Would you do a request for Hokusai Masaki where one of his brothers accidentally lets it slip that he’s in love with the reader?

Summary: Hokusai is completely in love with you, and while the rest of AKYR can see it, they don't think you can. So they tell him that actions speak louder than words.

Hokusai is definitely a man of few words. Everyone in Akanyatsura can attest to that. But they also knew that his actions spoke louder than words. And of course, it was no secret to them when he started seeing you more often, that he was infatuated with you. He was always helping you with your chores and hanging out with you, indulging your every whim. And it was so painfully obvious to his Akanyatsura brothers, that some were getting annoyed with his behavior.

"You're going out with them again?" Reo whined as he flopped dramatically onto the table in their living space.

Hokusai nodded. "They asked me to visit. I won't be gone long."

"You say that every time." Satsuki pouted. "And yet you stay out for hours on end with them."

"It's like we don't even exist to you anymore!" Reo cried and wiped fake tears from his eyes.

Hokusai simply watched his brothers, slightly confused. He didn't think he spent that much time with you. Sure, he has been seeing you more often, but that was because you both wanted to. And he was still for Akanyatsura when Iori needed him. He definitely was not shirking his responsibilities. So he had no idea why they were acting like this.

Iori hummed to himself. "Well, I think it's sweet. I think it's about time this family expanded."

"What are you talking about?!" Zen sputtered, which in turn made Iori chuckle.

"I'm simply saying another member of the group would be just fine to me. I'm not implying I would replace any of you; believe me, you're all irreplaceable, but one more person in this family is just what we need I think."

Zen let out a sigh. "I see. Forgive me for jumping to conclusions."

"You need to get your mind out of the gutter, my friend." Iori grinned as Zen blushed.

"But that all depends on if Hokusai actually invites them to join our family!" Reo stated as a matter of fact. "And we all know he won't do that!"

Hokusai tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"It's obvious!" Satsuki replied. "You're not very good with words, least of all when they're supposed to be romantic. We all know the two of you are going to be dancing around your feelings for ages. And the rest of us are going to have to suffer because of your pining."

"I don't make you suffer." He shot back. "And I don't need words to be romantic. You know actions speak louder than words."

"But are they receiving the message you are trying to convey through your actions?" Zen asked, then held his hands up in surrender. "I mean no offense, but sometimes people aren't perceptive to action and need to be told."

Hokusai thought for a moment before he shrugged. "I hope so. But if they weren't, I wouldn't even know what to say to tell them my feelings."

Iori shook his head. "We can't help you with that. Those words need to come from you and your heart. You can do this, I know you can."

He slowly nodded. "Alright. I'll try."

Smiling and nodding, Iori shooed him out the door. "Now go! They're waiting for you!"

Again, Hokusai nodded before leaving the Akanyatsura house. It didn't take him long to get to the park right outside of your apartment building. You both loved hanging out there, whether it was by walking around the pond together, climbing the trees, or finding stray cats to play with. But he knew as he sat on your favorite bench that today would be different. He was going to try and tell you just how much you meant to him and how much he cared about you. He just needed to find the right words.

"You look lost in thought." Your soft voice lightly teased him. "What's on your mind, Hokusai?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. How are you?"

"I'm fine." You nod. "Better now that you're here."

He smiled. "That's good to hear."

You sat next to him, your shoulder barely brushing his. He was thankful you enjoyed just sitting in silence with him. With you there was no pressure to speak. He could just sit there and enjoy the day with you next to him. Perhaps this was how he confessed to you. Not with his words, but with his actions.

"Wow, this is more boring than I thought it was going to be." A whisper catches his attention. Hokusai glances at you, but you don't seem to have noticed the whisper.

"Well, it is Hokusai we're talking about." If he didn't know any better, he'd say that sounded like Satsuki...

Casually looking around, Hokusai finally noticed Satsuki and Reo failing to hide behind a tree. He glared at them, but that didn't stop them from staring and teasing the two of you. He thought he would be left alone with you. But apparently he thought wrong. He just hoped Iori didn't ask them to come spy on him like an overprotective older brother.

Due to his focus being on the two younger members of Akanyatsura, he didn't notice you at all. And how your focus had shifted to him and the boys hiding behind the tree. He didn't notice you hiding a chuckle behind your hand.

"You think he forgot what he told Aniki earlier?" Satsuki loudly whispered to Reo. "That he said he was going to confess to them?"

