Sooooooooooooooooooooo
Things I've learnt from my first watch of Ghostfuckers
1. The original babysitter mentioned for Loona, was not someone from IMP, and instead was an external source probably meaning that Blitz had friends at one point but messed up that relationship too
2. Blitz was a sex worker at one point, from the line "Millie, I spent too much of my time, energy and holes" (in reference to when they purchased the office). We know he was oblivious reference to Stolas, however previously in the flashback Millie also mentions how it assassination jobs were very easy to combine meaning that they're not paid a lot per job. And since they're not paid a lot per job and as Millie mentioned earlier "it's all about reputation" there is no way that Blitz could have afforded that office. So either he's talking abt Stolas and Stolas put money towards it in exchange for more sex, or Blitz did sex work on the side.
OR he could have been talking further past tense as in he may have needed a way to pay back his farther for the circus and for Fizz's hospital bills (considering this is all about the past) which is pretty fuck, an added to his insecurity over the relationship about Stolas
I would explain why you try to have so much sex with people because he's used to it
3. After running from Fizz, after the circus burnt down he did actually make it to where his mother was but wasn't able to save her either. Because twice in the episode does she burn away from there opposite side that he got the scar on meaning that he must have been facing his mother when she was burning away and there must have been some form of explosion or even larger fire. So he specifically got some of his scars from when he both left fizz and got to his mother. So the scars aren't all from the fireworks.
4. Millie left without the barn a plan, meaning either something must have happened within her family for her to leave or she simply was just a bad bitch. But either way Millie's dynamic with her family has definitely got rockier
5. Millie has self-esteem issues which maybe addressed in a later episode, because she doesn't see herself as anything but muscle and in the episode they did touch on that but it's clear when she said "are you done yet" to the 'ghost', that she acknowledges what she is and who she thinks she is but she just doesn't let it get under her skin until later
6. Millie and Moxxie met through Blitzo, meaning that Blitz got to see how their relationship developed and how he wasn't a part of it. So now we have some form of explanation of blitz's expectations when it comes to relationships because he watched the M&M go from strangers, to friends, to coworkers to lovers to married. And this would have further added to his insecurity regarding his relationship with Stolas, because he had a perfect example of what a relationship should be like and that's why he always says that him and Stolas were never in a relationship because his examples of relationship were M&M and (hells worst kept secret) Fizz and Ozzie.
7. Fish demons can possess people, that is one of them in demonic powers. And I'm going to assume because of the gender differences between imps that there are so gender differences between fish demons. And with that being said I believe female fish demons are the majority to have the ability to fly because they have bigger fins, and females are generally larger while the males can you use a swim faster and some have the demonic power to possess people.
This would fit with fish being from the envy ring and being able to possess people because if you envy someone you can just literally be that person by possessing them. And having bigger fins makes you the bigger person in the room making you more noticeable. Fish demons have a clear toxic trait ingrained into their physical body of needing to be the biggest and needing to be the best.
8. More than one prince or princess of a certain ring has the ability to Grant people the power to go to the human world, meaning that there's more than just an Asmodean Crystal getting people to the human world. This also means when Stolas, went to get one from Ozzie he went to specifically Ozzie because he was the most certain that he would be able to give him one because of his connections to fizz and because him and Stolas have actually met before that.
Meaning that Stolas didn't really meet any of the other Princes or princesses of Hell. So his family must have ties to something within the lust ring because why the hell would they meet otherwise?
9. Imp may shut down even if they get out of bankruptcy because their next hurdle is the Goetia, meaning that Ozzie and Bee are going to have to VOUCHHHHH for Stolas or there could actually be consequences the Blitz other than losing personal relationships. And this could also mean that if they get out of bankruptcy and Stolas loses but not as badly he could end up working for IMP, because throughout the entire show there has been a history of none of them being able to read, write or do math.
Stolas being the only person with a form of education would fit perfectly into this role while he recovers his royalty status.
10. Fizz probably doesn't know about the breakup because blitz has been in his office for a month and hasn't left meaning that blitz didn't tell Fizz. And that could mean one of two things. One, he's been ignoring Fizz. Or two Ozzie never mentioned that he had already given the crystal to Stolas, so it will be a shock when Fizz finds out that all of this has gone down and no one told him.
11. Blitz's closer to Millie then he is to Moxxie, despite Moxxie being his first employee. This is because physically Millie and blitz get along better, hence they are more alike. They both came from tight knit families that depended on them for income, they both with a problem children in their families (bc Millie supposedly runaway or left without too much consideration from her family), they both were taking advantage of by the upper class ( Blitzo more literally than Millie but still their), and they both had self-esteem issues.
12. The timeline for IMP is, Blitzo then Loona, then Moxxie, then Millie. Making it so that Blitz was much younger when he adopted Loona then other people expected him to be.
13. Fish demons can cause hallucinations/ they can become stronger and use different forms of magic that Imps cannot. Showing the little divide between Imps and the rest of the Demons because Imps do not have demonic powers while other demons do. So hybrids may get some traits from both sides but do not get magical powers. Meaning that Striker is more flexible and physically stronger because he's a hybrid but does not possess this same or similar abilities that his other half possesses.
So briefly hybrids cannot get demonic powers from that other half that we've seen.
14. Blitz is setting up his first boundary in a friendship/relationship by no longer wanting to have sex with Millie or Moxxie, meaning that he is learning something from having time away from Stolas, his character is developing and he's developing as a person. This could also have effects in the future as he may now struggle to activate the Crystal without any active "lust" going on.
So when they get pushed through the portal by Aldruphous, Blitz may be limited in his ability to teleport them away because as seen from the penguin short you need lust to activate the Crystal, and since he's stepping away from sexual relationships, he won't be about to activate it as easily.
So that episode may go, they get teleport to the court room, Aldruphous probably loses or doesn't get what he wants out of it, and Stolas' powers are limited because of court constraints (so he cant run away) and he teleports them to an isolated zone so he can let out all the anger and potentially kill them, and they are going to struggle to get away because he can activate the Crystal and Stolas is limited with his range or powers.

