modern style.
johanna's modern style is greatly influenced by vintage styles, since that is what her guardian was used to and expects of a young woman, what he deems appropriate for a young lady. key elements include:
hair half up-half down with a ribbon tying it back: johanna lives to have easy access to her hair, even if it's just half of it. she as a habit of pulling on her curls, which has gotten to the point where her scalp is almost numb since it's gotten used to that sting. she doesn't realize if she accidentally pulls it out or if it starts bleeding, but it distresses her very much when she pulls away and there's still hair in her first. she experiments with many different styles, but this one is her favorite. it feels freeing to have her hair tucked out of her face while some of it is allowed to hang down. johanna owns more ribbons than she can count. most of them are in shades of pink and blue and sometimes white.
dresses and skirts with a cardigan: growing up with turpin as her guardian, she was reprimanded for dressing immodestly which could include anything depending on the day. cardigans are a way to preserve her virtue and as she gets older and begins to realize that the way her guardian acts around her is not normal, they become a shield. they are comforting, but not as restrictive as a coat. on her worst days, johanna wears up to three. she's also fond of sweaters in the early spring/fall/winter. they're protective and soft. because of her poor health, she tends to be cold most of the time and long sleeves help with that. adhering to the almost vintage aesthetic of her wardrobe, johanna typically wears dresses and skirts. most of which are blue, pink, white or in rare instances, purple or pale green. very feminine colors dominate her closet. she isn't very fond of slacks and only owns one pair in her youth since turpin doesn't want to purchase any more for her. she hardly ever wears them. post canon, she buys a pair of lime capris. they are reserved for projects such as painting the walls. post canon, she continues to dress like this although with some alterations. she prefers looser clothing than form-fitting ones.
quarter-inch heels: despite her insecurities about her appearance, her height isn't something that bothers her terribly. johanna stands at about 5'1" ( and a quarter ). she didn't become aware of her short stature until she was fourteen. that's when she realized the shoes her guardian had begun buying for her had a slight heel to them. it doesn't bother her and she does like the feeling of being slightly taller than she is. these are often vintage brands that turpin is familiar with ( likely why he started buying them for her in the first place --- he didn't know any other brands ). she also owns a few pairs of ankle boots for the winter and ballet flats. they are nude and neutral in color. post canon, she invests in more pairs of heels.
necklaces: johanna only owns two sets of jewelry: a chain with a cross pendant and a string of pearls. they make her feel more confident in her stage of maturing ( without realizing that she's grown up far too fast ). the cross was her mother's, but she doesn't know that. she simply found it one day and after a fit of rage from turpin that she found it, he told her to keep it and she did. johanna typically wears it underneath her cardigan or sweater so turpin doesn't yell at her about it again. at school, she plays with it absent-mindedly as a stress toy. the string of pearls is a gift anthony gave her when they were dating. she absolutely treasures them.
evening gowns: these are johanna's least favorite items in her closet. when her guardian asks her to put them on, she knows the night is not going to end well for her. they are all white and more revealing than she's used to. beautiful, elegant gowns that she wishes she could burn. they are tight around her torso and dip in the back which makes her even more insecure about what she looks like. this is what she wears when turpin has an event that requires her to be there. ( what she's never realized is that most men bring their wives. turpin has been forcing her to play dress-up as his pretty little wife for as long as she can remember. ) usually, she wears a shawl or even an oversized coat to try to cover herself up a little bit. it works for a few minutes up to an hour before her guardian demands she take it off. when johanna is older, she invests in a few classier dresses that make her feel prettier and don't bother her. it bothers her that her guardian used such pretty pieces to make her feel horrible.

Warnings: fun, flirty tension, a tiny bit of angst, grumpy!bucky, fluffy sweetness too

Waiting in line at your favorite coffee shop is always worth it and today, after a restless night, you really need the extra boost. Even though you’re behind schedule the stop is a necessity and despite the busy morning rush the line is moving quickly but apparently not fast enough for the person behind you who lets out a loud and frustrated huff.
Trying to be discrete you turn and look out of the corner of your eye.
The sight of him strikes you in a way you’re not prepared for.
Then the barista calls your name. You blink, dazed but thankfully able to recover well enough to give the barista a warm smile and thanks.
As you grab your napkins and gather your things you can’t help but steal glances at the man. He’s tall and broad shouldered, wearing a leather jacket that shows his biceps shaping the fabric, his long legs are clad in well fitted dark denim, and he’s the perfect mix of masculinity and male beauty.
His brooding expression doesn’t falter as he retrieves his drink order, but he does say ‘thank you’ and to your continued surprise, ‘excuse me,’ to whomever he passes.
With one last longing glance you head for the door, walking out into the sunshine and crossing the street to your favorite bench to enjoy your coffee before work.
You’re focused on your phone while you sip slowly so at first you don’t notice the dark shadow looming over you. But the rumbly and gruff voice startles you.
“You’re in my seat.”
You look up, shielding your eyes from the sun to see nothing more than a large shadow.
“What?” you ask, feeling discombobulated.
The shadow shifts and your eyes widen when you see the man from the coffee shop, his glower ferocious despite your now big smile.
“This is your seat?...It’s a whole bench.”
“Yeah…well.”
You look at the open space next to you and offer out a hand. “There’s more than enough room for both of us.”
His eyes narrow but he sits.
“I’ve never seen you here before,” you say brightly.
“I’m here almost every day,” he answers.
You keep your smile in place.
“Well, I’m running late so that must be why I haven’t seen you before.”
“Then why are you sitting on this bench talking to me?” he asks.
You bristle inwardly but your smile doesn’t falter.
“I still have time. I usually get in early, so it won’t be a problem.”
He stares at you, the breeze catching his scent and blowing it your way.
You try not to inhale, focusing on the fact that he’s super grumpy instead of the fact that he’s super hot and smells really good.
“I enjoy sitting out in the sunshine. It helps me feel grounded before I really start the day.”
The words tumble out unprompted but under his narrowed gaze you find yourself feeling less confident than usual.
He just “hmphs” in response and looks away, taking a sip of his drink.
“You say you sit here every day so what’s with all the…” and you motion to him, “grumpy? Is the sunshine not good enough for you?”
He turns your way again, lips pressed together but his eyes flaring with surprise. Before he can respond his phone rings. He looks at the screen with another mild puff of air then swipes his thumb over it.
“Wilson,” he says gruffly.
His voice drops low, and you look down at your phone, trying not to listen. Most of the conversation on his part is a series of grunts and mumbled responses so it’s hard to follow anyway.
After hanging up he stands abruptly and looks down at you, his gaze lingering before he gives you a barely perceptible nod of acknowledgement and starts to walk off.
You yell after him, “I hope you find some sunshine!”
He doesn’t turn around but you’re sure you see his steps falter for just a second.
It’s only after you finish your drink that you stand and start the short walk to work, surprised to catch sight of the grumpy stranger across the street at the local VA, squatting down in front of an older man with a dog.
The grumpiness is gone, replaced by a warm smile that crinkles his eyes. All the air goes out of your lungs.
He looks up at that moment, noticing you stopped in the middle of the sidewalk across the street. His smile fades and you drop your head, speed walking away.

It’s Saturday morning and you’re standing outside the bakery, texting your friend to get their donut order. The door opens and you barely have time to register the whiff of familiar scent that floats by you when you look up and lock eyes with Mr. Grumpy himself.
You smile in greeting.
“You,” he answers.
Your grin widens. “Me. What are the chances? Your favorite bench stealer!”
He sighs heavily and glances back at the door to the bakery before pinning you with his stare again.
Now that the sun isn’t shining in your eyes you have a better chance to see the color of his. They’re blue. A gorgeous ocean colored blue framed by long, dark, and thick lashes.
His attention strays down your body and you feel tingles everywhere his eyes touch.
“Here for something sweet?” you ask.
He never gets the chance to answer because a man comes up behind him and grabs his shoulder, giving him a slight shove to move in front and say hi.
“Barnes! Aren’t you going to introduce me to your beautiful friend here?”
You smile warmly.
“Sam. Sam Wilson,” the friend says in introduction.
“Hi Sam!” you greet and give him your name.
“Barnes didn’t tell me he made a new friend,” Sam says.
“Barnes?” you repeat.
You direct your question to Mr. Grumpy whose been standing there silently murdering Sam with his eyes since he appeared.
Sam smiles triumphantly. “This here is James, but his friends call him Bucky.”
“Hi Bucky. Nice to officially meet you!”
Your tone is light and airy, and you wave.
“Hey,” Bucky answers, then turns to Sam. “Let’s go, the guys are looking forward to these donuts.”
“Is he always this grumpy?” you ask Sam.
Silence falls between you all, but it only lasts a moment, broken then by Sam’s loud cackle.
“Oh, I like her already!” Sam says.
Ignoring your comment-and Sam’s-Bucky repeats, “let’s go Wilson!”
Sam returns the favor, ignoring Bucky and focusing on you. “You should come down and visit us at the VA sometime. He’s never grumpy around the guys.”
“So just me then?” you ask with a laugh.
“That’s just because he thinks you’re beautiful,” Sam winks.
You steal a glance at Bucky and note the slight pink color that paints his cheeks.
“It was nice meeting you Sam. And you too Bucky.”
With those last words and a smile, you skirt past them and walk into the bakery. After placing your order you’re shocked to find Bucky standing at the pickup counter, hands in his pockets and shuffling on his feet.
“Miss me already?” you tease.
He doesn’t answer and instead hands you a business card. You take it and look down, reading the information for the VA and Bucky’s name.
“Thanks,” you say, meeting his eyes again and noting the pink still coating his cheeks.
He doesn’t answer but you think you see his lips lift into what might be a small smile before he casually strolls off.
His jeans are molded perfectly to his perfect ass, and you sigh.

“Are you going to go visit him?” Diana asks through a mouthful of donut.
“Nah,” you answer.
Diana’s eyes bug out of her head with a gasp.
“Um you said he was insanely hot. I don’t’ get it. You don’t NOT go visit.”
“You do if he’s a grumpy jerk.”
Diana laughs. “Maybe he needs to eat more of these donuts!”
You roll your eyes. “He had a whole box of them. He was with his friend Sam who was also hot. I should go visit him.”
“Ohhh make Mr. Grumpy jealous. I like it.”
You shove the card into your bag and grab a donut.
“I think we need more donuts for this day,” you retort.

After a long donut filled debate with Diana you decide to make the call to the VA office. To your happy surprise Sam answers.
“Hi Sam,” you say and tell him your name, thrilled he remembers you.
“I was just thinking I’d like to bring some treats down to the office this week. Is there anything in particular I should get?”
You can practically hear Sam’s smile through the phone. He rattles off some orders and then tells you the days and times that would work. When you hang up you feel lighter just knowing you could do something kind.
You’ve never been in the VA building before even though you’ve passed by it many times. The interior is warm and inviting and has a large walnut desk and matching benches nearby.
At the sight of the benches, you laugh to yourself, wondering if Bucky claimed these seats too.
“Hey.”
You barely catch the quiet greeting but look up to see Bucky standing by a doorway. You suddenly feel hyperalert, every inch of your sensitive tingling and awake. You almost forgot how gorgeous he is, his light blue henley fitted around his broad chest and his dark jeans showing off those long and muscular legs.
Your heart flutters as he crosses the hallway, hard expression on his face, before he stares down at the box of donuts.
“You can’t eat them all!”
He gives you a quelling look, though you’re sure you catch a hint of amusement in his eyes.
“I can actually,” he says in a matter-of-fact tone, “but when I’m here I share.”
“What if I want one?” you ask, feeling brave and maybe a little flirtatious.
It takes him a moment to answer as he holds you under his keen regard, sweeping his gaze down your body before it lingers on your lips and finally returns to your eyes.
“Maybe,” he grumbles, then turns on his heel. “Follow me.”
You enter a room with tables and chairs set up and one long counter and cabinets in the back where you see a coffee machine, refrigerator, and small microwave.
“Do you have a favorite?”
His question surprises you and it takes you a minute to realize he’s referring to the donuts.
“OH, yeah definitely. The Bavarian cream is the best!”
“Hm,” he replies.
He doesn’t indulge you with his favorite, so you decide to ask.
“What about you?”
“Glazed,” he says, then adds, “with sprinkles.”
You stare at him for a beat then a laugh bursts out of you.
“I was not expecting the sprinkles!”
You’re too busy laughing to notice his smile.
“Well, I’ll keep that in mind for the next time I visit,” you tell him when you finally catch your breath.
“You want to come back?” he asks, eyes narrowed.
You don’t have a chance to answer because Sam enters the room with a boisterous greeting.
“There you are!” he says. “So glad you stopped by to see us.”
“And I brought donuts!”
“Perfect,” Sam says, placing a hand on your shoulder. “Come on, I’ll show you around.”
You look back at Bucky as Sam leads you out of the room. “Don’t eat any of those!”
Bucky’s scoff is the last thing you hear before you step out into the hallway.
After Sam gives you a tour you meet some of the veterans while you share donuts. It’s wonderful to talk with them and make them laugh and you’re happy you made the visit.
Right before you leave you run into Bucky who’s hovering over the last of the box of donuts.
“Slim pickings huh?” you say as you look into the mostly empty box.
“Yeah,” he huffs with a scowl.
“Lucky for you,” you say and open the cabinet above your head, “I stashed one in here earlier before we gave them out.”
You pull out the paper plate and take the napkin off to reveal a glazed donut with colored sprinkles.
He studies you in such a way that your thighs press tightly together in reaction. His expression is irritatingly unreadable as your eyes meet again.
He shifts as if he’s uncomfortable, an awkward silence hanging between you, before he blurts out, “thanks doll.”
His expression morphs into one of surprise and it matches yours, but you recover quickly enough with a warm smile.
“You’re welcome Bucky. Thanks for having me.”

You’re just getting situated with your book on the couch, rain pelting the window outside, when your phone rings.
Sam’s name lights up the screen and you answer with an excited, “Ghostbusters, whaddya want?”
The silence your met with is unexpected as you were hoping for one of Sam’s bright laughs.
“Tell me that’s not how you answer your phone normally.”
At Bucky’s weary comment your smile falls. “Bucky? I thought it was Sam?”
“You sound disappointed,” he points out.
“Only because you seem bothered by my amazing phone answering skills. I’m sorry that one got lost on you. Sam would have loved it.”
“So, if you knew it was me calling what would have said?” he asks.
“Uh…hello?”
“Uh hello?”
“No…just, hell, ugh! Why are you calling me from Sam’s phone.”
Silence again.
“Bucky?”
“Yeah…I didn’t have your number and wasn’t sure you’d answer if I called from mine so…”
“Ok,” you say. “And now that you have mine just text me and I’ll have yours.”
He’s quiet again before he continues in a rush of words.
“So, we’re having our annual fundraiser gala soon and Sam mentioned that you said you’d like to volunteer more, and we could use some help planning.”
“I’m definitely interested,” you cheer. “When should I come by?”
You get all the information you need from Bucky and then hang up, his conversation stilted when you started getting more excited and telling him that you were looking forward to working with him and helping. He hung up with a mumbled goodbye and never text you to give you his number.
It makes your thoughts of his disinterest solidify and you try to let it go and focus on the good you’ll be doing.

The week moves slowly but when Friday comes around you feel the same lightness from the last time you visited the VA. It gives you renewed energy, and you open the door with a smile, searching for the familiar face of Sam or Bucky.
You don’t see either of them, so you head down the hallway to the small dining room. Sam is at the front by one of the windows. He waves, pointing to his phone to signal he’ll be right off, and Bucky is at the counter.
He turns to face you, and you walk over.
“Hey,” you say.
“Hiya doll,” he answers.
Confusion washes over you at his sweet endearment, but you push it down and focus on what he’s holding.
“More donuts!” you exclaim.
“We always have them,” he says lightly. “I got you a Bavarian.”
At your silence you feel his eyes on you, and you drag them away from the perfectly powdered and filled deliciousness in the box.
“Why didn’t you text me?” you ask without thinking.
“What?” he says, his brow furrowed.
“You never text me to give me your number.”
His attention never leaves you, his gaze drifting from your head down to your feet. When he reaches your face again he stares and pulls his phone from his back pocket.
“Can I have your number?” he asks quietly.
“Sure,” you say and take his phone to program it in.
“Thanks,” he says.
“And thank you for my donut,” you finally say. “That was really thoughtful.”
He nods and grabs a glazed before motioning for you to follow him. The rest of the day is spent pouring over invites and food orders as well as any little detail that needs to be squared away before the event.
Most of the time it’s you, Sam and Bucky seated at a table, but Sam leaves occasionally to take a phone call or manage something in the office.
During the down time you learn more about Bucky, asking questions and mostly getting abridged but not unfriendly answers. He seems genuinely interested in what you have to say and that, again, confuses you more as to his intentions-if he has any at all.
Once the sun has set and you’re worn out you help them clean up then gather your things.
“How are you getting home?” Sam asks as you walk together to the door.
“I think I’m gonna walk,” you tell him.
Bucky makes a sound of disapproval behind you.
“What?” you turn and ask.
“It’s late,” he states.
“And?” you answer.
“It’s not safe.”
“I appreciate your concern but after sitting most of the afternoon I want to walk.”
“I’ll walk with you.”
At Bucky’s statement both you and Sam give him a wide-eyed look.
“You don’t have to do that,” you tell Bucky.
“Nah, he’s right,” Sam chimes in. “He should go with you. I would offer but I’m in the opposite direction.”
Sam tries to hide his smirk, but it’s written all over his face, so you just smile and accept Bucky’s kind and gentlemanly offer.
“Just gimme a sec. I want to grab something from my bike.”
“Bike?” you murmur as you track his movement toward a sleek black motorcycle parked at the curb.
Holy shit.
He doesn’t say a word as he walks back toward you.
“I didn’t know you had a motorcycle,” you say.
“Yeah,” he says while running a hand through his hair. “You know…easier in the city.”
“Smart and badass. It’s beautiful.”
That’s when he smiles at you, a real smile, for the very first time.
You nearly swoon.
“Yeah?” He looks boyishly pleased about your reaction.
You nod and give the bike one last look before you fall into step beside him. You chat about everything from the upcoming event to how he met Sam and even find out more about his motorcycle. He’s more open and comfortable and indulges you with more details about anything you ask.
As you pass by a bar a large crowd of young people come out, clearly drunk and rowdy as they sway and swerve as a mass toward you.
Bucky links your fingers together and deftly slides you out of harms way. Your skin tingles, little sparks of feeling shooting up your arm and it’s all you can concentrate on until the group passes by and continues down the street in a clamor.
“They seem like they’re having fun,” you giggle. “Thanks for the save there.”
The corner of his mouth starts to tilt upward and then he remembers he has a hold on your hand and his eyes drop and widen and he quickly let’s go, clearing his throat and mumbling, “no problem.”
“Did you ever go out like that and get wild?” you ask after a beat, hoping to lighten the mood again.
“Who me?” he asks and blows a raspberry. “Nah. I’m not really into big crowds much.”
“Then you should really enjoy the gala next week,” you say wryly.
“Right?” he answers. “If it weren’t for such a good cause and important to me, I’d skip it all together and stay behind the scenes.”
“Well at least you’ll have Sam!” you say in support.
“Actually…he’s usually caught up in everything since I leave all the talking and canoodling to him.”
“Canoodling,” you repeat and cover your mouth to stifle your laughter.
“Yeah, yeah.”
“I can’t imagine you not wanting to canoodle.”
Your delivery drips with sarcasm, and he throws you another killer smile.
He has the sexiest smile ever. Of course he does. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t smile a lot, because of its killer effect? Or is he really just Mr. Grumpy? One or the other.
When you reach your apartment you walk toward the double doors, thanking him for walking you home. Searching for your keys in your bag you end up dropping your phone, bending to pick it up at the same time Bucky does.
You bump heads and he immediately apologizes and rests his hand gently on your forehead.
“You ok?” he asks, rubbing his thumb soothingly.
“Yeah,” you say, slightly breathless.
His gaze drops to your lips and lingers before coming back to your eyes.
“Hey um…” he starts, those beautiful blue eyes studying you, sweeping over your features, as if tallying every little detail he finds.
“Yeah?” you ask, giving him a sweet and reassuring smile.
“Uh, thanks, for the help today. I’ll see you soon.”
You deflate at his quick departure; telling him it was “your pleasure and you’ll see him later.”
You’re not even to your apartment door when your phone chimes. You retrieve it from your pocket and see Bucky’s name on the screen.
You open the text and nearly drop your phone again.
'Do you want to be my date to the fund raiser?'
Like sunshine bursting through a cloud, you feel butterflies erupt in your stomach, a fluttery warning that you’re way in over your head.

“What are you going to wear?” Diana asks as you stand in front of your closet.
“I have no idea!” you sigh. “I asked for a dress code, and he said ‘formal’…and that’s it. Then I asked what he was wearing, and he said, ‘a tux.’”
“Not very chatty, is he?” she mutters.
You shrug at stare at your closet that has nothing appropriate in it.
“Looks like we’re going shopping,” Diana says as she jumps off the bed and grabs her bag. “Come on, we’re gonna find you something that will knock his socks off.”

Bucky picks you up in a town car, and you smile graciously as he opens the door for you, your internal nerves wild as you wait for his reaction to your appearance.
Unfortunately, his reaction isn’t worth the nerves because he stares blankly at you before giving you an abrupt nod of greeting.
All the while you try not to drool over him in a tux.
When you arrive inside you can’t hide your beaming smile. It looks beautiful. All the details having come together perfectly to create an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere.
“You’re really doing wonderful work here,” you tell Bucky.
He holds out his arm for you and smiles. “Thanks doll.”
“You’re here!”
You turn at the familiar voice. Sam hurries over and takes you in.
“Wow,” he says, raising his brows. “Lucky man Barnes.”
He claps Bucky on the shoulder. “Enjoy yourselves. I’ll be around if you need me.”
Bucky places his hand on your lower back and leads you across the room to the table. Your breath catches at the sensation of his hand on your bare skin, but you try to shake it off.
His hand presses deeper into your back, and you follow his guide. People greet him and he says hello, but he doesn’t stop to chat.
“Shouldn’t you be taking the time to talk with these people?” you ask.
“Probably,” he says as he pulls out your chair.
You snort because he sounds like he couldn’t care less.
You’re the first people at the table and you stare at the fancy centerpiece.
“It really does look amazing in here.”
Bucky glances over it all, bemused.
“It does. I guess it’s necessary.”
“What do you mean,” you ask.
“I come to these events for Sam and the veterans. I want to raise money and help but if it were up to me it would all be quiet and low key. This kind of socializing isn’t my first choice.”
Turning to study his handsome face, you smile. “Is any kind of socializing your choice?”
He throws you a dark but amused look. “You’re funny”
You hold back more laughter and touch his knee, giving it a soft squeeze. His eyes meet yours and you swallow around the sudden sensation of your racing heart.
Needing to break the intense eye contact, you turn to observe the room, noting that more people are heading to their tables.
You spot Sam talking to a lovely woman and you feel Bucky’s smile.
“Sam likes her,” Bucky says quietly.
“Who is she?” you ask in a whisper.
He leans into you, his breath tickling your cheek as he murmurs, “the daughter of one of our veterans. They’ve met a few times, and I can tell he’s totally taken with her.”
You turn your head slightly, bringing your faces just inches apart. “She’s lovely. I’m sure she likes him too.”
His attention moves from Sam to you, and his eyes narrow as he realizes how close you are. But he doesn’t move back. Instead, he searches your eyes.
Your heartbeat skips and you’re almost afraid to breathe.
Needing to break the tension once again, you wrench your gaze away and find Sam shooting you a quick glance.
“I have the sudden urge to run over there and embarrass him,” you say with a devious smile.
Bucky’s answer is to move away but only because he throws his head back in laughter.
“I’d pay to see that,” he replies, mischief dancing in his eyes.
Before long, your table is filled, and Bucky introduces you to the people he knows. The older couple sitting nearest to you is just smitten with both you and Bucky, peppering you with questions and hanging on your every word.
They tell you their life story too, how they found each other and fell in love and have been together ever since. It warms you and you give his thigh another squeeze under the table.
He places his hand over yours and brushes his thumb across your knuckles.
The food comes and you turn his way, lightly tugging on your hand.
“I need that to eat,” you giggle.
“Oh, right,” he says with one more sweep of his thumb before he releases you with a soft expression.
The food is delicious, and you find yourself smiling between every bite.
“You two look like you’re having a good time.”
Bucky stiffens next to you, and you wait for his move before following his gaze to the older woman standing behind you.
“Don’t you look handsome as always James,” she comments then flits her eyes to you but doesn’t say anything more.
Bucky smiles but it doesn’t reach his eyes. “Mrs. Whitman. How are you?”
“Fine, just fine. Now I need to steal you away for a moment.”
Bucky’s eyes lift over Mrs. Whitman’s shoulder and his lips turn down in a frown.
“I can’t, sorry Mrs. Whitman. I’m here with someone.”
He looks at you and smiles.
Mrs. Whitman sighs, clearly annoyed.
“You can’t spare just a moment?” she pleads, trying to appear genuine.
“Sorry,” Bucky says as kindly as he can.
Without a goodbye she huffs off and you wait until she’s far enough away before looking at Bucky. His frown melts away as your gazes lock.
“I’m sorry,” he says. “Her husband was a veteran, and he recently passed. She’s been trying to set me up with her daughter since, but I’m not interested.”
“I hope I didn’t cause you any trouble,” you tell him.
“No. Not at all doll. She can be rude sometimes, but I think she’s just struggling with grief and doesn’t know what to do with herself. I feel bad, but like I said. I’m really not interested.”
You smile reassuringly then excuse yourself to the bathroom, needing a little air. When you return, you see Bucky hasn’t moved from his seat and his gaze is zeroed in on the hallway to the bathroom.
As you cross the room toward him, his eyes drift down your body. His gaze lingers on your bare shoulders and the sway of your hips and by the time you reach the table, you need another restroom break to cool off.
He doesn’t move out of the way, so you have to brush up against him to sit back down. When your eyes meet, his are heated. You stare at each other, the music and chatter around you fading away.
The lovely old woman next to you breaks you out the haze when she asks where the restroom is. You point her in the right direction, telling her you’ll happily escort her, but she refuses kindly and slowly makes her way through the crowd.
Once she’s safely down the hallway, you look away and find yourself staring at Bucky. His face is close.
Too close.
Or maybe just close enough depending on how you look at it.
His eyes search yours and you ignore the rushing in your ears as you close the distance between you and gently brush your lips over his.
Your mouth tingles from the brief touch as you pull away.
He scowls hard at your mouth, but you’re not sure if it’s because you kissed him or because you barely kissed him.
“What…?” he starts to ask roughly, but a loud banging at the front of the room, startles you and pulls your attention away.
Sam stands at a small podium, a smile on his face as he greets everyone.
Nice timing Sam.