Reo shook his head. "Maybe he did. He's obviously not going to make a move. He would have done it by now."

"Yeah, he's had more than enough time now to tell them how much he loves them!"

Hokusai grit his teeth. If he wasn't worried about making a scene in front of you, he would totally beat the two of them up right now. But when you tapped on his shoulder stopped him from getting up and having a little "chat" with his younger AKYR brothers.

"Are you alright?" You ask, with a sweet smile on your lips.

He hesitates before nodding. "I'm okay."

Your smile widens as you shake your head. "No, you're not. I can tell you're not. Those boys over there are giving you a hard time, aren't they?"

Again he nods.

"Thought so. And if I didn't know any better, it almost sounded like they said something about you being in love with me?" Your smile was teasing and Hokusai could feel his cheeks turn red at your words.

"I- maybe. I mean, yes, I do." He mumbled.

Your smile only continued to widen. "Well, that's good to know. But it's crazy of them to think we weren't already dating. I mean, we've been together for a couple months now, at least!"

"W-we have?"

You nod. "The way you've acted around me proves how much you care about me and how much you want to be around me. You've more than proven yourself to be a worthy boyfriend. So you don't need to come up with some elaborate confession plan. I'm already yours."

He felt the tension in his shoulders ease and a smile stretched across his face. "And I'm yours."

"That's good to know." And with that, you leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. He responded by pulling you closer, his hand cupping your face. It was absolutely perfect.

"GET A ROOM YOU TWO!"

"SATSUKI KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT OR YOU'LL RUIN THE MOMENT!"

Because once the author finished Lostbelt 6.5 Traum, there were a lot of things to process.

Especially when it came to her first five-star and Grailed Ruler. So, there was lots of reflection, writing, and now here we are.

Upon of entering her room, the painter noticed an small novel upon her table. Did her father place it there? She didn’t see him lately, maybe he was away… Orders? Oh no, she isn’t done with her current orders.

“Good Heavens…” Hokusai grabs a pillow and sits on it before opening the small novel with her hands, and her eyes reading the text… Is this.. Is this what she thinks it is?! Oh no, did someone write an actual ‘fanfiction’ or whatever this is about the painter and assassin-san Yan qing?!

Someone save Hokusai at this point. Her cheeks have become blushed with pink, and her face is red. “EHHHH!? Did someone out there think we are gonna date!? Ayia Ayia! Besides, I am n-not a tsundere! Whatever its called!” She closes the novel, before opening the door.

1. A few days before my birthday this year, so February 18-20. Since I haven’t missed logins since, one probably can count backwards, but...

2.  Very first? Martha from the first roll. Then came Asterios, now-benched under-event-farmed Shiki, and Fujino.

3. Burning something that does not overflow? Heretical. Although, second Chiyome came close...

4. Favorite?  Design-wise, Circe, Artoria Lancer Alter and Salieri, writing-wise, Dantes, Saber Gilles de Rais and Asterios, gameplay-wise, Fujino, Holmes and Sigurd. Least favorite? Mochizuki Chiyome (I hate her art, I hate her design, I cared for her the less of all Shimosa, and she spooked rate-up with gold assassins I wanted twice); for everybody else I could care less, but they have minor saving graces.

5. Edmond Dantes, for whom I began playing, and whom I’ve got. Other than him, I have a prolonged Husbando-Waifu list.

6. Servant Summer Festival, GudaGuda Legend Of Imperial Capital and Inheritance Of Glory.

7. Favorite? Scandinavia, America, all the Remnants, Solomon, France, in that order. Least? Rome and Camelot (mostly the bosses and minibosses every step and other technicalities).

11. Dantes and Yan Qing are in a tie. I’ve saved for Dantes, but Yan Qing has been more slippery. 

12. I’ve had zero idea on what class affinity was up to the middle of Okeanos at least, I figured the workings of Craft Essences to the end of France and my first event - Garden Of Order rerun - was a natural disaster.

Crossover fanfiction with Persona 5 lead me to Wikia and TVTropes, at the former I’ve learned about FGO, and at the latter I’ve found abridged description of Dantes’ appearances and from this one of the most romantic arcs I’ve heard I’ve found myself a husbando and a fixation with the setting. So I’ve got myself the game as an early self-birthday gift, and stayed first for the writing, then for gameplay. 

