Still can't get over accidentally giving the voidship a Perfect Name on my heretic file. Had no ideas for a name for that thing in the character creator (too soon!! haven't even seen it!!! also doesn't even belong to the MC yet!!!!) so I just went for something low effort and based on my limited 40k knowledge, that there's a lot of Latin and it's fascism all the way down, tried to name it something buzzword-y fascists might be into. Which is how it wound up being Veritas. For what wound up being a heretic playthrough. When the cult is all about the "truth."

I don't know if you're still taking requests atm, but are there any rules or conditions that we should be aware of besides being Simpsons-related?

Hmm good question actually!

I'm still open to Simpsons character requests in general, and also of course very much welcome asks about my OCs, but as for limitations...

I'd just say to keep it simple enough (so avoid complex, specific scenarios or requests with a lot of characters interacting), and also to not send too many requests at once (it's overwhelming to me, and usually good etiquette to wait for the person to have finished the previous req before asking for more :] /lh)

Beyond that I trust people's good sense when it comes to not requesting things that could make a stranger uncomfy, but either way my asks and DMs are always open in case of any doubt!! ♥

@pilferingapples it is more egregious because all these articles written by Global North academics are talking about decolonising the field of bioethics, they're talking about importance of listening to and recognising research in healthcare from Global South and yet, how do you expect this to happen in the unequal system that persists in academia?? I can easily find articles about bioethics from US, UK, EU, Australia etc. There is dearth of information from Global South and the ones that are published are behind a paywall. The least, the extreme bare minimum these journals can do is make it open access, waive the fees. But, no! All their arguments are for their research papers. No one actually wants to do what they are so eager to publish. And that kinda sucks, imo.

video called "pirate shirt tutorial that actually makes sense" with a thumbnail clickbaitingly copying bernadette banner's style, which does the exact same thing as bernadette banner's video but more confusingly and without a diagram in the video itself, also failing to understand that bernadette banner's channel is primarily a history channel and not a sewing tutorial channel so telling people they don't have to hand-sew the pirate shirt or they don't have to thread-pull is unnecessary because bernadette banner literally said "do this however you want, i just do it this way because it's how i learn about historical dress practices" in her own video. couldn't ask for better youtube entertainment

UNSOLICITED CRITICISM; listen, fanfiction is completely self indulgent, especially mine. i appreciate my readers, and i am open to interacting w my readers, but before you send something to my inbox, ask urself: did i ask? the answer is, no. i don't want to hear about what you would have preferred to have read instead. i don't do unsolicited advice/criticism; i find it rude.
