Another Ineffable Husband's headcanon nightcap (ft. Anthony J-acts-of-service-and-gift-giving Crowley).
I love the headcanon where Crowley grows flowers and arranges them into bouquets for Aziraphale. I love it. Every piece of fanfiction or fanart that I see it featured in just takes me out. However, I raise this beloved headcanon to a new level: Crowley growing plants to make Aziraphale tea. I like to imagine that when Crowley and Aziraphale get their cottage in the South Downs, Crowley will not only just grow them things like vegetables and fruits but also plants that he uses to make Aziraphale different blends of teas. He recreates some of Aziraphale's favorite blends, like Earl Gray, but he also experiments with other flavors and herbs to make new blends for him. He tries to act like it's not a big deal, but he not so secretly preens with pride whenever Aziraphale raves about the gesture and how much he enjoys the teas Crowley makes for him. It eventually becomes yet another way that Crowley displays his love for Aziraphal, another act of service, another gift. He makes both of them tea throughout the day, and the two make sure to enjoy it together, almost ritually.
Some add-ons that I am quite fond of:
Crowley writes to Nina initially about flavor combinations and which notes work best together. He also does a bunch of additional research whenever Azira leaves the house.
Crowley attempts to replicate the language of flowers within his teas, leaving little messages in the teas themselves for Aziraphale. He does this both with his own knowledge of horticulture and by speaking with Anathema quite frequently about it.
The two often play a game in which Aziraphale tries to guess what makes up the blend. Azira is quite good at this, but he gets more competitive as the game goes on.
Aziraphale has also begun to study the different plants that Crowley keeps in his garden, trying to get the upper hand so he knows what seeds and starters to get Crowley whenever they head back to London.
Crowley grows plants for the teas that shouldn't grow in England. However, he forces them to adapt by giving them the similar treatment he does his houseplants.

Ok so here is my theories for Good Omens season 3
☑️More Angel Crowley flashbacks (possibly his status/name as an angel unveiled[and here are my theories on that])
☑️ “Love of My Life” by Queen as Crowley proceeds to, as Castiel put it, “I found a liquor shop. I drank it.”
☑️ Aziraphale fumbling around kinda in heaven. Like he’s just kinda really awkward up there and doesn’t really know how to do things or he just changes things to have like a couch or something idk
☑️ Muriel in the bookshop (not really a theory so much as a hope) Also Muriel finally changes her clothes (I will cry if she’s still in that all white uniform even I have limits)
☑️ Crowley going to Nina and saying “Give me Death”
☑️ The Bentley acting sad/this AMAZING post
☑️ Another kiss? Maybe? Hopefully?
☑️ a happy ending
☑️ 1941 (and possibly even more apology dances) Edit: ok so I saw this post that made me realize that 1941 was the Nazi scene and that’s probably why Aziraphale did the apology dance after the whole zombie thing but I still believe that Aziraphale is gonna do an apology dance in season 3 I feel it in my rib cage
☑️ ARCHANGEL AZIRAPHALE WITH BEARD???
☑️ this post by @ineffable-cliffhangers
☑️ I am desperately hoping for this post by @feathered-serpents to happen
☑️ scenes with Aziraphale in Heaven that make you cringe with second hand embarrassment(not in a negative way more in a ‘you’re amazing and I treasure you but please don’t do that’ way)
☑️ ok but you know how Aziraphale does a super accurate drawing of Gabriel? What if he does a bunch of drawings of Crowley in heaven because he misses him so much
☑️ In season 1 we see a lot of Earth (obviously) and In season 2 we see plenty of Hell, but only a sneak peak of Heaven, so we’re definitely going to see more of Heaven, especially with Aziraphale being supreme Archangel there’s finally a reason to.
☑️what happened in Edinburgh when Crowley went to Hell?
☑️Aziraphale claims to have fooled Nefertiti, and mentions several times all the magic classes he’s been to, so maybe more history of Aziraphale and magic?
☑️ Aziraphale actually TELLING or Crowley somehow finding out that Aziraphale loves his eyes.
☑️14th Century???
☑Another reference to that 'lovely Chinese fellow' who ended up 6 feet under. I feel it in my bones.
☑️In the Shakespeare scene Crowley mentions that they’ve done the Arrangement “dozens of times before.”, so probably something in between then.
☑️God is gonna come back for narration God will come back I know she will because in s2 they were figuratively leaving the Garden and now that Azi is going back (😢) we will see more of her.
☑️CROWLEY STOPPING HIMSELF FROM CALLING AZI ANGEL
☑️Roof top scene, I swear to god there better be a roof top scene
☑️The big plane, with Jesus, and the security agents/angels; the 2nd coming. This is basically confirmed lol but I have a strong feeling that one of the Christian Big 3 will be there. (God, Jesus, Satan)
☑️In the scene where they're talking about guns and Aziraphale said that they "lends weight to a moral argument; I think.", and then Crowley snickers. He's laughing when Aziraphale says 'moral argument' and mutters it under his breath and starts walking away and Aziraphale is slightly annoyed/embarrassed and I'm sry I've started reading into everything I feel like it might have some sort of connection.
I’m going to save this and maybe add to it as time goes on then come back and fill in any checks that were right. If I’m basing any of these theories on incorrect facts or you’re confused on some of them please tell me and I’d be happy to make the corrections and further explain:).

