Bell's Hells, who love their friend Laudna even though she's possessed by the spirit of a woman who wants her to murder the world for power.

Who love Chetney, even though he's lost control of his werewolf powers and attacked them with intent to kill.

Who loved FCG even though he was created *by Aeor itself* as a weapon designed to lose control over himself and slaughter everyone and murdered his former party.

Who love their friend Imogen even though she's struggling to let go of her mother who is part of Ludinus's murder cult.

Who love and respect and listen to and defend Fearne and Ashton and Dorian even though their views of socially constructed morality are best described as "eh???"

Who are loved and trusted by Orym, who knows they don't always see eye to eye but that they will have his back.

Watching a group of misfits forced from their home, trying to make the best choices they can in the midst of an impossible situation, as much a part of this world as any one of them, seriously weighing the costs of their choices and keenly feeling the responsibility on their shoulders . . .

Sorry, Ludinus, I'm not sure the Hells are seeing what you want them to see.

I can't stop thinking about the developing dynamic between Essek and Fearne, especially since Fearne seems to have discovered a particular joy in needling him, possibly because a lot of his sarcasm has been aimed at her.

But then there was that little moment where Fearne said, "I thought you said don't touch anything" and Essek gave her that little smile and replied, "I'm not touching it, am I?", and I thought - oh. He's starting to like these little shits, especially the faun who won't stop giving him trouble. From Fearne's reaction to this - the mocking that turned into a grin, calling him cheeky - you can see her starting to understand Essek's particular brand of humor in return.

It would be so hilarious if Essek comes out of this adventure having been adopted by an entirely new adventuring party who have forced friendship on him. I can think of nothing I'd wish for him more than that.

im really liking campaign 3 so far !!! i was doodling fearne as a break from my homework but ended up spending a bit longer cleaning the sketch up a bit and adding a few simple colors lol

On the topic of FCG potentially being reincarnated--it makes sense as an option the party might organically consider attempting, but, as we saw with Laudna's death (and even Percy's way back when), input from the player is a really operative aspect of whether a character will be resurrected. Marisha clearly did not want to let Laudna go, so they pursued a long road to bring her back. Alternatively, Taliesin was totally willing to let Percy go if he thought the ritual offerings wouldn't be enough (shoutout to Vex's nat 20 persuasion check for this one).

And Sam? Well, Sam, as a player, loves to fail. Because failing is interesting, usually far more interesting than succeeding. We're talking about a guy who openly derides luck points and fervently refused to use the halfling luck feature except in the ONE instance where succeeding the roll would have had a worse outcome than failing. Regardless of how I or anyone else feels about losing FCG and/or wanting them back, Sam does not strike me as the kind of player who would want to bring FCG back after going out like this, available reincarnation or not. I would both suspect and anticipate that this will be FCG's final showing, just based on what I know of Sam as a player

Wanna guess what super ambitious, totally useless, low research project my burnt out brain decided I finally wanted to start?

I’ve toyed with the idea of revisiting my historically inspired redesigns with proper backgrounds for a while now, but the task has always felt mountainous. Too bad you will never get anywhere if you don’t start climbing anyway, so here we are. Just in case you’re new around here I have done a whole bunch of historical, modern, fantastical, etc. sort of fashion illustrations or “redesigns”. This look is based on mid 1700s fashion for men and women however the off the shoulder roses and hair styling is only inspired by instead of accurate-accurate.
