Bonne-Fortune Grocery Set

Published: 9-26-2023 | Updated: 9-28-2023 SUMMARY “The Bonne-Fortune series is the latest hit from Freezer Time Industries, receiving top honors at both FridgeCon and the ShinyThings, Inc. Expo. Give your store some retro-futuristic flair and bring all the customers to the yard!” This is a set of 13 moderately priced objects for grocery stores and other retail spaces. Shelves are designed to help you maximize space in/around displays, including a shelf (endtable OMSP) which holds objects at an angle. The set is intended to be modular but not too complicated – some assembly required (see below). Fridges function like shelves – so they won’t keep spoilable food from going bad. They have space for sale items and additional shelving but need to be shifted upward once. Several maxis-themed recolors and an invisible recolor (in case you need it for the carousel display) are included. Additional recolors are available on this site under the #ts2recolors and #co2recolors tags.

1) Place a refrigerator (remember to shift upwards once) or Carousel End/Center pieces (the carousel parts are deco; place end/center parts on the same tile). Use “move objects on/off” and/or “snap to grid true/false” cheats to add the second End piece to the carousel.

2) Use the same cheats to place shelves but make sure to add your sale items to them first. Adding items first makes things easier because if you try to put objects above a shelf with empty slots, the game may think you’re trying to put it on that shelf (including other shelves).

3) For the Carousel End Shelf (use it with the curvy part of the Carousel End), place an item on the shelf,  and shift it in place until the item looks like it is sitting on the carousel.

4) Take advantage of the invisible recolors OR use the OMSP Controller (select SilentLucidity OMSPs) to make this shelf invisible/visible as needed. Do NOT use the invisible recolor if you’d rather use the OMSP controller.

5) You may need the Tile Blocker to keep sims from walking through parts of the display (i.e. the carousel). It is included with the meshes and in the collection file. Just be sure that you place it between/behind whatever shelving you add to the carousel – don’t accidently block those shelves.

6) The Carousel Lite is OPTIONAL deco – place it on the same tile as the Carousel End/Center pieces. It is repo’d to the EverGlow Plutonium Rod (neon light) from the Nightlife EP. As you can see in the pics above, the default recolors emit colored light. Custom recolors will emit a soft glow, but no bold colored light.

7) Area Signs 001-002 are optional deco as well – place and shift them as needed.

notes: i recently quit bartending after 3 years and am having total withdrawals now that i'm a big girl (gag) so here are the jjk men's drink orders hahaha <3

p.s. i know it's canon that some don't drink, but just fancy me

nanami: doesn't drink very often except for after a stressful week at work or on a special occasion be it a work dinner or anniversary night. but when he does drink he's drinking a martini of sorts, most likely a dirty martini with gin..honorable mention: neat whiskey.

toji: without a doubt if he were to drink.. it's definitely some cheap ass beer. i'm talking miller lite, bud light, BUDWEISER, and also bottom of the BARREL tequila. well tequila. sauza tequila.

gojo: why do i feel like he's the one ordering the sweet sugary cocktails??? i'm talking hurricanes, blue hawaiians, sex on the beach, mai tais!!! if it has simple syrup and food coloring then he's ordering it

geto: guys.... he's drinking wine. he's drinking red wine, cabernets and pinor noirs specifically. lips flushed a pinkish cherry flavor from the drink, bitter aftertaste. yum.

choso: this man is a beer drinker as well but not in a broski way but in an idk what to order so he orders whatever the special of the day is. probably a darker, more stout beer. never takes shots unless he's on his third beer already and is partial to IPAS.

Clarke finds out by accident.

Gay serendipity, if you will.

It's on a night about a week or so into her ill-conceived visit home when she's bouncing off the walls of her mother and stepfather's very quiet, very 'Bud Lite is hard alchohol, Clarke', very everyone's already in bed by 9:45pm home.

So she does what her little bisexual heart used to dream of back when she'd be sighing over a mountain of homework that she'd put off until the night when there truly was nothing in podunk town to do. She grabs her keys and drives two towns over to the nearest hole-in-the-wall gay bar.