‘How’s work today?’
You smile at you phone and Bucky’s name on the screen.
‘It’s going…’ you type back. ‘How about you? I know you said your day was going to be busy.’
‘Up and down. We made some really good progress with one of our veterans today, but we lost one of our oldest members to cancer.’
‘Oh Bucky. I’m sorry it’s been a tough day. Do you need anything? I can come by on my lunch break.’
‘Thank you doll, I appreciate it. But it’s unfortunately something I’ve gotten used to. Comes with the territory.’
‘I’m here if you need anything.’
‘Thanks.’
You’re just clearing your desk at the end of the day when your phone rings. You smile at the sight of Bucky’s name, and you’re not surprised considering you’d received a text to inform you that your delivery had been successfully made.
“Hey,” you greet.
“Hey.” His voice is low, a little hoarse. He clears his throat. “You sent me donuts.’
You grin at how confused he sounds. “I did and cookies.”
In fact, you sent him a dozen glazed- with sprinkles of course- donuts and a box full of assorted cookies from your usual favorite bakery.
“I wanted you to have a little treat after a long day. I know you might be used to it but that doesn’t mean it isn’t hard on you.”
He’s quiet so long you have a horrible feeling that you may have crossed a line. But then he speaks.
“Thank you doll. I really appreciate it.”
You smile and try to quell the butterflies dancing around your stomach. “You’re welcome!”
“I’ve never had so many glazed donuts to myself!” There’s a teasing tone to his confession.
“But you have to share the cookies!” you tell him, trying to sound stern.
“Yeah, I’ll do my best,” he laughs. “But really, thank you.”
“It was nothing,” you say trying to shake off the giddy feeling he’s giving you with a shrug he can’t see.
His voice is gravelly when he promises, “it’s not nothing to me.”
You teeter on your feet. “Well, I’m glad it cheered you up a little. I’m just heading out of work so…”
“So, I’ll let you go.”
Did you hear a smile in his voice?
“I’ll see you this weekend for Sam’s BBQ?”
“Yes! Looking forward to it,” you say.
“Great doll, see you then and I am too.”
With that, he hangs up and you stand at your desk and try to slow the rapid beating of your heart.

Bucky picks you up on his bike and you’re barely ashamed at how excited you are to ride with him.
He revs the engine when he pulls up at the curb where you’re standing and settles the bike with his leg on the sidewalk.
“No helmet?” you ask with a wave.
He sucks in a breath and his eyes are glued to your legs.
“Wrong outfit?” you say as you track his gaze. “I can go…”
“Nope,” he says quickly.
He hops off the bike and offers a hand to help you get on, squeezing his eyes closed when you get close to him and your shoulder brushes against his chest.
“Are you ok?” you ask him, looking up into his blue eyes.
“Yep. All good,” he says, voice strained.
You narrow your eyes at his sharp tone but take his offered hand and help onto the bike. Once you’re wrapped around him and pressed to his back you lean up and say, “what’s going on? You seem grumpy today?”
“Nothing,” he replies before revving the engine and pulling away from the curb.
It doesn’t take long to get to Sam’s and when you arrive Bucky parks his bike and hops off lithely and you wait for him to offer his hand to help you off.
To your surprise he takes you by the waist and lifts you off the bike in one easy movement. Your body is plastered to his as your feet slide to the ground.
You shiver at the contact.
“You cold?” He frowns at you.
“Nope,” you answer, looking away and straightening the bottom of your dress.
Over his shoulder you see Sam walking your way.
“There you two are!” he yells.
You wave and smile.
“You look gorgeous as always,” Sam says.
Sam leads the way to the backyard and Bucky places a hand at your lower back. Your brain fritzes and it’s all you can think about as you walk through the yard saying hello to people as you pass.
When you reach Sarah, Sam’s sister, you greet her with a warm hello, having met her once before at the VA. Bucky joins in the conversation, his fingers still warmly pressed into your skin when he starts to draw little circles on your lower back.
You suck in a breath and trip over your words and then he splays his palm and slides it around to your hip, drawing you into his side.
Your heart stops.
Sarah doesn’t seem to notice or if she does she doesn’t make it known and when Sam calls for her help she rushes off with a promise to come back and chat after.
“You seem to be in a better mood now that we’re here,” you say as you turn your eyes to Bucky.
His eyebrows draw in. “I…you look gorgeous.”
Your lips part and your mouth falls open.
“You always do. You did at the fund raiser. You do today. It’s just…I’m not good at…”
He trails off, his words dying on his lips and his cheeks turning your favorite shade of pink.
His words fill you with relief and you swear that it’s the lingering heat of that barely there kiss from the gala that you can’t seem to forget because the next thing you know you’re grabbing him by the front of his shirt and pulling his lips down to yours.
You intend it to be a quick kiss, but he brings one of his hands to the back of your neck and the other presses deep into your back as he takes over. Your small gasp turns into a moan, and it ignites him. He deepens the kiss, hungry and desperate and it sets every inch of you on fire.
“Uh, there are children present.”
Sam’s voice cuts through the moment like a bucket of cold water and you move back. Bucky’s hand flexes at the back of your neck as if to stop you from moving away from him. You breathe hard and state at each other.
Best. Kiss. Of. Your. Life.
Bucky appears dazed enough for you to believe maybe it was for him too.
The party around you comes back to life and Sam’s broad smile fills your vision. He claps Bucky hard on the back. “I knew ya had it you Barnes!”
Sam saunters off with some extra pep to his step and you watch him walk back into the house. Bucky’s fingers close around yours and he tugs you away from the crowd.
“Where are we going?” you ask.
He doesn’t answer but just holds tightly to your hand until you reach a small garden enclosed by a low white fence. At the back there’s a wrought iron bench just big enough for two.
“This is so pretty,” you whisper as he walks you through the garden.
When you reach the bench he turns your way.
“You’re really going to share the bench with me?” you ask playfully.
His answer is to lift his hand to cup your jaw, his eyes dropping to your mouth. You hold your breath as he leans in. The first contact he makes is just a brush of his lips over yours. The briefest sweep.
“I’m sorry I was such an ass that first day we met,” he whispers against your lips. “I was having a rough day but it’s no excuse.”
“It’s ok,” you breathe out. “I forgive you.”
He does it again. Sweeps his lips along yours and you hear the quietest moan escape his throat as he leans in closer, pressing his soft, strong mouth to yours and taking your top lip between his.
With a smile forming against your mouth, he tilts his head and kisses you with a heat that rivals the one only minutes ago. His free hand slides around your waist and smooths along the curve of your spine, dragging you up against his body.
Without an audience he kisses you long enough to have you pulling back for need of air.
“Bucky,” you whisper, grabbing his biceps for support.
“I really am sorry,” he murmurs.
“You’re good at that.”
“At what?” he asks, distracted by your mouth again.
“Kissing.”
He hums. “That’s only because I’m kissing you. And I plan to keep kissing you. For as long as you’ll let me.”
“Forever sounds good,” you whisper at the feel of his lips hovering over yours.
“Won’t be long enough but it’s a start doll.”

A/N: divider from @saradika-graphics !!!
The soft, golden glow of sunlight filters through the window. The glimmer coats the BAU in an extra layer of warmth from the early spring chill. You adjust your light pink blouse as you approach the desk of your favorite coworker, Spencer Reid. You prop yourself up on his desk, your floral skirt pulling taut around your hips as you settle.
You swing your legs playfully, waiting for him to turn his attention away from his case file and on to you. A small smile curves his lips, and you know you got him. A heeled foot hooks behind his shin, running along the length of it until his gaze finally finds you. His eyes shine when they meet yours, a large hand moving to grip your ankle and bring it to his knee. He keeps it there, a soothing thumb rubbing the expanse of the skin there.
Your heart flutters at the action, his own cheeks tinting pink at his temerity. This has been a recent update between the two of you, Spencer's touch, his affection. Since you started at the bureau, only a few short months after him, you've been fascinated by the genius sitting beneath you now. At first, he was shocked by your immediate friendship, not used to such affection without having to earn it. In the past few months, though, his hands will graze your waist, his hugs lingering a moment too long. This change in behavior sparks a flicker of hope in your chest. Hope that, maybe, he sees you the way you see him.
You see him now, looking up at you with sparkling brown eyes. The early morning light highlights the caramel tone seeping through the dark brown. It captivates you. Your eyes drift down the rest of his face, it's all you can do to not get completely lost in him, in those eyes.
"Whatcha looking at, handsome?" you drawl, sweet as honey as you reach for the case file on his desk.
You can't help the small smile that forms as heat rushes into his face, deepening his complexion a deep red.
"It-" his words catch in his throat, which he clears before continuing, "it's for a potential new case. From Hotch."
His tone is clipped, as if he's forcing himself to sound casual. He does that when he's nervous, you've come to find out. You wonder if the pointed toe heel resting delicately on his knee has anything to do with that. You press the ball of your foot into him playfully, reveling in the way he flushes even deeper.
"Can I see?" you ask lightly, tilting your head and pouting your lips, "I want to see if it's the one I passed along to him on Monday. I still haven't heard back from him about it."
You hop down from his desk, grabbing the chair adjacent from his desk. Maybe you pull it a little too close to his chair, but you can't seem to care too much once his bicep grazes your own. The smallest touch sends shock waves through you, a surge of electricity pumping straight to your heart.
You hear his breath pick up as you reach across his lap to grab the file. A small smile spreads across your lips as Spencer nods his head frantically, long, deft fingers passing the file to you.
"Yeah-yeah, I think it is. The white collar case on Cape Cod, right?" he asks, and you nod.
"Yeah, he wanted you to look at it?" you look towards him with bright eyes, hopeful. "I wasn't sure he'd be okay with us picking this one up. It's not really something we normally cover, but I have a feeling about it. Something's not right..." you trail off, scanning the details once more.
"I agree," he says, and it's almost laughable how relieved you feel at his approval. "I couldn't help but notice the fraud charge. They wired the money to an account in Germany. If this crosses country lines then we might be dealing with something more than just fraud."
"That's exactly what I was thinking!" your fingers latch onto his forearm in excitement. His eyes flash to your touch, his breath catching again.
Your eyes linger on his face, tracing each freckle of his smooth skin. His eyes flit up to yours, and the contact stops time. Everything around you comes to a standstill, you and Spencer are the only ones that exist in this moment.
A tap of a manila folder snaps you out of your Spencer-induced-haze, cheeks heating as you look up to find Hotch. A knowing look glimmers in his eye, and you twist your hands in your lap.
"Get ready to leave for Cape Cod," is all he says, tone definitive before he goes to brief the rest of the team.
Spencer's heart clutches in his chest as they exit the plane, right onto a coastal beach. She's dressed for the occasion, an airy, floral sundress ebbing and flowing around her gorgeous figure. He shoves his hands in his pockets, willing his gaze to focus anywhere else. He finds solace in his Converse, the way they squish against the sand deters him from the way her dress dips lower at the chest.
He shakes his head, as if to rid himself of the thought, as guilt creeps into the pit of his stomach. He's been fighting these feelings ever since she joined the bureau. The magnetic pull she has on him, the grip of want clutching his heart, his lungs, until he can barely breathe. As always, she saddles up next to him, as if she knew she's on his mind. She's always on his mind.
A mix of coconut and chemicals fill his nostrils, her sunscreen infiltrating all his senses. Her bare arm grazes against his, her proximity nearly suffocating. He'd rather die than move away from her, though.
They're assigned the same task, analyzing the letters sent to and from various money launderers. She's bent at the waist, palms flat against the white folding table set up on the beach. Hormones rage through him, he feels like a perverse teenager, but the way she pops her hip out nearly gives him a heart attack.
His arm lifts, almost involuntarily, his hand lightly grazing her elbow as he makes his presence known. He revels in the way her eyes light up as they find him, her hand finding his shoulder. He feels dizzy when she gives it a light squeeze, the prettiest smile painting her glossy lips.
"What have you found?" he ponders. She raises her brow at him.
"We've been here for not even five minutes. How do you know I've found something?" she inquires. A light chuckle escapes his lips, his eyes finding the letters she's been scanning.
"You have that crease in your brow when you know something," he mentions softly, her smile widening. "What is it?"
She pulls her bottom lip between her teeth, the plump flesh ever so tempting. She's so beautiful when she works, it takes his breath away.
"This. Look at this sentence, here," she points about halfway through an old, crinkled letter. It catches his eye immediately.
"'It's been handled. There's nothing you need to worry your pretty little head about.' What do you make of that?" he asks, though he has some theories himself.
"A partnership. It almost seems romantic, 'pretty little head'," she repeats, "it's almost flirtatious. Like he wants to take care of the partner, man or woman."
Spencer has no idea how the perfect combination of beauty and brains found him, of all people, but God, is he thankful.
"I agree, nice work," he smiles at her, and he revels in the way she preens at his praise. The sun coats her skin, and the natural light makes her shimmer like an angel.
"Thanks, Spence," she nudges his shoulder with hers, and his cheeks heat. It's not from the sun.
An arrest is made not long after they touch down- a 25 year old manager of a local golf club. He's a broad, muscly type, the kind of guy that's always made Spencer feel smaller, less-than. He sees it. The moment he clocks her. It makes him sick.
He's handcuffed, Hotch dragging him along the beach to the interrogation space. On his way there, his eyes lock on the girl right next to him. Acidic bile rises in his throat as his eyes scan up and down, sizing her up like a lamb for slaughter.
Hotch approaches them a few minutes later, his gaze directed at her.
"He says he'll only talk to you. He wants 'the pretty one'," Hotch informs. A shiver unzips Spencer's spine at that, the sick feeling from earlier creeping up his throat once again. He can't help but link his pinkie finger through hers, a reassuring gesture that she's more than this.
Hotch leans closer, his voice a low timbre. "Between us, this guy is a bona fide creep. You don't have to do this if you don't want to."
A wave of relief rushes through Spencer at this, though his stomach drops when she removes her pinkie from his. He sees her straighten her spine in his peripheral, and his head snaps up to look at her. He knows the second he sees her. She's going to do it.
"No," she says to Hotch, almost defiant, "I can do it. I want to help in any way I can."
Hotch studies her for a moment, his brow furrowing in a concern Spencer shares. He nods tersely, and Spencer knows fighting this is a lost cause.
"Alright, let's go," Hotch says lowly, letting her go before both of them.
Spencer follows. It's against his better judgement, he knows he'd probably be of better use elsewhere. He can't let her go in alone, though. Not even if he tried.
Your heart is thumping in your chest, your blood thrumming in your veins as you near the interrogation room. Spencer's behind you the whole time, you can tell. A tiny flame of hope flickers in your chest as he stands at the glass, a white knuckle grip on the table beneath him.
You make eye contact with him one last time before opening the door. You see the restraint in his big brown eyes, how badly he wants to tell you to not go in. You take a deep breath and open the door anyway.
A sickly feeling creeps its way into your stomach, acid bubbling in the deepest part of you. You watch as he sizes you up, his gaze lingering a little too long on your chest. You're used to this, to men treating you like a piece of meat. It never gets easier, but you find a small bit of comfort in the fact that you're helping your team. So, you plaster your sweetest smile, falling into the role that's expected of you.
"Hi! How are you doing? Uncomfortable?" you pout your glossy lips, tone sickly sweet as you perch on the edge of the table. His eyes linger on your ass, the fat of it emphasized by your weight on the table. You arch your back slightly. You know you look good, you decide to lean into it instead of focusing on the man in front of you.
"What do you think, sweetheart?" he asks, sarcasm lacing his tone as he rattles his cuffs. "You help, though."
Your stomach churns, but your smile never falters. Your experience with men like this isn't foreign to you. You know every button you need to push.
"Yeah?" you drawl, your manicured nails crawling to his forearm, resting gingerly there. "Anything I can get you? Food? Water?" you bat your lashes sweetly. The glint in his eye reeks of objectification, and you swallow the lump in your throat.
"Get me a cheeseburger and fries from Louie's. Oh- and a chocolate milkshake, cherry on top," he winks at that last line. You pity him for how proud he seems of it.
You place a hand on his forearm, leaning in so your face is parallel with his. You watch his eyes flit down to your chest, now even more exposed in your position.
"You got it," your tone is saccharine, your nails dragging lightly against his arm as you stand to leave. You make sure to sway your hips a little extra as you leave, looking over your shoulder one more time before opening the door.
You exit the interrogation room to the shocked expressions of your team members, most are impressed, others in pure shock. You catch Spencer, though, and it doesn't take a genius to see the incredulous expression on his face. His brows furrowed, a pout hanging low on his lips.
"Way to work it, honey," Morgan claps you on the back. Hotch nods his agreement.
Pride swells in your belly at their praise. You can't shake Spencer's lack of enthusiasm, though. His inability to look you in the eye sparks a flame of disappointment, blazing through the content you felt just moments before.
You weave your way through the small room, linking your fingers around Spencer's wrist and pulling him out into the precinct. He still can't look at you.
"Spencer, what's wrong?" you're not really sure where to start. You hope this gets him talking.
"Nothing. Nothing's wrong," his voice is high pitched in the way that it does when he's lying. "I just- I can't watch you put yourself on display for someone that looks at you like a piece of meat! Is that just your natural state? Since it clearly comes so easily to you."
He mumbles the last part under his breath, and it shocks you into silence. Frustration flares in your chest, spreading like wildfire from head to toe.
"You don't have to watch, then, Spencer," you spit out his name, and he flinches at your tone. "I'm trying to help our team solve this case. If you can't watch, then maybe your skills would be used better somewhere else."
You stalk off, hurt piercing through every nerve in your body. You wiggle your fingers, stretching your neck side to side as you try to shake off the feeling. It finds its way back to you, no matter what you do, rising like bile up your throat.
You open the door back to the interrogation room, watching the man behind the glass eat his food without a care in the world. You stew for a moment, letting yourself sit in the hurt, the anger. You decide to let it fuel you.
You reach your hands into your dress, pushing your boobs up so they rest perkily above the neckline. You turn to Hotch, who looks like he regrets the day he was born, fire blazing in your eye.
"I can crack him," you say assuredly. Hotch nods in response, and you turn the knob to the interrogation room.
Spencer can't help but find his way back into the interrogation room. He sits in the back, behind Hotch and Morgan, back hunched, arms crossed over his chest. His brows are furrowed, the pout on his lips everlasting.
Guilt boils in his stomach as she saunters back in the room. The way his eyes light up when he sees her makes Spencer physically ill. He clears his throat uncomfortably, which causes Derek's head to cross over his shoulder, finding Spencer immediately.
Spencer shrinks into himself even more as Derek moves to join him at the back table. They sit for a moment, watching as she bends over the table at the waist, popping her hip out in a way that's sinful. Spencer bites his lip, completely giving up on hiding his feelings from Derek. He figured him out months ago.
"The way I spoke to her, Derek..." Spencer trails off shamefully. He shakes his head, unable to look at her without feeling nauseous.
"She's going to forgive you. She just needs to know you're coming from a place of concern, not judgement," Derek says, his poignancy grating Spencer's nerves even further. How dare he have such good judgement?
"How do you know she'll forgive me?" Spencer murmurs. He can't remember the last time he sounded so weak.
"Because I know," his certainty draws Spencer's gaze up to meet Morgan's. They sit in loaded silence, the only sound cutting through is her saccharine tone from the other side of the glass. It churns in Spencer's stomach like bad milk.
Derek moves back to where he was before, next to Hotch at the glass window. It's then that Spencer finally wills himself to look at her. She's got her hands on her hips, all her weight resting on one foot in a way that highlights her figure. She flips her hair, and the suspect is completely drawn to her.
"You're a smart guy, I can just tell..." she croons, moving closer towards him, "but being smart doesn't mean you can hide from me, you know?"
The suspect blushes at this, though a smug smirk paints his lips. "I don't know what you're talking about, baby. I didn't do anything."
Spencer white knuckles the table beneath him. It's all he can do to not go in there and wipe that smile right off his face.
"I know you're not used to pretty girls pushing back. Most of them just fall for that smile, huh?" her voice is lower, more intimate, as a nail traces the shape of his lip.
The suspect tenses then, turning his gaze down to his hands. Spencer sits up at this, adrenaline striking him at the suspect's discomfort.
"I...I didn't do anything. I swear," the suspect emphasizes that last part, and Spencer knows she's got him.
"You really think I'm going to let you get away with that answer, when I know the truth?" she's resting on the table now, her hip delicately perched just inches away from the suspect. "It's okay to let go, you know," a nail lightly grazes up his arm. He shivers. "You've lost control already, haven't you?"
The last question comes out as a whisper. The suspect jolts away from her, the legs of his chair scraping the floor.
"I didn't mean for it to go this far, okay?" the suspect exclaims. Spencer stands fully upright now, moving to stand in-between Hotch and Morgan.
"She's got him," Morgan mumbles, and Spencer's chest swells with pride.
"But it did go that far, didn’t it? And now you’re here. You can’t run anymore. What happened that night? I’m right here. You can tell me," she's batting her eyelashes, yet venom laces her tone.
"It was just supposed to be money laundering. They told me I'd be making seven figures if I did. That's all I wanted. I didn't mean for anyone to get hurt," he groans, head falling back.
Spencer, Hotch, and Morgan all exchange weary looks, brows raised in surprise. Pride blossoms in his chest like an early spring flower, his cheeks warming at the sight of his best friend. He's so, so proud of her. He was such an ass earlier. He'll spend the rest of his life making it up to her.
Her head tilts to the side, a faux pout painting her lips. She pats his shoulder definitively before standing.
"Thanks, babe," her tone is sarcastic now, and she winks before leaving the room.
She's caught off guard to see Spencer there, stopping in the doorway just briefly before closing it behind her. The pride swelling in his chest dissipates to that boiling guilt from before, bubbling deep in his stomach.
"Good work," Hotch nods at her, a prideful smile on her lips, "Morgan, have Garcia research any connections to our unsub. He said 'they', we may be looking for a team."
Hotch follows Morgan out, and he's left alone with her now. It dawns on him that he's never been speechless with her before. She's always made him feel comfortable expressing whatever's on his mind. Now, as her eyes gleam with hurt, he doesn't think he's earned that right.
"You did it," he breathes. He gets a heavy scoff in response.
"I knew I would, since it comes so naturally, I thought why not lean into it?" her venomous tone pierces through his heart as she walks past him. She pats his shoulder the same way she did with the unsub, is skin aflame at the contact, even though she's mad at him.
A wine glass is perched between your fingers as you curl up on the jet. It's a celebratory drink, insisted by Morgan for your involvement in solving the case. You look out the window to the setting sun over the coast, the sparkling water. You take a deep breath before taking a long sip.
It's not soon after you take off that night falls, your teammates falling asleep in waves. One certain member hasn't, though. You feel Spencer's eyes on you as you make your way to the back of the jet, spilling out the remaining contents of your glass in the small sink at the bar.
You relent on your way back, the blaring anger you felt earlier dulled to a hum of frustration. He looks tired, vulnerable in his current state, curled up on the couch of the jet. You crouch in front of him, a delicate hand perched on his shoulder. His eyes meet yours in record time, regret flashing through them almost immediately.
Your heart aches, as if two large hands are squeezing as hard as they can. You've missed him. It doesn't feel right to celebrate your win without him. You push back a strand of hair that's fallen in front of his eye, and they gleam at your touch. You can't help but smile at his softness.
"Spence..." you start, but he cuts you off.
"I'm so, so sorry, honey," the words burst out of him. Your heart clutches at the pet name.
"It's okay," you smile meekly, but your acceptance is sincere all the same.
"No. No, it's not," he says as he sits up, facing you properly now. "I should have never said what I did, it was-it was awful of me. I never want to make you feel like that again."
"Why did you say it, Spencer?" you inquire, the breath robbed from your lungs, "it was so unlike you. It hurt, but it caught me by surprise more than anything."
His eyes squeeze shut at the confirmation that he'd hurt you, and you rest a delicate palm on his forearm. A sincere gesture now, compared to the hollow touches you'd doled out earlier.
"Spencer, I want you to talk to me," you whisper, and he shudders at the softness in your voice. You know he thinks he doesn't deserve your forgiveness.
"That guy, the way he looked at you, he looks nothing like me..." he trails off, and it clicks in your brain.
He wasn't mad at you for flirting, he was scared you were leading him on. That he wasn't as important as a guy who looked like that.
"Oh, Spence..." you can't help yourself, you plop right in his lap. You pull his neck into your shoulder, a deep hug as he breathes shakily.
"You're just so beautiful, any guy like that could have you. Yet you pay attention to me. Why?" he pulls back and looks up at you, eyes glimmering with unshed tears.
"Spencer, for one, that guy is being charged with fraud and murder in the first degree. Don't compare yourself to him," a teasing lilt laces your tone, and he groans playfully into your neck.
You cradle him for a moment, and can't help but notice how normal this feels, how right it is to be with him in this way. You're so in love with him. You have been ever since you first met him, and you need him to know.
"Spencer, you don't give yourself enough credit for how hot you really are," you smirk. He scoffs at that, an involuntary noise that almost wakes up the whole jet.
"Shhh!" you giggle, nails scraping the back of his scalp. You watch the way he shudders at the action, you give him another little scratch before continuing.
"You're so beautiful, Spencer," you cup his cheeks, pressing your forehead into his. "I'm sorry you don't see it."
"Do you see it?" he asks, and you know what he really means. Do you really love me? Or are you just being kind?
"Of course I do, Spencer. I see your kind eyes, your full lips, your hands..." you trail off, finding his hand splayed on your back. You grab it, putting your palm flat against his.
"My-my hands?" he laughs out in disbelief. His cheeks are tinted pink, and you don't think you've ever wanted anyone this bad in your entire life.
You nod. "Yeah, your hands, Spence. They're huge," you lace your fingers together then, and he shudders at the touch.
"But it's not only what's on the outside, though I do enjoy it so very much," he blushes even more profusely. You never want him to stop. "Your heart, Spence. It's so kind, and loving, and forgiving, I'm sorry you don't see yourself as enough. I'll spend as much time as you'll let me proving you wrong."
He looks you in the eye, then. His brows furrowed, lips pouted. The air between you thickens in the silence, your chests move up and down in time together.
"I love you," you whisper, and the shuddering breath that leaves Spencer's lips makes you want to cry.
He buries his face in your neck once more, the heat from his still-red cheeks radiating off of him.
"Oh, angel. I love you, too. I'm so sorry. I love you, I don't deserve you-"
You cut his rambling off with the sweetest kiss to his lips. He groans into it, pulling you closer into him with his hands.
"This dress, honey. I haven't been able to keep my eyes off you all day," he whispers in between kisses.
You let out the smallest whimper at that, the thought of driving him crazy just from your outfit giving you a confidence boost for the ages.
"Yeah?" you ask playfully, moving his hand to rest against a bare spot on your thigh. He looks up at you, submission gleaming in his eye as he nods.
You could just destroy him.
"If you guys start to hook up on this jet, I'm snitching," you and Spencer both jump at the voice coming from behind.
It's Morgan, sitting awake amongst the rest of the sleeping team. Your heart pounds from the shock, though a smile still splays across your face. Spencer looks the same, flushed but content, his cheeks bunching up around his eyes.
"It is about time. We've had a running pool throughout the whole office over who was gonna cave first. Looks like I'm getting a cut, thanks, pretty girl," Derek ruffles your hair as he walks past, going to make himself a coffee at the bar.
"Morgan!" Spencer whines, his head falling back against the couch.
You giggle, too in love to care that you were caught. You snake your arms around his neck, leaning in to whisper in his ear.
"We'll finish what we started when we get home," you're seductive in your tone, and you can tell you're successful from the goosebumps rising on his flesh.
He shivers as you move off his lap, settling into his side as you begin to descend on Quantico. A flight home has never felt so long.

