If Hera were to have a child, all of Camp Half-Blood would realistically be turned on their heads, but with that said, how would Camp react if Artemis or Hestia were revealed to have a child (daughter in Artemis' case, as there is NO WAY that Artemis would ever have a son, if she did ever have a child)?
A/n: I’m going to preface that Artemis and Hestia are still virgin goddesses so you’re all going to get an unusual birth version, so we’re going with something similar to how Athena’s children are born. The child of Artemis will be referred with She/Her pronouns, but the child of Hestia will be referred with they/them because I don't think Hestia would aim for a specific gender.
No one knows how this is happening but when everyone learns of their existence as they step into Camp Half Blood, everyone thinks the world is going to end. Sure, everyone eventually learned how the children of Arthena were born and took some time to wrap their minds around it, but in the end they accepted it as natural.
But when the other two virgin goddesses have their own demigods, you can imagine the chaos. It’s only tampered with the fact that Hestia has been known to be good towards children and Artemis being the goddess of Childbirth, it’s not that unexpected.
No one knows for sure how the daughter of Artemis came to be, who confirms you were born from the wilderness and that Artemis is still very much a virgin goddess; any further questions were met with the threat of a silver tipped arrow.
The child of Hestia comes forward and enlights everyone how they came to be. They gather everyone around the fire as they tell them how Hestia took the ashes from the Hearth, and mixed with the clay of which how humans came to be. She moulded the clay and ash with the worn hands that leaked ichor from small cuts of hardworking hands, and with the hands of a gentle caregivers, she sculpted the clay and ash into small shape of a babe. With that, sat by the fire of the hearth that warmed their skin with the fires of life that helped humanity, Hestia pressed her lips to the forehead bestowing the babe life. Everyone looks at the child of Hestia with awe and wonder, seeing the warmth you radiate and how much they seem like Hestia. Quite literally warming up to you as you make around camp with the virtues of Hestia. People get often confused between the child of Hestia and Hestia herself, as she often portrays herself around camp as a girl.
The daughter of Artemis takes some time getting used to but it gets easier when they learn that the daughter of Artemis is only at Camp during the summer to learn alongside other demigods, before taking part in the hunts every other seasons with the huntress and her mother.
The children of Apollo become the first campers to welcome the daughter of Artemis, not because they made the first move and they were their other opposite; it's because Apollo welcomed them and acted every bit as the annoying and affectionate uncle as he is towards his twin sister. When She shows up for the rounds at the medical ward with the children of Apollo, everyone gets used to her very quickly, getting over the fact she’s a daughter of Artemis, she’s just like them. After the Apollo cabin, the Demeter cabin, the Hecate cabin, and the Athena cabin are the ones who you are close to. Overtime, she opens up about herself bit by bit like the waning and waxing moons before she opens up like a full bright full moon, allowing everyone to see how she is, and think although faraway and maybe cold, she is pretty and she is nice.
Overall, I think the campers will take some time to get used to the children of Hestia and Artemis. Some will come around to the thought of it and some might be disturbed by it, but with everything going on in their lives as demigods, this isn’t the worst or weirdest thing to happen. Putting aside the looming possibility of a quest or prophecy that might relate to them, but at this point, a world threatening prophecy is just another Tuesday.
Eventually, the two will become another part of Camp.

child of urania here! i'm a rogue demigod but i wanted to know how the urania cabin looks like!
Urania! Ooo, hoo, hoooo! That's an interesting one! You don't meet too many children of the muses! I guess that makes us cousins!
Anyways, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we don't actually have any finished cabins for the muses yet. I currently am staying in the Hermes cabin, but Lady Hestia has offered her cabin as an additional place for unclaimed kids or children whose parent hasn't gotten a cabin quite yet. I might end up moving there for a little bit!
Good news, though! Five of the nine muses' cabins are already under construction. I helped oversee some of the plans, along with Jason and Annabeth. Urania's is one of them, and it's definitely going to be cool!
Based on the designs I’ve seen, there’s going to be lots of really cool astronomy stuff!
The ceiling will be like a planetarium, with all the visible stars being projected in real time. And then you’ll be able to control it like a real planetarium, too! There’s going to be a lot of really nice shades of black and blue, with gold accents. It’s going to be really pretty! I’ll see if I can get a photo of the plans. Also, Leo’s building an astrolabe unique to your cabin!
And then, once it’s complete, I’ll formally invite you to come to camp! And you won’t have to stay all the time, but I think you would really enjoy it.
Hope to see you soon! Construction should be complete in a few weeks to about a month!