It's not that she's looking to hookup or anything, but she's banking on the booze being cheaper, the bartender less sleezy, and the music being at least nominally better than any of its close straight counterparts. And she gets a few raised eyebrows at her obviously not-from-around-here attire, but it's find cuz Clarke works well under pressure snd it's no time before she's 3 drinks in and made best friends with the bouncer decked out in leather.

So imagine her shock when she traipses her way toward the bathroom in the back, already mentally planning her gymnastics of how she's gonna pee in this place without actually having to touch anything, when she catches a glimpse of a familiar head of brunette in the corner.

That? Pulls her up short quick as shit. Steps fully grinding to stop, need for a bathroom long forgotten.

Because.... yyyyeah... Ok.

Ok.

That's... That is definitely Lexa.

That is Lexa sitting in the corner of dingy gay bar, wearing that godawful sweater and nursing what looks like a whiskey sour.

The same woman who'd lead every student council anti-drug and alcohol school assembly. The same woman who'd been active in 4-H Club and who'd probably made honor roll when she was still in diapers. The same woman who'd sassed Clarke just a few days prior for being stupid enough to ask if Gus's could manage a cappuccino or an espresso, and had served her up a cup of plain black coffee instead.

With a smile and an offer of her choice between regular or decaf, and the option of store bought hazelnut creamer or sugar free vanilla ("We keep it stocked for Mr. Parker's diabetes" she'd explained for no reason at all) if Clarke would like, because customer service, obviously.

So yeah, that is definitely her sitting there sipping her drink while reading a book in a bar, because of course she would be.

And Clarke approaches her with all the grace of a bull in a china shop, making her way over and plunking down in the small table's spare seat with little more than a, "What in the hell are you doing here?"

Lexa, having far more tact and just a bit less liquor in her system, marks her place with her finger and flips the book closed and greets Clarke with a perfectly friendly, if not tired, "Hello, Clarke."

As though running into each other at gay bar isn't something worth causing Clarke's brain to short circuit.

"What are you doing here?"

"I suspect the same thing as you," Lexa says on the tail end of a dainty sip and rattle of the ice cubes in her drink.

Which, yeah duh, obviously that makes sense, but also, "How— Wha— How did I never know you were..."

"A lesbian?"

It's the way she says it. With just that soft lilt of amusement mixed with a touch of scandal, all glinting eyes in the bar's neon lowlight and those ridiculously full lips pulled up in a secret kind of grin.

It all has Clarke struggling to ignore the sudden swoop of her belly as she sits back in her chair. "Well... yeah," she breathes around the inexplicable feeling that somehow her entire childhood had been a lie. "How did I never know this? How did no one ever know this?"

Lexa just shrugs.

"No one ever bothered to ask."

And that lands like a boulder-sized punch to the gut. Because she's right. And Clarke knows it.

A piece of her aches imagining how lonely that must've felt.

"I'm bi," she finds herself blurting just to fill in the awkward silence that stretches between then and because it suddenly feels important that Lexa know that about her as well.

Lexa must take mercy on her, or maybe it's just pity with the way she nods, like that wasn't a completely redundant and idiotic thing to say considering they are both sitting in a gay bar.

"I know, Clarke."

"Wait, you already knew?"

"Yes."

"Since when?"

"I'm honestly not sure."

"We did— You and I, we never talked... How exactly did you know then?"

She hums and tips back another sip. "Hm... In the wise words of a great thinker that came before me, 'One can observe a lot just by watching'."

Clarke can't help the roll of her eyes, because of course Lexa would still spout philosophical crap when drinking whiskey. "What does that— Is that some kind of zen shit or something?"

"Mmm, close," Lexa says in a quiet laugh. "Yogi Berra. Dad's a big baseball history fanatic."

Right.

She should've expected something like that.

Because Clarke is in fact still talking to the Alexandria Woods. The one who can't seem to manage to just be normal at any goddamn point in her life. But as perplexing as this woman is - as she's always been, apparently - that still doesn't answer her question.

"Okaaay. So, what? Are you saying I was obvious?"

Lexa's eyes feel magnetic. Dangerous at how they pin Clarke under their stare. The few seconds it takes for Lexa to slowly shake her head feel like an eternity in Clarke's mind before she offers up nothing more than simple, "No."