16. Ereshkigal. Sitonai also looks nice, but quarz mines of Remnant are untouched for Eresh.

17. Classic Three Great Heroes, Foxy Lady, Art Of Death, Wolves Of Mibu and Afternoon At The Fortress, among others. To list just cards with nice are would be long.

The Disaster Artist (me, the person who read the book in like four days 1 month before the undergraduate placement exam, watched the movie almost a year after it’s release? Scandalous.)

Sarusuberi: Miss Hokusai ( It's about Katsushika Oi, daughter of Katsushika Hokusai and am ukiyo-e artist in her own right. Aaaaaghhh, the visuals are just gorgeous)

Incredibles 2 (Perception vs. Reality? Baudrillard? In my animated superhero movie? Yes, please.)  

The Shape of Water (I saw this... this year? How long was this year?!)

I'm also still going trough Universal’s Classic Monster Collection (My favourite unnecessary sequel was Dracula’s Daughter, lol)

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt (We don’t read this in school, so it was really a hidden gem for me)

Five Good/Positive things that happened to you in 2018:

How long this year felt. Mean, I almost forgot that i went to Budapest in January. It was also a nice bonding trip with my sister.

I actually drew illustrations for a literary magazine monthly form March to August. It was, in a way, my first real job? The magazine closed down, thou, for financial reasons. Dommage.

A fact about me: I was an exchange student to Japan after finishing 11th grade, 4 years ago. This year the family that hosted me came to Turkey for a visit and tour. Well... You don’t know how much you have missed someone, till you see them again.

For the first time in my life i’m staying in a house of my own. Not a dorm. Not a shared flat. My own apartment. Small, affordable, nice. That lease has MY name on it! It’s something!

My acne healed, finally. After 3 years. I'm in my 20s, why it had to be acne?!

FanFiction Friday

This little story was requested by Kaku~ enjoy!

Maximus, despite not having a daily routine established, always found himself wandering to one of the local fish markets on Fridays. Whether it was because of fish fry Fridays or something else… that was personal. He wandered among the isles, steel blue eyes staring at the stalls of fish and sea life with a look of melancholy. As he walked his boyfriend Hokusai followed closely behind wearing an irritated look on his face. One hand shoved in his pocket while the other gripped an ever-present smoothie.

“Dammit Maximus… why are we here again?? Every Friday we end up here at the fish market. I know you’re half Atlantean but seriously…” Hokusai cursed, grumbling to himself as he watched the hulk of a man looking around the stalls of fish.

“You and I both know you don’t have to come with me Hoku…” the titan replied as he knelt beside a table with raw octopus. He let out a sigh and moved on to the next.

“Quit moping! You look more depressing than the fish heads over there.” the Japanese man commented, jabbing behind him with a thumb. This was able to elicit a slight snicker from Maximus as he stopped besides a fish tank with lobsters. Hokusai stopped behind him and slurped noisily from his drink much to Maximus’ annoyance.

“I really think you just carry an empty smoothie cup around just so you have an excuse to suck on something.” Maximus smirked, glancing to his boyfriend who immediately looked away.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about baka,” was Hokusai’s response, face turning a faint shade of red, “can’t you just buy something so we can release it and go back home?”

“Why? Did you finish arguing with the dock workers? What did you call them again? Akahosa?” Maximus could see a vein bulge in his boyfriend’s forehead and smiled.

“You and I both know you’re fluent in Japanese just as well as I am. Those Ahokusas were muttering about you wandering the place and almost never buying anything. No one insults my boyfriend.” Hokusai growled, throwing his smoothie on the ground… and indeed it was empty. The giant titan glanced down and then back up at Hokusai with a smirk on his face.

“Sh-shut up baka!”

“I didn’t say anything~” teased Maximus as he turned to a table laden with shrimp. Hokusai turned a darker shade of red and kicked the empty cup down the aisle, crossing his arms and leaning against Maximus.

“So… should I bother asking what the fish are saying or are they dead?” he asked in mock interest.

“Most are dead… others are in shock and are muttering incoherently… Let’s just go home…” He mumbled and started towards the exit.

“I’m… I’m sorry Maximus…”

“Its fine… I’m fine. They’re just fish after all.” the two walked in silence for a few seconds before Maximus looked down at Hokusai. “If you want something to suck on I have something when we get home~” The look on his boyfriend’s face was the perfect pick me up as they wandered down the street towards their apartment.
