The SUN GOD turned mortal,without much powers,for an indefinite period? The oracles got captured and there is a sentient one,calling you and attracting you in very dangerous places? Emperors of a forgotten past are back because they want to be gods? Having memory problems because your mortal brain can't remember almost anything? Doing a run in the Labyrinth without knowing where you are going (and isn't safe)?? Ending in the worst place you could ever end,with your enemy(ies) close to you? Having your children being kidnapped from you and almost put on fire in front of you? Being tormented by the thought of dryads,only to watch how they sacrifice themselves to help you out?

Half of this is like the start of an apocalypse.

Calyssa finds it almost amusing how Vere almost can appear quite tender in his actions. But that makes her feel used, since everyone knows Vere works at the brothels. So acting is his forte, and unlike her, who's never been intimate with anyone, frustrates her as much as she craves it.

To her even holding hands and small gestures means a lot to her, a hopeless romantic deep down, but here she is, with someone who's so used to physical touch it's not something special to him.

She's constantly analysing his actions, despite her better judgement. Does he do it because he uses her? Until he gets bored? Genuine interest? Hard to tell.

Okay but why does picturing Shawn Spencer with a daughter whose mother passed away and is raising her with uncle Gus and Papa Henry make me super emotional.

Especially if the little girls other grandparents on her mother's side were a little upset about not being considered for full guardianship.

Imagine Carlton and Juliet finding out about his kiddo when they run into Shawn and Charlotte out for smoothies with Gus.

Juliet asks if this is a niece and bends down to her level to give Charlotte a little wave while Lassiter is silently cataloging all the similar facial features between Shawn and the little girl who is now hiding behind Shawn's legs.

Im back on my bullshit soap box again but-

I think we only have this big of a problem of the massive disconnect between fanon and canon in Danny Phantom because we actively discourage people from wanting to watch the show.

And I can't even blame people...we like to talk a lot about the problems the show has (racism, sexism, fumbled writing, missed opportunities, a show with inconsistent worldbuilding, Butch Hartman-) but in turn I think it turns people away from ever getting into it.

If they already know they like the fan content, and they hear the real show has all of these problems, why should they waste their energy investing in something they were told they wouldn't like?