I want to know more about Asmodeus and his two extra faces. They always share the same expression as the main face but sometimes they "talk" at the same time as Ozz and sometimes they dont.

*SPOILERS FOR HELLUVA BOSS*
This actually makes me curious.
Except for Mammon, every Sin in the Hellaverse we got to see this far was subverting his role.
Ozzy (Asmodeus) specifically claims that Lust is about passion and that it shouldn't be forced (S2 EP6 Helluva Boss) and has a healthy and well-meaning relationship with his better half Fizzarolli.
Bee (Beelzebub) is concerned for Blitz's behavior because he shows a self-destructive behavior by drowns his problems in alcohol.
And here, we have Lucifer, Charlie's dad, the king of pride (as in "overselling yourself", not being proud of something you actually accomplished) realizing that him giving humanity free will made everything terrible (must not be the case, but that's a completely different conversation).
Now I really want to know about the other sins - Leviathan, Satan and Belphegor - and what their part of the story is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lucifer is probably ashamed for giving humans free will since all he sees is evil. Interesting for a sin of pride.

About TIME I did Verosika
I actually had been holding onto her for a while because of the human outfit but after a few Pinterest searches landed on the beachy-summer vibes. I might make a few tweaks in the future but who came out perfect was her demon design and fit omg ateee.
I will make a point to include a star in all her outfits because she’s a superstar aaaahh so clever anyways that’s all for now!

When the super problematic creator + their equally nasty project that’s stuffed with toxic messages, weird kinks and bad writing that you’ve been aware of for years finally starts getting open criticism on mass and you can finally voice your own frustrations and experiences without the fear of rampant harpy stans trying to hunt you for sport

Something is bothering me.
A lot of people have pointed out that Asmodeus couldn’t do much during the trial.
But that doesn’t make sense.
Why shouldn’t Asmodeus have a bigger say in the trial?
Yes, yes, I get that Wrath is the law but Asmodeus is the LEADER of the Ars Goetia, isn’t he?
If the trial involves one if them why is his opinion not given more weight?
And why does Andrealphus get to suggest a punishment for Stolas in his stead?!?!? What gives him the right to suggest he should upset the hierarchy and take over Stolas’ position when the King is sitting right there!!!!
How does the ranking system work here?!