Also, what is Hestia's roll if any that she has?
-OverAnalyzer
HESTIA
APPEARANCE:
Hestia presents as an adult, and she is a virgin goddess. She is always dressed modestly, and her eyes glow warmly with the fire of her hearth. She always carries a bowl for her flame, and her fire can glow in every color imaginable, depending on her feelings.
CHAMPION:
Her champion is chosen for who will hold up the sense of family amongst their own and others the best. One who is loyal to whatever family they chose, and who will keep Hestia’s hearth always burning, will be her champion. They are given some of her divine powers, and can call on her during their times of need. They can also talk to Hestia in their dreams. They are allowed to stay in the cabin of their godly parent, though if they chose to, they could stay in Hestia’s cabin.
FIRE OF LIFE:
Hestia, rarely, can imbue a creature, mortal, or demigod with a blessing to revive them back to life if they were to die. This is called the “fire of life,” and it is a rare occurrence where Hestia witnesses something she cares deeply for die.
Many do not get this chance, but those that do are able to be revived and continue living. This only gets them back to life, and does not make them invincible. If they have some kind of curse, like the Curse of Achilles or some other dangerous curse to them, the curse will burn away and they will be free from it. They won’t have any other powers, but their skin will receive a faint glow, and they will always run warm.
CABIN:
Her cabin is made out of terracotta clay and wood, and is welcoming. Two small hearths burn outside the cabin, and paintings of comforting fire and light cover the outside of the cabin. On one side, hand-prints are painted in a burst of warm colors, as a mark from every new demigod who has come to Camp after the Second Titanomachy.
The inside, while a bit crowded from the amount of beds, is also quite warm and homely. A table sits in the middle of the cabin for campers to come around to talk or relax, and in the basement, there are a couple more beds, but also an underground kitchen for when the demigods staying with her need a bite to eat outside of the dining pavilion. It has also been reinforced with Celestial bronze bars to prevent further damage. Inside, it always smells similar to the demigods own home, or their favorite smell that reminds them of home.
The original cabin was destroyed by the Titan Army during the Second Titanomachy, which summoned Hestia to the fight in the first place. The old cabin was much more cramped and wrecked due to the amount of demigods who were almost constantly coming in and out of its walls. Now, the space is much more taken care of, so the demigods that stay there can live happier, healthier lives.
CABIN CULTURE:
The cabin counselor can be any demigod from any godly parent, though it generally takes the form of her champion. They are in charge of keeping track of the demigods that come into and leave the cabin, and for keeping the general peace of it for those who live there.
Before the new pact was made, the demigods who came through the cabin had little hope of being claimed. Many of them stayed there for years on end, growing more jaded to the hope of their parent’s attention. The ones who stayed there year-round grew especially frustrated, and this would lead to the cabin almost never being quiet. There was almost constant tension and conflict from many unhappy demigods, and factions within the group would form.
The cabin was viewed negatively by other demigods, with a fair amount of bullying coming from claimed demigods. These would sometimes put unclaimed demigods in especially demeaning positions, and they would be seen as lesser or even signs of bad luck by others.
Many unclaimed demigods from this cabin joined the Titan Army due to the resentment built up, and this anger led to them either forming incredibly tight-knit bonds with each other, or taking many attempts to destroy each other. These different conflicts led to the cabin being burnt down, injuring and even killing some of the demigods who stayed there. This tragedy is still felt today in the new cabin, where the demigods who were lost in the conflict who had never been claimed have their pictures up in memorial.
Now, the air in the cabin is much easier. Because of the new claiming system, demigods only have to stay in the cabin for a few months at a time as they wait for their new cabins to be built. It is also where visiting demigods and clear-sighted mortals can stay. This energy of familiarity brings a more comforting atmosphere to the cabin, and they are able to stay there as long as they like, even when their cabins are finished.
A sense of family can be felt there, especially from demigods who get to know each other during their shared stay in the cabin. This sense of family can last for lifetimes.
SOME POTENTIAL POWERS:
Pyrokinesis
Immunity to freezing/frostbite
Zoolingualism with swine
Enhanced sense of smell
Proficiency in cooking/baking/brewing
Enhanced healing speed around family
Enhanced strength, stamina, and speed when fighting in their home/estate
Reblog or @/ this blog if this inspires you to make your own champion of Hestia, or to do anything with your OC and this version of Hestia! Thank you "OverAnalyzer" and @themythicalgeek for the request!

