Tips For Hiring A Good Filipino Virtual Assistant

If you're embarking on the journey of hiring your first Filipino virtual assistant, you might be wondering where to start. A virtual assistant, or VA, operates remotely, taking on a myriad of administrative and technical responsibilities tailored to your business's requirements. In today's fast-paced business landscape, having a dependable assistant to tackle the daily tasks that accumulate is indispensable. This is precisely where a virtual assistant can be your saving grace.
When it comes to recruiting individuals for virtual assistant jobs Philippines, it's crucial to know what attributes to seek. Similar to any hiring process, clarity is key. You must have a precise understanding of the roles and responsibilities you intend to delegate to your VA and the specific skill sets required to execute them effectively.
Failing to articulate your expectations and the role you envision for your virtual assistant can lead to mismatched expectations and disappointment. Without a clear understanding, you might find yourself relying on someone ill-suited for the job, resulting in frustration and unmet objectives.
Several significant factors warrant consideration when selecting a virtual assistant. These include the nature of your business, the tasks requiring assistance, the cost or hourly rate of the VA, their skillset, and perhaps most importantly, their personality. Ultimately, your aim is to onboard someone capable of not only performing admirably but also aligning with your business objectives.
In the realm of virtual assistance, compatibility between employer and assistant is paramount. Communication, trust, and mutual understanding form the foundation of a successful working relationship. It's essential to foster an environment where your VA feels valued and empowered to contribute positively to your business endeavors.
Moreover, leveraging technology and communication tools effectively can bridge geographical gaps, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity. Regular check-ins, clear task delegation, and constructive feedback mechanisms facilitate clarity and promote a sense of camaraderie despite physical separation.
By investing time and effort in the recruitment process, you increase the likelihood of finding a virtual assistant who not only meets but exceeds your expectations. Remember, your VA is more than just an extra pair of hands; they're a vital asset contributing to the growth and success of your enterprise.

hi ! love ur fics <3
can i request reader as being a massive flirt publicly towards spencer but when its Intimate and Private, reader is suddenly Stunned and Speechless and Blushing and spencer kinda gets the confidence to Do Stuff
im sorry if that was the stupidest described ask ever achh but lov u !
pairing: s9!spencer reid x bau!fem!reader genre: established relationship, bombshell-ish(?) reader, fluff warnings: 16+ for kind of suggestive? heâs so in love UGH a/n: thank you for requesting !! wc: 1.22k
Spencer thinks that you are the most beautiful person in the world. He thinks that youâre glowing every time you walk into the roomâ no matter how upset or disgruntled you may beâ and as cliche as it may seem, heâs certain that swarms butterflies fill his stomach and cloud his mind. In fact, he thinks that you have always had that effect on him, ever since heâs met you. Youâre touchy, and despite Spencerâs general aversion to physical touch, he finds that he doesnât mind your germs much.Â
Very often he finds himself at your mercy, with the way your fingers brush against his face as if itâs nothing, as if that movement alone was something that you do with everyone (youâve only ever done it with him). There are other instances where youâve been very blatant in your attraction towards him, so much so that he ends up with his cheeks hot more often than not. A part of him is grateful that though you work in the FBI, it isnât his division. He doubts heâd be able to see the end of it.
âSpencer,â you gush, curling your fingers into the ends of his hair. Or rather, lack of hair. âYou got a haircut. Youâre supposed to consult me first, you know.â
He laughs, looking up at you as you stand over him while he sits at his desk. âIs that what a good boyfriend is supposed to do?â
âYes.â You speak with mock indignation, properly running your fingers through his hair from his fringe to the back of his head. âItâs so short.â
âDo you hate it?â Thereâs a momentary pang of unease that strikes at his heart. âMaybe I should have consulted you.â
âNo, baby, it looks really good.â You smile at him, pressing a kiss to his hairline. âYouâre warm. Do you have a fever?â
Of course Iâm warm, Spencer wants to say while you continue to dote on him, your hands travelling to his collar next and brushing against his throat. Youâre touching me in the middle of the bullpen.Â
He opts to not say anything when he sees your knowing smile. Youâre doing this on purpose. He clicks his tongue, squeezing at your waist lightly as you lean over him to kiss his forehead. Heâll let you win this battle; heâs going to get you back.
***
He doesnât really know how to get you back. There are a few harmless things heâd thought of doing: sneaking into your department and hiding your mug on the top shelf (he fears that youâd ask someone, a taller more handsome someone, to rescue it for you), not wearing the tie you picked out for him that morning (he can already envision your disappointed frown and his chest aches at the imaginary you getting upset because of him), and putting toothpaste in your Oreos (he doesnât want to die).Â
All of these ideas go down the drain and he ends up not getting back at you for days. It doesnât help that heâs been gone for a case while youâve been stuck at home. It isnât all bad, and a part of him wishes that he can hold himself to the same level of confidence as Derek when Penelope calls him with flirtatious motives. You do virtually the same thing.Â
Your words are honey as you shower him with compliments, ending him with a simple âHey, gorgeous.âÂ
It is enough to make his heart leap to his throat and his cheeks to warm to a pretty pink. Thereâs not much overlap between the Human Resources Branch and the BAU, especially considering that you assist more on the training and hiring side of things, so there arenât many opportunities for you to fluster him when heâs out of the office. He finds that you always make an excuse.