I get why people didn't like the new helluva boss short, but if you say something like "well we didn't get anything new/insightful to the show! No new lore"
THEN YOU IS WRONG
We learnt that angelic protection/protection against demons IS purchasable in the human world implying alot of things. 1 being that a cherrub could bless an item to protect you if you've done a good deed but aren't dying OR angels can bless things and give them out, like how Versokia did with her concerts, just more ethical.
We learnt what attributes could/would be included in a sinner design and look when they get to hell, and he the way they died, what they were wearing, the obsession, personality and personal objects may affect their appearance. Giving hints to other sinner and what they could have been doing/what they looked like or their personality when they were alive.
Like Husk being the stereotype of a cat. And Niffy only having 1 eye, being a reference to how she lived, how she died or what she was like (maybe she was a on-track person in life. Never really compromising too largely or simply being a metaphor for not looking into situations more and being too naive or in this case blind to the truth)
Another thing we learnt is that Blitzo is VERY EASY to find, making the theory of the people he's killed coming back to kill him more believe and possible, as the girl from the short said that she saw his build-board. So he's definitely not hidding.
And finally, the fanfictions the girl wrote could either be foreshadowing of season 2's ending (I'd recommend Sarcastic Chorus video on it) OR it could yet again be a jab at people who look too deeply into things. Like what I'm doing now.
Being a hint that not everything should be taken seriously, and that people get so engrossed in their fanfic and theories that they actually believe it to be cannon, even when stated otherwise. Making their own interpretation only to be disappointed and made about it.
Like with the amazing digital circus and Jax thing. He was never going to be a "hot", appealing, false antagonist and re script was written for him WAY before his release so they didn't really change his character. The expectation of Jax being the main love interest got to people and many were disappointed when he came out to be EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID HE WOULD BE LIKE
So maybe a similar situation idk
Anyways lore dump over, how's your day beautiful?

"because its hell" doesn't hold up.
When you create a setting from scratch, you have total control over it. You get to make the rules. You can't excuse a flaw in writing or presentation with "it is hell, it has to be this way!"
Here is one paraphrased example from Hazbin Hotel I've heard recently in response to a critique of calling the main characters too reliant on pinks/reds:
"All the characters have red in their color schemes because they are from the Pride ring and the rings are color coordinated."
While this gives an in-character/in-lore explanation for the color schemes, what it doesn't do is change the fact Hazbin Hotel's characters having a hard time standing out from the background. An in-character/in-lore justification should NOT be prioritized over the overall quality of a project.
As a writer, you have control over the constraints of your story. If you write yourself into a corner, you can't just throw up your hands and give up. You have to be willing to rework your lore and stories to make them stronger.
If excessive cursing is grating and making certain moments within your story less impactful, you should reel it in because it makes the presentation stronger. If your color based lore is causing the visuals of your project to suffer, it is time to reassess the lore.
Just because something is logically consistent within a world, doesn't make it a good writing/art choice.
A setting's rules should serve stories and characters, not the other way around.

Yesterday I've posted my list of "It's Hell" moments that should be included in Hellaverse dumpster fire of worldbuilding to make it work. And today it hit me:
Why do demons need to eat and sleep?
I mean, if that was lower demons' needs, I would possibly buy it. BUT NO! Stolass and Stella do this too!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHY?! Does that mean they could starve or be exhausted by insomnia? And probably DIE from it?! But they're immortal demons with enormous magical powers!.. How is this supposed to work?!
Somebody might object, "But the gems from 'Steven Universe' eat and sleep as well, even though they don't need to!" Yeah, that's true, but! Firstly, this was directly acknowledged right in the series. Secondary, as I can remember, there are no Homeworld gems who do those things, only the Crystal Gems do. And they've been living among humans during thousands of years, Earth is their home so basically they adapted to it. And even then, each of them has their own attitude toward "human rituals": Amethyst enjoys it, Pearl doesn't like in the slightest, Garnet's kinda okay with it. Isn't that fascinating how such a small lore detail gives personality to every character?
And what about HB? Well, demons eat and sleep because... because they do! That's all!