Hadcanon, - Hestia's children have their own personal flamethrower in case of the appearance of particularly amorous, clingy and who don't understand rejection children of Apollo/Poseidon.
That could be funny to see. Children of Hestia have a flame thrower for creeps could be fun. You know you can also send me a message about these things.

I saw this video on Tik Tok earlier about a child of Hestia headcanon, and it made me think about how if Hestia had a cabin at the start of the Percy Jackson series, I would like to think that's where the unclaimed kids would go. Because think about it, it's really sad that Hermes gets all the unclaimed kids on the basis that he is the god of travelers, meaning this is only meant to be temporary, the camper is passing through until they get claimed. Which may be true for some, but as we know, is not the case for a lot of demigods. Their temporary home is the only one they've ever known. Meanwhile Hestia is the goddess of Home. Even if she doesn't create demigod children of her own like Athena does, that would inhabit it, I feel like her cabin would have been a home to all. The most welcoming place in camp. It may only be temporary, it may not, but it is a home.

PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS [BONUS!]
🔥 HESTIA: Goddess of the Hearth 🏠
author's note: I had a sudden idea about writing some headcanons Camp Halfblood demigods being claimed and what it's like for each respective god and cabin, followed by a small blurb afterwards. Thank you for reading and please like and reblog! The order is not in order of the cabin numbers. [PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS MASTERLIST]
Alright bear with me on this take: The fact that Hades gets a cabin finally. Hera doesn’t have any demigod children yet still has a cabin because of propriety and based on principle, which makes her cabin essentially a temple, so why not the same for Hestia?  While Hestia may not have a need for a cabin or anything, but if the rest of the major gods have a structure, it might've felt uneasy for everyone that Hestia is the only one left that doesn't have one. So they erect one on the fact unless Hestia herself explicitly says she doesn't want one.
Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth and every offering/sacrifice offered to the gods, a bit of it always goes to her too. She also presides over the home and community.
Although this is mainly connected with h er Roman counterpart, Vesta, she has something similar to Artemis’ hunters but less aggressive and non-violent, called “The Vestal Virgins” who tend to the sacred fire in the Temple of Vesta. Essentially, you’re priestesses of Hestia.
Any demigod, mortal who can see through the mist, or what have you, are allowed to become as Hestia’s priestesses, who follow the same oath of maidenhood, swearing off romance, and etc. It's not uncommon to have mortals who were sisters or cousins, to either to the mortal parent of the demigod, or the demigod themselves, enter as Hestia's priestess.
You help maintain the sacrificial fire that is set up at the campfire, at the dining hall, and later the one in the Hestia’s cabin/temple.
It’s pretty straightforward. You do your duties that fall underneath Hestia’s domain, helping out with also maintaining the camp along with the Nymphs. Doing what you can for the community.
Children and those entering the household were blessed by Hestia, around the fire, showering them in nuts and figs. This also applies to any children entering camp at a young age or any staff members employed into Camp Half-blood.
You help bless any new babies that are born in Camp Half-blood, or rarely brought forward by former camp members. Oftentimes, the babies are baby satyrs and you work together with the children of Hebe who help take care of them as a daycare situation.
On a sombre note: you also are in charge with the funerals, with helping prepare the funeral pyres, and each shroud. You put out the fire at their deaths and rekindle it once more.
Your place is also the place to be for cooking and baking. Hestia’s domain is the hearth, which was also used to cook, so the kitchen is also her domain. This leads to so much baked and cooked food, that is separate from the mountain of food cooked for the dining pavilion. You often then not have a never ending line of people asking for some goodies. Hey, all growing heroes need to eat!
You also have to fend and cap off the satyrs. Your kitchenware are not safe.
The Winter Solstices, Christmas, Harvest festival, Thanksgiving, all those kinds of days are your ALL HANDS ON DECK moments. So much food. So much preparation and decoration to do! You often employ other camp members to help out with the events from the cooking to decoration. Their payment? Little sneaky treats.
You wondered before how the sacrificial fire was maintained and taken care of before you all came to be. Sure it was technically magical/spiritual fire and a portion of it could’ve been taken from Mount Olympus long ago to Camp Half-blood, but still-
Then you see a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes helping tend to the fire. You weren’t sure but you all worked together with her until one day, you saw her eyes light up with fire.
You breathed in the smoke and heat of the crackling blazer. The fire was high and roaring yet despite the dangers of it, you weren’t afraid of getting burnt. Perhaps it is because you’ve been tending to the fire for a while now, so you were sure how close was too close. Or was it because you had a feeling this was Hestia’s fire and knew you wouldn’t be harmed by it as you serve in her name and domain.
You had just finished up helping with the food rotation, and you were on baking duty. You and your other fellow members worked alongside the nymphs and dryads,  The table was laden out with food for the incoming hungry campers, and the sneaky hands of Satyrs.
You poured the oil into the blazer and the fires roared even higher. You watch the embers fly up into the darkening sky filled with the sunset hues.
“A wonderful fire” you heard as you turned. You saw the little girl with brown hair, and brown eyes right beside you , and you almost jumped into the fire. You weren’t afraid of getting burnt but surely jumping into the blazer would still be a big no-no.
The girl giggled as you placed a hand on your beating heart. “Um…yeah, yes, the fire is wonderful” you stammered out a reply.
The girl smiled at you and gestured to you to come closer. You did and she reached into her robe to pull out a treat. Your favourite treat. Your mouth watered and it smelled just right.
“For you. Wonderful work (y/n), I hope you continue to warm others with our hearth” she said as you took the treat. You looked her in the eye and her brown eyes lit with fire. You widen your eyes, your body stiffening as you realise who you were talking to.
Hestia gave you one last, warm smile, before she disappeared into embers.

