive past the city but see people getting infected in droves. they pick up a few survivors along the way.

they drive off to the sea of sands to try to get to the junkyard. the bugs are quite far away. nya feels guilty and admits she may be what's luring the gembugs to them, due to making contact with jay before and not telling anybody.

they all say their goodbyes (contactless of course) and nya leaves the land bounty, the group driving away as she walks closer to the bugs scampering about in the far distance.

a walk. a jog. a sprint. nya summons water around her, forming into a giant tornado of spinjitzu. the gembugs being tossed around in a final blow from the elemental master of water. the tornado carries itself into a completely different direction than the junkyard or the city.

the team see it move over the horizon before it disappears.

they eventually arrive to the junkyard, setting up a camp. ed and edna are uninfected and happy to help. they are sure this spot is safe due to nobody else being infected and it being too far out for the bugs to find any time soon.

meanwhile at homeworld:

zane wakes up confused, looking around him to see 3 giant colour-coded women along with 3 smaller people too. they each have a gem somewhere on their body which is interesting. "oh look, it's a titanium! those are rare" says the blue one

the yellow one looks uninterested but watches anyways. the white one smiles before speaking.

she essentially just infodumps this whole operation they have going here and how the gems work. blue notices psychically that 2 more of them have turned into gems, teleporting them with a bubble. patients 0, 1 and 2. the first 3 to become infected.

they take a little while to form, cole coming out first, followed by jay. both are shocked by their new appearances and how they each only have 1 eye. cole having a large one in the middle of his face while jay has one of them replaced by his gem, similar to an eyepatch.

"a black sapphire and a sodalite! welcome welcome!"

"is that sapphire off colour?" yellow whispers

cole puts a hand on zane's shoulder. "zane! what the fuc-"

he covers his mouth with a hand. "excuse us for a minute"

zane turns them both around and pulls jay out of his space fanboying and into the conversation as well. "don't freak out, but i believe these three entities are equivalent to the first spinjitzu master. the species is some kind of sentient gemstone? these three are diamonds. they were the ones to send down the injectors. as an 'experiment'"

"experiment?" jay questions. "is that why i'm blue? why cole has one eye?"

"i believe so. they were trying to figure out how to create more of their species organically."

"well i'd say it sure worked." cole sighs. "i miss having depth perception already."

and then from that point i'm not really sure what happens

i guess gems and ninjago inhabitants coexist? i mean yes, the new gems will be kinda annoyed about losing their old forms but the gem forms are definitely stronger and more durable.

since the diamonds rule over all gems there would definitely be some independence battles since they were turned unwillingly. a trial maybe

those from ninjago would win the trial and be able to live regularly (albeit with new gem forms and gem tech)

i think earth and the crystal gems would help out too and then era 3 would begin

had this idea for a corrupted Peridot for a while and got around to drawing it. Since Peridots are kindergarteners i figured making their corrupted forms resemble injectors would be neat, i think they could make drones like Centipeetle and the Bixibite. Also her arms are like electromagnetic manipulation playing off how Peridots had slight ferrokinetic abilities (which likely were more pronounced in era 1 gems) (also i wanted an excuse to use that brush cause it looked funky) idk i like her, its not very steven universe style but uhhh counterpoint i like drawing fucked up wretched teeth

Continuing on from this- we're meant to infer that the reason the era 2 gems are inferior is because of the fact that Pink isn't there to contribute to the gem making process. I have a few points about that.

The powers of the diamonds presumably contributes directly to their input in the process, White gives them purpose, Blue emotional (in)stability, Yellow control over their form and Pink? My instinct is to say that she does the legwork in the formation of the gem itself. Without her gems loose most of the abilities that era 1 gems think nothing of. We see pebbles everywhere but we only see Steven actually create one, and its Pink's vanity that has the setup for them. It really seems like a parallel to body, mind, heart and soul.

So, if Pink is so vital and era 2 gems suffer from her lack then why did the diamonds leave injectors on earth that are presumably some of the last sources for truely powerful gems? Like they're leaving them to be destroyed by the cluster?