animal, sick as they come
summary: Ghost has been starving his whole life. Never enough food to fill his stomach, never enough blood to cover his hands, always leaving him hungry and ready to snap. You’re the supposed solution to his problem, willing or not. (or: the kidnapped home chef au)
wc: 14.2k
cw: graphic nonconsensual sex, kidnapping but you’re lowkey chill about it, rough sex, pain play, dirty talk & light degradation, non-consensual spanking, rough/painful anal sex, gratuitous description of cooking/food written by someone who once lit a pot of boiling water on fire and is really just trying her best
read on ao3 - see the pinterest board
You may have never been kidnapped before, but you can’t imagine this is how it’s supposed to go.
The masked man looms in the doorway to the kitchen, shoulders so wide that he can’t stand in the opening properly because he wouldn’t even fit, the very top of his head hidden by the worn frame. He’s a beast of a man, hulking in every sense of the word, and you can’t help but wonder how he managed to sneak up on you in the first place. Surely you’re not that unaware of your surroundings? He’s easily 6’4, probably no less than three hundred pounds.
Not much time had passed since you’d woken in a dark room with a thudding pain between your temples, mouth dry and throat swollen. You were sure you’d been blindfolded at first, eyes dry and heavy, until ice-cold water splashed onto your face and your eyes flew open on instinct.
He’d just… been there. One minute you were walking home, trying to avoid large puddles and squinting through pouring rain, and the next you were shivering and scared, your captor towering over your crumpled and bound form.
You’d lost control of your bladder the moment the sight of him registered. He’d looked down, snorted, and lumbered away to find a hose.
You’d been inconsolable when he told you to strip, shaking with your sobs and keeping your arms wrapped tight around your chest. Even when he’d grunted ‘m not gonna fuck you when you reek of fuckin’ piss, you hadn’t been able to calm enough to follow his demands. It was only when he’d reached up to run a hand over his face and his shirt lifted just enough for you to get a glimpse of the piece on his hip that you’d been snapped away from your panic.
You can see the shape of it now, tucked in its holster. You’re fucking terrified that at any moment he could pull it out and end your life, like that. It would take hardly any effort at all. Just a twitch of the finger and bam, you go from captive to corpse.
“How long’ll it be?” The man grunts, massive arms crossed over his chest, breaking you out of your fearful stupor.
You blink at him, wide-eyed and silent. He’d given you clothes – clothes that fit, to your comfort and horror – so you’ve been spared the further indignity of forced nudity, but the extra layer doesn’t make you feel much safer.
He dips his chin when you don’t answer, dark eyes boring into yours. That only makes you clam up more, joints stiff.
He huffs. “Dinner. When’re you gonna fuckin’ feed me, bird?”
You stare at him, baffled. “What?” It’s the first word you’ve said to him without sobbing, and your voice trembles, shrill and weak.
He steps forward, angling his shoulders to fit into the room, fuck, and you skitter back, pressing yourself to the wooden cabinets. They’re tall, taller than the countertops in any house you’ve ever lived in, and the lip presses into the middle of your back.
“There’s food in the fridge,” he grunts. “Get to work.”
You’re not sure you could move even if you wanted to, your fight-or-flight instinct having settled firmly on freeze.
He rumbles low in his chest and plants one hand on the island in the center of the kitchen, leaning over it. He’s so tall that his head nearly reaches the other side of the counter, hardly a foot away from yours. The counters are the perfect height for him.
“What’s not clicking, girl?”
You pinch yourself, a quick twist of skin to make sure that this is all real and you’re not just trapped in the world’s most confusing nightmare.
“I-I don’t… you want me t-to cook? For you?” You manage, voice strangled.
He looks spectacularly unimpressed with your lack of understanding, and a distant part of you recognizes that you should probably be worried about making your captor displeased so quickly. However, the far larger part of you hasn’t had a rational thought since he hosed you down with freezing water and is still almost entirely useless.
He turns to the side to open his fridge, hand dwarfing the handle, and drops a chunk of frozen meat on the counter. It’s wrapped in brown parchment paper, a little string holding it closed. The fridge rattles with how harshly he closes the door and you can’t help but flinch.
If he weren’t closer to the exit than he is to you, you’d have bolted away the second he turned his back. But he’s close enough that he could reach out and grab you with one hand if you got to the doorway, and you can’t even bring yourself to think about what he might do if you were caught.
“Cook it.” He nods at the meat, voice bored like this is simple. Like it’s obvious, and your lack of understanding is an inconvenience that he’s rapidly losing patience with.
You listen, because it is obvious. He’s the captor, you’re the captive. At any moment, at the slightest whim, he could shoot you, strangle you, beat you, or a dozen worse things you can’t imagine for fear of ruining his dinner with your bile.
He has every advantage and you don’t have anything but the shapeless hoodie and sweatpants he gave you. Here, you are nothing and he is everything.
So with shaking hands and tears streaming down your face nearly the entire time, you listen.
You find a pan – he doesn’t help you and it’s incredibly awkward to try and dig around in unfamiliar cabinets without turning your back to him, but you manage it – and get the burner turned on. He steps out of the doorway again, still watching you from the hallway, and that gives you just enough bravery to inch towards the fridge, snatching the butter from it like he might lurch forward at any minute.
It’s a good cut of meat. A ribeye, think and with not much fat on it. You’ve worked in the resturaunt business for a long time and it’s obvious to you that this is cut by a local butcher, not some packing plant. This is fresh.
You have to stand with your back to the counter beside the stove to keep him in your eyeline. He doesn’t seem to mind, though the black balaclava covering him from scalp to neckline keeps almost all of his expressions a mystery to you.
“How do you want it?” You manage to ask, after what must be five minutes of psyching yourself up internally and darting your eyes between him and the meat.
“Rare,” he says, and you find that you’re not exactly surprised by his answer.
Basting the meat is the hardest part, but you manage. You’ve watched your father do this since you were born, spent countless nights in the corner of your parent’s restaurant watching line cooks and chefs and dishwashers and paying them all far more attention than you ever did your homework, nodding off in class the next day because the restaurant was open until eleven and your parents never once left early.
You could cook this meat in your sleep. Even with his minimal ingredients (he just shakes his head when you ask where the garlic is, and you quickly realize the only seasonings you have to work with are salt and pepper), you’re confident that the meat has come out tender and juicy, if flavorless.
There are no sides. No drinks. No dessert. If you’d made this meal for either one of your parents, they’d lecture you for so long that the steak would go stone cold.
You don’t have a plate to serve it on. When you ask tentatively about the dishes, voice hardly audible to even you, the man doesn’t answer.
He instead begins to stride towards you, sending you careening around the island to try and keep as far from him as possible, hips crashing into the sharp edges of the counter and socks slipping across the tile. He ignores you completely as he leans over the over, sniffing loudly.
You’ve thrown yourself, completely unintentionally, to the side of the counter with a large and well-stocked knife block. Before you even really think about it, you’re gripping a carving knife with both hands and holding it straight out in front of you, like you’re hoping he runs into you and impales himself. It’s probably your best bet, considering your knees are nearly knocking and barely holding you up.
He is entirely unconcerned by you. He grabs an oven mitt that was either always black or has been scorched so badly that it’s been darkened, the back of it split with its thin lining peeking out, and grabs the cast-iron by its handle, turning back to the rest of the kitchen.
He snorts when he sees you, the sound distinctly amused and unafraid. “You think you could hurt me? With that thing?”
You may be shaking in fear, the knife quivering in front of you even with your knuckles clenched so tight they nearly spasm, but you still manage to find yourself almost offended.
“I’ll stab you,” you threaten, voice quiet but the steadiest it’s been since you woke up in that damp basement. “I’ll do it.”
The cheeks of the balaclava pull up, the imprint of his lips clear throught the fabric as he smiles, an indent where his teeth must be. “Don’t think you’ll like what happens if you try, pet.”
He steps around the island again, striding for the door and completely dismissing you. At least, that’s what you think until he calls, “Follow,” over his shoulder, like you’re an animal being called to heel.
The dining room is visible from the kitchen, a section of one wall carved out so you can see into each room from the other. You only lose sight of him for a second before he reappears on the other side of the wall, heading to sit at the table.
The room has a horrible dark red carpet, the walls the same old-fashioned panneling as the hallway he’d dragged you down hardly an hour earlier. He seats himself at the head of a small rectangular table. It’s the only chair in the room despite the fact that five more could easily fit at the table, one leg shorter than the other. There’s nothing on the walls, no decor anywhere, just one table and one chair for one man.
You linger in the doorway, shifty and nervous, halfway to rushing back to the kitchen if only for some deluded sense of familiarity you’ve already built.
“Don’t make me chase you,” he warns, eyes narrowing into a brief glare before he drops the pan in front of himself, silverware already set at his place, cast iron still smoking. “Neither of us’ll like it if you ruin my meal, bird.”
Then, he digs in.
You’ve seen a lot of people eat. More people than you can count, in fact. You’ve seen them eat good food, bad food, life-changingly good and life-changingly bad food. As a child you’d been fascinated by the expressions on customers’ faces when they tried something new for the first time.
A woman with her eyes squeezed shut and eyebrows raised high as she bites into a new chocolate cake recipe your mother spent weeks making you taste test, moaning so loudly her husband had blushed. A man nearly collapsing over his bowl of soup on a cold winter day, just barely keeping his tie from falling into it as he desperately shoveled another bite into his mouth. You’ve seen people cry over your father’s wagyu, pepper your mother’s face with kisses after tasting her dacquoise.
This man eats like none you’ve ever seen before.
He’s like an animal. It takes him just a second to push his mask up to his nose, revealing pale skin decorated with atrophic and keloid scars both, then he’s pulling the pan as close to his chest as he can and hunching over it like a predator guarding its kill.
He seems entirely unworried about burning his wrists on the edges of the pan, instead focused on tearing his steak into barely bite sized pieces with his fork and messily rubbing it in the extra butter still pooling in the bottom of the pan.
He doesn’t even pick the first piece up with his fork. He pinches it between two fingers and pushes it between thin, scarred lips, ignoring what must be a burn on his fingertips. He chews twice, then swallows. His digits shine under the low light of his dining room, juice from the meat dripping down his fingers to cover his hand, nails choppy and with a little piece of fat stuck under one until he digs it out with his tooth.
You gape as he does it again and again, pushing two, then three pieces into his mouth at once as he works through the meat.
It was a massive steak. It took more than half an hour to cook, if the clock on his stove is right. It’s gone in less than five minutes.
He moans as he eats, nearly pornographic in a way that makes you shift in discomfort. The steak is rare enough that the juice dripping from it is pink, the meat itself a brighter color than the man’s thin lips. Juice sluices down his chin as he chews with his mouth open, bits of the meat caught between crooked teeth.
When he gets to the last piece of the cut, half of it submerged in butter, he holds it in front of himself for just a moment. Then, he turns to you for the first time since he left the kitchen.
His lips are flat, expressionless, as he holds the piece of steak up in front of himself. His elbow is planted firmly on the table to keep his hand in his eyeline, and he looks at you expectantly, silent.
Your stomach growls, loud enough for him to hear. His lips twitch up in a smirk before he smothers it. You glare. You have no idea how long the drugs knocked you out for, how many days it’s been since your breakfast omlette. Standing over the oven, smelling the steak as it cooked, has made you hungry.
The two of you are silent as you inch forward, hardly daring to lift your feet from the carpet. It doesn’t take you very long to reach the table, not when the room is as small as it is.
You shift the knife to just your dominant hand, your now free hand reaching forward slowly as you keep your eyes trained on his. The steak is still so hot that steam is still curling from the pink center of it, right between his eyes. He’s still as a statue.
Then, the second your fingertips brush the meat, he snatches it back, slipping it between his lips.
You flinch back as your mouth drops open, offended and startled by his sudden movement. Your fist tightens around the knife, no longer so limp at your side.
He chews with his mouth open, smiling meanly at you. His teeth are stained pink from the juices, and you think for a moment that it almost looks like his gums are melting.
“Forget your manners, pet?’ He asks, only swallowing once he’s finished talking.
You wince at the lack of manners, your p’s and q’s brow beaten into you with a stiff wooden spoon to the back of your hand when you were young, shocked to see someone ignore what you’ve always seen as instinctual and then ask you about manners. “What?”
He leans forward in his seat, greasy hand set on his jean-clad knee. “You didn’t say please.”
You blink at him, caught in some sort of trance that you have no idea how to pull yourself out from. “Oh.”
He sits, still and silent, for several long moments, belly rising and falling beneath his folded fingers, before speaking again. “You’ll call me Ghost while you’re here.”
Your brows furrow a bit but you nod, fingers trembling where they rest limp against your thighs, knife almost entirely forgotten in this almost-hypnosis he’s dragged you into. You can’t quite make your lips move enough to give him a verbal answer, but he seems to accept the nod.
He snorts, eyes narrowed as he looks at you. He doesn’t even have to tilt his head up even though he’s the one sitting. The realization makes you sweat, something hot igniting low in your belly.
Before you even register that Ghost is moving, he’s snatched the knife from your now-slackened grip. He drops it into the pan immediately, the handle and blade both becoming drenched in the butter.
You’d nearly forgotten you even had the knife but the lack of it now drags the fear back up your throat, makes your heartbeat louder and your fingertips colder.
“Don’t need that,” he grunts, leaning back and folding his hands over his belly, fingers sliding against the fabric and already staining. This close, you can see that it hangs over the hem of his pants just enough to cover the button. You swallow thickly.
“‘S good,” Ghost says, looking you up and down. Just like in the kitchen, the chair and table here are taller than what you used to, like they were tailor made for your captor instead of bought from a store. You’re only barely taller than him even as he sits, but he somehow still manages to make you feel like he’s looking down on you.
There’s something in you that keeps you from backing away, even though being hardly a foot away from him makes the backs of your eyes sting with tears. It’s like your feet have sunk through the floor, like you’re up to your knees in shag carpeting and you can’t even try to get yourself out until the behemoth before you looks away.
“Congratulations, girl,” he rumbles, lips quirked up into a mean smile. “You just bought yourself a life, right here with me.”
You can’t stop the tears from falling, shaking hands clapped to your mouth in a fruitless attempt to muffle your sob.
Ghost leans forward, smile growing when you stumble back until the small of your back meets the half-wall. “What’re you cryin’ about, doll?” He lowers his voice, like he’s sharing a joke with you. “Think I won’t treat my new pet well?”
Your heart feels like it’s going to beat so hard it gives out, its galloping thump felt even in your teeth, gums numbing. Your tears blur your vision, but you can see enough to know when he stands from his set, the chair creaking as he scuffs towards you.
He comes into focus when he crouches in front of you, his knees hovering just above your naked feet, toes curling into the carpet in a futile attempt to get as far from him as you can.
“I won’t,” he says lowly, hot breath gusting over your face and lighting your nerves on fire. “Not until you earn it. Y’hear me?”
Whimpers eek through your fingers at his words. There’s something in his eyes that still looks hungry, little drops of grease dripping from Ghost’s fingers to your toes, and it makes you feel like prey just inches away from the predator’s jaw.
His hand darts out, smacking your clothed thigh and making you yelp.
“Don’t fuckin’ ignore me,” he snarls, sharp and sudden anger upon him like a wave, your thigh stinging from his hit.
You nod as soon as the chain of words connects in your brain to mean something, head bobbing up and down quickly in desperation to avoid any more physical contact.
His eyes narrow, unimpressed. “Repeat it, then.”
“I have to–” you cut yourself off, breath suddering out of you almost painfully. “I have to earn it.”
“Earn what?”
Exasperation mixes with terror, eyelids straining to stay widened, unwilling to miss another twitch from him.
Think I won’t treat my new pet well? He’d said. You have to earn it.
You can’t think of a way to distill that down into a singular answer, not quick enough for him, at least.
“I don’t– I don’t know,” you sob.
His movement is slow this time, but it’s no more possible for you to avoid his touch than it was when you hadn’t seen anything coming. His hand drags into your hair, nails catching on scalp, and he tugs your head back, slamming it into the wall.
“Everything,” he hisses, the fabric covering his nose brushing against yours, snot sliding down your fingers. “You earn everything here. You work for it all. Get it?”
You can hardly nod this time, his fingers tightening around the strands of your hair and pulling at your scalp, but thankfully it’s enough for him.
“Good,” he spits, leaning back and standing, dragging you with him.
Once you’re standing, half crouched to try your best to ease the pain rippling from your head but pushed up on your toes so his hand isn’t practically lifting you, Ghost grabs you by the elbow instead and drags you out of the room before you can even fully realize what’s happening.
He grabs you in the exact spot he had when he’d dragged you to the kitchen in the first place, each finger laid precisely where there were already bruises emerging. His grip so tight you can’t even think of trying to rip away – you imagine your arm would come off your body before Ghost’s hand came off of you.
He drags you from the dining room and down a small hallway. From what you’ve seen of the house, and what you can remember that isn’t clouded over by a haze of panic, the floor-plan is closed off, more claustrophobic than anything else.
Every room seems connected by a new hallway and they're each thin enough that you couldn’t walk by the man’s side – the two of you might not even be able to walk chest to chest without somehow getting wedged between the wood-panneling, considering the bulk of him.
Your toes drag, catching on the warped wood floor as he pulls you behind him. Your hands are wrapped around his wrist in a wasted but desperate attempt to keep everything below his grip from going numb, leaving your choking whines and sobs and pleas to rush out of you, voice bouncing off the panneled walls.
Ghost ignores you entirely, doesn’t even seem to notice when you dig your nails into his skin and you try your best to yank.
You start to grasp at the walls, trying to slow his stride in whatever way you can. You have no idea where he’s taking you, no idea what you’d do even if you did somehow manage to break free from him, but you try nonetheless.
He doesn’t react, no matter how much you scream and hiss, no matter how much you claw and kick and make your body dead weight, nearly breaking your wrist from the way you yank and twist.
It’s only when your fingers catch on the edge of something thin that you’re given a tangible thing to wrap your hope around.
You only realize it’s a picture frame once you’ve already yanked it from the wall, the photo itself a complete mystery to you.
It’s the adrenaline that makes you pull back and slam the frame glass-first into the side of his head, reaching up as high as you can to make contact. There’s a horrible crack when glass meets fabric, a screech when you drag it down the side of his face, glass catching on mask and skin and more glass.
Ghost doesn’t let you go but he does stumble into the wall, grunting like a bull and batting your opportune weapon like it’s hardly more than an annoying mosquito, sending it crashing to the ground despite your death grip.
He falls back into the wall, tugs you with him with enough force to nearly knock you off your feet, your head a mix of fear and victory and adrenaline and pain and more fear, coherent thoughts a far-off dream.
“Little fuckin’ cunt,” you hear him spit, heavy boot smashing fallen glass into further pieces as he turns to press you against the wall with his body, heavy and hot against you.
His eyes are raging, scarred lips curled to bare his teeth and little pieces of glass sticking from his skin and balaclava.
You only have about four drops of blood to speak of for your desperate attack, and with your kidnapper furious and holding you down all you can manage to think is why the fuck did I do that? What was I thinking?
There’s no room for anything but shame when you’re staring down the barrel of God only knows what he’ll deicde to do to you.
“Off to a bad fuckin’ start,” he hisses, spittle landing across your cheeks. “Thought I’d be nice to you. Send you off to sleep with hardly a damn scratch.”
Ghost snarls, shakes his head like a beast shaking off fleas. Glass goes flying around his head. You can hardly breathe.
“Tha’s not good enough for you, is it?” He says, hand coming up to lock around your throat. You’d cry out if he left you enough air, but he’s squeezing so tight you can barely get enough breath to stay conscious.
“You need a heavy hand, ‘s that it, pet? Need someone to show you what happens when you fuckin’ misbehave?” He pulls your head a few inches away from the wall on the last word, slamming you back enough to rattle your brain in your skull, eyes unfocused and hardly seeing and unable to groan with his hand squeezing your airway shut.
You try to shake your head, can’t manage to do anything more than shift with the grip on your throat. You think, briefly, about how he could snap your neck with one hand. His palm rests over your vocal chords, fingertips pressing against the nape of your neck. A flick of his wrist and you’d be dead. You think your heart may give out, overwhelmed and unable to keep up with everything Ghost is drawing from you, spitting at you.
Capture myopathy, a friend told you once, sitting beside you in a required biology class only one of you was interested in. When a rabbit is so scared that their heart gives out on them and they die. Just like that. Snap. Easy dinner for a fox. Isn’t that sick?
Sick. She’d said. This, you think, is sicker than anything a fox could do to a rabbit.
“You’re lucky your meat was good,” he says, tone calming into something less rageful and more frustrated, hand loosening enough to let you breathe more easily but still keeping you from speaking. “Don’t mind trainin’ you up knowin’ you’ll be an investment. Just need some work, huh?”
You try your best to nod, eager to pick training over certain death any day.
He hums, thumb stroking the crease of your skin between neck and shoulder and you can’t stop your shiver.
“Don’t worry, bird.” His teeth gleam when he flashes them, finally leaving your space. He practically throws you in front of him with the hand on your neck, letting it shift to wrap around your nape so he can guide you forward. “I’ve had pets before. All those tears tell me you’ll at least be easier to break in than the boy was.”
You only have a brief moment to wonder who the fuck the boy is, if he’s in this house, and what that could possible mean for you, before Ghost is nudging open a rickety door and nudging you down the stairs.
He lets you go once you’re firmly on the narrow staircase and taking slow, tentative steps out of fear you’ll miss one in the dark. Ghost takes his hand from you, looming as you make your leaden-footed way down.
You can’t stop your sniffles or your tears, terrified of the nightmares that must be waiting at the bottom of the staircase and back in the basement you’d woken up in. You know some of what waits for you, what the room will look like and what will be in it – Ghost had been with you since he dragged you to the kitchen, there would’ve been no time for him to change anything – but you’ve got no idea what training means or what Ghost will do to you when your feet hit concrete.
You don’t move any further into the room when you reach the bottom, Ghost easily stepping around you and choosing to ignore you in favor of looking for whatever he’s decided he needs. The sight of a small carabiner with keys latched to one of his belt loops makes your idea of running back up to the door leave as quick as it comes.
“Over here,” Ghost calls, back turned to you as he crouches down and fiddles with something at the wall.
You don’t move, feet anchored to the floor.
He huffs when he doesn’t hear you following him, shifting one knee to rest on the ground so he can turn over his shoulder and level you with an unimpressed look.
“You really want to make me come get you?” He rumbles, and the threat is enough to get you rushing forward then pulling to just as sudden as stop just out of his arm’s reach.
It doesn’t matter much, you can’t really do anything to stop him when Ghost’s arm darts back to grab you by the knee, his torso leaning back to get a hand on you and tugging you forward.
You can’t keep yourself from falling to your knees right at his side, nothing around for you to grab onto other than him and even looking at a face-full of concrete you know not to make any unnecessary contact with Ghost, not if you can help it.
The weight around your neck is sudden and unexpected, his quick movements around your head even moreso. You don’t even have enough time to decide if it would be worth it to try and fight him off before there’s a resolute click, and he’s pulling back with something thick wrapped around his knuckles.
It’s a chain. Silver, hardly a hint of rust on it, thick and well-kept, and leading right back up to your neck.
You don’t put it together until shaky hands come up to press around the- the collar. Thick leather, two or three inches wide, just tight enough that you can feel it on every exhale.
A collar. A collar with a chain leash, heavy enough that you can feel the hint of pressure pulling you towards Ghost, the length of the chain that’s not tight in his fist resting in loops by his boot.
You can’t do anything but stare up at him, wide eyed and trembling, can’t begin to think of what to do before he’s standing and tugging you with him.
“Here now,” he grunts, not bothering to give you any time to get to your feet. You sort of stumble after him, knee scraping the ground as your head is jerked along. You can’t let yourself lag at all, not unless you want to get dragged along by your neck.
You feel like you’re moving through quicksand, every move only making things worse for you. Every forced step forward is another step closer to him, every jerk of your head pulls at the hair stuck in the back of the collar that he hadn’t bothered to move before locking it onto you, every panicked breath only serves to keep your breathing short and hitched.
Ghost drops himself onto the small cot pressed against the wall, it’s metal legs creaking under his weight. You can’t straighten fully with how short he keeps the chain, which leves you in a terribly vulnerable hunched position, eye-level with his stomach and bent at the waist, knee throbbing.
“Over my knee,” he rumbles, voice quiet. “Get this over with.”
You stare up at him with wide eyes, panting open-mouthed, drooling. A panicked animal with its leg caught in a trap, unable to do anything but stare up at the jaws closing around its body.
“Please,” you beg, voice hardly a whisper. “Don’t hurt me.”
His eyes are hard behind the mask, mouth a firm line as he looks down at you. You can feel your heartbeat in your throat beneath the thick leather.
Ghost doesn’t give you another chance to obey. One quick jerk of his hand and you’re toppeling forward, choking on spit and holding your hands out to catch yourself.
He manhandles you quickly – one hand on the chain yanking it further down, head forced lower than his knee while his other hand grabs you by the hips and hefts you on top of him, elbow jamming itself between your thighs while blood rushes to your head.
You yelp, legs kicking out as you push at the bed with one hand, the rough ground with the other, throwing your head back and forth as much as you can with the leash giving you almost no room to move.
“Settle,” Ghost hisses. You don’t listen, can’t listen with the way panic alone rules your mind, and in response he lands a harsh smack on the center of your ass, enough to push you forward a few inches.
Your pleas come to a sudden stop, breath stuck in your throat as you absorb the pain, a noticeable sting even through the sweatpants.
“You’re gettin’ fifty,” he grunts when you’ve gone silent, tucking two fingers in the back of your pants and tugging them down, lifting up one knee to lift your torso so he can yank them to your waist. “Take ‘em, then we’re done.”
“No, no, please, God,” you choke, one hand flying to your mouth and pressing against it. Tears stream down your face, cheeks blazing with heat, a horrible mix of terrified and humiliated that leaves you all but limp over his legs.
Ghost snorts above you and you jump when you feel his cold hand make a pass over the fat of your ass. “Won’t be thinkin’ that much longer.”
You only have a brief moment to think hysterically is he making a joke right now? before there’s a horrible pain on your ass, the smack loud in the otherwise silent room.
It takes a second for the pain to hit you, but when it does you yowl. You push up on his thigh with both hands as another smack rains down, pulling as hard as you can against the chain.
“Stop, stop, stop it!” You screech, toes sliding uselessly against the cement as you writhe, all of your struggles doing absolutely nothing to stop his hand from falling again, this time right on the center of both cheeks.
“Y-You can’t- you can’t d-do this!” You wail, throat filled with tears and snot as you realize you can’t even get close to standing, not with his grip on the chain as immovable as it is. “Stop!”
His next smack is his hardest, his grip around the chain loosening at just the right time to allow you to be sent sprawling over his lap, sobbing at the pain that lights up your backside. It hurts, and now your forehead is nearly pressed to the floor, leaving you completely off balance.
Ghost grunts as he shifts one of his legs, tucking your flailing limbs between his thighs and forcing you to be bent over just the one thigh, knees hovering inches off the ground.
“Stop your fuckin’ wailin’, Christ,” he hisses, peppering you with more spanks, each of them as hard as the last and forcing all the air out of your lungs. “Damn lucky this is all you’re gettin’. I should make you count ‘em, start over every time you get one wrong.”
You cry out at that, wriggling desperately and only serving to push your ass further into the air, trapped on both ends.
“We’d be here all damn night,” Ghost mutters to himself, hardly audible over your fit. “One picture ain’t worth bruisin’ my hand over.”
Your feet just barely brush against his thighs when you manage to kick up, but you’re embarrassed to find that you don’t have the strength to do much more than hang limply in his hold, one hand reluctantly wrapped around his calf to keep yourself from falling to the floor.
Your tears and sobs don’t stop as he continues his assault on your ass, but there’s a part of you that almost… settles. Not into the pain, not when he’s smacking you hard enough to jolt your body forward and make you wail at every new touch, but into the steadiness of his smacks.
He doesn’t wait more than a second between hits, each spank no heavier or lighter than the last. It hurts, hurts worse than anytime you’ve burned or cut yourself in the kitchen, but after the first minute or so your body comes to expect what’s coming.
That doesn’t make it any easier to handle. You couldn’t stop your crying if you tried, like his hand is resting on your tearducts instead of your ass, squeezing every bit of moisture out of your eyes.
He stops at some point, hand resting on your cheeks. He squeezes, nails digging in deep, and pulls your cheeks apart. You sniffle at the indignity, free hand covering your eyes as your face crumples.
“Half way through now,” Ghost says, ignoring the way you cry out. You can’t imagine taking one more hit, let alone twenty five.
He shifts back on the cot and for a moment you have absolutely no idea what’s happening. It’s not until he not-so-gently readjusts your legs, his own laid out flat in front of him with his feet hanging off the cot, your body readjusted so you’re lying properly over his thighs.
It’s more comfortable, certainly, but you’re not sure you want comfortable right now. It feels impossible to imagine the brute above you as thinking of your comfort, completely analogous to his actions and leaving you a confused and weak mess.
Ghost shifts his hand along with the rest of him, dropping the chain entirely in favor of resting a heavy palm on the back of your neck, equally as effective at keeping you still. He doesn’t say anything, doesn’t comment on your heaving breaths or shaking thighs, just lets you breathe with your hands curled beneath your chest and your forehead pressed to the thin sheet covering the cot.
The next spank catches you completely off guard, your body having gone limp and leaving you unprepared for the sudden pain. It reignites your sobbing, your throat on fire from all the screaming you’ve done. You can hear your voice crack as you absorb the pain, shoulder shaking.
“Christ,” Ghost sighs, hand briefly leaving your ass.
He’s lifting you by your hair a moment later, thick fingers laced through the tresses as he pulls your head back and stuffs something in your mouth. You whimer at the feeling, tongue working at the frankly disgusting taste, brows furrowed.
“Keep that there,” he orders, and you just barely get a glance of the side of his head before he’s shoving you back down, face-first. You realize, blinking slowly, that he’s shoved his mask in your mouth. “Can’t be bothered to teach you to shut the hell up, gonna hafta work on that once you learn how to behave.”
He spanks you again and this time your sob is muffled as you bite down on the fabric and grind it between your teeth.
His pace is slower now, hand more thudding than stinging. It feels like he’s putting his weight behind every smack, each one delivered with what you’re sure is bruising force. Though truly you can’t tell much of a difference, not with your whole ass already feeling like it’s on fire.
It gets harder and harder to differentiate between new and old pain as he lays brutal spanks over spots that are already hot and throbbing, varying the strength of each smack this time. You sink into the pain, limp and unable to do anything but take it.
“Better,” Ghost says, the rough pads of his fingers rubbing your scalp when you jerk at the sound of his voice. His next hit lands on the crease between your thigh and your ass, but your whine is almost silent. “Can hear myself think now, for one.”
Another smack, and your body doesn’t even jerk this time. You’re not even fully present in yourself, mind floating. You don’t quite feel like an outside observer, more like you’re just a few inches removed from the situation. All your sensations feel dulled, and you bear the pain as best you can.
“Can enjoy the sight too,” you hear him say, and suddenly there are pauses between each smack, a little break Ghost takes to rub your glowing ass and thighs as much as he wants before laying another handprint across your soft skin.
“‘S too bad I don’t fuck where I eat,” he muses, and you groan into the mask at a particularly rough hit. “You don’t take much fightin’. I like that in a girl. Go down real easy with a firm hand, don’t you?”
You shake your head as best as you can, which really isn’t much at all. He snorts at your effort, tightens his fingers to keep your head still.
You’re sapped of all energy, unable to move even as his punishing spanks linger lower on your ass, and even when he bullies a hand between your thighs and spreads your legs.
“Look at that,” he says, voice low. You can feel it through his stomach, goosebumps racing from your ribs to the rest of you. “Dirty girl, are you?”
You’ve got enough wherewithal to try and squeeze your legs shut when his fingers prod at your center, yanked back into your body at the sharp turn from painful to… something else.
He strokes two fingers over your slit, and you groan at just how much slick you can feel him spreading. You have no idea when it happened, have no idea why it happened, but you’re drenched between your thighs. Your cunt feels as hot as your ass, and the realization yanks a horrible little whine from you.
“Guess that wasn’t much of a punishment,” Ghost muses, spreading your lips and letting cool air ghost over you. You feel him blow a breath across you and struggle more than you have since he’d laid you flat across him, knees coming to tuck up under yourself.
“No,” he says simply, landing a horrible, smarting slap to your pussy. It sends you flat to your tummy again, squirming against him and wailing through the pain. It hurts. “Down, girl. No strugglin’ now.”
He only continues to stroke you, now pushing the steadily dripping wetness from your clit to your asshole, making you tense and writhe where you’re pinned, his order ignored.
“Think I’ll do the last few here,” he says, landing another harsh smack to your center, this time focused on your clit. “Make sure you remember your lesson.”
He doesn’t wait any longer, just begins to lay quick, harsh slaps all across your cunt – your spread lips, your hole itself, your clit. Once, even, on your bottom hole, digging his nails into your stinging cheeks to spread you wide for him.
It hurts more than any of the smacks to your ass did, undeniably, but you’re sapped of all energy and find yourself hardly able to cry, let alone struggle. You’re too busy being swept away in a maelstrom of pain-pleasure you’ve never experienced before to even try defending yourself.
Your only option is to lie still and wait for him to finish with you. So that’s all you do.
It feels like it’s been an eternity when he finally stops.
The hand near your ass gropes you firmly, pinching what you can already feel are tiny little raised spots from where his palm landed the hardest.
You don’t have the energy to even think of struggling when he finally moves you off him, letting you flop uselessly to the cot as he moves out from under you. There’s the sound of metal clinking, the tension from the collar finally eased as he lets it go completely.
He doesn’t bother to pull your pants up, but he does nudge your legs closed. It’s a bit of decency you didn’t expect from him.
You can’t do much more than blink wearily at him as Ghost reaches to tug his mask from your mouth, lip curling in disgust at the drops of saliva that fall from it. Good, you think. That’s just the start of what you deserve, bastard.
He crouches in front of you a moment later, bringing his face into full focus in front of you.
He’s… not traditionally attractive, that’s for sure. Even your defeated and exhausted mind can recognize that you would’ve avoided this man had you seen him on the street. Probably would’ve even risked being seen as rude and crossed to another sidewalk before he walked past you. Seeing as this is where you’ve ended up, your instincts wouldn’t have been wrong about him.
He’s got a square head and blond hair buzzed close to the scalp. The scars you’d seen across his cheeks and jaw extend further up his face, something textured across his temple that you can’t guess the cause of, eyebrows patchy and only half-grown in from burns, little bumps decorating his scalp.
But there’s something captivating about him. In his eyes, maybe, such a dark blue that you can only tell they’re not brown because he’s hardly a foot from you. There’s something about him that says look at me. Don’t forget where I am.
Though maybe, you think deliriously, you’re only thinking that because he’s the captor who just spanked your ass raw and dragged his fingers through your cunt.
“Rule one,” Ghost rumbles quietly, breath gusting over your lips. “You hurt me, I hurt you. Heard?”
It takes all the energy you have left to nod, eyes falling shut even as the little prey voice in the back of your head screams at the danger so near, never mind that you haven’t been able to do anything to keep him from you. You’re too loud to listen to the voice anyways, only a very distant part of you acknowledging it as you slip into a sort of half-sleep.
You don’t hear him leave.
From there you settle, bizarrely, into a routine.
Every day begins with you waking up in the basement. Always before Ghost comes to get you, some primal instinct buried deep knowing that you need enough time every morning to brace yourself for seeing him.
He locks the chain, the leash, to a hook on the wall a couple feet above your cot every night, the key to the padlock always left on him. The chain is long enough to give you plenty of room to roll and shift in bed at night but it’s too short for you to reach the small bathroom across the basement. There’s no clock for you to keep track of time with but you spend what must be half an hour every morning just sitting on the cot, waiting for Ghost to come get you.
He’s always nearly stumbling when he comes down the basement stairs to fetch you, sleep keeping his bones heavy. It’s only in the mornings when you see him with his shoulders hunched, movements weighted down, any other time he’s perfectly alert.
You think, at first, that your best shot at trying to hurt him would be in those early mornings when he’s groggy and slow moving, but Ghost never lets you off the chain when he’s like that. It’s always after he’s stiffened up, shoulders rolling back and permanent-scowl firmly back in place.
He’ll unhook the chain from the wall first, rarely saying a word as he half-drags-half-leads you over to the bathroom, doesn’t let you close the door while you do your business and shower.
(There’s a way he looks at you in the morning, when he’s at his rawest. Something animal and hungry in a way you don’t see even when you serve him his meals, pupils blown and lingering on your curves, unabashedly staring at your ass when you glance over your shoulder at him.
It had been terrible, at first, to get naked in front of him. He’d just stare, and most days you could see his hardness tenting his pants. Hell, some days he came down the stairs with his cock making itself plenty known, not a speck of shame in him.
You’d once listened to him jack himself off while you were in the shower. You’d had to step over the puddle of cum on the tile when he’d tugged you out of the room, nearly slipped into it when he’d pulled you just a little more harshly than usual.)
The chain stays in the basement, always unlatched from your throat along with the collar before he shepherds you up the creaky stairs, never much more than a foot or two away from you.
Then, breakfast.
It had taken a while for you to really believe him after he’d said you were only there to cook. What kind of person kidnaps a woman just to keep her as a private chef? But days went by where he never once touched you any more than necessary to get the collar on and off, his only reaction to your body a seemingly unintentional erection and usually ignored when you were naked.
Days, weeks pass where all you do is cook. Three meals a day, snacks when he’s hungry (which seems to be always).
Ghost’s cabinets were bare the first week of your captivity. He had enough meat in his freezer to last him months, but little else. There was a loaf of bread on the counter, a few condiments in the fridge with crusted lids and misshaped bottles, and some cans of soup in the pantry. Nothing else. He’d drop a cut of meat on the counter and expect you to work with it and seemed plenty content when you served him the blandest roast chicken of your life.
It took you three days until you worked up the nerve to ask him to go grocery shopping. It was the first thing you said to him that wasn’t a plea for your freedom.
You’d been terrified that you’d end up face down ass up over his thighs again, your ass still bruised from his first punishment and his subsequent much quicker corrections. But he’d hardly reacted, had just given you a piece of paper and a short pencil with bite-marks on the eraser, told you to write what you thought you needed.
He locked you in the basement for hours (you tracked the sun through the sole window as best you could, left behind fear and anger for boredom around what you guessed was the three hour mark) when he left. Briefly, you’d regretted asking in the first place. If the bastard wanted to eat nothing but protein and die of a nutrient deficiency, who were you to stop him? It would serve him right.
But you have nightmares, sometimes, of being stuck in the basement. Your captor dead in his bed, fallen to the bathroom floor with his head cracked open, bleeding out in the forest one of the times he goes off hunting. And you, stuck here, chained to a wall. No key, no way out, no one to find you.
A part of you had breathed a sigh of relief when he came home, letting you up to the kitchen and supervising while you dug through the plastic bags and put everything where you wanted it.
He doesn’t… do much during the days, is the thing.
He goes hunting, sometimes. You find that that seems to be his most consistent outing. He’ll spend hours out there at a time, sometimes coming back with nothing and other times coming back with a twelve-point buck you watch him drain through the kitchen window. He also has to keep his weapons – his many, many weapons – in shape, and you find that it’s not rare to spend an afternoon watching him clean guns or sharpen knives.
You enjoy his hunting moods most. He’ll disappear for hours on end to even find his kill, then spend days skinning and preparing the meat, then doing whatever it is he does in his shed with the bits of the body he doesn’t bring you to cook. Those days spent in the forest or the shed for him guarantee you hours of time alone, which isn’t nearly so miserable when he doesn’t keep you in the basement.
Sometimes he goes out after dinner. You’ll hear the front door slam shut after he locks you up in the basement, his truck’s old engine loud enough to be obvious when he revs it. You’re never sure where he goes, who he might even go with since he never takes calls, but you also have little interest in asking.
But most nights he watches TV. Almost exclusively old VHS recordings of The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Password, and shows so out-of-date you’re sure you could count the pixels on the screen. He’ll roll himself a blunt and relax into an old recliner with cracked leather, eyes half-lidded and hazy.
(You watched him rest a hand in his pants, once. He hadn’t even been focusing on the TV, eyes far away and breathing heavy as he stroked himself slowly beneath his jeans. You don’t even think he finished, he was just… relaxing. You’d decided to just be glad he wasn’t coming after you for that job.)
Sometimes he’ll watch the same Manchester United games every night for a week straight, grunt approvingly or shout at the TV at the same points no matter how many times you’ve seen him watch it. By the end of your first month in his captivity, you could guess who scored every goal in the team’s 2012 championship game. You have absolutely no idea why he doesn’t just turn on the newest games.
You learn quickly that Ghost mounted a hook to nearly every wall in the house, and that he’s not shy about chaining you in the same place for hours at a time and leaving you to your own non-existent devices while he lumbers off. You spend the most time in the kitchen, undoubtedly, but you find that the horrible plush carpet in his living room isn’t too uncomfortable to sit on either.
It doesn’t take many days for your fear to turn to boredom, is the thing. Absolute, complete, mind-numbing boredom. There’s simply nothing to do but watch Ghost, and for a kidnapper he’s turned out to be spectacularly uninteresting.
He’d laid out the rules in the first few days. You hurt him, he hurts you. Listen to his orders, don’t make him repeat himself. Don’t try to escape, you won’t find anyone to help anyway and he doesn’t want to chase you down. Don’t try to fuck with the food you make him, he expects good meals consistently.
It had been the third you’d struggled most with, though you could hardly blame yourself. You’d thought he was going to make you bleed when he caught you trying to throw yourself out of a recently-broken window.
He’d taken you over his lap a few more times for smaller infractions too. To make sure the lessons stick, he’d said. They did. Ghost hits hard, and even after just his first punishment you’d been plenty cowed. You don’t give him many reasons to punish you again.
The bright spots in your life are, as they have always seemed to be, food orientated.
There’s a part of you that hates how much time you think of ways to quite literally serve him, but you have nothing else to do. He may enjoy his shows, but after about two weeks you think you may go insane if you have to focus on much more Tom Kennedy in an other-wise silent house.
You spend long hours staring out his windows at the foggy forest surrounding the cabin, running through the recipes you’d wanted to try before you’d been taken, notes for your parents’ dishes that were never listened to, plans on what you could make for Ghost himself with what he would provide.
And he does. Provide, that is. He provides plenty.
The fifth day of your captivity, he drops a chicken carcass on the wood island. Whole, unplucked, the blood from its neck still drying.
“I can’t…” You start, hesitating at the doorway to the kitchen as he moves further in. “I’m not a butcher. I can’t cook it like that.”
Ghost looks over at you, mask covering his expression. You find that it’s a fifty-fifty chance he doesn’t pull it on in the morning, dependent on some factor you’re not allowed to know.
“I’ll cut it up,” he grunts, turning his back to you and tugging a drawer open, digging around noisily. “Don’t need you to do anythin’ but cook it.”
You shift from foot to foot as he turns back to the bird, empty trash bag at his side and carving knife in his hand.
For a man who you’ve always assumed to be inept in the kitchen, he handles the bird like a professional. He has it plucked in less than a minute, his mess minimal.
His butchering is less impressive, though no less effective. He’s a bit of a slob with his cuts, reckless with his knife in a way that has you craning your neck to see just how much breast is left on the bone.
Ghost is slow-moving, careful in a way you’ve never seen him when he pops the thigh from the leg joint. It must’ve been a well-fed bird during its life, there’s plenty of meat for his thumb to dig into as he carefully rotates and pulls, not too much strength but not too little. A balance he seems to struggle to find before the thigh finally pops away from the body easily, and he moves on.
It’s… intimate is the wrong word, but it’s not far off. His hands – damp from being washed, something you’d been glad to see him do without you needing to draw his attention back to you – are shiny with the bird’s juices covering them, his thick fingers brutalizing the delicate, pale meat. The job is done quickly and cleanly enough to leave you plenty of meat.
He doesn’t butcher it completely for you. He leaves the wing connected to the breast, the breast and the tenderloin one large piece of meat when he lays his carving knife on the counter. His most precise cuts are around the oysters, each of them dug out and set to the side quickly.
It’s not a quiet process, his knife cutting through bone and joint. But it feels particularly loud with the only other sound the soft humming of the fridge, the call of a bird outside the window.
You feel squirmy for reasons you can’t quite place when he’s finished, bird butchered and glistening under the dim kitchen light. The look he gives you, heavy and stifling, doesn’t help.
You make him get mason jars next time he goes to the store, mourning all the stock that goes to waste because you’ve got no way to store it. He praises the tenderloins you make for dinner that night, voice rough in a way that makes your cheeks heat.
Most of the food he buys for you to work with is store-bought, but the meat continues to be fresh. He enjoys the food most when he kills it himself – he moans when he bites into a piece of duck in a way that you feel no shame in calling pornographic – but you learn that he’ll settle for anything fresh.
There’s a calendar on the inside of the pantry.
It’s an old military one, each of the pictures a dramatic shot of a soldier, covered in filth more often than not and staring across some sort of beautiful landscape. It’s from 2014, each of the pages worn and ripped where fingers have pinched and flipped. Each of the days is already marked off with an X in the box, some of them even with little notes written in different colors from over the years.
G birthday in Lancaster
S appointment - needs ride
L retirement on base
You know when he flips it to read June that you’ve been with him a month. You’re not happy, far from it, but you don’t spend everyday shaking in fear.
You know what to expect from Ghost, he knows what he expects from you, and you’ve settled into an almost-peaceful cohabitation.
He takes to ordering you prettier clothes about halfway through your second week. Sweatpants get traded in for sundresses and uncomfortably tiny shorts, sweatshirts exchanged for cardigans and low-back tank-tops.
Some days, watching him feed the chickens through the window in your daisy-print sundress and flour-covered apron, you feel almost like a homesteader’s wife.
If not for the chains hanging from the walls, of course.
You’re wearing one of those dresses when Ghost comes to visit you in the kitchen, nearly six weeks after he’d taken you.
He’d been letting you wander the house off-leash more and more, in small doses. Whether confident in his ability to catch you or your inability to get far from the cabin, you’re not sure, but you’re thankful nonetheless. You’re still a little sore from your last escape attempt, ass smarting from his belt, and haven’t quite gotten into your head to try again yet.
You’re leaning over the counter, tasting a fresh brownie from the middle of the pan while he smokes with his Wheel of Fortune on, having sent you off with a pat on the ass and a I want somethin’ sweet, doll.
You’ve never been nearly as good at baking as you have cooking, and you’re not sure you’ve perfected your brownie recipe yet. But you’ve always had a bit of a sweet tooth, and Ghost keeps his house cold. Biting into a still-steaming gooey brownie, the top just enough of a crust to give the bite texture, the chocolate melting into your tongue, is one of the best things you’ve done since you first woke up in that basement.
You don’t realize you’ve made a noise until there’s an echo behind you, Ghost’s groan so quiet it’s nearly drowned out by the TV in the other room.
You jerk back from the counter, hands braced on the rounded corner as you look over your shoulder, sure that there’s a pipe groaning in the wall.
Instead you see your kidnapper, already hardly a step away and boxing you into the counter, hulking body smothering you with ease.
Your spine goes ramrod straight, brownie abandoned in its pan as he presses himself into you, hard chest pushing against your softer back. You’re silent, stiff, too surprised and scared to do more than wait.
“‘S got you moanin’ in here?” Ghost rumbles, heavy against you. “Thought I said I wanted a treat.”
“I–” You gasp, arching when he presses his hips into you. His sweatpants don’t do anything to disguise his length and you can feel every inch of him against your back. “I–I made brownies.”
“Hm…” One hand comes to rest on your hip, his head lowering enough that you can see his profile in your peripheral. “Let’s have it then.”
You don’t move at first, fingertips tingling and lips pressed tightly together.
He huffs, smacks your ass once. He pushes the fabric of your dress up just enough to clip your skin, simple granny panties doing little to soften the blow. You gasp and jerk forward, soft stomach pressing into the counter.
“Give me one,” he says, hand rubbing where he’d just spanked, fingertips just dipping under the edge of your underwear. “C’mon, bird, I want a bite.”
Your fingers quiver as you lift the brownie in your hand to his lips, holding it just over his shoulder as he feels you up with both hands, roughly kneading the cheeks of your ass as you try to stay as still as possible.
Ghost gives you more of his weight and bites the brownie, the sharp edges of his teeth scraping your knuckles. You jump at the feeling, unwittingly grinding yourself against him.
“Fuck, pet,” he moans, face dropping to rest his forehead against your temple. You can do nothing but stare at the cabinet. “That’s fuckin’ delicious. I need another bite.”
You’re reaching towards the pan to cut him another piece when you realize he’s shifting to his knees behind you.
“Ghost,” you whine when he takes your hips in his hands, hefting you up so you’re fully resting on the island with your toes unable to even skim the tile. Your eyes are wide as you stare at the backsplash, unable to quite believe what’s happening.
“Hush,” he scolds, and you get a smack to the thigh for your trouble. “I want my sweet thing.”
Ghost eats your cunt the same way he eats your food: voraciously, messily, and shamelessly.
He gives you no warm up, no time to prepare for something he’s only hinted at wanting to do before. There’s one broad swipe of his tongue across your sex, then his lips wrapping around your clit and your eyes rolling back into your skull.
You’re not sure that he cares about your pleasure, but he’s certainly giving you plenty. He licks from cunt to clit again and again, tongue quick and stiff against where you’re sensitive and drawing breathy moans from you, nails scratching uslessly at the counter.
He focuses mostly on your hole, licking up your slick like it’s the best thing his tongue has ever touched and leaving you pushing back for more unconsciously, wanting more than just the tip of his tongue inside you.
“Greedy,” he huffs when you nearly slip off the counter. He slips two fingers into your leaking hole and you squeal at the stretch, noticeable even with his mouth working you over. “This is for me, not you, pet. Settle down and let me eat.”
You cry out when he laps at your clit, quick, broad licks over the bud and just enough pressure to make your mouth hang open. He gives you almost too much suction, your brain rattling around between your ears when he crooks his fingers and tugs.
He uses just one hand on your thigh and two fingers in your cunt to shove you up the counter, giving him more space to have you practically sitting on his face. He laps around his own fingers, fucking with you just enough to coax more slick for him to drink, your knees knocking against the cabinet.
Eventually, what feels like it must be hours later, you come. The combination of Ghost’s fingers pressing at just the right spot, the suction on your clit and the sound of his mouth against you making you feel insane and finally pushing you over the edge.
It’s heaven, to have him lick and suck you through your orgasm. Your limbs feel tingly, bright white starbusts flying behind your eyes as you go limp across the counter, head pressing against the backsplash.
It isn’t until he doesn’t pull out his fingers, doesn’t pull his tongue away, that you start to feel truly gone, a puppet dancing to his tune, a piece of fruit squeezing whatever juice he wants into his mouth for as long as he wants.
“Not done with you yet,” you hear him murmur, the rumble of his voice against your cunt making you moan from overstimulation. “Gonna drain you dry, pretty thing. Shouldn’t have made yourself so sweet if you didn’t want me taking it all.”
You want to growl that you can’t make yourself taste like anything, but he slips a third finger into your hold, curls his fingers and rubs his knuckles against your g-spot, and you’re coming too hard to even attempt a protest.
By the time he pulls your dress back down and pets your ass, taking a brownie from the pan without even bothering to use the knife to cut himself a piece, there’s nearly as much drool dripping from your mouth as there is your cunt.
From there, your life centers around two things: food and sex. Both of them exist only because of and with Ghost, him your constant companion as you unwillingly grow more and more comfortable in his house.
You cook him a stew made from cow leg he’d dropped on your counter that morning. Small russet potatoes float in the broth, popped into his mouth whole and swallowed almost as completely, pieces of carrots he chews to mush and celery he avoids, wine soaked meat leaving grease stains down his shirt.
Ghost puts you on your knees beneath the table, feeds you his cock while he feeds himself your food. You suck him as well as you can, trace your tongue over the thick vein up the side of his cock, ignore the throbbing in your jaw and try to push his foreskin back to suckle on his head. He wraps his fingers around the base of his cock, doesn’t let himself come until he’s finished with his meal. You can’t tell if his groaning is for your work on the stew or your work beneath the table.
Fuckin’ heaven, that mouth. Want me to send you off with a full belly, huh? Bet you like your meal as much as I like mine.
Half a dozen eggs, scrambled, served with enough bacon to make you feel sick from the smell alone and half-soaked in maple syrup.
You, needy and desperate, grinding your cunt across his thigh. You lean back as far as you can with your hands carefully resting on the table at your back, desperate to avoid his syrup-sticky fingers, and end up with a view of his cock lancing you. He scoops your slick up with his clean fingers, picks up another piece of bacon and rips it in half, offers you the bit he doesn’t take.
Please, please, Ghost, I need it so bad, it hurts and it’s supposed to, love, I said I wanted a show with my breakfast, didn’t I?
A rack of lamb, sliding off the bone, bites of it shared between Ghost and you as three of his fingers work slowly in and out of your ass, leisurely and for his viewing pleasure more than your own orgasm. Red juices smeared across your lips and face, dripping down his chin and staining his fingers. A thumb on your clit, meat shoved between your teeth as you come.
Gonna fuck you here too. Gonna make it hurt, listen to you cry a little when I eat. Oh, hush, you’ll be fine, don’t get yourself worked up. Not yet, at least. My cock’ll spread you out at least twice this much, save your tears for when you’ll need ‘em, pet.
Sticky fruit laid across your stomach, cantaloupe and watermelon and kiwi and banana. His fingers picking them off you piece by piece, savoring them as he fucks you hard. You laid flat to the table, legs spread why and throat sore from your cries, the stark difference between the way he relishes the food and the way he fucks you like an animal making you feel wanted in a way that threatens to drown you.
You need it bad, don’t you? Slut. Pretty, tasty, perfect little slut. Fuckin’ squeezin’ my dick off, goddamm, honey. Gonna fuck you full, gonna fill you up and feed you plenty.
Stir fry you make with hog maw, a recipe you’d never tried before given to you by a girl in cooking school who was set to inherit her parent’s restaurant. His face moving between your cunt and his meal, your whines about a UTI and cross-contamination go ignored, and he holds his bowl beneath your cunt while he strokes your g-spot with two calloused fingers.
Tightest fuckin’ cunt in the world. Pretty little thing and her pretty little meals, just made for me, huh? ‘S that right, pet? You’re made just for me and my mouth and my cock, hm? Gonna give me a nice little dressing for my food?
A night spent in his bed, after you make him angel-food cake from scratch. Waking up to a cock pressed against your ass, chain leash and collar heavy around your throat and locked around the headboard but the sheets soft under your skin, pillows thick and his own body warm in a way the basement never gets.
Ghost isn’t awake yet. He’s snoring like a freight train, completely unaware of the way you stare at him in the blue-dark of the early dawn hours.
The chain is heavy in your hand, cold against your soft palms. You feel almost like you’re in a trance, the world still hazy around its edges as you shift to kneel over him.
You don’t know how much strength it takes to strangle a person, but evidentially you don’t use enough.
You wrap the chain tight around either knuckle, press your hands hard into the mattress on either side of his head, and hold your own breath. His snores quiet, his breathing shudders. He coughs once, twice, you feel his hips and legs begin to shift beneath you and you really put your body weight behind your hold. He goes still.
Then, his eyes fly open.
There’s hardly time for you to think fuck before he’s flipping you onto your stomach, harsh hand shoving you into the mattress while another rips the chain from your hands and pulls.
You wail a breath as your head is pulled back, scalp nearly touching your spine as Ghost forces your back into a steep arch, ass pushed into the air.
“Fuckin’ hell,” he hisses. You can’t tell if the heat in his words is rage or hunger or some sick mix of both, have even less of an idea which one you should be hoping it is. “You tryin’ to fuckin’ kill me?”
You can barely breathe through the anticipation, the fear that’s been gone for so many days suddenly wrapped around you as tight as the collar, but you find enough breath to shout when he lands a horribly heavy hit across your ass.
“Ghost!” You shout when he only follows it with several more, eyes squeezed shut as he overwhelms you in pain and discomfort.
“What?” He snarls, fingers clipping your cunt and making your squeal. “What, now you don’t like pain? I watched you cream my cock without a single finger in your cunt last night, girl, but this?” Another spank, harder than you’ve ever taken and burning. “This too much for you?”
You huff, squirming as much as you can in your strained position.
“You wake me up with a goddamn chain around my neck and bitch when I beat your ass for it?” His voice is nearing a shout now, thick with what you’re sure is anger. “You’re gonna try and kill me in my own fuckin’ bed and pitch a fit when I make you sorry?”
You can’t find it in you to do anything but cry, chest tight and eyes squeezed tighter while he doles out punishment, bruising slaps landing anywhere from your cheeks to your cunt to your thighs to your hole, his hand spreading you wide for him.
“Spread,” he grunts eventually, a harsh hand shoving your knees wide. “Need to get to that hole.”
You don’t get to listen, he makes you do what he wants without giving you a chance to, and then lays a dozen terrible, painful smacks to your asshole.
You’re nearly screaming through them all, feet slamming into the bed as the pain rushes through you. He yanks the chain hard when you try to pull forward and bury your face in the pillow, forcing you to keep the tortuous pose he’s holding you to.
You feel the bed rocking with the force of his hits, spit and tears dripping down your face as you can do nothing but lay there and take it.
“Naughty, naughty fuckin’ thing,” he spits, two rough fingers pushing into your cunt with little care for your cry. “My own little chef tryin’ to strangle me, I can’t fuckin’ believe it. I bring you here to feed me, give you a load in your stomach anytime you need it, and you wrap your leash ‘round my throat?”
“I’m– I’m sorry!” You wail, inconsolable as he roughly rubs a palm over your clit, your cunt quickly getting slick. You’re still damp from the way he’d bent you over earlier, a mix of his and your cum wet between your thighs.
“Not good enough,” Ghost hisses. He quickly fucks his fingers back inside you, once twice, then pulls them out again.
You go taut as a board when those slick fingers move up, towards your far, far tighter hole.
“No,” you gasp, struggling even pinned as you are, a sense of panic shrouding your mind. “No, no, nonono, you can’t, oh God, please, Ghost, don’t–”
Ghost drops the chain in favor of grabbing you by the throat, tearing you back so violently that you’re staring at his sneer upside down.
“Shut the fuck up.” His spit is tacky when it lands on your cheek, mixing with your tears, and his smile looks evil as he glares down at you. “Gonna make sure you don’t even think of that shit again. Gotta make it hurt if you’re gonna learn a lesson.”
You sob as he lets you go, head finally falling limp to the bed as you turn your face to the side so you can still breathe. You watch as he reaches for a half-full bottle of lube on his bedside table, the label peeling and stained.
“Gonna cry for me some more?” He coos, laughing when you jump at the cold feel of the lube on your ass, thighs tense with nerves. “You know I like it when you make yourself look silly, pet. Go on, cry all you want. Still gonna fuck you.”
One finger pushes the lube into your ass, then two, then three. He gives you no time to adjust, only one thrust from each digit before he forces you to stretch further, lands slaps across your ass seemingly whenever he feels like it.
“Ghost, pl-ease,” you cry when you feel the hot head of him press against you, sure that it’ll be excruciating.
He threads a hand into your hair, pulls you up enough that he can bend to speak into your ear.
“You’ll call me Simon while I fuck your ass,” he says, voice low. “I wanna hear you scream it when I hurt you, pet.”
You listen to him against your will, the scream he wanted tearing from you and echoing the sheer pain of being fucked by someone as massive as Ghost with such little prep.
Your hole feels like it’s on fire, the pain racing through the rest of your body and leaving you limp and panting, only able to close your eyes and endure as he mercilessly pushes forward, uncaring of your pained hiccups and cries.
“Simon,” you whine when he bottoms out, warm balls settling against your neglected cunt. “Hurts…”
His laugh is mean, nasty in your ear. “Good, fuck, say it again, girl. Tell me how much it hurts.”
“So bad…” is all you manage, even just those words warbling off into nothing as he pulls out, fucking himself back in with a harsh thrust that nearly chokes you.
“Can’t believe you tried it,” he huffs, bracing himself over you as he sets a ruthless pace, no consideration for your comfort. You can see the chain in his right hand, feel the way it just barely tugs at your neck with how viciously you’re moving along the bed. “Been waitin’ for you to give me a chance to do this to you, to fuck you up.”
Your fists clench in the sheets as you do your best to breathe through the pain, the slide of the lube only making his thrusts marginally easier to endure.
“Been waitin’ to get my cock in this hole. Wanted to watch you cry and make you put your tears in the food, gape your little hole and make you ride me while I smoke, shit. Tightest ass I’ve ever felt, love, goddamn. ‘S that feel good?” A slap to the side of your face, rousing you. “You feel good with my cock drilling your little ass?”
“No,” you moan, miserable.
“Good,” he hisses, thrusts quickly becoming uncoordinated as he stares down at your ruined face, his eyes gleaming. “You’re so much sweeter when you’re hurtin’, girl. Wanna keep you like this all the time.”
You sob at the idea, already unable to imagine how excruciating it’ll be to sit tomorrow with your ass covered in welts.
“C’mon, c’mon,” Ghost pants, staring at you ravenously. “Cry a little more for me, attagirl…”
You feel his cum shoot deep inside you before his thrusts slow, the heat spreading as he fucked you through his orgasm, face twisted in pleasure. Your tears haven’t slowed, even as the pain lessened and lessened throughout your fucking.
“Fuck, fuck, that feels good,” he breathes, grinding himself against you as he empties the last of himself inside you.
You feel nearly catatonic as he pulls out, only able to whine when he slips free from your hole and then again when he rearranges you on the bed, limbs sore and neck stiff as he continues to hold you by the leash.
“Took it well,” he grunts, shifting to lay on his back again and tossing the lube to the table beside him. “You gonna pull that shit again?”
You sniffle shaking your head no, only verbally answering when he cocks an eyebrow. “No, Simon.”
He smirks. “I’d love if you did,” he whispers, like it’s a secret. “Would love if you gave me another chance to ruin you. Just go ahead, love. I’ll tear into you whenever you want.” He tilts his head, considering for a moment. “Whenever I want too. ‘Cause you’re mine to do whatever I want with, aren’t you?”
You nod, hands tucked beneath your chin as he tugs you closer by the hip, fingers pressing into rapidly developing bruises and making you whimper.
“Yeah, gonna fuck you ‘til you cry as often as I want. And you’ll gimme those tears every time, won’t you?”
All you can do is nod, a part of you calmed and feeling safer as you watch the predator’s teeth pull away from the prey’s neck when he nods.
The plate you balance is larger than your face and still nearly overflowing with food.
It’s filled to the edges with steak, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, and rolls. You have a bottle of wine tucked under one arm, a corkscrew held between your lips and one glass in your hand as you saunter towards Simon.
“Smells good,” he grunts. You’ve learned that his compliments are concise but rare, and you greedily take in the praise from him. “Enough for us both?”
You snort. There’s enough food on your plate to feed five people, easily. But Ghost’s stomach is never-ending, and you’d made sure that there would be no way he’d go to bed hungry.
He spreads his thighs as you approach, pats one of them like you’re not already lowering yourself to him. He takes the glasses while you lay the plate, setting his silverware to the side as he opens the bottle and fills the glass nearly to the brim.
You hum as you take in a breath of the food, that familiar sense of pride from a meal well-made settling in your chest.
Ghost cuts the food while you lean back on his chest, watching his thick fingers work.
He lifts one of the little pieces of steak to your mouth once he’s cut it, swiping it through the potatoes and guiding you to look at him with a finger on your jaw.
He presses the tender, rare meat between your lips and you take it greedily, letting your eyes slip shut as you savor the taste. He kisses you almost immediately after, passes his tongue over the food before you can even swallow, but lets you keep it.
You giggle when he pulls back, swiping a thumb over the potato on your lip. He picks himself up another bite, pinches a bit of carrot with his steak and swallows without chewing, a moan slipping from his lips. You feel yourself dampening against his thigh, breath hitching.
“Happy Valentine’s day,” you say, voice quiet and held just between the two of you.
He snorts, ever unromantic. “Eat up, doll. Wanna have you for dessert after a meal this good.”
You smile softly at him, opening your mouth willingly when he lifts a bite of food to your lips.