âHi,â he responds softly, avoiding the teasing gazes of Emily and Derek. âIs⌠are you okay?â
âDo I need to not be okay to talk to my lovely boyfriend?âÂ
Youâre teasing him, poking fun at the way he so easily surrenders to you. He resists the urge to run out the room.Â
âStop,â he warns half-heartedly. He says your name quietly, tapping his fingers at the edge of the table. âIs there something you needed?â
He can practically hear you smile as you respond, the sound of your mouse clicking in the background. âOh, yeah. My computer says that my storage is full. What do I do?â
âYour storage is full,â he repeats, smiling. âThatâs why you called me?â
âItâs lunchtime in Santa Monica, right?â
He relents, cheeks hurting from how hot and stretched out they are. âYes.â
âThen it shouldnât be a problem.âÂ
He puffs out a breath of air, running his fingers through his hair. âYouâre ridiculous.â
âYouâre lovely.â He can imagine you batting your eyes, your smile saccharine. âDonât you wish that you were here, gorgeous?â
Heâs definitely going to get you back.
***Â
Spencer goes to your apartment once the case ends, his eyes dreary with sleep and the horrors that he saw only a few hours prior. Your apartment key hangs next to his on his keychainâ a limited edition Tardis charm that you got him for his birthday. He huffs out a breath, unlocking your door and stepping inside. Heâs met with you dancing around in your kitchen, headphones on whilst holding a wooden spoon. A part of him is concerned with how easily he could slip into your home without being notice, but the other part canât help but smile at how carefree you look, and he leans against the wall to stare.Â
He doesnât get the opportunity to stare for long. Itâs comical, the way you jump upon seeing him, eyes wide as you rip your headphones off.Â
âYouâre back! You scared me.â A smile stretches across your lips while you press your palm to your chest whilst taking steps towards him. âDonât do that ever again.â
Spencer laughs, toeing his shoes off and resting his hands on your waist. His head dips down to meet your gaze, peering up at you with a soft smile. âYou look beautiful.â
Your cheeks glow warm and you break eye contact. âYeah?â
âMm.â He hooks his pointer finger under your chin, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. âI missed you.â
He notes the way you donât respond, in some sort of daze while your lips part in both surprise and flusteredness. He understands your sentimentsâ it isnât often that he initiates affection.Â
âDid you miss me, too?â Spencer asks softly, his lips brushing against the shell of your ear as he speaks.Â
âOf course I did,â you croak out, heat building in your head.Â
Spencer chuckles, a smug smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. Heâs doing this on purpose, flustering you to the point of no return. He kisses you again, one hand holding the base of your head while the other squeezes at the flesh of your waist. Itâs dizzying, the taste of coffee on his tongue and the feel of his fingers in your hair.Â
âHey, gorgeous,â he murmurs once heâs pulled away. His thumb rubs a line from the back of your ear to where your jawline starts, and he canât help but chuckle. âWhere did that confidence go, hm?â
reblogs are always appreciated!

Scarlett Johansson x Reader
Word Count: 4k
.
âItâs nothing.â Scarlett defended. Her hand dropped from her lower back. She stood straighter. You dropped your eyes to the floor at her tone, heat crawled up your neck.
It wasnât nothing.Â
Youâd only been hired as her assistant a month ago, but you knew it wasnât nothing.
.
You didnât meet her in person until after youâd gotten the job.Â
At your interview, conducted over zoom, Scarlett Johansson had explained her skin-care line would be launching before the end of the year. Sheâd detailed the lengthy list of job responsibilities with an edge to her voice. Even through the screen, youâd caught the challenge in the tilt of her chin.Â
The unspoken dare. If it was too much for you, back out now.
You only smiled.
âIâd love the opportunity.â You told her sincerely.
Scarlettâs eyebrow raised. For a moment, you thought you saw a sparkle of humour in her eye. Then, the tension returned.
âIâll be in touch.â She told you, ending the call before you could respond again.
The job contract, the NDA and the practicalities of relocating for your new job took two weeks.Â
.
There was something Scarlett did not mention on the phone.Â
You knocked on her door on the first day.Â
Youâd already been let through security checks at the gate. You knew you were expected.
Scarlett opened the door.Â
You were anticipating her to be very tired, exhausted even. Scarlett was currently on a virtual press tour for her new movie.Â
You were not expecting her to be so.
Pregnant.
Scarlettâs face was smooth, except for subtle lines of tension around her eyes. She waited, holding the door ajar, daring you to comment.Â
You glanced at the cardboard boxes lining the hallway behind her.Â
âHow can I help?â You asked, feeling your senses come back to you.Â
You followed Scarlett through to her own kitchen. Even walking behind her, you felt in awe. You savoured the moment out of her sight to let the shock of her pregnancy run through you.
No-one knew.
Youâd been watching her press junket interviews for the past few days, calling it work prep. There had been no indication. No hint at all.
You tried to wipe your expression blank again when Scarlett next turned to face you. The same warning was written across her face. You let a belated congratulations die in your throat.
âI have a busy day.â She told you in a tight voice. âI have video interviews scheduled back to back.â
You gave a silent nod. Scarlett gestured to yet another taped cardboard box sitting on her kitchen counter.Â
âI need to move him out.â She continued.Â
You kept your face frozen. Colin Jost, your mind supplied helpfully. Youâd been researching your boss, more work prep.