My personal Headcannon for The Ineffable Husbands is that Crowley's an absolute fucking loser simp who would totally do whatever his husband wants him to. Top? Sure, angel. Bottom? Your wish is my command. Babygirl has no preferences her whole sexuality is making Aziraphale cum happy.

There’s gotta be like a huge meta about this somewhere but somehow I haven’t really seen anyone talk about the possibility of Aziraphale getting his memory wiped by heaven and what that would be like for Crowley. Just imagine him seeing Azi for the first time after the final 15 and he just doesn’t remember Crowley. Imagine Crowley silently falling to the floor, refusing to accept it. Imagine him taking off his glasses, staring at Aziraphale, Imagine the memory 6000+ years together completely wiped, gone forever. Imagine-

I don't know if I'm the only one, but after season two I've noticed a horrible rise of aphobia in the Good Omens fandom. Just to clarify it's not the cast and crew's fault for this, nor is it the result of A and C "finally" kissing on screen (a kiss does NOT mean they aren't aspec despite what many people are saying)
There's simply been a staggering amount of fans, posts, comments not necessarily about hate towards headcannoning the two as aro or ace, so much as there has been a rampant wave of erasure happening. And yes aphobia doesn't just mean outright insults and hate crimes, it also comes in the form of dismission and inconsideration. Of acting like ace and aro identities are a disgrace or something inferior. Like aspec people are unimportant and something to be pitied.
And I think it's mainly due to new fans joining the fandom who only joined because they heard about two "men" kissing. Now, I too love my fair share of queer rep in media, but when someone is new to the fandom, the least they could do is research. Research the book, research past posts, research the fandom itself and what people generally stand for, instead of barging in and acting like the place is there only for them and demanding a thousand more kisses in season 3 with several sex scenes (yes I've come across a dozen of those people by now. No they were not joking)
The more fans the merrier because the show is incredible and beautiful and lovely and everyone should be able to watch it, but please for the love of God have respect for other fans.
And that's why I think it's so important for other fans to call this behaviour out, because guess what? A and C are supernatural entities with no concept of gender or sexuality, at least not one that aligns with that of humans, and they're STILL up for interpretation just as they've always been. As much as people love their own headcannons and want them to be respected they should also give that same courtesy to others (even though you might "not like it" but that's another conversation entirely)

Possibly controversial good omens headcannon: at the end of season 3 crowleys pupils turn round bc he’s finally relaxed and feels safe. Not sure whether this would be super cool or not

Ever since I watched the second season of Good Omens, I’ve been wanting to redo Gabriel’s design in my au
So here they are! ^^
(They also go by Gabby :3 )
Luci can’t stand them (both when she was an angel and now that she’s a demon)
I might do/redo other angels’ designs but we’ll see ^^

Season 3 good omens headcannon
Am I the only one who think the second kiss in season three is gonna be in the rain. I mean the poster:
Tumblr media
And then the mention from Crowley, about one true kiss in the rain
and the constant hints on Pride and Prejudice, I mean
Tumblr media
And then the last beautiful thing:
Tumblr media
It would just be beautiful and it makes sense

