When it comes to celebrating the birth of a baby, few gifts are as timeless and cherished as personalised baby bangles. These exquisite pieces of jewellery not only add a touch of elegance to your baby's wardrobe but also serve as a lasting memento that can be treasured for years to come. Whether you're considering a baby gold bracelet or a baby's gold bangle, these items offer a blend of tradition, beauty, and personalisation that make them truly special.
Tumblr media
The Charm of Personalised Baby Bangles
A Unique and Personal Touch
Personalised baby bangles are a wonderful way to create a unique keepsake for your child. Engraving your baby’s name, birth date, or a special message on the bangle makes it a one-of-a-kind piece that holds significant sentimental value. This personal touch ensures that the bangle is more than just a piece of jewellery; it becomes a cherished heirloom that tells a story and celebrates a momentous occasion.
High-Quality Craftsmanship
When selecting a personalised baby bangle, it's important to choose one that is crafted with high-quality materials. Baby gold bracelets and gold bangles are particularly popular due to their durability and timeless appeal. Gold is not only beautiful but also hypoallergenic, making it a safe choice for your baby’s delicate skin. Opt for bangles made from 9ct or 18ct gold to ensure longevity and a stunning finish.
A Timeless Tradition
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gold jewellery has been a part of many cultures for centuries, often symbolising wealth, status, and good fortune. Gifting a baby gold bracelet or a baby’s gold bangle continues this tradition, welcoming the newborn with a symbol of prosperity and love. These bangles are often passed down through generations, becoming a treasured family heirloom.
Choosing the Perfect Baby Gold Bracelet
Design and Style
When choosing a baby gold bracelet, consider the design and style that will best suit your child. From simple and classic designs to more elaborate and intricate patterns, there is a wide range of options available. Some popular styles include:
Plain Gold Bangles: Simple and elegant, these bangles are perfect for everyday wear and can easily match any outfit.
Engraved Bangles: Personalised with your baby’s name or a special message, these bangles add a personal touch that makes them truly unique.
Charm Bangles: Featuring small charms such as hearts, stars, or animals, these bangles add a playful element to your baby’s jewellery collection.
Sizing and Safety
Ensuring the bangle fits comfortably is crucial. Most baby bangles are designed to be adjustable, allowing for a secure and comfortable fit as your baby grows. It's also important to check that the bangle has smooth edges and a secure clasp to prevent any discomfort or safety hazards.
The Benefits of Gifting a Baby’s Gold Bangle
A Lasting Keepsake
One of the most significant benefits of gifting a baby gold bracelet or bangle is that it serves as a lasting keepsake. Unlike clothes or toys that are quickly outgrown or discarded, a gold bangle can be kept and cherished for a lifetime. As your child grows, the bangle can serve as a beautiful reminder of their early years and the love and care that surrounded them.
A Versatile Gift
Personalised baby bangles are suitable for various occasions, making them a versatile gift choice. Whether it’s for a christening, a birthday, or a baby shower, a gold bangle is a thoughtful and meaningful present that will be appreciated by both the parents and the child.
Enhancing Family Traditions
Gifting a baby’s gold bangle can also help to enhance family traditions. Many families have a tradition of passing down jewellery from one generation to the next. By giving a personalised baby bangle, you are not only creating a new family heirloom but also contributing to the continuation of a cherished family tradition.
Where to Buy Personalised Baby Bangles
When purchasing a personalised baby bangle, it's important to choose a reputable jeweller who specialises in baby jewellery. Look for jewellers who offer high-quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and customisation options. Online retailers and local jewellers both offer a variety of options, but be sure to read reviews and check their credentials to ensure you are making a wise investment.
Conclusion
Personalised baby bangles are more than just pieces of jewellery; they are keepsakes that carry memories, traditions, and love. Whether you choose a simple baby gold bracelet or an intricately designed baby’s gold bangle, this timeless gift is sure to be treasured for years to come. As you celebrate the arrival of a new baby, consider the lasting impact of a personalised bangle—a beautiful token of affection that will be cherished forever.

First Concert
Summary- You and Jack take Paisley to the Eras tour, which happens to be their first concert other then watching Jack preform.
A/N- Feel free to imagine them seeing whoever you want, but this idea was sparked from seeing a TikTok about a little girl going to the Era's tour, so I choose Taylor Swift.
Tumblr media
Paisley and Olive had been to countless concerts, but they had never been to a concert that wasn’t their Dads. They had always stayed backstage, watching from the side, so you were both a little nervous about how they would react to being in the crowd, but Paisley and Olive were currently obsessed with Taylor Swift and Jack had worked with Neelam to get tickets in the VIP box. You had thought about surprising the girls, but you knew they would want to pick out their outfits, so you told them in advance.