Clarke has no idea what to make of that answer.

And Clarke decides right then that maybe she's too drunk for all this. For this woman and her riddles and her general weird ass confusing... ness. Maybe her brain is just too addled by cheap beer and the faint scent of cigarettes to make sense of the night's revelations on top of the look Lexa sits there and gives her.

Or why it has her body getting warm and tingly from the inside...

So she excuses herself in the form of a scraping chair legs across the linoleum and an eloquent declaration of her suddenly dire need to pee.

Lexa takes it stride. As though she'd been expecting as much all along, not missing a beat as she flips her book back open and goes right back to her saved spot on the page.

Clarke can only manage a grunt in return in her haste to get some air when Lexa quietly tells her to get home safe.

Backstory:

Early Life/Academy phase:

As the name indicates, he's related to both the Hresvelg and Blaiddyd families, though he is actually the son of Lambert and Patricia and possesses a crest of Blaiddyd. During the tragedy of Duscur, he was in his mother's carriage and got abducted by TWSITD: but instead of outright killing the kid, they decided to raise him as one of their own, as a way to have a royal replacement with a semblance of legitimacy in case Edelgard turned against them too soon and they had to get rid of her. However, even though he was forced to do terrible things at the hands of TWSITD (namely experiments) from a very young age and was essentially brainwashed by them, he never forgot his older brother, and deeply wished to be reunited with him. During his eight/nine years amidst their ranks, he basically became a child soldier, as well as good at magic: however, he also suffered a major injury under mysterious circumstances which left his right arm badly burnt. As a result, TWSITD came up with an artificial relic, his glove, which channels the power of his Crest and boosts his magical attacks instead of his physical ones- his favorite spell being an altered version of dark spikes (basically the only one he’ll use).

Timeskip Phase:

A little after the start of the war, Edelgard manages to learn about her little brother's existence and reveals to him the manipulation he's been subjected to his whole life. Though still in the clutches of TWSITD, who he now really wants to see dead, he sides with his newfound family (Edelgard and the other Hresvelg siblings), never giving up the hope to see his older brother Dimitri again- and trying very hard to prevent him and Edelgard from killing each other. Along the way, he learns again what it is like to just be a kid-and to be a sibling.  

War Phase:

During the war, Loki sometimes fights along his siblings on the battlefield (as support), mainly when there is a chance of his older brother Dimitri being present. He spends a lot of time trying to convince him to join Edelgard’s side, to no avail, before he understands he can control neither of his siblings’ actions  and he will never have the family he wants; as a last ditch effort, though, he will save Dimitri from death in routes where he would usually die.

In the meantime, he tries to get his hand on as much info about TWSITD’s victims and the experiments they went through, and tries to develop ways to heal them- or at the very least, honor their memory and find the families of the deceased.

Post-Canon:

After TWSITD are defeated, Loki takes the time to heal and takes the radical decision to chop his right arm off and start wearing a prosthesis. He also abandons his relic-lite glove, since he wants to turn that page of his life and doesn’t intend to fight anymore. Later on, he moves to Faerghus with Aline, where they help rebuild the Kingdom and he becomes a teacher at the Fhirdiad Magic Academy. In parallel, he puts in a lot of work in order to help the Agarthan people recover from TWSITD’s influence and find their place within the rest of Fodlanese society, as well as promote the Agarthan culture (I refuse to think that all Agarthans are evil after 1,000 years; my personal headcanon is that Agartha is an authoritarian regime ruled by TWSTID. Furthermore, I really want to see an underground light festival where everyone wears makeup inspired by the constellations and stars. I can do what I want.)

Personality:

     Loki is a very smart kid, but his life experience has led him to become very distrusting of adults and other people in general. As a rule, he is a pretty sarcastic person and is cold to people he does not feel uncomfortable with, to the point that he often lashes out at them undeserved. However, he is also someone who deeply wants to do good, and is sweet and caring towards those he trusts- as well as a massive sucker for hugs.

His gender expression, but also his makeup, is a way for him to express his personality; he starts using more colors post-canon as he is more and more at peace with his life.

As a result of his trauma, he suffers from selective mutism; he also hates having blood on his hands, and has a knee-jerk reaction to having anything slightly dirty or reminiscent of blood on himself.