I don't actually remember if its said anywhere in the show that Pink is the youngest diamond or if that's just been taken on because of the way she behaved and was treated but assuming she is, and in the same vein blue and yellow are also younger than White, then how come there's still only an era 1? Did White not begin her empire until after Blue, Yellow and Pink? I wonder if creating such powerful gems as the other diamonds did take something from White. If she imbued parts her control over gems into each diamond?

Steven Universe x Danny Phantom Crossover

Dannys parents instead of hunting ghosts are studying otherworldly technology. They find a kindergarten and dismantle an injector. They also try to study the warp pads.

Not entirely sure how it’ll work yet, but the thought is is that they make a machine and Danny accidentally turns it on, and it was similar if not nearly the same as an injector. But instead of injecting deep into the earth, it hits Dannys flesh and it kills him/revives him. And he has a gem now.

He’ll still be a sort of halfa like Steven, and taking into account how beat up Steven is when the gem is taken from him, I don’t think either of them would survive long without their gems.

I chose turquoise for his gem because it is green like ectoplasm and it has some symbolism for death in both Egyptian and some native cultures. So it seemed appropriate.

If he were to go to homeworld he’s techinically be in blue diamonds court. Though there isn’t a turquoise gem there. So I’m thinking that he’s the only one. I’m not sure what his role in gem society would be but turquoise also has symbolism or protection. So maybe he’d be like ruby as a fighter/bodyguard.

The only weapon I’ve seen with a hand gem is a glove so that’s what i gave him. It also suits his fighting style of just hitting people

Alright! I had a lot of fun figuring Evil X out, probably bc of him being one of my blorbos.

Evil X has a lot of 'theories' surrounding what he is and I've seen some variations. He and X are siblings, they're X's clone, he's a glitched version of X, they're X's hels. etc etc. And so trying to figure out what to do for him.

While I already borrowed sweetest-honeybee's design in the second part of my Zed/WM gemcyt post, I didn't want to do like that and make him corrupted. I know the gemcyt stuff seems to play with corruption a little looser, but it still didn't feel right. So, I went researching and found a fun lil mix that seems to fit well.

First off, the closest thing you can get to a glitch in terms of gems is being off-color. I mean technically you glitch when you're cracked, but we're not doing that. Anyway, off-color gem Evil X, which is why there's the gem comparison. Next, the clone/hels part. I don't mention it on the sheet, but specifically, I think of this Evil X as a sort of gem experiment. No wait wait don't leave let me explain!

We saw that there were gem experiments of some type on the show. They were more fusion experiments using shards, and were experiments for the cluster (which technically don't work since they only emerged slightly before the cluster so there was no telling if they worked and if then the cluster would work). Also on the show, we're told that there's a resource problem on Homeworld which results in 'Era 2' gems like Peridot, who don't have all the abilities a normal gem would have. Also also in the show, when Steven and Lars are with the off colors on Homeworld, we see the kindergartens there. And while there are normal holes, there are also holes that overlap, as well as holes that look like there's been a chunk scooped out of them.

The analogy I could think of was like when you're making cookies. you roll out the dough, get a cookie cutter, and get all the cookies, but assuming you weren't using a square cutter, there's extra dough left between the cuts. Instead of just leaving it, usually you reroll it to cut out more cookies. Well, why can't Homeworld try the same?

Evil X is meant to be an experiment on if Homeworld can successfully do that. They scooped out extra rock from a kindergarten or two, compressed it into a new boulder, then used an injector on it. Eventually after a long while, out came Evil X. And that whole thing also leans into the clone thing because I imagine some of the scooped rock was from part of where Xisuma emerged.

Anyway, with all that, I originally thought about making Evil X look similar to Amethyst's pseudo buff reformation, but trying to draw that was a mess. I meant to go back and make him look a little more lopsided, but you'll have to just imagine that. Whoops. At the very least he has the funky stripes. I imagine that's probably from where the different rock pieces met or something, and since it wasn't as solid as regular rock, he was like that.

Coloring him was tough, but eventually I just copied Xisuma over, inverted his colors, and then shifted the hue to be more red. I considered making the green parts more black, but it didn't fit, so they're just more purpley to show that Xisuma connection or smthn.

Speaking of his gem, I show what I picture a normal Cuprite to look like. Meanwhile Evil X's is a bit misshapen, as well as that darker area that mimics the one reference I had. specifically that darker bit is chrysocolla, but he's still just cuprite.