For the ask game! 1, 7, 16, 23, 24!
When did you first watch/discover Good Omens, and how did you find out about it?
If I remember correctly, I first learned about it when it first became popular and my entire dash was nothing but Good Omens, but I didn't really think that it was possible that it'd be for me until a friend recommended it to me. I still didn't watch it until the following spring/summer or something along those lines.
7. What's your favorite under appreciated quote?
Honestly I think it has to be the "get thee behind me foul fiend. . . . after you."
16. Do you know anyone IRL who has also watched Good Omens?
I forced my girlfriend to, but I'm not sure that counts 😝
23. What's a Good Omens headcannon that you consider cannon?
Honestly I've gotten to the point where I interact so much with fannon that I don't even remember what is/isn't cannon anymore lol.
24. What's a theory for season 3 that you NEED to be included?
Honestly I don't know what to think, but if AziraCrow doesn't get fixed, I'm going to be sad.

Okay let’s unpack all that
Finally watched Hannibal cast reuinion and I have Thoughts. If someone wants to argue with me on this, please go watch the video itself on YouTube, starting at about 45:00 and going until 52:00
1) Straight Will aka biphobia
It is so insanely harmful to portray bisexuals with a strong preference/previous relationships with the opposite sex as “straight with an exception” (vice versa for gay with an exeption). Because Will, whose “””love story”” throughout the show is with another man, whose scenes with Hannibal carry sexual subtext (according to, once again, the director) is somehow straight?? It’s like people, especially creators, will do anything they can to avoid calling a character bisexual. Same goes for calling Hannibal pansexual but y’all aren’t ready for that can of worms ahdhshfj. (also: the devil is pansexual. just gonna let you sit with that for a hot sec).
2) The De-Sexualizing Of mlm aka homophobia
I said this when good omens came out and I’ll say it again ! There is nothing wrong with headcannoning a relationship as asexual in nature. I literally Do Not Care what people do in fandoms. But when the CREATORS THEMSELVES use such insanely homophobic hot takes like “wow their love is about LOVE PURELY.” implying that gay love that’s sexual isn’t also about love and that sex, especially gay sex makes things “impure.” I’m genuinely disgusted by his phrasing and the implications behind it. Being gay and having sex doesn’t simplify a relationship or make it “all about sex.” And if you feel “unsafe” seeing mlm in media being sexual then uhhh maybe check your homophobia.
3) Queerbaiting
It takes a lot for me to call something baiting, really. And for a while I’ve been saying that it sure is convenient that Hannigram is only confirmed outside of the show itself, aside from a one sided love (which apparently “isn’t even about sexuality”). But the relationship between Hannibal and will is queerbaiting. This is functioning under the impression that season four does not exist and the show ended at season 3. If season 4 does come out I’ll personally go and edit this post. ANYWAYS. Hannibal and will were never confirmed as in a relationship. There was heavy subtext and symbolism (both sexual and not) but there was never a confirmation DESPITE the director having multiple chances to put it in (the Almost Kiss at 3x13 ring a bell?) Where has Hannigram been confirmed? Brian’s Twitter. The fanart shirt/mug he posted pictures of. Him pointing at the orlatan scene and saying “blowjob innuendo” or the many suggestive tweets he made. Multiple panels where he called it a love story. All of this, made to draw gay viewers to the show with the promise of a gay relationship. This is the literal definition of qbaiting guys I don’t know what to say. Fuller had no plans to write an in-text gay relationship. Ever.
so yeah suffice to say I’m hurt and angry because of the bullshit being spewed during that live. I honestly don’t think I want a season 4 now that I know all the promotions of the show on brian’s Twitter were in bad faith.
Would love to hear y’all’s thoughts on this