Countless stores and trying on dresses later and Paisley picked out a gold dress with stars on it, and Olive picked out a baby pink dress with sequins. While they were looking for their dresses, they saw a long purple dress they wanted you to wear, so you did.
“Hey Daddy?” Paisley asked, her and Olive walking up to Jack who was making lunch.
“Yes?” Jack asked.
“You know how me, Olive, and Mommy are dressing up for the concert?” Paisley asked and Jack nodded.
“I do.”
“You should dress up with us Daddy!” Olive said.
“Yeah, you should!” Paisley said and Jack thought for a minute.
“Let me guess, you want to pick out the outfit?” He asked and they both nodded excitedly.
“Yeah!!” Olive cheered excitedly.
“Okay, you can pick my outfit.” Jack told them and they both jumped up and down excitedly.
“What about a pink and blue cotton candy shirt?” Paisley asked.
“Like tie dye?” Jack asked, both girls called tie dye, cotton candy.
“Not tie dye, Mommy will show you what we found.” Paisley said.
“Oh you already have an outfit in mind?” Jack teased and Olive giggled, covering her mouth.
“Maybe.” Olive said and Paisley rolled her eyes at her sister.
“You weren’t supposed to tell him.” Paisley said underneath her breath, making Jack laugh.
Later that day, the girls showed Jack the shirt you three picked out, and even though Hayden wasn’t going to the concert with the four of you since he was still a newborn, he would be spending a few hours with Jack’s parents, but you bought him a shirt that matched Jack’s for pictures.
You were all excited for the concert, in the weeks leading up to it, both girls couldn’t stop talking about it. Her music was playing non-stop in your house, the girls made countless friendship bracelets with your and Jack’s help, even involving Urban in the bracelet making process.
Jack wanted to surprise you, Paisley, and Olive so a couple days before the concert he made an appointment for you three to get your nails done, which turned into you having a girl’s day with Paisley and Olive while Jack and Hayden had a boy’s day.
The morning of the concert, the girls were begging you and Jack to let them wear makeup, which to them really just meant they wanted to wear sparkly eyeshadow, so you let them. You chose gold for Paisley and pink for Olive to match their dresses. Paisley wanted her hair in a bun, so Jack did Paisley’s hair while you curled Olive’s because that’s what she wanted.
You dropped Hayden off at Jack’s parents house, before Jack drove to the stadium. As soon as you were close enough to see the stadium, both Paisley and Olive started practically jumping up and down in their seats.
“Mommy! Daddy! Look!!” Paisley yelled excitedly, pointing out her window where she saw a picture of Taylor Swift on the LED screen outside the stadium.
“I’m so excited!” Olive said, clapping her hands.
Once Jack parked around the back of the stadium, the four of you were led to the VIP box, where the girls traded friendship bracelets with everyone who came up to say hi to Jack, fans giving you and Jack friendship bracelets also, Paisley and Olive even trading each other so they could get the bracelets they wanted.
“Daddy?” Olive asked Jack.
“Yes Liv?” Jack looked down at her.
“How come this many people don’t come to watch you sing?” She asked as the crowd filled the stadium.
“Um, because she’s been singing longer than me and she has more fans.” Jack tried to explain in a way that would make sense to her.
“Oh, okay.” Olive shrugged.
“It’s really your own kids who humble you the most.” Jack joked to you, making you laugh.
“I agree, don’t want you to get too big of a head over there.” You teased, Jack jokingly pushing your shoulder before pulling you in to kiss you.
“Mommy, when does the concert start?” Paisley asked you and you checked your phone.
“About 20 minutes.” You told her and she nodded excitedly before running back to her sister.
20 minutes later and Taylor started performing, both girls cheering loudly and dancing as she sang. Both girls sang along to the lyrics as loud as they could, and even though they always listened to the clean versions of songs, you and Jack told them that tonight was an exception and they could sing along to the curse words.
As soon as Taylor started singing “Look What You Made Me Do” Olive turned to you and Jack.
“She’s playing my favorite song!!” Olive yelled over the music before continuing to sing along.
You and Jack were surprised that both girls had just as much energy towards the end of the concert that they did at the beginning. You expected at least one of the two to have fallen asleep since their bedtime was hours ago.
Taylor started playing “Bejeweled” and Paisley started jumping up and down. Bejeweled was her favorite song.
“Daddy! She’s playing Bejeweled!! Dance with me!” Paisley said and Jack nodded, dancing with Paisley you and Olive joining in.