Instead of a mask, he's just got a visor similar to what we've seen with Peridot and Doc and technically those zircons. And also instead of a mask he has those... blade things. Look, the best name i could find for them were blade gauntlets, but they look more like sword brass knuckles to me so I don't know. Also yes they are based on a weapon a digimon had, what of it?

And then, he is hella amethyst coded. Popped out of his rock thing in a chamber under the kindergarten (similar to the other experiments in the show) with no one around. He was an experiment and uses rock from different gems and is off color, so he doesn't know what he's for. Doesn't even know what diamond he should belong to, so that's why he's got a grey one on his chest. And there's a lot of little things and ideas for him that are inspired by Amethyst's characterization on the show, to the point I was planning a screenshot redraw even before I had his and Xisuma's designs even close to finalized.

I also have a fic I'm working on with him and Gemsuma, as well as that quick Jevin design plus a few teeny tiny references to other people's gem designs. If my adhd allows it, i should post that 1 shot fic tomorrow.

I think the main restrictions that the crewniverse had for SU were related to the LGBT+ themes but i don't recall them getting toned down in other ways? Then again, CN as network let its shows get away with a lot of things

no definitely, rebecca sugar even said they had an amicable relationship with S&P, a department notorious for various restrictions in other networks. instead network/executive changes were… odd? in other ways, like adding the injector or insisting spinel be killed.

the only instance i know where they seemed to want to tone something down was in the second crystal gems fight against spinel. in the pitch you can see miki brewster’s original version, but the final product/true kind of love animatic commentary got modified, apparently because the crystal gems were “beating up on spinel too hard”. since the change made it all the way to the pitch to the execs, we can assume it was a note from them and not the crew. in general, miki said he got a lot of notes for being too harsh.

"Behold! One of the new Peridots is emerging! Facet 34RP cut 6UZ." said the elder Peridot.

An era-2 Peridot leaned over the older Peridot's shoulder to look at the viewscreen.

"My new injector should make much more use out of Gymnome's natural resources than previous designs did," she said. "Oohhh this will finally make up for how pitiful that last batch turned out." The era-2 Peridots shared a look.

"My apologies. I mean, it will finally make up for how... reliant on limb enhancers that last batch was," the elder Peridot said.

"See! Youuuu doubted me, 2F5L," elder Peridot said. "Hah!"

The era-two Peridots stared in amazement. But then things changed for the worse...

The peridots stared in horror. "Uhhh what's happening?" said one of the younger gems.

"This is bad, oh this is bad," 2F5L said. "She doesn't even look cracked!"

"Wait! It's clearing up! It's just a minor myoclonic jerk of the diaphram!" the elder Peridot said.

"Oh! Wow. She looks even taller than you," Peridot 2F5L said. "What was I thinking doubting the great 9XLR!"

"Get the destabilizers. We've got to abort the gems before Hessonite grabs the aerodynamic crossflow about this," the elder Peridot said.

"Ohohooh Stars! If I'd known the experiment would go this wrong I'd have invited more era-2 gems to see the show!" 2F5L said.

"Have some respect!" another era-2 gem said. "No one wants to have to torch an entire kindergarten."

2F5L was still laughing, but wiped a tear from her eye with her finger enhancement.

"Oh! So the runts aren't good enough for ya? Well how about a puddle!" 2F5L said. "All of that work, gone to waste because SOMEONE had to be a perfectionist!"

"That's what we are. We're peridots. We strive for perfection, because someone has to." the elder Peridot said. She turned back to the unstable gem.

"Poof this one and bubble her. We'll try to find a way to stabilize her and Yellow Diamond doesn't have to know," elder Peridot said.

The younger Peridots grimaced.

"Right! I have to do everything myself around here," the elder Peridot said, "As soon as I poof 6UZ, abort the other gems, and warn the other Kindergartens." She grabbed a destabilizer fork and headed up the funicular to the surface.

"So what happened to 6UZ?" Steven said, sitting cross-legged in front of Peridot.

"I don't know," Peridot said, "The kindergarteners were all sent to other planets after that. If they ever did stabilize her physical form, I guess she probably became a propulsion technician, like she was supposed to be. Gymnome was supposed to be a shipyard planet."

