Support Our Dream Dog Sport Facility

Dog Lovers Unite! Help us keep the dream alive!!! We are at risk of losing a property we fought so hard for!! We have out grown our current facility- in my back yard! It has been awesome being able to help so many dogs and their owners, but we need more room! In 2021 I found the perfect property, only 1 mile from our current facility. We raised $18,000 to get the down payment and we have been building the dream! It took 2 years of fighting the county, all the way to the county supervisors office to secure all the permits we needed, but WE WON~~~~!!! Today is a very emotional day for us, as after 6 years and before he went to a kill shelter for a third time, we found a home for the cutest dog in our shelter.

He was old and blind but full of love, so finally he got what he deserved, a home and a family!

Voice for street dogs

As per Indian law, street dogs cannot be beaten, killed or driven away or displaced or dislocated, they can only be sterilized in the manner envisaged in the The Animal Birth Control (Dogs) Rules, 2001 enacted under the Indian Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 (A Central Act), vaccinated, and then returned back.Generally it js against the law if we beat or try to dislocate the street dogs from there birth places . While Section 428 provides for maximum of two-year jail term for killing or maiming animal of the value of Rs 10, the punishment is up to a five-year jail term if such offence is committed against animals of Rs 50 or more.The right given by the government to Community dogs (stray/street dogs) have the right to food and citizens have the right to feed community dogs but in exercising this right, care and caution should be taken to ensure that it does not impinge upon the rights of others or cause any harm, hindrance, harassment and nuisance to other individuals or members .

Street dogs may be stray dogs, pets which have strayed from or are abandoned by their owners, or may be feral animals that have never been owned. Street dogs may be stray purebreds, true mixed-breed dogs, or unbreed landraces such as dog. To all the people who write them self animal lover in social media and kill the animals and beat them in real life should be awake and start to love animals . this is the time to wake up and stop people from killing animals

Yes, I sound like a killjoy. But it is dangerous for the animals. The animals are too stressed out. They destroy things. They ingest things that they would never ingest in a comfortable environment. Tennis balls get chewed and swallowed and then obstruct their digestive tracks. Most times city will not do surgeries on dogs that require something to be medically taken out. A rope toy that’s ingested could be a $10,000 surgery. Tennis balls go down the drains and cause the pipes to back up. The back up causes flooding and bacteria to grow. Maintenance workers who don’t get here very often are forced to work on that all day and are not able to spend time fixing gates and locks. It is unhealthy for the dogs. Stuffed animals get shredded. Ingested. They clog the drains as well. We need to keep the dogs healthy. If you feel sorry for them… Volunteer. Foster. Adopt. Network. Also do not feed them treats. Their diets are very strict. To keep them healthy. If a dog has an allergy or had diarrhea from something someone feeds them there’s no way for us to track it if they’re getting random foods. There’s no way to possibly correct it if we don’t know what they’re ingesting. Slso, sticking your hand through the gate of a dog kennel is equivalent to you seeing someone stick their hand through your living room window. You might find acceptable most days, but one day it just might piss you off. Don’t stick things in dog kennels. Or any kennels. You wouldn’t do it at the zoo. You wouldn’t want people to stick things through your window of your house… Protect the animals. Almost two months ago a vet misdiagnosed me with panosteitis and I was treated for this. Meanwhile an infection was damaging my leg and hip. Only yesterday my parents found out about it, but now there is much more hope than before. Luckily there is a surgeon that will help me. First I need to get CT scan and other examinations, then after few months of recovery from infection, I can get hip surgery. The surgery is really expensive but will help me have a normal life.