A couple songs later and the concert was over. Olive’s exhaustion set in as she sat down.
“Daddy, can you carry me?” She asked and Jack nodded, picking Olive up before you took Paisley’s hand and you were led by security back to your car. Olive ended up falling asleep during the walk, her head laying on Jack’s shoulder with her arms wrapped loosely around his shoulders. Paisley on the other hand, was still full of energy.
“I want to sing just like Taylor Swift when I’m older.” Paisley told you and Jack as you walked to the car.
“You don’t want to perform like me anymore?” Jack asked and Paisley thought for a second.
“No. I want to wear sparkly outfits.” Paisley said and Jack laughed.
“Okay, that’s fair, you can wear all the sparkly outfits you want to.” Jack told her.
“I had so much fun, this was the best night ever. Thank you for bringing us.” Paisley told you and Jack.
“You’re welcome, we’re glad you had fun, we had a lot of fun with you too.” You smiled at Paisley.
“I miss Hayden though.” Paisley said.
“We all miss Hayden, but we’re going to pick him up and then we can see him, but we have to go to bed when we get home okay?” Jack reminded her and she nodded.
“Can we sleep in your room tonight?” Paisley asked and Jack looked at you, you nodded.
“Of course.” Jack told her, gently placing Olive in her car seat while you and Paisley got into the car.
What you had kept a secret from the girls, is that they would be seeing Taylor again the next night, except tomorrow, they would be meeting her before the show.

Do you have any duncney as parents of a new born headcannons?
I’ve had Duncney parent HCs but let’s see what I can think of for a newborn specifically 😇
Courtney has a schedule planned out when she and the baby come home. Clearly it doesn’t go as planned as you simply cannot plan for this 😅
Duncan is in charge or changing diapers in the middle of the night because Courtney is in charge of feeding. It evens it out somewhat.
You will always find parent duncney with a baby monitor in hand. Sometimes you’ll find one of them passed out with the monitor to their ear.
Courtney tears up when their baby has to get their shots. Duncan would be lying if he said it also didn’t get to him— he also had to restrain from punching the doctor.
Courtney refuses to be in the passenger seat for a while. You will always find her in the back with the baby.
Duncan never gets used to Courtney pumping lmao
Duncan definitely steals diapers and wipes from the hospital.
Courtney’s parents buy the baby a gold bracelet with the baby’s name on it.
Duncan’s mom is offering to babysit like every single day.
Duncan refuses to miss out on any appointments for the baby.

DWC August 2024: Melee
Tumblr media
It was well past noon when Hesterlynn finally stirred.
Her head throbbed with each sluggish beat of her heart.  She clutched the icy weight in her chest.
Where am I?
A bed, but not her own.  The room was spartan, almost clinical, devoid of any decoration save an ornate vanity by the window, with curtains drawn shut against the red dusted sunlight of the Eastern Plaguelands.  A silver tray held a cold tea service and a vase bursting with colorful wildflowers: violet dreamfoil, white peacebloom, crimson roses–
Zelion’s instructions had been simple: “You are to offer your assistance to Lord Bloodrose in whatever manner he sees fit.”
Hester willed the Light to the awful ache in her skull, and caught sight of her chipped manicure. Beneath her nails was dirt and shredded skin.
She lifted the dull linen sheets. The fabric of her dress was rife with wood splintered runs and ruined by dirt.  A gorey spill of dried blood ran the length of her ruched bodice.
It was not her own.
She should have never gone to that party.
Lord Bloodrose had dressed outlandishly in ruffles, cogwheels and his workshop goggles.  He requested she wear “something poofy”.  She obliged in the form of a tea-length, robin’s egg frock.  The billowing skirt was made of layer upon layer of airy chiffon.  A demure neckline shrouded her secrets but exposed her pronounced collar bones and milk white shoulders.
The confessor stumbled from the bed, tripping over her ivory shoes.  The right one was missing its low heel; the left had a rusty smudge over the toes.
She lurched to the vanity, gripping the edge of the woodwork as the world swam.
Her reflection was haggard but whole.  Bruises circled both biceps and wrists like bracelets.  Impossibly long blonde hair, free from its styled ties, fell in haggish curls peppered with wilted white flowers and matted with blood.  Dark circles framed the candlelight glow of her eyes, dimmed and glassy.
She looked monstrous.
The cleric swallowed hard and tore off the damaged dress.
The diamond cut crystal embedded in her chest still slept in its nest of black veins.
Hester was quick to shroud the Mournstone in a cozy sweater; one long and shapeless on her willowy body that fell just above the knees.  As she slid into a borrowed pair of house slippers, she inspected the punctures and tears in her ill-fated dress until her hand fell on a disc of cool metal.