âI need you to move him out.â Scarlett corrected herself. She gave you an assessing look. Disappointment swirled in her eyes as she took in your stunned reaction.
You snapped back to the moment.Â
âOf course.â You murmured, trying to calm your reeling mind. You moved over to the kitchen counter and the box.
Scarlett stepped away from your advance automatically, heading over to the door.Â
The distrust in her body language trickled over you. You blushed in embarrassment.
âThe NDA.â She reminded you bluntly, voice rasping.Â
âThe iron clad one I signed?â You asked, voice too innocent.
For a moment, a hint of humour sparkled in Scarlettâs eye. Exhaustion cut through it quickly.Â
âIâll be back later.â She told you evenly, before she left the room.
When she was gone, you nearly had a panic attack.Â
Standing alone in her kitchen, staring at a box of her exâs belongings.Â
Scarlett Johansson was beautiful. You closed your eyes and knew she was embedded in your brain.Â
It didnât matter.Â
The box was heavy as you lugged it through to sit with the others in the hallway. You walked through her house numbly, searching out more cardboard boxes. You avoided only the room that you could hear her laughing in. You found half a dozen more heavy boxes.Â
Back breaking work on your first day should have been a red flag.
Still, youâd never had a pregnant boss before. You found yourself grateful that youâd been designated the task. You didnât like to think of her doing it herself.Â
You spent the next half hour pacing unsurely around the kitchen. At last, Scarlett came through at lunchtime.Â
There was nothing subtle about her exhaustion or tension now. Her hair was tied back, it made her look drawn.Â
A buildup of questions fell from your mouth before you could help it.
âCan I get you something to eat? Who should I call about the boxes? Is there anything else I can do?â
Scarlett stared at you for a moment in the doorway. You watched her exhale in frustration. Alarm flared inside you.
âI donât have time for lunch. I have back to back interviews.â She told you, voice simmering. âIf itâs not in front of me right now, I donât have time to eat it. I assumed that was clear.â
An apology caught in your throat as she unlocked and slid her phone across the now bare kitchen counter.Â
âHeâs my last missed call.â She told you bluntly. âTell him to pick the boxes up.â
You nodded nervously, searching for the contact hurriedly.Â
Scarlett moved to the fridge.
She stared at the contents with a kind of misery that told you how hungry she was.
Her expectation that youâd have known to prepare lunch was unreasonable, but you still felt awful.
âIâm sorry.â You squeaked out before she left again.Â
Scarlett gave you a wry smile, it didnât meet her eyes.Â
âIâm fat enough already.â She shrugged, nodding down at the bump.
Your chest felt hollow with her joke, her final acknowledgement of the pregnancy.Â
Colin Jost answered the call immediately. This was not surprising. There were fourteen missed calls from him on Scarlettâs phone.Â
âScarlett.â He sounded relieved.Â
âThis is Scarlettâs assistant.â You cut in immediately, not wanting there to be any confusion.Â
You arranged for the boxes to be collected that afternoon by his own assistant.Â
Impossibly, Colin had sounded tenser than Scarlett had. Guilt had dripped from his words and you didnât want to imagine why.
.
You were dismissed when Scarlett next left her office.Â
This time, you hovered at the foot of the stairs. Scarlett was notably ungainly as she walked down them, hand gripping the railing.Â
Your heart caught in your mouth with a panicked premonition of her falling. Scarlett was very pregnant. Her centre of balance was clearly off.Â
You moved to climb the stairs, ready to help before you could think it through.Â
Scarlett froze midway down.Â
Her eyes flashed dangerously at your presumption.
Cautiously, you backed down from the stairs.
âMy daughter will be home soon.â She informed you, in the same blunt tone as earlier. âYou can go now.â
You nodded silently, not admitting that youâd snuck a look at her schedule whilst her phone was unlocked.Â
Scarlett gave a careful sigh then. You glanced up at her, still several steps above you on the staircase.Â
âI should have been more prepared for today.â She admitted suddenly, shifting slightly with the discomfort of standing. âIâll call you in the morning.â
âOkay.â You said simply, not sure where you stood at the end of your first day.
You left the house. You ignored curious texts from friends wondering about your new mysterious job. You ignored the fact that, all things considered, your new boss had not been fair to you at all.
Instead, you wished desperately that youâd been brave enough to insist on making her dinner.
That night in bed, you stared up at your ceiling, trying to imagine what the next day would bring.
The next morning, with not nearly enough sleep, you found out.
.
It did not take you long to become good at your job. If you were being honest, this was because you thought of little else.
Your job had two main parts.Â
The things you were asked to do.Â
The things you were not asked to do.Â
You excelled at the first but you lived for the second.
Scarlettâs calendar was colour coded within the first week. You parsed through various scheduled appointments, altering as many as you could so they didnât overlap with her time with her daughter.Â
You didnât expect recognition for it. You lived for the small smile Scarlett gave when she checked her phone and saw the afternoon clear yet again.
Her favourite lunch was chicken salad. Soon enough, you couldâve prepared it in your sleep.Â
Scarlett never thanked you directly.Â
You didnât need her to. Her voice softened towards you. You thought about it at night. You thought about a lot of things you shouldnât.
.
You never touched Scarlett.Â
Not that you were expecting to.Â
A flush crawled up your neck every morning just from looking at her. You couldnât get used to being close to someone so beautiful.