"Wow! A Rocket scientist gem!"

"Well, gems don't exactly use rockets these days, Steven," Pearl said.

Sphalerites, mechanics for mining equipment, their fingers shapeshift and have extra joints to serve as wrenches, screwdrivers and other tools. Swiss army hands basically

Gahnite, entertainers for low-level gems to keep their spirits up while doing their duties.They can rotate their articulated body at points like their heads and waists, as well as stretch their rubbery arms and legs

The Cymophanes (or cats eyes); a team of planet surveyors under the guidance of their manager that go out and assess the viability of potential colonies. This particular team had a mission go terribly wrong, resulting in the loss of one of their members on a distant and wild planet. She was eventually replaced with an era 2 gem who’s serious nature made her the team captain. The lost gem found an alien species on the planet that she eventually integrated into.

Cymophanes in general tend to be very playful and free spirited gems, so they need managers that watch them closely and make sure they stay on task. Powers include agility and stealth, super hearing and smell, night vision, their claws and fangs, and their prolonged shape shifting ability that allows them to blend into alien species and observe them

Chrysoberyl, the manager of the Cymophanes. A chrysoberyl is generally judged by how well-disciplined and effective the Cymophane teams they are in charge of are. They all have special ray gun weapons with different settings to allow them to carry out scouting missions: attack mode, shield mode, scan mode, bubble mode

They made up the Great Diamond Authority, where each one ruled a part of the gem empire and ran a certain aspect of its society. The oldest three were Tawny Diamond, Black Diamond, amd Blue Diamond, who were also the largest of the Diamonds... And then there were the two youngest, and smallest, Diamonds, Brown Diamond and Yellow Diamond...

Tawny Diamond was in charge of punishments and one half of the gem army, focusing on strong soldiers and ruthless warriors, and would collect the shards of the gems he had shattered as trophies or for experiments...

Black Diamond was in charge of rewards and one half of the gem army, focusing on strategists and common soldiers, and was known to have liked colonies closer to Homeworld...

Blue Diamond was in charge of laws and experiments, helping build up Homeworld and make many weapons, rejuvenators, and injectors for the armies, as well as run courts on Homeworld for disputes among gems...

Brown Diamond was in charge of reports and fleets, finding new galaxies and planets to conquer, and sending soldiers amd scouts to clear out any organic life forms, and had a liking for water planets...

And Yellow Diamond was in charge of rewards and celebrations on Homeworld, being known to make extravagant gifts and throw lavish balls, and had a knack for making other gems feel important and special...

When Yellow Diamond finally received their first colony, a resource rich planet called Earth, it was the beginning of the end of Era One. With Earth came a rebellion, a gem who called themselves Citrine, who defied Homeworld and sought to rip Earth from Yellow Diamond's clutches-! Yet Yellow Diamond put up a fight, even calling the other Diamonds of this dastardly gem. But they did not care, and told the youngest Diamond to finish what they started.

It would be the worst mistake they ever made, and it would cost all of Homeworld dearly...

For the horrible Citrine... SHATTERED Yellow Diamond!

It was the worst event the Empire had ever known. The armies of Yellow Diamond wept, their servants poofed in despair and pain, their loyal advisors and guards could only scream as the remains lay in the dirt, bright yellow and faded, like the dying embers of a star...

And the Diamonds?

They, for once, regretted their choices. If only they had been there to advise their fellow Diamond... if only they had sent their own soldiers... if only they had told them how strong strong were... if only they'd been kinder, more caring to them...

If only they'd actually cared.

In their grief-filled rage, the called back all of Homeworld's forces from Earth, and swore vengeance on Citrine! With their combined powers, they blasted the planet, sealing its fate, and leaving a curse buried under the surface... One day, they hoped it would destroy the defective Citrine, and bring justice for Yellow Diamond...

And thus began Era Two, an era filled with mourning, new laws, and the worst punishments the empire wouod face, without the bright Yellow Diamond to help guide them...

It could be from maybe Kurt or Kitty, who I imagine were Reader's two friends back on Homeworld in their court, and who miss Diamond Creed Reader dearly... Or it could be from another gem from a different court entirely... Or even from Yellow or Gold Pearl Creed Reader...)