Back by (alarmingly) popular demand; Nightmare!!
And Dream’s debut!
I wanted these two to be pretty distinct from both their canon and fanon depictions. As such, they are both HORRIBLE guardians of their respective trait.
Genuinely, if it weren’t for the aura they carry and how positivity and negativity affect them, their roles might as well be reversed.
Dream tends to distance himself from those he loves leading him to be a very absent, emotionally and literally, caretaker for Palette. He’s always on the go. Needing to be everywhere at once. Helping as many people as possible. All to his own detriment.
Nightmare likes to put up a grumpy, narcissistic, and downright evil front, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. He would never admit it but he adores his gang. Though, other than those three he’s completely isolated.
Oh also!
Nightmare has largely overcome his curse. Don’t get me wrong, he still has a ton of left over resentment and wants to inflict the same pain he received, but he’s still himself. Dream, however, is not convinced. He wholeheartedly believes his brother died that day and has completely given up hope on “curing” him.
They’re so silly I love them <3
Extra notes:
Dream’s pendant works the same as Palette’s little wish balls except his are for hopes and dreams.
Nightmare’s moon necklace is all that’s left of his crown.
Angsty Grandpa and Depressed Twink belong to Jokublog
edit: omg it’s so crunchy please click the images for better graphics ヽ(;▽;)

