First of all, I love short hair on women😍 I like longer hair too, but women with short or shoulder-length hair are my weakness❤ I wish we could've gotten a scene of her without her hat so we could see her hair completely, but I like the hat too!

When her voice gets low & raspy, especially after she's infected??🙈😍

The way she says "Nice work, hotshot" with a smirk on her face lives rent-free in my head, it's soo😍😅

If you're playing as Jason trying to cut Merwin down & you fail the button mash qte, Clarice takes the knife from him & does it herself ugh what a confident badass, that's my girl❤

house of ashes was so good it had me furiously scribbling away the second i finished it. i love literally every character, i think their changes and all their relationships were excellently written. but god did jason go through some DEVELOPMENT. i will forever lose it over his arc and his relationship with salim. ANYWAY god i love this game.

Based on the clear way the back of Jason's hand moves up above his mouth before wiping to the side... I'm choosing to believe Jason's eyes were a lil watery at the very least there, kinda like they were during the checkpoint confession. But in my headcanon he definitely wiped away a tear there.

Thinking long and hard about Jason's line when he asks Rachel to give him a reason to not shoot her and she says nothing

"Not gonna lie to you sweetheart, you're not selling it" Everyone who thinks this man is straight is clinically insane what is this

So now I'm thinking about everyone's usage of pet names

Here's my take on it

Jason: It's there for sassy effect and sassy effect ONLY. He very rarely will genuinely call someone darling but that's like... he's drunk or he's extremely tired.

Also very partial to nicknames whether it be platonic or otherwise (how many fucking times did he call Nick Nicky), tends to call people anything but their names (ma'am ma'am ma'am out his mouth every five seconds talking to Rachel, Salim and Nick are buddy half the time, pretty sure he uses Colonel more than Eric)

Rachel: We see her call Nick baby in the beginning if certain choices are made, so she probably uses it in moments of tenderness but not very often

Eric: used to say "honey I'm home" every time he came home until Rachel threw a shoe at him

Seriously though, he is probably more nickname oriented (as we see with his constant use of Rach), but will use them if he sees it fit

Nick: tell me this man wouldn't use pet names. He's a romantic, he'd probably have a list of them memorized and use the ones that stick the best

Salim: uses arabic pet names frequently, won't use English ones at all

He calls Jason honey once and he says to never do that again

Joey: I have no clue with him...

Merwin: hard to believe he's married. Think about that a lot. He probably uses them in private but wouldn't be caught in public

Clarice: Dude, bro, man, homie, dawg... Arsenal full of names but they're not romantic

Kingkay - Nick exclaims he is cold. Eric starts taking off his jacket. But he keeps going until he is top-to-toe naked, exclaiming that "cuddling via skin-to-skin contact is the most efficient way to warm up". Nick is into this.

Jalim - Salim exclaims he is cold. Jason starts taking off his jacket. Before Salim can say "thank you", Jason throws the jacket on the ground and sets it on fire. Trying to be romantic, Jason pulls out the "I'd set myself on fire if it meant keeping you warm" line. Salim is not pleased.
