He may have started out as a Washington National, but now he's a Yankee, through and through. He's found his home. The way Soto and Judge keep each other going is a phenomenal thing. He can't leave. Please, Mr. Cashman, PAY. THE. MAN. Juan Soto belongs with the New York Yankees. Forever. We love him!! I hope that he loves us just as much. It's gonna be a great game today. Good luck to both sides, but.... LET'S GO YANKEES!!!!!
Thinking about how "Normalization Blues" by AJJ has only gotten more and more true since it was released in 2020. Feels like the ghost of Woody Guthrie moves strongly in this song.

Theres a first step to learning everyone loves to forget but it makes retaining information so much easier.
Before you start the video, or read the chapter, or take in any new information on whatever thing: remember what you already know. Even if you only know a few phrases in the language, or only know what the engine looks like. That is the seed to your further understanding, you want to expand on what you already know, not replace it (even if its wrong)
Step two is being okay with being wrong, and even further than that Understand your brain wants to be right. Learning better is no different to your brain than pain. It will want to confirmation bias, it will want the high ground. You need to get familiar with the process of accommodating the settle of new information into your brain.
And when you are wrong, ask why you believed what you did. It will point you to your information discrepancy like a movie theater usher with a flashlight.
paradox where i tell straight guys im a lesbian to simplify things and then bcus they think im a lesbian our friendship is easy and seamless and then bcus friendship is so easy and seamless i fall in love with them. this has only happened once but its vexing me.