But, you didnât even touch Scarlett in passing. You brought her lunch up to her office every day. Every day, she would lean subtly away from you as you put the plate on her desk.Â
You would hear her breath catch in discomfort. She radiated tension at your proximity.
You tried not to let it bother you. You hoped desperately that she couldnât see your crush, even though it felt painted on your skin.
.
And then, one morning, Scarlett met you impatiently at the front door. Her hair was tied back neatly. You understood the visual clues immediately. She had a professional meeting scheduled soon. You remembered her talking about potential investors the day before.
âI have a call this morning.â Scarlett confirmed, matter of factly. âIâm already late and I need you to take notes.âÂ
You nodded, eyes widening in surprise. This was not usual. Scarlettâs office door stayed shut for most of the day, and you didnât disturb her when it was closed.
Scarlett turned to hurry up the stairs, making you immediately nervous. Your hand hovered secretly at the small of her back as you walked a half step behind her.Â
She handed you a notebook when you reached her office. Her fingers dragged over the back of your hand. Scarlett went very still. You forgot to breathe.Â
She turned back to her desk and you caught the pink flush to her cheeks.
Longing burned in the pit of your stomach. The back of your hand was seared with her fingerprints.Â
When the call began, you sat to the side of her desk, just out of sight.
You realised quickly why Scarlett had implored you to sit in. Distracted didnât cover it. She couldnât sit still. You watched her fidget in her seat for thirty minutes, barely remembering to nod at the right moments.Â
Your attention stayed on her as you wrote out your notes.Â
Discomfort was to be expected. You tried to remind yourself that it was inevitable. Scarlett was only becoming more pregnant.Â
You watched her subtle winces as she continued to readjust herself in the office chair.Â
There was an inevitable date approaching that neither of you had discussed. Scarlett hadnât confirmed a thing, but you were sure she had entered her third trimester now.Â
The call ended at last.Â
Scarlettâs focus turned to you immediately.Â
âIâm hungry.â She informed you pointedly. Her words took you by surprise. She never acknowledged the meals you were preparing for her. Sheâd never commented about the dinners youâd begun to leave stacked in her fridge before you left.
âOkay.â You agreed, waiting for her to stand first.Â
Scarlett looked back at you, impatiently.Â
There was an awkward silence before you realised she wanted you to leave first. You exited quickly, staring at the floor in embarrassment.
.
It didnât take long to prepare a snack in the kitchen.Â
You focused on the task angrily, wishing you were brave enough to ask the questions that were burning inside you.Â
Youâd been in this job long enough now and still every conversation was stilted and formal.Â
Scarlett was very cautious about what others could see. Nobody in her family even seemed to know she was pregnant. Or at least, no one was checking in.Â
You could see the cracks in the cold facade of it all. The brief pain on her face when she rejected an incoming call.Â
You wished you could see all of her, not just the cracks.Â
The obvious discomfort youâd noticed today felt like the final straw.
.
Still, you watched her descend the stairs surreptitiously.
Every few steps, Scarlett paused and her eyes squeezed tight with pain. Once, she pressed her knuckles hard against the small of her back.Â
You didnât say anything when she entered the kitchen.Â
Her eyes were determined, the challenge in the tilt of her chin always present. Her hands were carefully at her sides. She walked straighter than ever.Â
You didnât move away from the counter, blocking her path to the plate youâd prepared.
You tilted your chin in an imitation of her own expression. Irritation crossed Scarlettâs face as she met your gaze. After a moment, her hand moved subtly to press against the small of her back again.Â
âHow can I help?â You asked, quietly but firmly. Scarlett startled at your question.
You looked pointedly down at her hand.
âItâs nothing.â Scarlett defended. Her hand dropped from her lower back. She stood straighter. You dropped your eyes to the floor at her tone, heat crawled up your neck.
It wasnât nothing.Â
You were getting sick of this. Renewed strength brought your eyes back up to meet hers.Â
âHow can I help?â You repeated your words to her calmly. You tilted your chin again in defiance, it was more demand than question.
You stared at each other for a long time.
Scarlettâs attention flitted to the snack that youâd prepared. Suddenly, it was her who was looking down at the ground.
You watched as the cracked pieces of her broke entirely.Â
She stretched her hand out, leaning against the counter and relieving the pressure on her back.
âPlease.â She whispered, admitting everything.Â
You stepped forward. Your hand touched her back gently, unsurely. Scarlettâs breath hitched.
âLower.â She whispered, something almost humiliated in her tone.Â
You moved your hand obediently.
Scarlett moaned between clenched teeth when you found the spot.
Slowly, but surely, you pressed the heel of your hand against her back.Â
Scarlett gave a strangled whimper, leaning automatically into your touch. You moved the pressure in a slow circle, trying to ease out the pain.Â
Scarlett covered her mouth with her hand, muffling the noise. Her eyes were closed, but you saw a tear slip down her cheek.
When Scarlett turned around a few minutes later, she did not look like the woman youâd been working for.Â
Defeat tangled with embarrassment in her expression.Â
You watched her unsurely, not knowing what to say.Â
Her voice cracked.Â
âIâm just so tired.â She admitted, purposefully avoiding your stare.
.