Gameplay:

it's better for everyone's sanity if i don't try to do stats i know nothing about ; but his class is Gremory. He excels in Science, and his magical attack is by far his highest stat; he is decent in faith and in magical defense, however he absolutely sucks at everything else. His physical defense is six feet under, further impeded by the fact that his right arm is an obvious weak point for any enemy.

Recruitment:

Since he doesn’t appear until post-timeskip, he isn’t recruitable.

I’m guessing Agarthan alimentation is pretty different from the reste of Fodlan’s alimentation, so he keeps expanding his tastes as time goes on, although he might sometimes have a knee-jerk reaction to it. He loves lemonade though.

What are your top 3 most important OCs (main fursona excluded) and why did you pick them? :3

Okay first off... faahhhhahahahahakkkkkkk this one is hard and it hurts my feels a lil bc how do you expect me to choose? Or rather... how the F do you expect me to pick only three this is outrageous XD So.. hhh.. here goes nothing I guess? (Mind, I have more but I battle royaled them against one another mentally to pick for this one because 3 (three), the audacity.

First up we go with Alhayra I guess, which probably does not come as a big surprise. She was created around 2011 under less than ideal "circumstances" (if you know you know if you don't, don't ask). She is a hybrid of a Binturong and a Clouded Leopard and takes bit more after her Binturong momma Rehani visually but she has some Spotting and Markings on her that nod to her Clouded Leopard father Riyadh along with a longer, thinner cat-like tail and of course her face shape and snout are a bit finer and longer. If it weren't for her funky ears (which neither parent can really account for or explain) she would probably pass rather well as some sort of feline. Like I said her coming to be was not really the best thing ever but I can't bring myself to regret her existence because I loved her from the first moment my mind cooked her up and when she was on paper I knew I would love this OC forever. She has all the design elements I adore because even if I slowly start to go a bit wilder again with my designs back then I had a huge thing for favouring blacks, whites and grey characters so Alhayra hits all the sweet spots by being mostly black with white/ silver markings and of course - to no ones surprise who takes one hard look at my gallery - long silver hair. Also she has the thing i like to do with lot of my chars were you have some expectations because of how they look and they are the opposite, like Alhayra is a lite dainty thing technically but she can and will body you and wipe the floor with you if she needs to because I like deceptively small/ weak / fragile looking chars that can and will fuck you up. (idk man i grew up on Asterix among other things) So yeah look wise Alhayra has it all for me too which makes her enjoyable to draw. But eh... without saying to much about the before mentioned circumstances: Alhayra had some baggage attached to her that made it hard to work with her, on her, or the story I had to rewrite from more or less scratch because I became rather overprotective of her and didn't want to bring too much attention to her after some shit went down and sometimes I simply couldn't either. Which is why she is even more important now I guess. She has a history, she has baggage, she had to fade into the background for a while until I felt better and now she is back in action and marks closing a chapter, staring anew, reclaiming what was mine to begin with. She is a desert bandit in her story but she was born a rebel and she remained one. Drawing her these days makes me grin, so expect more from her in the next year or even this one if I manage.

Second up we have Siti. Siti is a fossa and she is a pirate and she is the reason why I have:

a compass tattoo which also happens to be my first that I spontaneously got etched into my skin in honor of Siti and everybody else and the story

reprieves and spots of peace from a lot of hardships in my life since 2019 - 2022 kinda decided to suckerpunch me ultra hard (and my family too) and last but not least

Siti is the reason I have the privilege and joy of being closer to a magnificent person and human being who i love very much and would move mountains for.