"... As a bit of a thank-you for attending this lousy party with me."
A brooch forged in bronze and plated by gold.  The detailed cast depicted a bouquet of flowers, unpainted, but remarkably detailed-- Plaguebloom, Arthas' Tears and dreamfoil, all with a backdrop of Sungrass stalks. On close inspection, each squared blossom spun as a cogwheel, parting the bouquet like a curtain to reveal a greater detail beneath.
"It's just what I thought of when I thought of you… I hope you like it."
To think that Hesterlynn Mournvalor was naught but a bouquet of pretty flowers was sure to be a mistake, or so Lord Bloodrose must have thought, for behind the bouquet was an intricate knife with a pearl handle and a blade of sharpened steel.
She pinned it to her sweater before bustling out of the bedroom and down the hall on legs still wobbly as a newborn fawn’s.
A saw hummed behind the double doors of his workshop.  Hester sucked a sharp and desperate breath before wrapping her scraped knuckles on the woodwork.
Crash! Metal rang in the air. Lord Bloodrose swore loudly, then swung wide the door.
What a mess! Him, and the workshop too!
Tool chests lay opened, gaping like baby birds. Wires hung from the ceiling, thick black and coiled like snakes hanging from a tree. A mechanosuit stood vigil in the rear, headless and tethered like an ancient effigy reclaimed by vines.
And then Lord Corwin Bloodrose--no, Cory. An ugly bruise painted the bridge of his nose shades of red and violet. A bandage bound the worst of it, acting as a stint and giving padding to the scratched glasses resting gingerly atop.
"Hester!" he greeted, boyishly bright. "Come see this!"
To be continued.

1.034 - Put the medal back, explore the room
Chie tosses the medal back into the box and closes it. No sense in carrying around someone else’s stuff. She shuffles aside several boxes, flipping them open, then closing them when the contents are boring.
As she explores the room, the contents change. From sports equipment and old report cards to pool cues, polo shirts, and old photo albums.
Chie flips open an album at random, and old photos of smiling people greet her. Most wear gold jewelry, like Jethro's nose ring or her own bracelet. They smile happily, in front of a barbecue in some, during holidays in others, and during moments of stillness.
“More family?” Chie mutters to herself as she rubs her arm. The discomfort from her wrist feels like it's migrating down her forearm. Dull, throbbing pain aches right below her elbow.
She picks up a picture of a man with a baby, frowning at it. The child, despite looking like a newborn, has a pierced nose ring already. The man, who wears an ear clamp, looks both ecstatically happy and terrified. A young girl - maybe four? Five? - reaches out to touch the baby, with a hand sporting a ring.
Chie flips to the back.
Papa Steve Gilman with baby Jethro and Jillian Gilman.
That man is Jethro's father? He barely looks fishy. The washed out photo shows gray eczema on him and…
Chie frowns, flipping to the front of the book, and pulls out a picture of a young man and woman together. The back of the photo tells her it's Steve and Hillary.
They don't look like the same people. Usually, she can pick out parts that are similar; nose, eyes, smile. As Chie flips through the album, she sees the progression. His eyes slowly drifting to the sides, the spreading eczema, his head and arms elongating.
Hillary, Chie realizes, doesn't change like that. Chie squints at a photo of her. No jewelry either, besides a plain wedding ring.
Questions rattle around Chie's head. Jethro's dad had been human. What made him into that creature? And how? Why? Did everyone who lived here turn into that? If so, why didn't Hillary change? And would Jethro turn as well?
Movement catches her eye. The digital clock changes and Chie grimaces at the time. She can wrestle with her confusion in the morning.

Part 2 of posting my google doc; WWN resign edition:
The Choir would wear their uniforms but have different campaign items and props they would also all have those rubber bracelets that say “Democracy Rocks!”. Ocean- She would wear her uniform with a simple purple and gold flower headband, and a “Vote Ocean” pin and her bracelet would be green, green symbolizes hope, luck, and corruption. Constance- She would wear a shirt over her uniform that has a photo of Ocean the newborn baby pose and it reads “Ocean is one with the people” and her bracelet would be orange because it symbolizes Noel- He would wear a “Vote Ocean” sash and his bracelet would be black because that is the color represents luxury/sophistication and loneliness. Jane- She has a little hand fan “I am a fan of Ocean O'Connell Rosenburg” and her bracelet would be white because it symbolizes innocence and isolation. Mischa- he would have one of the shirts like Constance and he would also have a collection of pins with different sayings and poses with Ocean on them, his bracelet would be red because it symbolizes excitement, passion, and rage Ricky- they would get new crutches that are red and white (for Canada) with the maple leaf on the button of the handle, the crutches would also have “Vote Ocean” stickers, and Ricky’s bracelet would be purple because it symbolizes magic, attraction (not to ocean), and detachment

the bracelet
That bracelet, the gold one from mexico fit onto the baby wrist i had when i was just a newborn. The bracelet my grandmother gave to me the one my sisters have their own version of. I need it. I want it back.