Touching her now was easier.Â
You took her hand, soft and warm in yours. It felt perfectly weighted. Gently, you led her to the sofa.Â
Scarlett had never sat on it. Not whilst you were here. She gripped your arm suddenly as she lowered herself carefully down onto it. Shame tinted her cheeks pink. You understood abruptly that she would need a hand up from it too.Â
Annoyance flared at her relentless stubbornness.
Scarlett exhaled shakily at the relief of a comfortable seat.
She looked over and caught the frustration written across your expression.
âY/Nâ She murmured lowly, uncertainly. A shiver went down your spine at the way she said your name.Â
âYouâre still hungry.â You said quietly, getting back to your feet. Scarlettâs face burned with embarrassment as she watched you leave.Â
When you returned, she was sitting as straight as she could on the soft sofa. Despite your frustration, it made your lips quirk upwards.Â
You placed her plate down on the coffee table.Â
You didnât speak as she ate. Instead, you played nervously with your fingers. You tried to find the right words.Â
You waited until you heard the plate thud back against the table.Â
âI want to take care of you.â You whispered at last, staring at your hands. âI know itâs my job. But, I want to do it too.âÂ
Scarlett didnât speak. Your strange confession hung in the space between you.
Your skin tingled and your heart jumped erratically in your chest. You took a chance, glancing over at her. Scarlettâs eyes closed for a brief moment. You recognised the expression on her face. She was also trying to find the right words.
âIt always.â She started unsurely. âIt always goes wrong.â
Your head tilted in confusion. Scarlett gave a sad smile.Â
You looked down at her belly and she followed your gaze.Â
âIâm sick of being disappointed.â Scarlettâs voice caught, tangling with a raw pain. Her hand curved across her front. The action was stilted, as if her stomach was still unfamiliar to her.Â
âBut, itâs me.â She whispered, voice cracking open now. Her eyes glanced up at the ceiling, and you watched them fill with tears. âItâs always my fault.â
You wanted to help. An ache rippled through you.
You touched her leg. Scarlett froze.
She caught your gaze, and your intention too.Â
She shook her head suddenly, you saw the tears slip down her cheeks.
âDonât pretend.â She whispered now, almost begging. âJust, please, donât pretend to care.â
âI donât know how.â You murmured.
You leaned closer, giving yourself up to the want of her.Â
Her lips were fuller than you expected. You could taste the salt on them.
Scarlettâs fingers were shaky as she touched the nape of your neck.Â
Shivers rippled down your spine.
You kissed her harder and she responded in kind.Â
Scarlettâs fingers tangled in your hair now. Her grip was sudden and tight. You felt her desperation in the curl of her fingers.
Blindly, you searched for her other hand, resting at her side. Already, the warmth of it was familiar. You held it tightly in yours, Scarlett exhaled slowly.
You leaned back to look at her. The flush of her cheeks doused you with affection and arousal.Â
âScarlett.â You said unthinkingly, enjoying the sound of her name on your tongue.Â
She didnât look up at her name, still focused on your lips.Â
âYouâre perfect.â She murmured, trailing a finger along your cheek and down the side of your neck. You wondered if she could feel your jumping pulse. âYouâre not going to stay.âÂ
Anger flared through you now. Indignity at being judged by other peopleâs mistakes.
You moved to kiss her collarbone harshly. Your teeth stung her skin as you nipped and sucked. Scarlett moaned into your ear. She fidgeted on the sofa as you left wet marks across her exposed skin. She grabbed at the sofa cushion to the side of her.Â
âI just want to help.â You murmured determinedly, planting one last kiss just below her ear. Scarlett whined, her head tilting back.
You moved to kneel on the floor.Â
You settled between her legs, fingers tugging down her pants. Everything felt predetermined. Maybe because youâd dreamed it. Maybe because it was always going to happen.
You looked up at her as you spread her legs. Scarlett was looking down at you, her pupils had dilated entirely. Everything felt right. You had wanted to be here for so long.Â
You dragged your nails up her bare thighs.Â
âThank you.â Scarlett rasped and your heart clenched at the strange insecurity of it. You wanted to be here, you didnât know how to tell her again.
Instead, you licked along her cunt. You could taste her already, coating your tongue. Scarlett couldnât reach you from around her stomach. Your eyes flitted up to see her nails digging into the sofa cushion. Her head tilted back against the sofa, eyes closing.
She mumbled something quietly to herself. Annoyance continued to flicker inside you. You wanted to hear her.
You pressed your tongue hard against her clit and made her scream instead.Â
When you were done. When sheâd fidgeted against your wandering tongue. When you could taste the sweet tang of her in your mouth. When you would never think of anything else ever again. When she was trembling. You looked back up at her.
Scarlettâs hair was mussed, her mouth was parted as she panted.Â
Scarlett was undone.Â
You kissed her clit lightly, giving her one last aftershock before you slid her pants back up her legs. She acquiesced limply, still not quite in the room.
You sat beside her on the sofa, enjoying the weird domesticity of her afterglow. You rested your head against her shoulder feeling her chest move with each ragged breath.Â
Your heart was still pounding beneath your ribs, trying to adjust to the new way the world was hung.
After a minute, you felt Scarlett tense again. You knew she was going to speak.Â
âWhat now?â She asked bluntly, words purposefully calm. You lifted your head and read the challenge in the tilt of her chin. You knew instinctively that she was daring you to leave, readying herself for it even now. A strange, soft affection built in your chest. You realised that you would always win her dares.