Relative size comparison between Paper Mario's graphics in the games in the Paper Mario series (and the related Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam).
From left to right: Paper Mario, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube), Super Paper Mario, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, Paper Mario: Color Splash, Paper Mario: The Origami King, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch).
Note that while some of the games include different sizes of graphical assets for Mario (such as Paper Mario: The Origami King also including extra large versions for cutscenes), this compares specifically the size of the graphics used during regular gameplay.

𝐓𝐅 𝟏𝟒𝟏 - 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐓
summary: headcanons for each members' reaction to you telling them you're pregnant
cw: afab!reader, pregnancy (duh), mentions of pregnancy symptoms (like nausea, vomiting) but nothing graphic, slight angst for some parts, established relationship, mentions of sex (?)
capt. john price
౿ ۪ ݁ honestly? price couldn't be happier. he always thought of himself as a family man, seeing himself as a father of (hopefully) many kids. he's overjoyed as you greet him when he gets home from a long and grueling deployment, wanting nothing more than to relax in your arms and go to sleep in his own bed. however, when you say the words "i'm pregnant" and showcase the sonogram, his heart nearly triples in size. that's his baby. you're carrying his baby, and he swears this is the best moment of his entire life. he whispers praises in your ear as he holds you tight, a large and heavy hand gently resting on your abdomen, thumb stroking your skin the fabric of your - his - shirt. he's truly never been happier. you, his darling girl, is harboring a precious life that blossomed from your love for each other. you just know he's going to be the best father your kid could hope for.
sgt. kyle "gaz" garrick
౿ ۪ ݁ kyle doesn't know what to say at first. he was the one that convinced you to take a pregnancy test in the first place - you'd been nauseous and fatigued for the past few days, and he noticed. he noticed each and every thing about you, from your slightly irritable mood to the tiny changes of your body. he never expected the test to come back positive, the two little lines on the stick staring up at the both of you. he's scared, just as scared as you, but he knows he needs to stay strong, at least for now. "it's gonna be alright, angel," he'd reassure you, taking your form into an embrace. he's oh so gentle, handling you like porcelain now that he knows his baby is growing in your womb. "we'll get through this together, ya hear, love?" he kisses your forehead. whatever you decide to do, he's there for you. despite his initial fears, the thought of having a baby with you excites him. you best bet that if you aren't married already, you'll have a ring on your finger by the end of the week.
sgt. john "soap" mactavish
౿ ۪ ݁ johnny has never felt so unprepared in his life. he's always so, so careful with you, hoping to avoid situations like... this. it's not that he's upset, no, he isn't angry. just unprepared. he doesn't feel fit to be a father, not yet. it's a lot of responsibility and an entire lifetime of commitment - and johnny doesn't want to let down his future child. though, the more he thinks about it, the more he begins to warm up to the idea of fatherhood. maybe you'll have a little lass with his eyes and your fiery attitude, or perhaps a lad with your nose and his spunk - whoever your child ends up being, he knows he'll love them unconditionally. just as he loves you. it does take him a few weeks to come around. at first, he'd drink his worries away at the pub, ranting to ghost or whomever else will listen. he's just stressed, and that stress never really goes away, but a stronger feeling of pride and excitement takes over. he's going to be a da! he knows you'll be a damn good mother, and he even takes an extra long leave to help around the house. he doesn't want you to lift a finger while you're pregnant (even though you're not even showing yet). before the baby is even born, he proves himself to be a very capable father.
lt. simon "ghost" riley
౿ ۪ ݁ when you break the news to him, simon is instantly afraid. memories of his own childhood come flooding back to him, and a new fear settles inside of him. he's always been afraid of turning out like his old man, and now that you're pregnant with his baby, there's a whole nother person that he could let down. he doesn't want that to happen - doesn't want his baby to suffer as he'd done. he makes a silent promise, both to you and the baby, that he'd always be there and present. he loves you more than anything, but the revelation has him growing distant for the first few months. whenever you bring up the topic of possible baby names, or ask to look at clothes at the shops, he tenses and responds in very short answers. it's abundantly clear that he's scared, and you don't really blame him. it isn't until you speak to him in the privacy and safety of your shared bedroom does he confess. "i'm just worried about turning into my father," his voice is uncharacteristically quiet, light eyelashes fluttering against his cheeks as he tries to blink away some unshed tears. "i don't want to hurt you, bunny, or the baby." he glances down at your abdomen, and you guide your hand to it. you have to reassure him many times that he's nothing like his father. it isn't until he comes with you to one of your appointments that he finally accepts that as a fact. when he hears your baby's heartbeat on the monitor, he knows deep in his heart that he'd do anything to protect you both.

i caved and bought the legacy collection out of curiosity
i bought it on steam by the way, no way am I going anywhere near the ea app
random thoughts as i go along:
game loaded up straight away with no issues (what a strange feeling)
got into pleasantview within 2 minutes (obvs I have no cc installed right now so its gonna be faster anyway)
a bit of a jumpscare to see the game again without reshade ngl
straight into the lothario household. don you look... different without all my defaults
screen resolution defaulted to the right size without me having to change anything by the way, which was nice
turned up all the graphics setting to max and going to visit the goth household as that always gives me lag, even vanilla
this experience is already making me realise I need to cut down my 12gb downloads folder, cos man this is so smooth and fast without all of that in my game
well everything is working perfectly straight out of the box. had no issues with multiple sims on the big goth lot
going to quit and load up again with my ui mods and defaults next (along with hugelunatic's ikea pack as cc)
legacy collection has an entirely different file path by the way, so won't mess with existing ultimate collection installs (i wouldn't have dared to do this otherwise)
okay all my defaults, ui mods and some others are now in (downloads folder is up to 3.64gb now) and everything is working fine still
ikea items as cc don't seem to be fully appearing in the catalog though? that might be a me problem but i dont know
adding in all my cas cc now, along with hood defaults and hood deco cc (downloads folder is up to 6.5gb now). i'm also adding in anything else I can think of like camera mods, user startup cheat etc etc
getting into pleasantview in less than 2 mins still
heading into cas for the first time now...
... and it loaded up within 10 seconds even with ALL of my cas cc? and this is the first time too so I would've expected major lag. normally cas takes about 60 seconds to load in my game
update on the ikea pack as cc... the build items are definitely there, but not the buy for some reason?
biting the bullet and adding in the remaining 6gb of my 12gb downloads folder
all of my cc is now in the game and loading times were about 30 seconds longer than before. still no issues
took darren dreamer to a community lot and there were no crashes/issues/lag. normally going to a community lot is very dangerous for me cos its where I get the most crashes or issues, its why all my community lots are incredibly small lot sizes
also I have the hood deco view set to extra large... normally I have to have it set to extra small just to play in a small household
i dont think I'm being delulu here to say things are running better
next up is adding in all of my mods, then after that I might dare putting in my mega populated uberhood save, and try reshade?
another ikea update: everything is showing up now. it was me being an idiot
so all of my mods are now also in (so my entire downloads folder now) and i haven't been able to trigger any crashes or pink soup yet through normal gameplay? even with extra large hood view from lots
reshade keeps crashing my game on startup... damn, what am I doing wrong
RESHADE IS NOW WORKING (ver 6.1.1)! thanks to this guide
I finally added in my uberhood save (which is packed with hood deco and and has 35 playable families).... and it's working! I also played with a household for a bit and everything was working fine
final update before I go to bed (as its gone midnight here lol)
i now have all of my mods, cc, saves, and reshade installed, and I've yet to have any pink soup or crashes (apart from the crashes when I was *incorrectly* trying to install reshade). honestly... i'm surprised. i dont want to speak too soon obviously, but things seem better. i was just playing in a household with extra large lot view on and that would usually IMMEDIATELY crash my game, but nothing happened. tomorrow i'll actually play for an extended period of time, so i'll be able to tell more for sure then.
i hope this has been helpful to at least a couple of people, and i'll leave with you a shot of my pleasantview newly loaded up in the legacy collection 😅