Watching the new PJO show
Personal opinion (spawned by walking into the Hermes cabin)
They should have made a cabin for Hestia to put all the unclaimed kids
You know she would have loved it
Then Hermes' cabin wouldn't be overcrowded

throw back to that random ‘Hestia cabin’ post i made forever ago, but:
they are camp mom. it doesn’t matter who they are or what they identify, they are camp mom. they aren’t given the breathing room to be the fun dad that just making them disappointed is enough to get you to call down, or the dad that can shout a measly ‘shut up’ from the other room, and it works.
no, they are the emotional support, they are mediators, referees, the shoulder to cry on, the villain that grounds you and takes your phone. they will air out all your shit. they all have eldest daughter syndrome.
they are also so gentle and understanding when you need them to listen. they will go through the entire camp to figure out who started that rumor about you and then deal with it. they’ll sneak dessert from the kitchens when they noticed you had a bad day. they can read a room like no one’s business.
hestia’s children are so much more than ‘family’. they are all the little building bricks that make or break a family. they are all the little things you hate in your parents and all the things that would destroy you if you no longer experienced it with your own parents.
they are the ones that campers immediately look to when advice is needed or an argument starts. they are the ones chiron and mr. d go to when they can’t help the campers with whatever the current problem or drama is.
these are the kids that collect younger campers like ducklings. they make the younger kids feel seen and heard and wanted and understood. like maybe people don’t always hurt and don’t always yell or gaslight or manipulate.
they are the backbone of this camp and you can see a difference when there aren’t any Hestia children on grounds. arguments happen more often, grudges hold for longer, there are more petty injuries during capture the flag, etc.
camp would eventually burn if lady Hestia didn’t send on at least every few decades.

so i think that the apollo cabin has a very 'extravagant maximalist aunt with tons of their nice/nephew's art in their house' mixed with 'art kid neice/nephew of said aunt who is failing school' vibe to the whole cabin, both in attatude and decor. (the art is from Rachel Dare i think)
like they have gold plated/solid gold with raggity and patched cushions coutches and chairs, those rugs made from scraps of fabiric (probs also scraps of canvas, thanks to Rachel again), mobiles with cristal suns and little painted suns and stars all around the cabin, on the stairs, on the walls, on those little strips of wood between the wall and floor, ect.
now don't get me wrong, the other cabins %100 also have this vibe, the 'failing school + extravigant and obviosly daddy's money' going on, becasue of a mix with the gods' kids just wanting a break and the gods with all their grandure and stuff. Just i think with apollo's before and after (Apollo and 'Lester') that would be a bit more pronounced (?) because he was obviosly one of the most arrogent gods, and got humbled so much that now I bet he's more on hestia's level as in arrogance and gradgure so he had more of a wet cat vibe going on.