You took her hand in yours. You weaved your fingers together and held tight. The warmth of her skin trickled inside you.Â
You didnât speak. Neither did she.Â
You watched her thumb rub circles against your knuckles, enraptured.
.
(Some time later)
.
âIt wonât stop.â Scarlett looked down at her phone cradled in her lap. Her voice was tight.
The phone buzzed in her hand, over and over as the news stories rolled in. You sat next to her, on the edge of her bed. You touched her very rounded stomach, still covered by the dress sheâd worn to the earlier meeting.Â
Even now, you found yourself hesitant to touch her, for so long sheâd been your boss.Â
Scarlett gave you a searing look. You werenât sure if she regretted it. The public announcement of you. The personal assistant turned girlfriend. The implications for her, her sexuality, her career, her expected child.Â
Her phone kept buzzing as more implications rolled in. You watched the headlines appear on the screen, one after another.
You watched Scarlettâs forehead crease with worry. Your stomach clenched, the moment felt unbearable.
You touched her shoulder, your fingers slipping under her sleeve. Her skin was warm. Scarlettâs breath caught.Â
âYouâre all I think about.â You told her, letting your mind cloud with familiar want.Â
Scarlettâs lips parted. She watched you, something still unsure in her eyes. You scratched her skin lightly. Her eyes closed.
Her phone slipped in her grip and the buzzing became louder. Her gaze returned to it.
âI canât ignore everyone. Itâs not polite.â She snapped suddenly.Â
With confidence you rarely had, you moved to stand in front of her. You pulled at the phone in her grip, Scarlett released it with unexpected obedience. Maybe she could see your mood better than you could feel it.Â
You let the constant tug between your souls pull you forward. You leaned down, letting your lips find each other. You pressed yourself against her front, feeling her bump brush against you.Â
The air was thick with anticipation. You slipped the vibrating phone beneath the skirt of her dress.
âI have no interest in being polite or heterosexual.â You whispered against her ear. Scarlett gave a soft cry and her hand twisted the fabric of your shirt.
You pressed the phone higher, letting it sit against the familiar cotton of her underwear. Scarlett moaned. She gripped your shoulder with sudden fierceness, holding you in place.Â
You moved your fingers over the elastic of her panties, desperate to feel her. The vibrating phone stayed cradled against your palm, pressed to her.
Scarlett was slick against your skin. She started to whine, her neck falling back as she held you tighter. You kissed her neck, letting your teeth graze her skin.
Your fingers moved inside her with every vibration, Scarlett jolted against you. Her eyes were screwed tight, her cheeks flushed. She called your name, over and over.Â
Her walls tightened around you at last and she screamed into the room.Â
In the moments after, she lay back against the bed. You slid the dress up to kiss her exposed stomach. Scarlettâs breathing was still heavy as she reached for your hand, slipping her fingers between your wet ones.Â
You kissed damp cotton and whispered a secret there, just to make her body twitch.

Lured In By Her Song
Vox is Starting to fall for the mysterious newly dead popstar readerđ
Everyone in hell adored you which was the only reason Velvet agreed to a non-soul contract, she knew she had to get you on the Vees team you were too much of a prize. She was right of course.
All the numbers off the charts views and likes and shares, sales of anything Velvet put you in sold out, and when you went on Voxs show for an interview, ratings skyrocketed. Everyone wanted the gossip about your ex-spouse who you supposedly killed and Velvet was ecstatic with the profits.
So were you. Ever since you were in the vees protection you heard virtually nothing from said ex-spouse. You eventually stopped looking around corners and slept peacefully at night. As peacefully as you could in hell. Vox had been right too having a phone in your hands, having social media brought a sort of familiar comfort. He was happy you were using it too.
Of course, all phones have GPS you knew that. What you didn't know is that the tech overlord was specifically spying on you and had modified the phone he gave you. Totally for business reasons and totally not because he was nosy and wanted to see what such a pretty little thing like you was getting up to on a regular basis.
Maybe this is what Velvet was talking about he thought. He found out she had decided to officially call your fans "sailors" since sailors get lured by a sirens song. Clever, and as the days went by he found out, true. Something enticed him with you. He wanted to know your secrets. Once again only for blackmailing purposes totally not because he was genuinely interested. You were too kind to be in hell probably second only to Princess Charlie herself. However, he knew what you did. And you had refused to sign a soul contract, you were peculiar indeed.
You awaken one particularly early hellish morning to a buzz on your phone
-Ms. You have a new scheduled shoot time on Voxs floor for the music video in 2 hours. Ok ty, I'll head over now then- -The car will be waiting for you miss
It was your new assistant the vees had hired for you, she was quite nice, although her message did make you wonder. You thought they had gotten all the shoots they needed for this week but maybe they forgot something. You shrug and head downstairs to find your driver, also courtesy of the Vees.
Meanwhile, Vox waited in the studio, he hadn't gotten much time to talk to you since you arrived, and as mentioned earlier he was intrigued. The only things he knew about you were from social media and from the interview he did when you first signed. He figured he could sit in on the shoot to make sure everything was done right and watch you all at the same time. His thoughts come to a halt when the clicking of your shoes enters the room followed by your voice. "Good morning Kitty, good morning Nex, thank you, Gigi." Vox for a moment thought he was alive because there was no way in hell (quite literally) that you were being polite to all the assistants.