Hello! Can I request homelander x human reader? Maybe he has some kind of messed up obsession with a Vought employee that gave him a huge cupcake on his birthday but she is just completely blind to it. Like he's just obsessing constantly like "I swear if someone touches you I'll-" and she's just like "hm, he must be hungry" Id love to see what you do with this plot if you decide to use it. Obsessed x dense is such a funny kind of ship to me.
Strawberry Cupcake
Homelander X Reader
Content: Protective Homelander, Jealousy, he is obsessed! and you adore him too, some threats, lots of touching (in non-sexual ways), semi-harassment from a side character but not really
Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: Non-graphic threats
a/n: I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS GIF also I am currently watching The Boys for the first time and have not made it to Homelander’s birthday episode yet so I changed the request a tiny bit, ty
It began with a cupcake—such a small insignificant gesture for the sender, but a brain-rewiring occasion for the receiver. Homelander stood there, dazed, looking at the large treat on the seven-shaped desk, right in front of his chair. He was publicly celebrating “500 crimes prevented” recently, but the majority of it was just a PR stunt. They faked the last crime, making it extra flamboyant so that audiences had something to gawk over. Vought needed more interest so they threw together some tacky event with overpriced merchandise and a speech from Homelander himself. With a tentative hand, Homelander reached out and held the cupcake in his gloved hand. It couldn’t have been an outsider that gave this to him, no one steps into this room besides those he allowed. Examining it further, he noticed a pink slip on the table next to the cupcake.
‘In celebration of 500 crimes! Thank you for protecting us. -Y/N’
A simple message, a display of gratitude he receives from strangers all of the time. So then why does this feel so different? So personal compared to the other thanks he gets? He licked some frosting. Strawberry, his favorite. He felt a smile grow on his face. Perhaps it was because you were the only employee to thank him for all the fake-heroic work he has done, or because you were observant enough to know his food preferences, but he needed to find just who you were.
Immediately he went to Ashley and demanded she find who this Y/N person was. The first time he saw you he was instantly drawn to your demeanor. You didn’t seem scared of him, even though as a higher-ranking employee you should be at least aware of his capabilities. Homelander quickly shooed Ashley away and began to make a civil conversation with you, thanking you for the cupcake with a genuine smile. You happily mirrored a smile back, showering him with praise but also trying to make regular conversation. You didn’t want to seem like a fan or anything.
The time you spent together was refreshing, humanizing. You treated him not as a machine like so many others before you had. You eagerly indulged in whatever topic Homelander brought up, sparking even more interest in the man. As the night concluded he decided to test you.
“You do realize that the whole ‘500 crimes’ thing is fake, right?” He said it with a tone intended to make you feel stupid for getting the cupcake, despite his undying gratitude for the small gesture. He needed to know what your reasoning was, or if your pretty little face was just not paying attention to the work they do at Vought.
“I know! But, I dunno. It still seemed like a cool thing to pretend to celebrate. Plus, I’ve been getting into baking and thought, why not make you something? I mean, what’s the worst that could happen?” You said with a soft smile and a sweet expression. You were so fucking oblivious to the fact he could snap you in half without a second thought it was adorable. But it also scared him, were you that dense in the real world to criminals? With even just meeting you he couldn’t bear the thought of you being injured. And thus began Homelander’s mission to be your guard dog in the shadows.
He was always there, whether you knew or not, keeping an eye on you. He was horrified when he found out you walked home alone from Vought when your shift was over. Were you stupid? No, he knows that’s not the answer. You were just too kind to ever assume that there were people out there who could harm others without a second thought. It was honestly a miracle you’ve made it this far without his protection. But no need to fear now, he’s got your back.
When he is making himself known he’s constantly obsessing over you, to the point where everyone else in the room can tell but you. One day Homelander brought you along for a promotional event Vought was hosting for a sponsor. He held your hand the entire time backstage, wanting to keep you close. For the moments where he was forced to be somewhere else God forbid anyone else enter your vicinity because they would have a very stern talking to later by America’s favorite superhero.
“Y/N, just stay here okay? I’ll be back in a bit. If anyone tries to do something tell me, and I’ll fucking blast their heads off sweetheart.” Homelander looks at you with a serious expression, but you only smile at him back. You believe he’s always exaggerating with his threats, despite it being the exact opposite. If anything, the threats are always tamer than the punishment itself.
“I know, I know. Anybody talks to me, you'll kill them.” You said with a smile, briefly touching Homelander’s nose with your pointer finger. “You’re so cute. Go get ‘em, tiger.” You shoo him away to Ashley, who is waiting with a bored expression. She’s seen this display a million times, of Homelander swooning over you and you not picking up a single hint. The times when he would make Ashley call you into his office just so he could rest his head on your lap at the end of a particularly long day. When you were running late once to a meeting and Homelander searched the entire city in under two minutes because his overactive mind convinced himself you were dead in an alleyway and he had failed you. When he returned disheveled and ready to burn the entire building to the ground he found you were just in the bathroom touching up your makeup and lost track of time. Somehow in his haste of panic, he didn’t think to check the building and immediately assumed the worst. Ever since that incident, Ashley has made sure you were on time for every event now. She was sure he even leveled a mountain for you once after you thought it had the perfect view for a picnic, but no room for a proper picnic blanket.
Yeah, the dude was obsessed. This brought about some problems at Vought, but anyone would rather jump off a bridge than confront Homelander about his little obsession with you.
It was another typical day, Vought had just begun filming for a TV show about The Seven. Naturally, they filmed Homelander’s segment first. You sat in said superhero’s dressing room and watched as he perfectly combed his soft blonde hair into place. You had a stupid smile on your face, gawking at the incredible man in front of you. “You’re gonna do great today! I’m so excited to watch your film.” Homelander looked over and saw you practically jumping in your seat with excitement. It warmed his heart to see you so genuinely enjoy him doing simple tasks like mindlessly talking to a camera for hours.
“Thank you, sweetheart.” Homelander puts down his comb and saunters over to your chair, bringing you into a sudden hug. In truth, he can’t stand physically being away from you for more than an hour. He feels right when he’s with you, he feels like John, not Homelander. It’s such an overwhelming feeling of comfort he feels, he could cry each time you touch. If this is what true love feels like he wishes all his enemies feel it so he can rip it away from them. How excruciatingly painful that must feel shakes him in maniacal ways.
“John?” You’ve become accustomed to using his real name with him by his request. The simple title shakes him out of his thoughts and brings them back to your shining face. “What’s the hug for? Not that I’m complaining but…” You trail off, arms wrapped around his torso reciprocating the hug.
“Can’t hug my girl?” He playfully smiles, squeezing your small body with only a percentage of his power. We all know what would happen if he did it with full force. He leads you out into the hallway in front of his dressing room door. The expression he wore was akin to the face a puppy makes when it gets kicked. “I have to go film, but remember if anyone fucking touches you I’ll burn them until their unrecognizable,” Homelander said with a nonchalance that should have horrified you, but you simply smile when he pats your head, kisses your cheek, and leaves the room. As you turn to go your own way you see an intern for the television company standing there, mouth agape. Their expression was almost laughable.
“He just must be hungry!” You giggle.
As the day progressed Homelander became increasingly irritated over the fact he hadn’t seen you in hours. The underpaid employees were consistently getting berated and yelled at by the man. “Go find Y/N…” Ashley whispered to an intern after a particularly realistic threat spewed from Homelander’s mouth.
Looking up from his tiny rampage, it was evident that Homelander had heard the request crystal clear. Deciding he was done with idiots for the rest of today he left with a grumble, “Don’t bother, I’ll find her myself.”
Finding you wasn’t the problem, it never is with Homelander’s unique abilities, but finding who you were with was something else. Somehow a random D-list superhero had found its way onto the set and decided that you were the lucky girl who deserved his charm today. Unlucky for that man, Homelander’s already sunken mood had just become much more severe. He was clearly making you comfortable, backing you into a corner where you couldn’t escape. He wasn’t quite touching you, but he was only a breath away from being able to. The sigh almost activated Homelander’s eye beams right then and there. He felt animalistic, and territorial over you.
With the best fake expression he could muster, which wasn’t very good, he casually walked over to the two of you. As the man next to you saw who was approaching his eyes lit up and his body seemed to forget you were there, so enthralled by the man in front of him. Wrong reaction.
“Homelander, sir! Wow, it’s such an honor to meet you.” His hand stuck out, waiting for a handshake it would never receive.
“Right,” Homelander’s smile was strained. “And what is going on over here?”
The man seems taken aback by the question, not quite sure why Homelander was interested in what was happening. “Oh, um, me and girly over here are just chatting. Think I might get to home base tonight, if you know what I mean, haha.” He winked at Homelander, a disgusting and provocative gesture. Gauging your reaction to this comment, a look of fear in your eyes and a pleading look sent John’s way, he almost evaporated the man right then and there. But he kept his cool, he wouldn’t want you to see all the dirty work he has to do after all.
“I don’t know what you mean,” Homelander said plainly, making the other superhero, if he could even call himself that, cringe at himself. John stood there, eyes now locked on you. You looked so fragile in this position, like something he needed to protect. Sometimes he felt his abilities were given to him for that sole purpose; to protect you from the world. Even if that wasn’t the case he does so anyway.
“Right, well, um…” The man stuttered out, embarrassed at the exchange.
“What are you doing here? It’s surprising they’d invite a D-tier superhero to a Vought shooting.” Homelander questioned, changing the subject away from you. This seemed to bring the man’s personality back.
“Ah! Well, they wanted to include a segment where you were helping smaller heroes, you know, to show you don’t care about status and everyone is equal.”
“Well isn’t that nice?” Homelander’s grin toward the man only became increasingly artificial, smile lines dancing on either side. He turns to you. “We’ll be right back, sweetheart. Just going to chat about the show a bit.” He winks at you, before ushering the man away out the back.
It was an hour later when Homelander came back, seemingly much calmer now. Ashley began yelling at him, scolding him for making them wait before he shoved her aside and beelined for his dressing room where he knew you were sitting all pretty waiting for him.
“There’s my beautiful girl.” He cooed, walking over and taking you in his arms, the scent of your shampoo entering his system.
You giggled. “Where have you been? Still talking to that one guy? I don’t really like him, he was being weird.”
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. He wasn’t a good fit for the show anyway.” Homelander wiped a bit of charcoal off his suit. “The team decided to fire him.”
“Mhm, I don’t disagree with that notion.” You nuzzle into Homelander’s chest before noticing a small box he was hiding behind his back. “What’s that?”
“Oh, this?” A wide smile played on the man’s lips. He presented the box, a red ribbon sealing the deal. “A present to cheer you up from earlier.” You thanked him before eagerly taking the box into your soft hands. With one fell swoop you managed to untie the ribbon to reveal one strawberry frosted cupcake that you then both shared.

dress | ot8

pairing: ot8 skz x fem!reader (separate)
genre: suggestive, light smut
synopsis: their reaction to you wearing an appealing dress
cw: MDNI, minho’s is pretty light smut (like nothing in ultra graphic detail but ya know), minho is very rough and he calls you kitten (hehehehehehe), mention of public sex in han’s (woopsie, but no one sees them), seungmin’s also a little smutty, seungmin mad jealous teehee, seungmin calls you pup/puppy, grinding in seungmin’s, all of them are touchy lol
let me know if i’m missing anything!!
———————————・❥・———————————
bang chan
it was another one of your classic date nights, and chan was wearing a casual black dress suit with matching pants.
he was waiting in the living room for you, and bless his heart, nothing could have prepared him for the outfit you chose to wear for the night.
a slim maroon dress that hugged your curves perfectly and had the right amount of cleavage. there was even a large slit for your leg to pop out.
not to mention the jewelry and matching heels that brought everything together.
you were so gorgeous that time stopped. chan couldn’t help but stare at everything. and you looked at him with your cute doe eyes, it made his heart beat so much.
“i’m ready to go, hon,” you said, “chris? you okay? you’re spacing out on me.”
chan immediately shook his head when you called out to him, heat rising in his skin.
“it’s nothing, baby,” he lightly chuckled, as he leaned in to kiss your neck, taking in your sweet floral scent. “come on. let’s go before someone takes our table.”
he wrapped his arm around your waist, his palm right on your ass (he couldn’t help it), and you both carried on in your date night.
lee minho
oh he’s down.
he’s so down that he had to skip the dinner.
he’s so down that he needed to be down in your thighs for a long while.
you didn’t think he’d go feral over the velvet violet mini-dress you bought the other day, but you were sorely mistaken.
now you’ve got yourself pinned down in minho’s bed, dizzy from all the highs he’s been giving you for the past hour.
your dress was still bunched up around your waist, the lace underneath ripped in half by now, and the neckline is now sitting right underneath your now bare, swollen breasts.
your dress magically became a belt basically.
minho bit down on your shoulder again, coaxing a whine out of you. another purple splotch was added to the gallery on your skin.
“minho, please!” you mewled, gripping onto his bare bulging arms. “it’s too much…i don’t think i can do another one—ahh!!~”
he groaned and rocked his hips up against you more, making you cry out another moan. it hurt so much that it felt so good.
“you can take it, kitten. i know you can,” he said huskily, his pace relentless. “you were always able to do more….”
suddenly, minho’s phone started to ring for the 15th time that night. another missed call from chan. all minho could do was hit your sweet spot harder, making another wave crash over you both.
“fuck,” he groaned, his chest heaving above yours. “i can’t believe you were going to wear this in front of the members….you should’ve known better, kitten.”
seo changbin
he was filling up a picnic basket with a bunch of cheesesteak sliders, fruits, and some lemonade.
he was expecting you both to wear the most casual of clothes ever: a tshirt and jeans.
but no of course you didn’t know what the word casual meant.
you decided to say fuck it and be extra cutesy.
you walked in the kitchen wearing a ruffled pink dress that reached to your upper thighs. it was covered in bows, and it had a sweetheart neckline.
changbin.exe stopped working.
“i’m ready, binnie,” you said as if you weren’t looking absolutely gorgeous.
he just stood there. amazed and it was like falling in love again.
changbin immediately grabbed you by the waist and kissed your sweet glossy lips. your cheeks glowed red and you kissed him back.
“god, princess, you look gorgeous!”
his hands traveled up your thighs, and he lifted you up before he sat you on the kitchen counter and kissed you more.
he kept asking you if you still wanted to do the picnic because plan sexy time suddenly became more appealing.
hwang hyunjin
it was milan fashion week, and he wanted to bring you along for the versace show.
you, of course, weren’t sure what you were going to wear, so hyunjin asked the one and only donatella versace to pick something out for you.
and donatella did not disappoint.
hyunjin was checking himself out in the mirror, running his hand through his shaved head (crying lol), and he was digging the purple silk jacket he was given.
but his eyes immediately widened when he saw your reflection.
you were straightened out your black mermaid dress that was a little poofy from the waist down, but still kept the mermaid shape. the dress was accented with gold, and your luscious hair was tied up in a bun.
donatella was generous enough to give you matching versace gloves, jewelry, and a fluffy scarf to go around your elbows.
you looked like an old hollywood star.
“how do i look, hyunnie?” you asked shyly. it’s not often you wear a custom made designer dress.
hyunjin walked up to you and gently lifted your chin, so his eyes could meet yours.
“like a work of art,” he smiled softly, leaning in for a sweet but searing kiss. you kissed him back, and hyunjin’s hands ran over your body, feeling up all your curves. he even tasted the sweet strawberry on your lips. his favorite.
and just like that, you and hyunjin went to the event, and the whole time, he couldn’t keep his hands off you at all.
his arm always had to be around your waist, his lips always had to be on your skin, and you got no seats other than his lap.
and you didn’t complain one bit.
because nothing made your heart more full than hyunjin showing off his beautiful goddess to the rest of the world.
han jisung
han’s eyes were wide open the whole time.
he couldn’t take his eyes off you the whole time you both walked in the park.
the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and you were standing in a cute floral pink milkmaid dress.
you just looked so cute in it.
so cute he could eat you up.
be prepared for han’s arms around your waist constantly throughout the whole walk.
he’ll get whiny if you move a little away from him.
“noooooo babyyyy stay with me pleeeaaassseee” he begged with his pouty lips and boba eyes.
“hannie, please i can’t breathe—”
“i’m sorry, just let me hold you please….”
his grip on you was indeed very tight. plus, his kisses were very ticklish.
he tried his best to behave the whole time he swears. but you knew that he couldn’t help it. whenever you wear anything remotely cute or sexy, han can’t help but want to glue you to his side forever.
so you decided to tease him back. you both were in a small secluded area in the park. not many people would walk by. han decided to sit on the vibrant green grass, and you decided to sit on his lap, fanning out your dress so that your legs and his were covered.
naturally, his hands were on you, but since there was no one around you, han took more liberty with his touches.
han nuzzled his face in your neck, inhaling your sweet scent. you smelled like the sweetest of peaches. he didn’t even think he’d love peaches that much until that very moment.
he was also pretty shameless with his sloppy kisses on your overheated skin. his hands were….everywhere.
like everywhere
you were actively making sure that no one saw when his hand slipped under your dress, lightly touching the soaked fabric of your panties.
you lightly gasped, and han couldn’t help but go further.
long story short, you were on top of him, you both were breathless and hotter than a summer’s day, and your cute dress was ruined.
lee felix
felix brought you to paris, and he wanted to take you to a fancy dinner (courtesy from his friends at louis vuitton)
he was in the hotel lobby with the driver, patiently waiting for you to come downstairs.
he was wearing something simple: a black coat, matching dress pants, and a white buttoned shirt, along with some louis vuitton jewelry to add some pizazz.
meanwhile, you were wearing the most stunning dress he’s ever seen: a long shimmering navy blue mermaid dress that accentuated your curves perfectly, and had loose off the shoulder straps. the whole piece was even studded with cute little gems.
felix had to blink twice.
you descended from heaven as far as he’s concerned.
you walked straight out of a fairy tale.
“hello, princess,” he smiled before pulling you close. you felt extra good in his arms with the dress on. “love the dress.”
“really?” you asked, “isn’t there too much glamour tho?”
“ain’t nothin wrong with glamour, angel.”
he planted a sweet kiss on your forehead before taking in all your beauty once more. you really did look like a princess. so soft and so beautiful.
suddenly, you gasped when you were in his arms. because if you gonna walk outside looking like a princess, he’s gotta treat you like a princess (such a prince :3)
“felix!!” you held onto him tight, and he laughed a little.
“come on, honey, let’s get in the car.”
kim seungmin
you were blushing when seungmin had you pinned up against the wall. his hand was tightly wrapped around your wrist, and the other was on your waist.
he narrow eyes traveled up and down your body, taking in the black minidress you thought was a good choice for wearing to dinner.
it wasn’t so heavy on the cleavage (at least that’s what you said), with its long sleeves covering your shoulders, but again, it is a mini-dress. you bend over, and your ass is out.
the only thing covering your thighs was the black lace stockings you believed added a sexy touch to the whole look.
not to mention, the sexy black heels that made your legs a little longer.
you definitely looked very cute, and you were excited to show it to seungmin.
little did you know he’d react this way.
“you think i’d let you wear that outside?” seungmin said sternly, his voice sending a shiver down your spine.
“is it not cute, baby?” you pouted.
“it is, and that’s the problem,” he leaned in closer, his hot breath against your neck. “you look so damn good, pup, and i want to be the only one who gets to see it. no one else….especially not jeongin.”
a breath got caught in your throat, immediately remembering the other day when you and jeongin spent the whole time laughing and joking together. you both had similar humors, so that moment felt natural to you.
if you were honest with yourself, you didn’t even pick up on the possibility of jeongin liking you. sure he was cute, but you saw him more as a friend.
you knew that seungmin watched the whole interaction, and you knew that he was jealous. you wanted to ask him about it, but you also thought he’d forget about it because you’ve been nothing but a good pup.
apparently, he hasn’t forgotten.
“but, min, jeongin doesn’t even like me like that,” you explained, your voice a little higher and breathier than normal.
“maybe, but i can’t help but think just how close he was to you that day,” seungmin pressed you up further against the wall. you let out a soft gasp, feeling his knee right in between your legs. “never trust a fox, pup….i’ve always told you that.”
fuck, he was hot when he was jealous.
your face was all rosy red, and you felt some hot stickiness in your panties.
“what’s the matter, pup? getting all hot and bothered?” he darkly chuckled and kissed your neck, slightly rubbing his knee against your core to coax a whine out of you. “it should be me who gets to fuck you in this dress. not him.”
“please, min,” you begged. you sounded pathetic, but you couldn’t help it.
you used your free hand to grab onto his arm, as you weakly grinded up against his knee to relieve some of the ache in you.
“please what, pup? let jeongin see you in this dress? want him to fuck you?”
"seungmin!"
"or....i could just video this and send it to him. see how he likes it."
seungmin let out a low growl and bit your earlobe, coaxing another whine out of you.
"you sound so good, puppy...bet jeongin can't make you do that."
suddenly, seungmin lifted you up, your legs wrapped around his waist, and he carried you to the bedroom.
his phone was buzzing with the missed calls and unread texts, but he didn't care.
yang jeongin
jeongin picked this dress out for you on a whim.
it was an emerald green corset dress.
it didn’t have much added decoration on it, other than the corset’s outline. it was rather simple.
but jeongin bought it because he wondered how it would look on you.
obviously, he knew you’d look good in it.
you always looked good.
but he didn’t expect you to look smoking hot.
you walked out of your closet, showing him how the dress looked.
“this dress is cute, innie,” you said, doing a little twirl to show jeongin more. “although, I don’t know how good the corset looks…”
jeongin grabbed you by the waist. he loved how easy this dress made it, especially with the way it hugged your body in the right places.
you blushed and giggled more when his lips were on your neck. his hot breath was right up against your ear, sending chills down your spine.
“you look perfect, my vixen,” he said, “you should wear this everyday.”
“you say that about all the clothes you buy me,” you chuckled.
“and i mean it. you look stunning.”
jeongin probably spent the next thirty minutes or so kissing your skin, leaving a couple of bite marks and hickeys.
they made the perfect accessory.