Any yo if a character gives you all of that you bet your ass they are on my important babes list. And now I think I need to rewrite my character creation process now that I say it here I guess or maybe not let's see how much I feel like editing - but basically for context i wasn't into doing group stuff anymore and weary of connecting with people in general but also with characters of other people because reasons but in 2020 @zelendur approached me with an invite to her pirate story ( which I had eyed from afar for a bit before that, especially Yadira) and it meant so much to me for reasons I can't even put to words properly but it did mean the world it still means the world to me to have been invited to this project and Siti basically sprung to life the moment it was said "you have to have a connection with an existing crew member to get aboard the priate crew" I pointed to Yadira, and a few hours later we had a connection, a background story and I had produced a sketch, the very sketch of the headshot above to be exact. While not fully fleshed out I haven't had a character spring forth to life in such a quick and detailed way in ages so it was amazing. I might also have projected a lot of my life into Siti... i mean you can find something of me in each character sometimes it's rather on the nose and sometimes it's more abstract but with Siti I wove a lot of stuff I had to deal with into her storyline. Example being that she grew up on an island were she was ostracized by her people rather early on and therefore grew up very isolated among her peers and it of course had an influence on how Siti deals and interacts with people and how she holds herself and all that stuff and it is related to the isolation I experienced from age 11 onwards with my own peers in highschool which did me no favours either. Her running an undercurrent of aggression that is hidden well under a calm and pleasant surface and a kind smile is also rather something taken directly though in Sitis case her aggressions stem from the fear of loss first and foremost. But yah Siti has some rather big chunks from me that dictate her demeanor. Sorry baby :) And like I said after Siti came a colourful cast of other pirate characters that I love to bits and that helped me get through a lot of stress and hard times since they've been around and it started with a hand held in my direction and a golden eyed character that sparked to life in a matter of hours because of it.

I made her as a teenager, I used her as OC in the sonic fandoms back in ye olden days on animexx in rpgs (among with a shitton of other characters from the same universe as her). Mind, she was never much of a Sonic character to begin with and I never drew her as such but that is beside the point tbh I wanted to play with her and the others so that's what I did. In the end i got some epic storybeats out of that and my brother from another mother who was the only one who stuck around after the stories ended and things got harder in both our lives. We are in contact to this day, we were so fucking young when we met and at some point we also realized oh shit we have the same birthday too ain't that a coincidence? And it's mostly thanks to Imago and her brother Silence that we had so much to do with one another in the beginning and the rpg which lead to a over more than a decade old friendship (and damn let me think soon... yeah 3 or 4 more years and it will be two decades bro ain't getting younger) So ah fuck, so Imago is almost existing for 20 years now and the stories my bro and i are working together on is likewise this fucking old holy shit this only occured to me when I had to think about it lol. What else needs to be known about Imago is, that she is made from grief. Her story is kinda hard and tragic but ends hopeful and with being reunited with her brother and a lot of other shit. Look I do not want to roll out Imagos whole story mainly because it is fucking long and would take forever to explain (which makes sense I had almost 20 years to build this one and honestly her story spans over millenia in universe because she technically got killed and cheated death and stuff, it's a lot) and also because i dunno talking about Imago with my bro is easy, he knows her and everything but talking about Imago in general is hard. (cw starts here) Like I said, she is made from grief. She was made after I was introduced to the concept of grief and loss for the first time in my life when i was old enough to comprehend and still too young to deal. I had a person in my life, who i regarded like a second mother (I called her catmama) . She was my mothers cousin and my fathers best friend since their teenage years; they knew each other for so long too. She died when I was 13, I have recently realized that I am now almost a year older than she was when she died. And that fucks me up a lot because I can't imagine having my life cut short now, just like that, just like hers was and at the same time i can't believe I have now officially outlived her on top of that. Loosing her fucked me up, even so many years later it still fucks me up because time does not heal all wounds you know? You just learn to deal with it but it does get better that at least I can promise you. Imago came about because I missed her so much, I missed my mom. So I made Imago in her honor and gave her a lot of characteristics that I had admired in my teens about my catmama. Imago is strong, like she was, she is kind, she doesn't take no shit and has a spine of steel and despite her hardships she never gives up and never looses her kindness... and well Imago does die too in her story but she also manages to come back even if it takes a lot and isn't easy but for me implementing these story beats was important and healing and this is why Imago is one of the most important, if not the most important characters I have. (cw end) You will not see all too much of her because I rather write with her than draw her and also because i would rather avoid her getting too much attention in general and especially attention of the thirsty kind (which has not happened yet and i rather keep it that way yaknow?) But who knows if I draw something very magnificent with her I might. Given that I just realized how much time has actually passed since then i might be obligated to draw something epic. Imma put a pin in that for now.