You finally catch a glimpse of Vox sitting next to the camera crew on set, catching you off guard. Doesn't this man have an empire to run? He surely has better things to do than be here.
"Uh good morning Vox, sir?" you say trying to hide your confusion.
"So glad you're on time, yes some of our less-than-capable demons didn't get the shot Velv and I quite wanted last week. Don't worry we took care of them but unfortunately, that means we must reshoot it but you're more than happy to do that right?" his signature fake PR voice oozed.
You hesitantly nod. "It's not a problem at all that's what I'm here for" You give a half smile, it was way too early for this.
"That's what I like to hear, ok everyone places were redoing shots 22-30" He enthusiastically yells out, as he then places a hand on your back and leads you to the set. Being this close to him for a split second made you realize how tall he was now. You basically were trapped against him. In the brief moment before he let go pushing you in front of the lights, you could feel that he faintly buzzed as well, a warm hum was always coursing through his body that you could feel from his hand that was placed on your back
You didn't have any more time to contemplate it however as you snapped out of your thoughts.
Three, Two, One, Action!
And boy when that camera turned on. Shit you could dance, Vox thought. Calling off his morning meeting was totally worth it now as he sat watching the two hour shoot.
"Cut! That's A Wrap, For Real This Time!" Some demon behind the camera shouts.
Vox walks up to you as an assistant hands you a drink, you're still huffing and puffing from the toll dancing took on your body. "Ah sir, is there anything else you need?" you ask him still wondering why he was here in the first place.
"Just Vox is fine doll, and you have done well for the day, we don't want to overwork our little trophy star. However, with the vague terms and circumstances of your contract, I would like to have a meeting with you, for business matters." It's that heavy sweetly fake tone again.
You hesitate but then speak "Of course I understand sir"
"Vox" he corrects you then continues. "Good I'll have my assistant set a time and have them message you." He smirks and then bids his farewell zapping through the filming equipment to who knows where.
Your mind wanders to the strange circumstances of the day as your driver takes you back to your apartment. Why was Vox himself there? You were under Velvets contract why does he want a meeting? and why did you feel a strange sense of comfort when he had touched you?...

I've been posting rando fic ideas here and there on my BlueSky, and forgot to transpose them over here, so here they all are in one go (Sonadow & Shadilver)
What if...Marine Biologist AU, where Shadow works at an aquarium, & notices Sonic there /alot/ (because a therapist suggested immersion therapy, but he wasn't ready to go swimming. A giant fishtank that went over his head seemed like a good start). Shadow thinks it's because Sonic is /really/ into fish, so he starts info dumping on Sonic about his personally favorite fish. Sonic doesn't have the heart to tell the truth, & winds up with far more fish knowledge than he ever hoped to know. Eventually they go on a coffee date at the aquarium cafe đ
~
Sad Peter Pan AU, where Sonic is Peter, his friends are the lost boys, green hills is Neverland, & Maria & Shadow are Wendy & John. Maria is full of wonder at Neverland, while Shadow keeps insisting they need to go home, since Gerald will be worried about them, & Maria needs her medication. Sonic keeps chiming in that everything will be fine, that this is /Neverland/ after all. They go on a grand little adventure & defeat Eggman (Captain Hook), & everything seems to be going well. Even Shadow starts to enjoy himself & believe that, perhaps, Sonic is right, everything will be fine.
But then Maria falls down, & Shadow realizes it's well past her usual medication timing. She faints, Shadow panics & Sonic is bewildered as to how Maria can still be so ill when they're in Neverland. He takes them home after much convincing from Shadow, & promises to visit them soon.
Unfortunately, Sonic is forgetful, time moves differently in Neverland, & years pass in the real world before he remembers to go visit. He finds Shadow older & bitter. Maria passed away from her illness (by no fault of missing her meds, but Sonic still feels guilt over his flippant dismissal), Gerald has been put into a home, & Shadow is living alone in their old family home. Sonic offers to stay with him, & Shadow refuses, but Sonic sticks around anyway to try & bring some joy & wonder back into Shadows life. Unfortunately, that means he begins to forget Neverland the longer he stays.
Realizing what's happening when Shadow asks after Tails & Sonic doesn't know who he's talking about, he insists Sonic go back to Neverland. Unfortunately, by then Sonic can no longer run fast or fly, since his memories of how to are gone. As such, Shadow feels obligated to allow Sonic to stay.
Time passes, Sonic & Shadow slowly fall in love...Until one day Tails shows up to take Sonic home. Sonic is confused, but Shadow insists he go home. After all, Neverland can't possibly be Neverland without Peter Pan. They tearfully part, & although Shadow is left with a lighter heart, and more appreciation for the little things, he passes through life quietly, sadly...Until he, too, passes away. One day, Sonic returns to see how Shadow is doing, only to find nothing but a gravestone left behind.
ALT ENDING - Shadow goes with Sonic to Neverland and they live happily ever after beating up Eggman and exchanging kisses every now and then.
~
TikTok/Booktok just fed me a great office!AU idea for Shadilver, wherein Shadow is a grumpy asshole CEO that everyone is terrified of because he is notorious for firing people on the spot.
Silver gets hired as his assistant, & realizes after a few weeks that as long as he keeps people away from Shadow's door, and gatekeeps phonecalls, he can get away with doing virtually whatever he wants, as long as the rest of his work is done.