Another GO headcanon/speculation to warm your heart this January
Since the announcement of Series 3 for our beloved Good Omens, the gears in this ol' brain have been turning. Because here's the deal: I love the idea that Aziraphale will have to give us a top-tier performance of the Apology dance, but I also like the idea that Crowley will request a favor he can call in at any time just for funsies. Aziraphale is inherently a little weary of this notion, but he ultimately agrees because, in the end, he loves Crowley and wants to show him that he is willing to do anything for him. And for a while, things just go back to normal. They handle the apocalypse, again, get their cottage in the South Downs, etc. Our ineffable husbands go about their days bickering and enjoying domestic bliss, and Aziraphale almost forgets about the favor his beloved demon has yet to call in. That is until they're back in the bookshop because, let's face it, Aziraphale won't be able to stay away from it for long, and Crowley is lounging on the couch while Aziraphale works (they sent Muriel to go hang out with Nina and Maggie). And like he's done in the past, Crowley decides it's about high time for a nap and decides it's time to call in that favor, resulting in something like;
"Angle," Crowley calls, tipping his head back to glance at the angel, where he's perched in his large, worn chair by his desk, looking over one of his newest bible misprints.
Aziraphale slides his reading glasses off of his nose and into the breast pocket of his button with an affectionate sigh, "Yes, my dear?"
"C'mere."
"Crowley, I'm working," the protest is half-hearted at best, and Crowley's mouths twitch up into a small smirk as Aziraphale carefully closes the book before twisting in his chair to look at the demon.
"Oi, none of that. You promised me a favor, angel, and I'm calling it in."
Aziraphale smiled fondly before rolling his eyes, and Crowley could swear he felt his heart melt a little.
I only ever want to see him smile like that, Crowley thought absently.
"Out of everything in the world- the universe, that an angel could offer you, you're using it for a cuddle?"
"Not JUST a cuddle, angel, I want a nap too." Crowley smiled, tipping his head back to summon Aziraphale closer.
"And you want me to hold you while you nap, I suppose?"
Crowley hummed in the affirmative, "Mmhmm, and I want you to read to me."
"Anything in particular, my love?"
"'Gimme something of Jane's, I wanna see if she can write as good as she can heist."
"How about a nice romance? Something to pair with your Richard Curtis pictures," Aziraphale stands before soothing out his trousers and beginning to search for where Muriel placed his Austen novels in their small reorganizing spree they took while he and Crowley were away getting settled in their cottage.
"No one calls them pictures anymore, Aziraphale, call 'em a movie for Gods-for Satan's- for somebody's sake," Crowley grumbled.
"Very well, is that a yes or a no for the romance?" Aziraphale asked as he located his newfound Austen section, his fingers grazing over the spine of his well-loved copy of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility before pulling both off the shelf.
"Sure, a romance, sounds lovely. Just grab one and get over here, 'm cold."
"Dearest, you're always cold."
"'M a serpent, angel, I have no temperature control!" Crowley groused, wiggling down onto the sofa to make room for the angel. He levels a small glare at the edge of the narrow sofa before nodding in approval when it expands under his harsh gaze. "It's the middle of winter, 's why I keep a nice warm angel around."
Aziraphale felt his face flush, an odd aspect of the corporation that he'd never get used to. He strolled over to the now slightly larger couch before cupping Crowley's cheek, his heart stuttering when the demon nuzzled into the touch, "Would you like the heated blanket, love?"
Crowley nodded before Aziraphale grabbed it from the end of the couch. He didn't move to plug it in; he just hit the remote, and the blanket spurred into action. The angel then wiggled next to his demon, bringing the tartan blanket, much to Crowley's chagrin, up around the two of them. Crowley is quick to nuzzle his way into the angel's grasp, resting his head on the plush planes of his chest.
"Comfortable?" Aziraphale asks, one arm coming up to wrap around Crowley's shoulders before opening his older editions of Pride and Prejudice. Crowley hums, smiling softly when he feels a soft kiss pressed into his hairline. "Very well, my dear."
---
Listen, I'm just a sucker for Aziraphale reading to Crowley as he naps (but so is half of the entire fandom, and Crowley, hence this post). Is this a way for me to write it? A little. It's just so soft and domestic, and I really want to see it in series 3. I understand that the ineffable husband's romance won't be the main storyline in s3, but I am frothing at the mouth for some domestic, fluffy, moments between the two of them before we have to say goodbye for good.

Ok so you know how a lot of people theorize that Crowley was the Archangel Raphael? And archangels protect over humanity, yes? But when we see Crowley as an angel…
Tumblr media
He’s not protecting humanity. He hadn’t even heard of them. He’s making stars and planets. ‘Oh, but what does that have to do with anything, Cain?’ EVERYTHING. Archangels (as far as I know) aren’t starmakers. Raphael is a healer. But, oh, what’s this? There IS a rank of angel a couple of ranks above archangel called a Dominion; and they’re responsible for the creation and movement of planets and star systems. (I have not done research on dominions but I’ll get back to you on that)
SO WHILE CROWLEY IS LIKELY NOT AN ARCHANGEL, HE MIGHT BE AN EVEN HIGHER UP ANGEL