Pop Quiz
Summary: When Asia's in need of a few lessons regarding matters of the bedroom, her colleague and friend, Kelvin, offers his expertise.
Pairing: Kelvin Harrison Jr. x Black!OC
Warnings: Mature Content (18+)
Word Count: 6.2k
MASTERLIST
Noise complaints ran $25 a pop in Asia's building. Twenty-five dollars from her bank account and an awkward conversation with Alister when they crossed paths on Asia's way to the parking garage early the following Thursday morning.
"Please, don't take this wrong, but you and your friend are…loud. You gave our book club quite the show last weekend."
Asia could still feel the rise of bile in her throat while she listened to her usually quiet next-door neighbor explain every single sound and shout from her and Kelvin's escapades in extremely graphic detail. The taste seared into her tastebuds, following Asia into the afternoon's internal review. At the same time, Savannah, the brand lead, ran through slides outlining the wonderful world of influencer marketing to sell mid-tier poison their client called alcohol.
Desperate for a break from endless droning and word soup, Asia carefully took a screenshot of her noise complaint charge and copied it into a message for Kelvin to reawaken a thread that regularly kept them up into the wee hours of the morning.
Her mental vacation ended before it could start, forcing her back into the action. She placed her phone face down on the large conference table and tried to refocus while waiting for any sign that he'd received her attachment. She didn't have to wait for long. Asia's lips curled into a goofy grin when Kelvin broke eye contact from the presentation to glance at the message notification on his laptop screen. He maintained an impenetrable poker face to take pretended notes, exaggerating every deliberate tap against backlit black keys.
Kel You lowkey were kinda loud when we got back. It was cute. I'll pay. Zelle or ApplePay?
Asia bit back a smile at blurred flashbacks of the wall clock above her television ticking down the seconds til midnight with Kelvin's face back between her legs, pushing her past her limits for his pleasure and hers. Her fingers danced across the phone's digital keyboard.
Pretty Girl 💖💚 Don't worry about it. I had to be loud to cover for you.
Kelvin's grey bubble appeared and disappeared twice before vanishing altogether. Asia tried not to stare at the side of his head, hoping the telepathy she swore existed as a child still worked. She looked at Savannah and noted the color on her perfectly shaped nails. Then, she counted the grey hairs in the strategy director's beard, stopping at 35 before growing tired of the neverending task. Her attention shifted to the typo on the recap slide as she made a mental note to flag it in her post-meeting notes. A cough in the room made her ears perk for a second to determine if the offender was sick or dealing with a dry throat. Definitely sick. What she could make for dinner floated around with other fragmented thoughts. Potatoes, maybe? Pasta?
Unfortunately for her, nothing could hold her attention quite like the man coolly clicking-clacking on his sticker-covered laptop, seemingly unconcerned with her last text.
Kel I like the way you taste. Sue me. ApplePay: $28 Extra for the transfer
Static enveloped Asia's entire body, sending shock waves straight to the apex of her thighs until she was forced to cross her legs to stifle what she was sure would sound like a kitten's purr if she didn't put a muzzle on it quickly.
A smug smile graced Kelvin's otherwise expressionless face to add further insult to injury. In his periphery, Asia sat perfectly flustered with no outlet for all the squirming she tried to hide. Squirming that instantly reminded him of how he couldn't let her leave him on Saturday night without kissing both sets of lips one more time.
"Asia, can you update us on the timeline?"
Time lost to reliving every atom-splitting, toe-curling moment from the weekend left Asia scrambling to rearrange windows on her laptop to fulfill Savannah's perfectly reasonable yet ill-timed request. "Uh, yeah! One…one second."
She silently thanked the creator for protecting her screen from prying eyes while she tried to cosplay as a serious businesswoman. Sweat beading at her temples attempted to crack Asia's facade. Still, she recovered with a dancer's grace with nanoseconds to spare before a quick pause turned into awkward silence.
"Alright, cool. Sorry about that. Thursday is basically Friday for my brain," she apologized, earning mumbling agreement from her peers. "So, yeah, we're tracking toward Friday's round one client review. Andy, you'll take over copy duties for Kelvin since he's moving on to greener pastures at the end of the week."
Varying degrees of disappointment bubbled from the small group, forcing Kelvin to clarify Asia's intentionally vague announcement. "Greener pastures as in new business, y'all." Kelvin used a charming smile to douse burgeoning speculation sure to follow news of his departure. He shot Asia a warning look meant for her understanding alone. She shrugged to play innocent, and he chuckled at her act. "But, I'll take one of those goin' away happy hours like Ty's if y'all wanna give me one."
"Speaking of Ty's thing, are we cool with La Chila down the block? My wife says I gotta get more steps in for our family weight loss challenge. A walk to an early dinner counts, right?"
"Walking off ten calories to eat 700 in one sitting is insane, Chris."
Savannah's patented matter-of-fact quip generated enough uncontrollable laughter to distract the team from Asia's half-baked project timeline and Kelvin's air kiss in response to her middle finger emoji sent via Teams.
For all the time spent discussing boundaries and ways of working through their unconventional arrangement, remaining purely professional during their three days in the office was by far the easiest line in the sand to stay behind. They kept a careful distance, never spent time without another party present, kept electronic chats on work devices to a minimum, and never ever discussed their weekends as two parts of a whole when the topic inevitably reared its head during group lunches.
But, try as they might, rumors swirled in private pockets of office gossip until all interested parties were gathered over creamy, spicy queso and post-work margaritas.
Kelvin sat next to Asia as innocently as he knew how, ignoring the urge to rest his hand on her thigh while they whispered over which entrees they'd choose for the evening. Asia leaned into his body to share one menu despite having her own inches from her fingertips. She listened to Kelvin's recommendations with a soft smile and starry eyes, making sour cream and pinto beans seem like the most interesting inventions since the portable CD player. They were like magnets pulled together by an unseen force, unable to resist the other.
Already two shots and a celebratory sombrero dance number in, Ty used his privilege as the guest of honor to point in the duo's direction. "You two are super cute together. Aren't they super cute together, Sav?"
Always his partner in crime and cocktails, Savannah excitedly agreed as she waived an uneaten tortilla chip around in the air. "Oh my God, yes! I always thought that but, like, didn't want to be the blonde white girl shipping the two black people on the team."
"Well, I am black, and I think so too." Asia and Kelvin shot individual glares in Sidney's direction. She shrugged and smirked. "What! I can spot two hot people who need to be hot together from a mile away. I'm the one who hooked Ty up with Eric in analytics."
"And, while we despise each other now for reasons I won't share, it was fun while it lasted!"
Kelvin played it cool for both of them, calmly shifting his torso away from Asia to pluck a chip from the communal basket. "I hate to break up the love fest, but nothing is going on between us. We're work friends."
"At best," Asia added.
Ouch. Kelvin internally bristled at her unprompted callout with his cold beer bottle's amber tip pressed against his bottom lip. "At best."
If they'd tried harder, maybe they could've convinced Chris, Savannah, Sidney, Maddie, or a very tipsy Ty that what they had was a surface-level, totally uninvolved friendship. And, though they had no proof outside of speculation in a side chat, they all vowed to keep an eye on Thing 1 and Thing 2.
"Yeah. Alright," Sidney scoffed. "Friends at best. That's what we'll go with today. Everybody starts off as friends until that regular hug turns into a mouth hug. Ask my fiancé."
Chris groaned and ran both palms down his beet-red face. "Ya know, every time we have one of these, I leave knowing way too much about you, Sid. Fuckin' gross!"
_______________
Though margaritas had long been finished and Ty's desk was now just an empty surface waiting for a new tenant by Friday morning, Asia couldn't roll into her girl's night at Sabrina's without Sidney's accusation searing a hole into her memory.
Were they just friends? She'd long reckoned with the reality that physical intimacy wasn't enough to swing the pendulum in the dating direction. This was an arrangement for experience's sake, not one designed to turn weekend touching into date nights and meeting the parents.
But, she couldn't shake how Kelvin tensed at the mention of their working relationship or how acknowledging there was no room for more wilted the sprout of hope she'd been watering since the art show. He didn't correct her, and she couldn't bring it up because, well, they were playing by her rules. And you can't switch the rules in the middle of the game. That's cheating.
"Wings or pizza? Or and? Wings and pizza?"
Sabrina contemplating their options for "cheat day" yanked Asia back from a rapidly progressing mental spiral. She sipped from her glass of white wine before responding. "Depends. You getting it from the spot around the corner?"
"Duh," Sabrina scoffed while scrolling through the restaurant's online menu. "If I'm gonna cheat, I wanna enjoy it! Give me something to look forward to for next time."
"Um, are we still talking about food?"
The pair eyed each other from opposite ends of the couch, sporting grins threatening to explode into a fit of giggles. "I am if you are," Sabrina answered before slurping from her glass. Her eyes shifted to the ceiling to avoid facing Asia's judgment. "But, I'm not if you're not."
"Let's not even go there! You turned over a new leaf this week." Asia was more than privy to her friend's past transgressions. Old Sabrina was ruthless in her pursuit of happiness. New and Improved Sabrina was more settled in her relationship. Or, if nothing else, a better liar.
Before Asia could remind her host about the edibles she promised to furnish for their all-night Living Single binge, her phone buzzed beneath her thigh to steal a second of her attention.
Kel ??? My place this weekend? Pls Wanna make you a better steak than the one at the restaurant
Each short buzz in her palms made Asia giddy as she suppressed a squeal and mulled over how to reply. Her thumbs typed, deleted, typed, deleted, hovered, then typed again to craft a worthwhile response.
To: Kel Might need to actually hear you say pls. idk. sounds fake.
Sabrina watched her friend's grin outshine the LED lights bathing her in a faint blue glow from her crossed-leg position on the floor. She tried not to snoop but felt left out. She used a drawn-out sigh to pry Asia's attention away from her phone screen.
"Is that the boy? Art Hoe?"
Asia kissed her teeth and rolled her eyes. "I said that as a joke! His name is Kelvin, and yes, that was him. Just confirming some plans for tomorrow."
"So, is he like…your boyfriend? Y'all dating? Catch me up!" In their decade as sorority sisters and close friends, Sabrina knew of only one romantic interest in Asia's life: Joshua. Tall, dark, and effortlessly flirtatious, what started as innocent flirting while completing their work-study program crashed and burned into weeks of snotty crying. Mary J. Blige cranked to ungodly volumes inside their shared off-campus apartment. Six weeks of heavy-petting caused a lifetime of hurt Sabrina was sure ruined Asia for good.
Until three weeks ago, when text messages began interrupting their evenings of alone time. Sabrina would consider all the pesky interruptions water under the bridge if Asia was willing to come off of her secret lover and fill out the details of their peculiar relationship.
Asia wrestled with sharing until the buzz of Sauvignon Blanc convinced her that someone should know about the man keeping her holed up inside her place once a week—for safety purposes, of course.
Sabrina scooted closer to the edge of her floor pillow once Asia opened her mouth to speak but eeked out a girlish squeak instead. Asia calmed herself with a deep breath and then dished in one breath. "I don't know what the fuck we're doing, but damn it's good."
"Oooooh, Asia's got a boyfrieeeeend!" Sabrina teased.
"Not a boyfriend! We're just hanging out. He's…helping me with something?"
The murkiness in Asia's 'something' made Sabrina press for more. "Something like what? He hanging TVs or laying pipe?" The end of her question awakened a twinkle in Asia's eye like a code word, effectively dropping Sabrina's jaw to the floor. "Oh my God! Are you…are you having sex?"
Asia shrank back, finding herself no match for the immediate shyness sending heat to her face. "Kinda? He offered to help when we were out one night, and I said yes. We have a lesson every weekend, and he –"
"Wait, wait, wait, wait," Sabrina interjected as she waved her hands in front of her face. "Hold up. That man is teaching you how to fuck every weekend? That's where you been for damn near a month?" When Asia sheepishly nodded in the affirmative, Sabrina stood to dramatically throw her body on the couch. "Bitch. Spill right now, or I will kick you out of my house!"
There was no sense in hiding the truth. Sabrina would press until she was satisfied with Asia's answer, completely unraveling any suspected lie thrown her way. Asia needed to be thorough. No stone left unturned. No racey detail left untold. No story too insignificant to go unshared.
In the middle of Asia, recollecting how Kelvin had her gasping for air the previous weekend, her phone buzzed with an incoming message. 'Kel' lit up the screen. 1 Audio Message sat underneath his contact name like gold at the end of an unexpected rainbow.
Asia chewed her lip, tossing the idea of opening his gift with an additional set of ears in the immediate vicinity. "He just sent a voice note."
"You gon' play it?" Enthusiasm sent Sabrina inching closer for a better view of Asia's phone screen. "Play it!"
If not for curiosity gnawing at her mind and her friend's insistence, Asia would've left the message unplayed until she returned to the privacy of her own home. She had to know why a one-word request took three minutes and a few extra seconds. What was so important that he needed an entire song's length to get it all out?
Her finger quickly tapped the play button to pop the cork on Kelvin's response.
Rustling greeted Asia and Sabrina first. Then, a steady, deep breath filled an otherwise silent recording.
"Fuck." The audible squelch of skin on lubricated skin mingled with strangled moaning until he could speak again. "You just want me to beg? That's okay. I'll beg for you."
Sabrina's hand floated up to cover her open mouth. "Girl, is he…?"
"Shh!"
Asia couldn't pry herself away from the primal nature of each grunt and groan, no matter how much she attempted to will her body into action. Long, drawn-out moans quickly grew into choppy gasps. Curses devolved into fragmented pleas. Her name became a breathy chant until he'd worked himself into a tizzy. "Please, Asia?"
Registering coherent thoughts turned into a chore, leaving Sabrina to undertake stopping the recording before she knew more about Kelvin than she planned for one sitting.
They sat in stunned silence together, waiting for the other to break the ice. Asia slowly turned toward Sabrina to do the honors. "I need you to teach me how to suck dick. I'm talking 2014 Sabrina levels."
"Okay, first of all, that was a special time that can't be recreated," Sabrina answered before taking a long sip of wine. She'd long retired from legendary status on their college campus. Her jersey was in the proverbial rafters, making her a first-ballot Hall of Famer, able to bask in her long list of accomplishments and leave the game behind. But duty called. Asia watched her friend's lips slide into a smile before Sabrina sat back against the couch. "Second of all, Asia," she cooed as she lunged forward to wrap her friend in a hug. "You like him! Oh my goodness, this is so cute!"
Asia released a pitiful sound into her hands that eclipsed Sabrina's excited squeals. "I do. Fuuuuuck, I do!"
Realization felt like a prime Muhammad Ali punch to the face. She did like Kelvin. Try as she might, through all the so-called boundaries and walls she'd built for protection, the growing vines of feelings continued to grip her into its warm embrace. She liked him.
"Let's go. I got you!"
The couch shifting and lightening under Sabrina's retreating weight made Asia's eyes open in surprise. "That's it?" Confusion knitted her brown as she sat up straight to catch Sabrina sliding a light jacket over her arms and sliding her phone into her pocket. "Wait, where are you going?"
"We are going to the sex store. You gotta drive, though. Eric has my car." She answered while sliding her feet into slippers. When Asia didn't immediately make moves to venture into the chilly night air, Sabrina looked her up and down. "Or you could practice on the dick I got back there, but I have to boil it first. Me and Denzel had a time last night!"
Asia didn't mean to gag at the thought of putting her friend's used dildo in her mouth as she gathered her keys and phone from the coffee table, but she couldn't control the reflex. "You're nasty," she mumbled en route to the front door.
"Oh, baby, you haven't seen nasty yet. Just wait." Asia passing in front of Sabrina to exit provided the perfect opportunity for the taller woman to land a hard smack on her friend's ass and laugh, earning a sharp gasp in reaction as the sound reverberated against the hallway walls.
"Ugh, I'm about to make a mini-me! I'm so excited!"
_______________
All three minutes and a few seconds of Kelvin's begging weren't in vain.
With the sun setting beyond his floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking bustling downtown streets, Asia couldn't help but pat herself on the back. If she was going to choose any acquaintance to casually fuck and try not to fall for on her way to self-discovery, she was glad it was one with impeccable design taste and a view.
Canvas art and eccentric sculptures in every corner turned an ordinary space into something of an art gallery. Incense burning near the souped-up entertainment stand filled the room with something rugged and masculine Asia couldn't place but loved all the same. Family photos hung in the entryway gave her a glimpse of his life outside of the buddle they'd created. They looked like a jolly bunch, each with identically toothy grins and peanut butter skin tones. A look at his waffle boucle couch had her wondering what it'd be like to spend a rainy Sunday morning cuddled up with Kelvin's chest pressed to her back and his lips leaving soft kisses on her neck.
She hadn't seen much beyond his open-concept floorplan and the large kitchen with enough appliances to make Martha Stewart light up with joy. Before she arrived with dessert, she doubted Kelvin's ability to whip up anything outside of boy dinner or the occasional pancake. Never did she imagine the fragrant aroma of handcrafted cowboy butter spread across expensive cuts of steak. Creamy mashed potatoes sat steaming beside perfectly cooked broccolini, waiting for the entree to finish and for Kelvin to remove his hand from Asia's bra.
He kept her pressed against his island, one hand holding him steady against cold quartz and the other palming one breast while their tongues and lips danced a coordinated waltz to share the citrusy bite of orange-flavored sparkling water.
Asia broke their kiss first for a deep breath to treat her weak knees. "You're gonna burn the food," she warned as Kelvin drug his lips down the side of her neck.
"I'm paying attention. Got about a minute. Come here."
Their plans for a "more intense" session were doomed by Aunt Flo and her scheduled appearance. Asia insisted on calling the evening a wash and rescheduling for a better time, but Kelvin refused. More than anything, he liked spending time wrapped in her presence. Her prancing around his apartment in her helper's apron and a matching lounge set felt just domestic enough to imbue his mind with thoughts of her being around more permanently. Maybe a few more visits. Perhaps a spare key and a drawer or two for her things.
Asia returned to Kelvin's lips eagerly to sigh and keen for more against him until time slipped into an abstract concept for two minutes that felt like twenty. Rapid beeping from his microwave timer shocked them into pulling away, eliciting silly smiles and embarrassed chuckles.
Kelvin left Asia with one more peck before taking quick steps toward the stove to lower the blue flame. Asia watched his back tense and ripple beneath a crisp white T-shirt while he transferred a piping hot steak to a cutting board to rest.
"Babe, come over here and taste test for me?"
The word had already tumbled from his private thoughts into the open air too quickly for Kelvin to take back. He clamped his eyes shut to briefly pray God spared him from explaining his slip to the woman he wasn't supposed to fall for.
Asia calmly closed the distance between them, an easygoing smile showing no indication that she'd heard Kelvin's blunder. He let the moment pass without drawing attention to himself to carefully feed his dinner guest a juicy piece of medium-cooked steak.
He held a hand under Asia's chin to catch any spillage, and his eyes sparkled with intrigue as she took a small chunk into her mouth to judge his skills.
She dramatically hummed in approval and nodded. "Mmm. Okay, you were right," Asia complimented after slow chews to savor the taste. "That is the best steak I've ever had. I underestimated you. Forgive me."
"I'll forgive you after you rate the potatoes. Lowkey, I put my foot in those. Ankle deep."
"Gross, Kel."
Asia's rating for the potatoes? 10/10. For the chef? There wasn't a scale to convey how far he'd shot off the charts.
Easy conversation, full of budding inside jokes and the right amount of flirting, kept their time together lively. Quiet intimacy worked well for them. When chatter dwindled and cleaning took center stage, they fell into a wordless routine of washing and drying dishes side by side until the job was done and tired legs intertwined to rest from a long week.
Shadows dancing across Kelvin's face as he focused on some documentary he'd begged Asia to watch stole all her attention each time she looked at the other end of the couch. She tried to subdue Sabrina's voice in the back of her mind, trying to convince her to break the seal on all the knowledge she'd crammed in one night. Rushing into a skill she hadn't quite mastered sounded like a great idea when she had a front-row seat to his goosebump-inducing self-pleasure session. Seeing him innocently learn about the feeding patterns of nocturnal jungle ecosystems and considering a plan to renege on their decision to exist in non-sexual harmony felt wrong.
"But he started it." Asia thought to herself. The fondling. The kissing. The innuendos during dinner. The voice note is an invitation. He wasn't looking for sex, but he wouldn't mind it…right?
She had to make her move while she still felt confident. Otherwise, she'd allow Samira Wiley's voice to lull her to an embarrassingly deep sleep.
"Hey," she whispered to get Kelvin's attention. He didn't budge, finding too much interest in the luminescent carnivorous plant luring insects into its trap. Asia called to him again using a different method. "The potatoes weren't that good. I lied."
Kelvin scoffed. "Yeah, right. You cleaned your plate. Twice."
"My mama taught me manners, babe." She sassed, accentuating the pet name on purpose.
Kelvin kept calm with his signature charming smile while his pulse spiked internally. So she did hear me. He wasn't sure how to respond. Stopping to have a pow-wow about what exactly they were doing now that the rules of engagement felt wildly different would needlessly slow a good thing to a screeching halt.
So, he swallowed every question to redirect his nervous energy into gently tugging Asia's ankle to bring her a centimeter closer. "You should come down here with me."
Jackpot.
Asia didn't expect her plan to unfold so quickly. Swapping sides to lie face to face opened the door to more touching, kissing, shared breaths, and head highs under the twinkle of skyscraper lights.
Tensions rising brought flashes of Sabrina and her boot camp back for Asia with renewed ferocity. Now or never. Grab that dick by the horns or something along those lines.
"Can…can we try something tonight?"
Kelvin tightened his grip on her ass cheek and pulled away from her neck. "Try what?"
"I wanted to try, um, you know…fellating…you?" Asia mentally scolded herself for sounding timid as Kelvin snickered against her collarbone.
"Fellating? What is this, sex ed?" He chuckled, earning an agitated smack from Asia to the back of his head. He nuzzled closer to kiss a spot at the juncture of her neck and shoulder. "Seriously, you don't have to do that. I'm okay with what we're doing. No pressure."
He was right. No pressure. She knew that already. But pressure wasn't guiding her off the couch and onto her knees between his thighs. That was curiosity. And the pressure wasn't what drove Kelvin crazy as she helped him out of his sweats and briefs to carelessly toss them to the side. That? That was untamed desire flooding every bone in his body. Pressure had no dominion in his living room. Only the spirit of exploration and freedom.
And nervousness. Definitely nervousness.
Give him eye contact. Cover your teeth. Use your tongue. Relax your jaw. Suck, don't just glide. All of the sage advice from the previous night blurred into one incomprehensible ball of incessant chatter across the grooves of Asia's brain.
She chose to kiss her way into confidence, dropping slow pecks across Kelvin's thighs like he'd done to her in their last session. Delicate touches and soft lips made his muscles tense while he watched her watch him.
He draped one arm across the back of his couch and rested a hand on her cheeks to run his thumb along the spot. "That's perfect. Go as slow as you want. Stop when you want. It's your choice."
Reassurance and an encouraging smile convinced Asia to test her high school-level knowledge of anatomy. No amount of videos linked in her Girl's Talk Reddit thread or hands-on, dildo-led speed runs with Sabrina could prepare her for an up close and personal view. At least they both seemed happy to see her.
His dick stood at half-mast, waiting for Asia to make a move. More kisses took her from muscular inner thighs up the length of his shaft and to a tip already glistening as if to welcome her into an event where the host was awaiting her arrival. A spark of wonder made her swipe her tongue over the spot to taste, but the quiet curse from Kelvin kept her there for more.
Spit on it. Sabrina's voice reminded Asia as she debated what to do next. Not a gross factory worker chewing tobacco spit. Slow. Make him watch. Asia used the saliva coating her mouth in a Pavlovian response to connect with Kelvin once she pulled away to get a better look at her subject.
A slightly above-average size. It wasn't close to her practice dummy, but 11 inches was ridiculous, even by Sabrina's standards. Well-groomed. Prettier than any she'd ever seen on the other side of a screen. Heavy in her hands, but not enough to make her think twice about eventually working it down her throat. A work of art waiting for her oral appraisal.
Kelvin's head lulled back against the wall as his jaw dropped to make space for a shuttering breath. "Fuck, that's sexy." He used all the strength in his neck to look back down at Asia. "Where'd that come from?"
"I wanted to surprise you," she answered, round-doe eyes peering back at him. "So, I took a little lesson." She leaned forward to wrap her lips around his tip and suckle for a few seconds to see if Sabrina was right about the expected reaction. Kelvin's hand sliding from her jaw to her chin to hold her steady was all the confirmation she needed.
At some point, Kelvin would come off Cloud 9 to inquire about Asia's mystery teacher. Not out of jealousy or to accuse, but to find out who should receive the flowers and card he'd already mentally purchased for their service.
He'd be lying if he said Asia had reached pro status. Every tentative lick and split second of disjointed rhythm reminded him that she was a novice in the game. It didn't stop him from singing her praises while she worked double-time to get the hang of things.
She listened to instructions and turned them into action, taking every "Just like that" and "Slow up" in stride as she learned the ropes. Asia allowed Kelvin to guide her head up and down until she no longer needed his help to maintain a toe-curling one-woman show.
He swallowed the lump in his throat to provide positive reinforcement. "There you go. Wow, you look so pretty right now."
Asia felt like she had the entire world in her hands. What power. She could command his every movement with her mouth and illicit unfathomable sounds with a flick of her tongue. Older women made the act sound so degrading as if engaging with a man in this way made her more property than a fully realized woman. And maybe the men they dealt with hadn't been partners willing to treat them like equals. But Kelvin showered her with so much affection and care that it made her want to go the extra mile.
The twisting motion of her palms against slick skin made Kelvin curse to the ceiling, undoubtedly disturbing the unfortunate soul above him. The sight of him beginning to unravel sparked an idea. "Is this what you like?"
He blinked his eyes back into focus and nodded. "Hell yeah. You think you can try both?"
She'd give it a valiant attempt.
For a moment, Asia mulled over how to maintain harmony between parallel work streams. She observed her hands for the right moment to bring her mouth into action as if waiting for her cue to jump into the center of double dutch ropes.
Up and down. Twist. Suck. Go now! Shit. Kelvin observed while the wheels turned in her head, trying to split his attention between how cute she looked with her brow furrowed in thought and how that tell-tale pit in his stomach was starting to tense his abdomen.
Her leap of faith caught him by surprise, dragging out a long, throaty moan as she quickly settled into what looked like an effortless working relationship between body parts.
Arousal awakened goosebumps across his skin. His nipples ached for touch, and he satisfied them by slipping a hand under his shirt. His brain began to cloud, robbing him of words he knew he should've offered as encouragement. His head felt like a boulder on his neck as he rested against the back of his couch.
Bursts of light played behind his eyes as the inevitable greeted him with open arms. "Fuck, fuck, fuck," he chanted, desperate to get Asia's attention. He couldn't surprise her with the release approaching hard and fast. "Fuck! I'm gonna cum. I don't wanna –"
Asia didn't need the explanation. Thankfully, Sabrina had already prepared her for the endless possibilities once an eruption seemed imminent. She slowly removed her mouth and added a second hand to twist in the opposite direction. The grand finale. The moment they'd both been waiting for.
Kelvin thrust into her palms to coax out warm spurts of semen over Asia's fingers and down her knuckles. She caught herself moaning with him, unable to contain the sound as she watched the reward of her work slide between each digit until her lover was spent and heaving for more oxygen to soothe his burning lungs.
"Stop, stop." His pleading reminded Asia that she was still pumping, still milking him for all he had left. Her inner voice told her to prolong the moment and see how far she could push him until he was a babbling mess that only she could control. Kelvin saw the monster in her grin and rushed to kiss her, hoping she'd consider a different option.
Their tongues and lips returned to each other in a panting, sloppy kiss while Kelvin used the distraction to push Asia's hands away before she started something they both knew she wasn't ready to finish. He had plenty of towels and wasn't opposed to breaking a rule or two.
Sticky fingers growing increasingly uncomfortable made Asia pull away. "This is starting to feel weird in my hands," she laughed.
"Oh shit, my bad." Kelvin forced himself to forgo one more kiss as he rested his forehead against hers. "Washcloths are in the bathroom closet. Bring one for me?"
"Of course."
Asia sported a goofy, proud smile while staring into his bathroom mirror, warming a bathing towel to take back to Kelvin. She wondered if texting Sabrina immediately would be in poor taste. Should she drop an emoji in the broader group chat full of their line sisters and go ghost waiting for them to decipher her cryptic message? Or would it make more sense to try and gather as many of the images flashing through her mind as possible, like reels passing through a view master, and store them for her alone time?
She pushed all the options elsewhere in favor of returning to Kelvin with a wet rag to gingerly clean all traces of their unplanned romp from his still blazing-hot skin.
He watched her with infatuation, coloring his gaze and a grin on his lips. His girl. At least for the few hours they got to spend willinging sharing their bodies with one another each weekend. He could pretend they were two people dating in pursuit of the elusive love he'd seen up close once before but couldn't hold on to. She'd be so beautiful sitting across from him on a night out, her fingers interlaced with his while they traded sweet everything over candlelight. He'd learn her favorite colors and her deepest fears. She'd listen to him go on and on about nature docs and make him go to bed when the wee hours of the morning crept up on him and his latest project.
Asia's gaze flashed up to catch him transfixed in a daydream she needed to know about. "What's going on in that brain of yours?"
Wanting to tell her the truth and wanting to maintain their mutually beneficial relationship pulled him in opposite directions. He took a deep breath to roll the dice, hoping that once he uncorked the words, they wouldn't create a stain big and messy enough to make what they'd created unsalvagable.
"If you're up for it," he started, cautiously choosing as he spoke. "I think we should try the real thing next time."