When i was younger, maybe 12 i would try to squeeze the bracelet onto my wrist but it was just too small, made to fit the wrist of a baby until a certain age. Id try to force it as much as i could without breaking it, being careful but forceful.
Yes it means a lot to me and having that bracelet again would mean knowing that at some point i was just a baby that people loved unconditionally. I was a small little human without a voice that my parents could love because I hadnt disappointed them yet. And when i was 12, even fucking 12, i wanted to pretend i was that baby again. Loved unconditionally. So yeah fucking yeah i want that bracelet back cause if i had it i could look at it, try to force it onto my wrist again and pretend im a baby thats loved.

A Comprehensive Guide to Selecting Safe and Stylish Jewelry for Newborns
Jewelry for babies is not just a charming gift or a fashion statement; it often holds sentimental value, marking milestones like births and christenings. However, carefully considering safe and appropriate jewelry for the tiniest wearer involves careful consideration. Here’s a comprehensive guide to selecting newborn jewelry that combines safety, style, and significance.
Tumblr media
Safety First: What to Look for in Newborn Jewelry
Safety is paramount when choosing jewelry for newborns. The ideal piece should have smooth edges, secure clasps, and be made of hypoallergenic materials to prevent any risk of injury or allergic reactions. For instance, the 14kt Baby Butterfly ID Bracelet, made from polished yellow gold with a pink enamel butterfly, is not only visually appealing but also carefully crafted to ensure no sharp edges come into contact with the baby's delicate skin.
Similarly, the strength and quality of the chain are crucial. Newborn jewelry should feature sturdy links that are durable yet light enough not to burden the tiny limbs. The oval-link style chain on the Baby Butterfly ID Bracelet or the robust yet comfortable Cuban link on the Baby Cuban ID Bracelet are excellent examples of suitable designs that balance durability and delicacy.
Material Matters: Why Choose Gold?
Gold is preferred for newborn jewelry due to its hypoallergenic nature and softness, making it less likely to cause irritation or discomfort. The 14K yellow gold used in newborn bracelets, such as those offered by Metals In Time, is an excellent choice. It's beautiful and durable enough to withstand daily wear without harming the baby’s sensitive skin.
Furthermore, when it comes to white gold, it’s essential to understand that it undergoes a process called rhodium plating to achieve its shiny white appearance. Pure gold is naturally orange in hue, and even when alloyed to create 14kt or 18kt white gold, it retains a slight yellowish tint. Rhodium plating covers this and gives white gold its popular brilliant white finish, making it a stylish and safe choice for newborn jewelry.
Style and Personalization: Making It Special
Jewelry gifts for newborns often become cherished keepsakes, so choosing an aesthetically pleasing and personal piece adds an extra magic touch. Personalization is a beautiful way to make the gift unique. For example, the Baby Cuban ID Bracelet includes complimentary engraving, allowing gift-givers to add a name, date, or a special message, making it not just a piece of jewelry but a precious memento of infancy.
Choosing playful and child-appropriate designs, like the delicate pink enamel butterfly on the Baby Butterfly ID Bracelet, can add a fun element to the jewelry that makes it suitable for children while still being sophisticated enough to be kept as a keepsake for years.
Longevity: Jewelry That Grows with Them
When selecting jewelry for a newborn, consider pieces that can grow with the child. Many bracelets come with adjustable lengths or links that can be added as the child grows. This not only makes it a practical gift but also one that holds sentimental value throughout the child’s life. The 6-inch length of the butterfly bracelet ensures that it can be worn for many months as the baby grows, potentially even into toddlerhood.
Final Thoughts Selecting the right jewelry for a newborn balances aesthetics with practical considerations like safety and comfort. Items crafted from top-notch materials like 14K yellow gold, equipped with reliable and gentle fastenings, and providing customization choices create ideal presents that blend aesthetics with functionality seamlessly. Metals In Time provides exemplary choices with their carefully crafted gold bracelets, ensuring your gift is as safe as it is enchanting. Remember, the perfect piece of newborn jewelry is not just an adornment but a token of love that can be treasured for generations.
