YES OF COURSE I'D LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THOSE

I haven't touched this doc in a while, but basically, it was intended as a way for me to work on the dynamics and characterization of my fe3h OCs back when I had just created them. Most of those snippets date back like, 3-4 years I believe.

It was a mix-and-match of whatever I felt like writing- incorrect quotes, more serious stuff - and retrospectively, the characterizations have changed a reasonable amount. Most of it is still accurate, though !

That being said, I scrolled through the doc to find the funniest snippets to share with you. Please forgive the grammatical mistakes I was too lazy to rectify. xD Also, due to the limit of 15 images per post, I went crazy tryna cram it all on Canva. Have fun trying to read this =D

Hey what kind of songbirds you got over in France? I know about the starlings at least; making themselves at home, they are.

Mmh I might not be the most educated when it comes to ornithology but I'll do my best. Nina can probs complete this with anything I might've missed !

I don't think they categorize as songbirds at all but when you live in Paris pigeons are fucking EVERYWHERE, and they're very present in the country as a general rule >=D

I hate to say it, but Polites' death was even sadder than I first thought. Not only did he, Odysseus's best friend, die a horrible death, but his beliefs died with him. His song was all about convincing Odysseus to great the world with open arms, to be kind to his foes, but his death causes Odysseus to not only abandon those beliefs, but move in the complete opposite direction.

This is reinforced by "No longer you", with Tiresias telling Odysseus that the man who returns home isn't him anymore. That's because the old Odysseus, the one who believed in kindness and open arms, died with Polites, but the new Odysseus from "Monster" who believes in ruthlessness, in making it home no matter the cost, survives. He doesn't just become the monster, he destroys the other parts of him who believed what Polites did. In other words, Open arms Ody dies, but Ruthlessness is mercy Ody lives.

Sorry for the ramble but those are just my thoughts and interpretation of the Underworld Saga.

First, for a snippet:

He slowed down his pace as he caught the first whiff of lavender in the air, and the first flash of silver across the morning sky: flowing like a wisp of smoke, the white chevelure looked as enchanting as ominous. A rush of gleeful surprise ran through his limbs as he lifted his arm and waved, “Than !” The silhouette sat upon the hill turned towards him, and his disappointment at what was clearly not his boyfriend was quickly replaced with burning curiosity.

This is a chapter of my fic Of Bergamots and Blood, which is sadly on hiatus rn BUT ALSO I've started rewriting it from the ground up and I will publish it as soon as I'm done >=D

This is supposed to be the first instalment of a series of incredible indulgent fics revolving around the idea of a crossover between Hades and FE3H. More specifically, this is an Edelgard/Zagreus fic, where the two characters meet and slowly fall for each other as the years roll by. Chapter 2 (Death is a social construct) relates their second encounter, after Zagreus died in front of El at the end of chapter 1.

The later instalments in the series are supposed to lead to a Zagreus/Thanatos/Byleth/Edelgard polycule >=D