I’m convinced we’ve been getting lore hints about imp horns, but I’m not sure what exactly they’re leading up to…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Imps DON’T touch each other’s horns, not even during combat (at least, not that we’ve seen “on camera”). The only exception I’ve found is Crimson, and that’s likely only after he’s already offed them.
The only instances I’ve seen where someone DOES touch an imp’s horns is indirectly. And both times they were presented in a negative context.
Now, this isn’t me trying to bash Stolas bringing this up (Season 1 Stolas is a completely different personality to Season 2 Stolas, after all), but Stolas putting out his cigarette on Blitzø’s horn was a pretty demeaning action. As further evidenced by Stolas immediately following up by baby talking at Blitzø while simultaneously pinching his cheek. Blitzø obviously doesn’t enjoy the treatment, but he doesn’t exactly say anything either, even with him pushing Stolas away. So it’s hard to say if some unspoken boundary was crossed with the indirect contact with his horn, or if he was aggravated at the perceived condescension.
Then, there’s that entire scene with Rolando forcing Blitzø to relive the worst moments of his life. From start to finish, Blitzø is distressed and highly uncomfortable. Making it really interesting that in the midst of this “show”, Rolando adds chains to Blitzø’s horns. Making it even harder for Blitzø to look away and adding even more to his distress. Again, hard to say if Blitzø’s distress is due to his horns being chained or to the whole situation in general.
Though circumstantial at best, it can’t just be a coincidence that both times an imp’s horns were touched on camera were by non-imp beings, and both instances happened to Blitzø in particular.
Then there’s the whole medical aspect to take into consideration with Fizz. After the accident, Fizz’s horns were destroyed along with most of the rest of his body. But unlike the prosthetics for his arms and legs, Fizz doesn’t do anything for his horns. No horn prosthetics or plaster or anything! They don’t even file down the jagged edges to help prevent further damage or to keep them from catching on things from day-to-day life.
There’s more to imp horns than we know. Fizz’s unwillingness (inability?) to do anything more than hide his horns has to hint at something. That scene dedicated specifically to showing Fizz’s horns immediately after the fireworks exploded definitely was implying something. That dying red light on Fizz’s horns has some horrifying implications. Especially with the cracked edges being blackened (dead?) in the midseason special.
Lastly, there’s Sallie May. I won’t speculate too much here because we haven’t exactly seen what her story is, and I don’t want to make assumptions about her or her perceptions of self. Especially when she hasn’t gotten to show up as much yet.
The short of it is, she doesn’t paint her horns. But she does paint her hair. Or at least puts splotches of white paint in her hair to give the perception that her horns are painted. And that’s the extent of it.
So to reiterate, imps don’t seem to touch their own or each others’ horns. Except for in negative contexts or purposes. Horns can’t be changed medically or cosmetically. And they possibly have more feeling in them than we originally thought…
I just KNOW this has to be leading into something in the future. I just don’t know WHAT!
I need to know more
[Edited: I was wrong about Sallie May’s hair color being an indicator of her purposefully not coloring her horns. But I’m keeping the bit in to help people understand my thought process]

In middle school I had a classmate reading a book at her desk beside me. I looked over her shoulder and started reading the page I could see. It was about a girl fighting off a vampire attacker. He threw her into a wall of mirrors and it was such a dark, bloody image in my head that it instantly hooked me. I tapped her shoulder and asked what book it was.
It was Twilight.
Everyone and their mothers know Twilight from the hysteria that dominated social consciousness in the 2000s, so I don't have to explain why that's a bit of a joke. I was baited for a gorey vampiric horror story and was shook to my core that it was a horrible, melodramatic romance.
Except I was a genuine fan of Twilight.
As a pre-teen with a wide interest in genre, I wasn't so overly critical as to complain that the story was a romance and not a horror. I took up the book and was obsessed. I would stay up too late reading "just one more chapter" and was very emotionally invested in the story. I remember becoming quite emotional reading Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
And then once I closed the final book of the series, it was like I just ran into a wall.
"That sucked."
It was an instantaneous feeling, very similar to a slap in the face. Once I had the whole story, I immediately reflected on everything I had read up to that point and how it all fit together, only to realize this was a whole lot of nothing. I had been so thoroughly invested in the immediate happenings of the narrative that I had been crying over Bella preparing to send her kid off with Jacob not 20 minutes prior, only to now see that scene for how impotent it truly was.
It was my first experience with a disappointing narrative. The romance wasn't even done all that well, but Meyers had some genuinely compelling imagery in her writing. Specifically in the more intense and violent sections. But the romance itself was a bunch of contrivances. So when the core of the characters and story is hollow and not motivated by compelling reasons, even the moments of good writing fade in luster.
But I never noticed it until after I finished the entire series.
Anyway, I shared this as a brief PSA to please let fans enjoy themselves. Eventually they will realize it wasn't that good, and even if they don't what harm is there in just letting them enjoy the show as a show. It's reasonable to be contrarian to dogma and statements being asserted about the story and it's message that you feel are dangerous.
But a post about how much someone likes a character or even a scene has no reason to be torn down. Be happy that they are happy and share something positive if you can, otherwise, just keep scrolling. If you need to break someone else's source of happiness, that's a reflection on you.

OKAY! So I think we're going to have to disregard a few of my previous statements/theorizing on Satan.
Though now ALL of the Sins being fallen angels just like Luci is feeling VERY likely XD
