After several days of surveilling my children, I have Opinions

Neanura growae, Florida Orange Springtails - I love them. They are so pudgy. They're also surprisingly bold? They're supposed to be soil-dwelling, but I see them wandering the surface of the moist side all the time. Also they keep showing up on the underside of the lid??? I have to assume they start walking up the vines and then just keep walking onto the ceiling. Lastly, it's hilarious to me that something that looks like this: - can be considered 'large', but next to the others they are bumbling behemoths.

Lepidocyrtus sp., Pearlescent Springtails - I love them also. "Pearlescent" doesn't do justice to just how shiny they are; it's like tiny drops of mercury are running around my terrarium. They are fast and industrious. For the first few days, they were obsessed with a black spiny fungus on one leaf; having exhausted that, they've now decided to all congregate on the seed pod. It's hilarious. They're having a convention.

Ceratophysella sp., Lilac Springtails - Guess what? Love them too. They're known for throwing yellow albinos, and I've already seen a few! They're the most secretive by far, not to mention the hardest to see, so most of my observations have been of the ones in the clay cup. They're weirdly gregarious? Despite having the equivalent of a few acres of clay to hang out in, they consistently choose to all try to wedge themselves into just one crevice.

Planted!

Psygmorchis pusila, Peperomia serpens, P. rotundifolia, P. emarginella, Selaginella diffusa, S. kraussiana, and a NOID Gesneriad from the general region. Next step is to be very patient and wait to see that everything is rooting and surviving. I'll be adding my springtails shortly (Neanura growae, non-native but cute) and later will put my Trinidad dwarf tarantula (Cyriocosmus elegans) in it.

Here is some actuall headcanons about Astrals (Also called Puffballs) Since my handwriting is trash, I'll write what it says and also add some missing info.

They have a round body with two hands and two legs

Childhood

Their eyes have a black base, white pupil, and a shade. The color of the shade differs for each individual.

Their blush is visible all the time. The color of it is usually a bit darker version of their body color.

They don't have fingers.

They don't have wings or horns yet. So when flying, they hover.

They can use many different copy abilities.

Teen and later on

Their eyes become single colored. The color of it is the same color as the eye shade color they had as a child. Their eyes also glow in the dark.

Their blush is not always visible. It becomes visible when they are feeling some emotions like shame, love, etc.

They get a thumb. Mostly, they will wear gloves after getting a thumb.

They grow wings around the age of 200 and after getting wings, they will use their wings to fly instead of hovering.

Their horn growa when they are nearly an adult, being near the age of 500.

As they grow, they choose one elemental and one physical copy ability to master. Mostly, they will stick to those two ability and lose the ability to copy other abilities.

Choosing an ability

As an Astral grows, they will master one elemental and one physical copy ability.

For example, Meta Knight chose "Sword" and "Tornado". We know the "Sword" part of Meta Knight. But for the "Tornado" part, his spin attacks like Tornado Slash and Mach Tornado are a combination of Sword and Tornado.

We see aged up coco n nutts and if they were adults in yes pre ... They wouldnt look the way they do in the show.When you see the comparioan pre and post time skip its obvious that this teen to adult. They grow likw three full heads taller. What eighteen year old growa that much taller..also we see a flashback of coco n nozomi at nozomis high achool n cocos wearing a high school uniform too and doesn't look out of place amongst the high schoolers...

Like otona kept it vaguer than ppl wouldve liked and i understand the teacher part is troubling and sets a bad example for kids and keeping it it otona is a problem. But saying that otona did nothing just isn't true. Also they stated that like for however many years its been since nozomi started college to now that coco hasnt visited her.

They're trying to fix mistakes they made...not unlike how tokyo mew mew new changed things. Making it love at first sight though yeah thats a change i fully disagree with because it makes it worse. And I understand the point theyre trying to make that bc coco n nozomi were fated loves that immediate love comes from tht....

Ok also the age and teacher stuff rlly has ppl not even touching the fairy stuff? She stuffed him into her backpack bc he was annoying. All of the fairies rely on the precure to help them get their kingdom back which puts all of the fairies in a tricky position. Like we know the precures rnt gonna let them down. But like its not a sure thing for the fairies.

Coco was technically her teacher for two years but theres so few classroom scenes in Go!Go! that its easy to forget he was a teacher.

My closing statement is that i understand if you feel like this is too morally dubious and that you disagree with it being in the show at all. And i know i sound like a scumbag going 'here me out' over a talking stuffed animal that turns into and an adult woman who met this stuffed animal when she was fourteen year old. But mostly im just tired of people trying to present shit without the full context. Bc it has ppl who havent watched the show come away with something that isn't true