“Mr. Barnes, your wife is here to see you.”
Bucky stands behind his large mahogany desk and runs a hand along his jaw.
“Send her in.”
You walk through the door with a flourish and a smile.
“Hi Buck,” you sing.
“Doll face,” he greets, his smile playful as it teases his lips. “Missed me that much?”
He calls you over with a crook of his finger and pulls you in a for a kiss.
“Always,” you whisper against his lips. “You’ve been working late every night this week and we haven’t had lunch once!”
You pout but he kisses it off your lips.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t meet you today. This new account is a real pain in my ass.”
His fingers gently stroke your cheek before pressing under your chin to hold your face to his for more kisses.
“I know,” you say, “I brought you some food and thought we could at least spend our lunch hour together.”
You plop the takeout bag on the corner of his desk and then slip around him to sit in his leather chair.
He turns and leans back against the desk, studying you. Just as he’s about to say something his phone rings. He reaches for it, answering with an indifferent “yes.”
With a nod he starts speaking into the phone, clearly talking about this new ‘pain in the ass’ account. His jaw tenses and his fingers tighten around the receiver showing his clear annoyance over the disruption.
You cross your legs, and his eyes track the movement, lingering before he motions for you to stand.
He reaches forward, pen poised between his finger and thumb, and uses the tip to lift the hem of your skirt.
It’s slow and deliberate and when he sees the lace of your stockings and the garter belt his eyes widen.
They move up your body, darkening as they travel, and your heart begins to beat faster.
“No, no,” he says sternly into the phone. “Nothing like that…”
You fall back into his chair and spread your legs, hiking the skirt up to your hips.
“Yes, I understand,” he says, his voice deeper and slightly hoarse now.
Your fingertips trace the lines of the garter, along your bare skin to the silk of your panties.
“Yes,” he continues into the phone, eyes locked on your every move.
You throw him a false saccharine smile and pull your bottom lip between your teeth as you push your panties aside and run two fingers along your wet skin.
He coughs and grabs his water, taking a large sip.
“That’s fine, Steve. We can work with that timeline.”
The plastic bottle crushes under the weight of his grip, and your smile turns devilish. You begin moving your fingers, your eyes falling closed and head dropping back against the chair.
You imagine his long fingers doing the work, touching you, grabbing your hips. A tiny moan escapes, and you think about his taut arm muscles, strained and flexing as he moves his fingers inside you…his eyes, dark and pleading.
You look up to see them exactly as that, his gaze drifting from your face to the hand between your legs. His hungry expression moves back to your face, and he watches you fall apart with his name on your parted lips.
It’s overwhelming and unsatisfying: you need it to be his touch.
At some point, he ended the call, and now your heavy breathing is too loud for the quiet room as he sits across from you on the desk, his free hand gripping the edge so hard his knuckles are turning white.
“Fuck doll,” he growls. “Look what you do to me.”
He adjusts himself in his pants and you see the straining outline of his cock pressed along the tight fabric.
You grin and start to straighten yourself out.
“Pretty sure I just did that to myself…”
His eyes sparkle and he lifts his brows. “Should have been me.”
“Obviously. And now our lunch is over, and I have to go back to work.”
You stand and smooth down your skirt.
“Like hell you’re goin’ back to work,” he whisper shouts.
Your only response is to grab his tie and yank his lips down to yours before you walk through his door and down the hall, your heels clicking until you disappear onto the elevator. His loud, “fuck!” the last thing you hear.
The moment you step off the elevator you have a text from him.
“I’m picking you up at work. Five sharp. And I don’t want to hear shit about it.”
You smile but don’t respond, shoving your phone back into your bag and heading out through the double doors to your own office building.

It’s five on the dot and you look out your office window, noticing the sleek black car that pulls up right in front. Deciding to take your time, you tidy up your desk and gather your things, stepping out to meet him at about eight minutes after five.
“You’re late,” Bucky says when he gets out to hold the door open for you.
With a demure shrug you slide into the seat and watch him breeze around the car. He doesn’t drive away from the curb, and you look over to see his nostrils flared.
“Aren’t you going to take me home?”
“Get in the backseat.”
You blink several times and stare.
“What?”
“You heard me. Get in the backseat. Now.”
He reaches over to unbuckle the seatbelt for you, waiting with heated eyes for you to do as you’re told.
“You want to play doll. We’ll play.”
You smirk and start to climb over the middle console to the plush and spacious leather seats in the back. He lands a hard smack to your ass when you pass by, and you let out a squeal as you fall against the soft material.
He pushes through the middle, his tie hanging loosely in the air, and you grab it, pulling him on top of you. With a growl he kisses you, rough and without patience. He wastes no time pulling your shirt free of your skirt and ripping the buttons apart until it falls open to reveal your lacy bra.
“All day. All fucking day,” he murmurs.
“All day what?” you sass against his lips as you work open his pants.
“I’ve been hard and thinking about nothing else but burying myself between your legs.”
His hands wander over your skin, and he slips them under your skirt, pushing it up to your hips and then tracing the delicate little ribbons on the edge of your stockings.
You pull his chest to yours and kiss him, long and deep, gaining more urgency with every inch of skin uncovered.
You rip his shirt from his pants and explore the skin over his ribs, the sharp definition of muscle at his hips, and the soft trail of hair that disappears into his boxer briefs.
He groans into your mouth and deftly unhooks your garter belt, peeling your panties down and spreading your legs.
Pulling your leg forward you push him back and off you, sitting up so you can shove him against the seat back and straddle his lap.
With frantic hands you reach down and take him between your fingers, guiding his cock into you. Your eyes close as you slowly slide down every thick inch of him.
“Oh my god,” you moan.
You start to ride him, the pain of his rough fingertips on your hips only fueling you on. His sounds of pleasure are muffled between your breasts, and he pulls one bra cup down to close his mouth around your hardened nipple.
Your palm hits the dark tinted window and slides down from the condensation, but your hips don’t falter, and you hear him moan out your name.
“Fuck, I’m gonna come if you keep that up doll.”
He lifts you off him and roughly throws you down onto the seat. Pushing your legs apart he thrusts back in and picks one of your legs up over his shoulder.
“Oh fuck, yes.”
“Yeah doll?”
He smirks down at you and reaches out to grip the door frame and uses it for leverage, pushing deeper.
“Is this how you like it? This is what you get for showin’ up in my office and teasing me like that.”
“No,” you sass back and lift your hips to meet his. “I like it harder Bucky.”
“Fuck,” he murmurs.
The windows are completely fogged and your slick skin slides along the leather seats. You watch as his body strains with effort, the tendons in his neck pulled tight and you slip your legs off his shoulders, tugging all his weight on top of you, pleading over and over for more.
“Anything,” he growls. “I’ll give you anything.”
Your nails dig into his back, and you cry out his name. He swears, loud and deep and stutters above you.
With a satisfied sigh he collapses, burying his face in your neck. You can’t resist running your hands through his hair, feeling his heart race against your chest. You lay there together in the cramped space, breathing each other in until he lifts his head and your eyes lock.
“I love you baby,” he whispers against your lips.
“Love you too Buck.”
“Come on,” he says, gently helping you up and fixing what he can of your clothing. His touch is a soft caress, and you lean into it.
“Let’s get you home doll. I’ll make dinner and then you can be my dessert.”

The country side 🌾
Landlord!Billy Loomis and Stu Macher x AFAB Reader

Lots of inspo pics and plenty of filth. I got very motivated and inspired with this one so here it is! There's some plot developing here and adding an extra character kinda takes it further, no? I'd love to hear suggestions for a possible second part. Asks and comments are greatly appreciated. or just straight up thirst ;) I'd like to thank @toxicanonymity for giving me the green light with this concept and also for inspo with some things. Ily Toxi bb <33
Warnings: Slow burn and lots of teasing, mention of abuse, very graphic sexual descriptions and imaginations, plenty of underwear kink, panty sniffing, mention of: panty stuffing, mention of: double penetration, suggestive Stuilly comment, and more filth, AFAB reader (no pronouns used,) UNEDITED

Being invisible to your family and getting out of an abusive relationship would break anyone, and it did for a while, until you had enough. You needed a change. A drastic one, so you decided to move out from the city and into the countryside. You also got a companion along the way to join you, a beautiful German Shepherd named Rex.
Traveling without a destination and staying with strangers or in motels was fun for a few months. Not to mention the spontaneous hookups. They didn’t really satisfy you much, if you were being honest, so you’d often ended up in a strangers house fucking yourself in the shower. If you were lucky enough they’d have a shower head installed. Free sex toy for the win. It’s safe to say that you needed your own space to live with Rex. Nothing permanent though, a mortgage was out of the question.
After some research and a few visits to different properties, you found the perfect one. A ranch style cabin in a cute piece of land that had a few other properties and some trailers at a good distance from each other. It wasn’t luxurious by any means, but it was different and that’s all you needed.
On the official move in day you met one of the two landlords, Stu Macher. He’s the one you were constantly communicating with while doing all the paperwork and calls until finally stepping in your long awaited home.
“You like it? It’s one of our oldest structures and the cutest one in my opinion.” Stu said with a flirty tone as he gave you a tour of the wooden cabin. After he commented on the “property”, the man looked at you and smiled, revealing those dimples you couldn’t take your eyes off of the second you started talking to him. His short salt and pepper hair along with his trimmed, short beard made him all the more attractive, and combined with his height? The size difference was significant between the two of you and that was the cherry on top. He sounded delicious on the phone but you didn’t know he’d be that fucking hot. The rolled up sleeves of his flannel, light wash jeans that did absolutely nothing to hide the prominent bulge and fuck, you could go on.
“It’s definitely quite charming,” you replied and smiled innocently, an act that he didn’t buy for a second. You both felt the flirty undertones and you planned on continuing your little game.
“Is he a biter?” Stu suddenly switched the topic and gave Rex some attention. He slowly crouched down as you shook your head no.
“He’s a protective boy but he’s chill if there isn’t any immediate danger,” you replied and Stu cooed at your companion as he gave him rough playful pets with those large hands of his, which Rex enjoyed very much. Lucky much? A hot middle aged man who’s an animal lover like you and your landlord who lives a few feet away from your new home? A perfect start to your day, and you hadn’t even met the second landlord yet.
•
Throughout the week you spent your time organizing all your belongings and cleaning. One particular day you were outside with the water hose washing away paint stains from the porch. You wore a dangerously short sundress, mainly for the heat and partially because Stu lives close enough to get a good view of your ass whenever you bent down to pick items up as he attempted to weed his garden, which he rarely did, but this time the man had motivation and a very good reason to be outside.
You purposely wore a bright colored thong so it was visible whenever you kneeled down, exposing your cute, barely covered cunt just for Stu to look at. The man nearly drooled at the sight and felt himself get hard in his tight jeans. He imagined burying his face between those gorgeous thighs of yours and taking a good sniff before eating you up like his life depended on it.
As you continued cleaning, Rex got excited when he woke up from his nap and saw that you were "playing with water," so your companion ran excitedly up to you and straight under the stream.
“No! Not now Rex, c’mon!” You yelled, loud enough for him to hear. Even if he was a good boy he had his moments. You struggled with him for a while, trying to get him to go inside but Rex thought it was a brilliant idea to start running towards one of the cabins close by and "conveniently enough", it was Billy Loomis' cabin.
The man sat on the bench strategically positioned on his porch to observe whoever walked by his property. A white t-shirt and oversized jeans barely covered his abdominal area and exposed his v-line. The cigarette in his large hand, between those delicate fingers that could kill anyone that tested him if needed. Billy doesn’t trust anyone. He has a short temper and he's dangerous. A combination you're a total sucker for.
As he blew the smoke out of his mouth slowly, he saw your German Shepherd enter his property. Seconds after, you came into view running towards the animal.
Billy didn't bother moving from his spot, he just observed the scene before him knowing damn well that if he needed to use the glock that was tucked behind him at that moment he would've done it without hesitating.
As you ran, your tits bounced in your sundress and it lifted up your thighs as you ran, giving the man a delicious view. A whole ass show, if he was being honest.
Rex almost made his way on the porch but luckily you grabbed his collar before it occurred.
"Oh Gosh, I'm so sorry! He's been going crazy ever since we moved here," you explained, nearly out of breath from running.
"No worries, it tends to happen," Billy responded softly, a smirk adorning his face, raking his eyes up and down your body shamelessly.
You laughed, still out of breath. As you scanned his cabin you saw an “administration” sign on the front door, just like Stus. Of course he’s just as hot as Stu.
"Oh, you’re one of the landlords… I hope this isn’t getting me kicked out or anything." You said, half serious, half joking, flashing and adorable smile and poor attempt at seeming concerned.
Billy chuckled and took another drag from his cigarette, “Nah, it happens. YN, right?”
The way your name rolled off his tongue did unexpected things to your body and you hummed enjoying the sound before confirming his question.
Billy shifted his gaze towards Rex and nodded his head towards him.
“He bite?” The man asked, same as Stu did a few days prior. Why are they so concerned?
“Oh, no. Nothing like that, unless he’s threatened, of course.” You replied and a few seconds later Rex approached Billy and sniffed him. The man didn’t move a muscle, trying to avoid making a scene, and to his surprise your companion put his paws on his thighs and looked for pets which Billy gladly gave him.
“Y’know, if you need help moving the rest of your stuff in I can give you a hand.” Billy offered while still giving attention to Rex.
“That would be great, actually. I still have some stuff in my truck.” You replied and he stood up, raking his eyes over you on the way up before meeting your gaze and standing a bit too close for an average distance. You couldn't help but bite your lip.
“I’ll come by tomorrow then.” You both agreed and you made your way back to your property, swinging your hips more than usual as you walked away from his house. Billy paid attention to your short dress again and wondered if you wore anything under there. Fuck, he wanted to find out. Needed to know, and even if you wore anything under there he’d still want to take a look.
Maybe he’d go through your boxes the next day and see if he finds some of your panties. Better yet, used ones. He’d definitely have some fun with those. Maybe he’d get some for Stu, too. If he was feeling nice enough.
•
The next day Billy and you started unboxing your stuff early in the morning. The sun was bright and the sky was clear and it quickly got hot as mid day approached. The white tank Billy was wearing stuck to his body with the sweat that glazed his skin. You couldn’t take your eyes off him for one second. His abs were showing through the fabric of his shirt and his v line was prominent, just like the bulge under that goddamn belt that you’d love to be tied up with. Spanked with, even.
The mattress you had been transporting for weeks before arriving was one of the last things to unload from your truck and Billy insisted on carrying it in himself.
“Are you sure? I can help Billy, seriously” You said as he moved the mattress in a comfortable position to unload it from your vehicle.
“Don’t worry about it sweetheart, seriously.” he answered before whistling at Stu to come over and help him.
Sweetheart.
“Give me a hand here.” Billy said as Stu approached him.
“Gladly.” Stu answered suggestively and Billy glared at him.
You took note of their little exchange and observed as they carried the mattress into your house. Their biceps were on full display and they grunted occasionally while moving the item. If you were growing wet just by looking at Billy, imagine having both of them looking that good in front of you and entering your house. Heck, you’d tell them to place that mattress right in the middle of your living room and fuck you right then and there. Let them stuff you with their evidently big cocks in whichever hole they pleased. You'd scream and whine for them like a pathetic slut. You needed them both so bad at that point.
•
“What a babe, right?” Stu told Billy quietly as they moved the mattress into your room.
“Yeah, it’s been a while since-” – “You guys want lemonade?” You interrupted and both men looked at each other before Stu followed you excitedly to the kitchen. He's so easily distracted in annoyed the fuck out of Billy sometimes. However, he stayed behind and decided to search your drawers… until he found exactly what he was looking for. What he needed. Your panties, and boy do you have quite the collection. From boy shorts that probably rose up your ass to the skimpiest thongs that most likely didn’t cover your cunt at all. You even had crotchless ones and he wondered who was lucky enough to fuck you in those. When he saw a bright red thong, he imagined they look delicious on you, and they'd look even better pulled to the side or… what if he stuffed your hole with them? The possibilities were endless and he was already half hard.
To make things even better, Billy found a little pile of dirty clothes in a corner of your room and he nearly ran towards it before digging in and… Jackpot! There they were. A bright pink thong, freshly used, and of course he had to take a little sniff. He'd definitely have fun with those at night while he jacked off with them around his cock. Maybe he'd record himself and send it to you later. How would you react?
Before leaving, Billy decided he was feeling generous, so he stole a black thong for Stu, which he gave to the man right after they left your house.
“You’re fucked up, man.” Stu said while chuckling.
“Look who’s talking.” Billy said while pointing at Stu’s pocket where your underwear was stuffed. The man would also have some fun with those later…
•
As weeks went by the men got closer to you, but Billy needed to have you first, so he offered to fix every little problem you had in your house. From the drain pipes to the TV, the door that squeaks annoyingly and every other thing he could find that involved him being in your house. You couldn't deny that you loved it, and maybe you broke a thing or two on purpose so he’d fix it for you, in order to have some eye candy around.
One particular day you had a leak under your kitchen sink and couldn’t figure out where it came from so like always, you called Billy, your personal handyman at that point.
The tension between you two grew quickly and you thought you were gonna go insane, so you made sure to tease him enough so that it pushed him over the edge, so he’d finally make a move. You could've done it yourself but you were busy enjoying the torture of keeping the air hot and heavy.
“It’s been like that for days and I can’t find the source.” You exaggerated your frustration. He didn't buy the act, but it seemed like he enjoyed when you faked being confused and helpless, so you gave him plenty of that in order to rile him up.
“Here, let me show you.” You said before crouching down and sticking your upper body in, purposefully sticking your ass out. The low rise mini skirt you wore barely covered you and the white thong you chose to wear was on display for the man.
Billy inhaled, trying to remain calm but his cock was already hard at the sight.
He's had enough.
“Let me see,” he said and grabbed your hips to help you up, just to turn you around and hold you against the counter. You gasped in surprise and excitement, his hands were finally on you. Billy slipped his fingers under the straps of your thong and hissed.
“You really went far with these.” He said before snapping the fabric against your hips.
You bit your lip and giggled, trying to seem innocent but it just annoyed him at that point.
Billy pressed his lower body against yours for you to feel his hard on. Fuck, he feels big. Just how you imagined the countless nights you ride your dildo thinking about him and Stu.
“Mm, it doesn't seem like you mind though,” you answered and he slid his hand down your lower back to your ass and squeezed.
“I mind you testing me like this and thinking you can get away with it this time.” He said, voice low and serious.
“Oh c'mon Loomis, loosen up” you said while grabbing his belt and giving it a tug. He groaned at your actions and spread your legs with his thigh only to press it against your dripping cunt.
“I'm not giving you what you want that easily.” Billy said and moved his face dangerously close to yours, “I like playing hard to get, too” he finished. His lips brushed against yours as he was talking and you released a little whimper at the sensation. Fuck, he got you good.
“Now, make yourself useful and go get me my tools” he said while releasing you. The man gave you a little spank as you walked away and you giggled in response.
“You want to play? Let's play.” You spoke to yourself as you made your way outside.

Was there an in-between point of passive! Nightmare’s normal face and Atrophy’s…yknow…. Like, how Atrophy eyeball??
(I’ve been thinking too hard about how Nightwatch versions of crossmare errormare or killer mare shipkids would look like because the design style for is au is just too interesting not to, but there’s the issue of how the hell to project how alien Atrophy looks onto a ship kid. Like, with how cross’ scar is longer and across his face maybe nightwatch incubux would have a row of the “teeth” (from the inside of Atrophy’s pupil) protruding out from across his face. Or a nightwatch tenpatch would have the inside of their left eye have the same design as Atrophy’s face hole.)
Here’s the transition between passive and corruption for atrophy.
Also some of his common faces at the bottom but that’s extra unrelated art
Now Atrophy has no bones or ecto or anything he originally should have. He is just goo, very acidic toxic goo. So if he were to have a baby then that child would probably be incredibly chronically disabled because the goo would eat the organic parts of the child. Atrophy naturally is supposed to present more mold and fleshy like, he just over 700 years now has the resources and practice to shape his body perfect to how he wants it. But a baby wouldn’t so they would look like a uh,, body horror baby. Random sets of teeth in random facial holes and large cysts of painful acid. Small plant like mold growths on their face like whiskers.
An ugly baby most likely. If that baby grew up it would be interesting to see how it looks and develops it’s form.
More realistically Atrophy would kill it as he doesn’t like ugly things, or put it in a little jar in a display case.
Now for shipping
Yk i actually did not write nightwatch with ships in mind believe it or not (with some exceptions). So it was, surprising to say the least when a lot of people talk about ships and nightwatch in my asks. Out of the three ships you mentioned only one is possible? Errormare, but even then Atrophy doesn’t like poor people and they virtually don’t interact. Killer is a slave to Atrophy and Atrophy would rather eat another tree then touch him. and Cross is very much dead (or so how I originally wrote him, but it seems like alot of people want to see cross in nightwatch so uh I’ll consider his life,, I’ll probably bring him back so I guess he’s alive?)
But also in nightwatch, babies are sometimes made through divine intervention. So I guess if creators wanted to fuck with them they would bless the world of nightwatch with a mold baby. Which again atrophy would kill or jar.
Sorry if my reply is a downer, I do enjoy your ideas for design! I think atrophy’s children of they were somehow alive and survived the jar and atrophy- would be a good opportunity for crazy designs like scar teeth (great idea). If they did carry on atrophy’s scar then I think it would be a good metaphor for generational trauma as that scar is just symbolic of his trauma. Idk there’s many interesting ways you can take that and I’m happy you’re thinking about nightwatch.
I do encourage waiting for the comic before shipping because,,,, well there’s a lot of graphic abuse and torture between a lot of characters who are commonly shipped together in the utmv fandom (not just killermare but more). No need to feel bad about this though, I’m not upset and there is no way for you to know that!
Please keep thinking of nightwatcg it makes me happy and I can’t shut up.

Part 1
Hi! Sorry this took so long (new job). Let's get right to it.
Q: What are dividers?
A: Dividers are any graphic that is used to divide two things, usually bodies of text. They are useful for breaking up blog posts and signalling the end of a topic. You might not have noticed, but many websites feature dividers of some kind. Bloggers, however, tend to be a bit extra about their dividers. Here are some good examples:
Q: Ok, cool. It probably wasn't necessary for you to put that many examples, but it does make it clear that dividers can be pretty much anything. Still, I think there are more graphics that you've posted. What about those tiny thingys?
A: You mean favicons? Yeah, let's talk about those.
Favicons are tiny images that represent a website or company. Any easy example is probably right in front of you, if you're on a laptop. Look at the Tumblr tab you have open; do you see the little "t" icon? That's a favicon. Favicons were originally 16x16 pixels. They can be animated.
That being said, lots of people use the term to refer to any small pixel art. These can also be called pixels.
Q: Wait. Why call pixel art a pixel? Aren't pixels single points on a screen?
A: Well, yes. And favicons are supposed to have very specific dimensions and uses, but here we are. "Pixels" can sometimes refer to tiny pixel art, usually between 16x16 and 32x32 pixels (I know, confusing) large. These pixels are often animated. I use favicons and pixels to refer to the same thing.
Q: Ok, I think I get it. But what are pixels used for? Are they essentially icons, or trademarks, like favicons?
A: Sometimes, but usually not. They are often used like bullet points in website directories or lists. I've also seen them used as emoticons, buttons, and decorations. Some people like to simply collect them.
Here are some examples of pixels/favicons:
Q: oOoOO. I like those. Is there anything else people collect?
A: Yep! Pretty much all graphics are collectible. That being said, some lack any use except to be displayed. Fanlisting buttons, for example.
Q: What are fanlistings?
A: Fanlistings were a way for fans to connect online before social media really took off. They were basically online bulletins listing contact info of the fanbases members so that you could connect with like-minded people. They aren't much of a thing now, but they do exist. People who love Spacehey and Neocities are likely to use them. You can register for some and take a button to put on your blog to let others know you're part of that fandom. It also links to the fanlisting itself for others to join. Here are some fanlisting buttons (I haven't joined any):
They are usually 50x50, but don't have to be: they can even be other graphics, like 88x31 buttons! Some other common dimensions are 75x50, 100x35, and 100x50.
In part three, we'll finish up with a couple odd graphics, some interesting old websites, and useful posting tips.