The rest of the office gets suspicious of him when they notice him knitting at his desk. Rumors start to fly that they're sleeping together, while Silver has barely had more than a handful of five minute conversations with Shadow. He gets flustered when a coworker confronts him about /how/ he's managing to get away with 'slacking off'. Shadow is on his way out to a meeting & overhears, quickly coming to defend the best secretary he's had in years

INTERACTION GUIDE.
a (hopefully concise) guide meant to assist with plotting, the creation of starters, askbox responses, and general replies
index.
locations the boutique & atelier abilities [and disability] other
LOCATIONS.
lourdes will visit and attend art galleries/shows, theaters (of the live variety), and most other high end, boujee sort of activities. he is only rarely in the boutique, and he does not assist customers, not in any way anyone would want. if you have another location in mind but are unsure, please ask! due to his mysophobia and general snobbishness, there are many places that he simply will not go.
THE BOUTIQUE & ATELIER.
lourdes is rarely in the boutique, but he is there occasionally. he is more commonly in the atelier. consultations for couture pieces are by appointment only and will be conducted in the atelier. your muse may potentially work in either the boutique or atelier, but i would prefer to discuss first just to make sure everything fits!
the most important thing to understand about how he runs the fashion house and his level of involvement is that he, of course, is at the top of the chain of command, so to speak. he does not deal with low level tasks and issues. he does not manage the boutique, he does not assist customers in the boutique when he is there, and he does not do much hiring at all, unless it's a more artisanal position, but he would not be the one to approach about it.
ABILITIES [AND DISABILITY].
lourdes has both mobility issues (primarily weakness in his legs, mainly the left, the knee being the most problematic area. he also has trouble with balance), and low energy/fatigue potential. walking long distances is not an option. he will rarely go on walks alone, but they are short, and he does not go far from his home. he rarely uses stairs, if it can be avoided, especially if it's more than one or two (which can still be an issue, too). his home has two elevators. he can barely walk at all on soft/uneven ground (grass, sand, etc). if you have any questions about how his disability may affect something in your reply, please feel free to ask!
he experiences essential tremors in his limbs, but it is most visible in his hands; this mean that they shake whenever the muscles are engaged, ie, whenever he moves or uses them. at rest, they're still. this, along with weakness and occasional numbness in his hands, makes it difficult or impossible for him to perform many tasks.
he is physically weak. he will not get into physical altercations. if someone attempts to physically harm him, or he feels that they may, he will either psychically compel them not to, or set them on fire via pyrokinesis, so please bear this in mind for interactions. i will always message before writing anything that affects your muse in this way. he generally avoids using these abilities, and will probably never use them on someone he cares about.
OTHER.
lourdes rarely (virtually never) feeds directly from humans. exceptions would be men that seem clean enough and are at least somewhat attractive to him, but he would generally still prefer that they be freshly washed first.
he rarely goes anywhere alone. he is almost always accompanied by at least one familiar, if not two or three. they typically keep their distance, and only assist when directed to, except for certain things that they know to do without being told. the most notable tasks they will perform are driving, opening doors, and carrying lourdes's coat/jacket/cape/etc. you're free to utilize them in threads. bear in mind that they will not hover closely when not assisting, as lourdes finds this annoying and intrusive. additionally, your muse could be one of his familiars.
he is extremely touch averse due to his mysophobia. he will react poorly to being touched by those he doesn't know well, doesn't trust, or doesn't like. he is only tolerant of touch from people he likes or finds attractive, but there are still instances that may bother him. his concern about coming into contact with filth is so deep that he is reluctant to sit down anywhere outside of his own home unless he knows the seat has been thoroughly disinfected.
#interaction guide.đĽ#idk how helpful this is!#some of this is in his dossier#i just really wanna hammer it in#some of this is implied by the dossier but not outright stated so i understand if it's not something people would have thought of

i like how both El*n M*sk and DT have both directly screwed me (and my new small business) over in light of their recent awfulness.
I'm starting a niche jobs board for PhDs transitioning out of academia. the project has been operating as a free resource for years, primarily on Twitter. And I am hoping to convert much of my Twitter following to using my new jobs website, which was supposed to launch this week.
But since the election (and the nazi salute) I've lost a significant amount of my Twitter following in protest against EM (i.e. people deleting their profiles). Which is probably good for the world & I don't resent the people who left - but if EM hadn't bought Twitter to avoid being convicted of market manipulation, because he doesn't know how to SHUT THE FUCK UP, I wouldn't be having this problem.
AND the law firm I hired to help me create my website Terms & Conditions is delayed in getting that to me because they have 2 focuses: small business start-ups AND LGBTQ legal aid (they help trans folks with legal gender transition, and stuff like that). That's actually why I chose them. And since these stupid executive orders, they've been swamped by clients inquiries for assistance.
And again, I don't at all resent the people seeking the aid. They absolutely need it and it IS more important than my website launch date. But if DT wasn't being such a massive turd, I wouldn't be having THIS problem either.
My pain is MINISCULE compared to a lot of people who have suffered and are going to suffer a lot worse because of these absolute garbage dump human beings running our country. But it's just ironic that even though my business has virtually NOTHING to do with the changing gov't policy directly, I'm being indirectly subverted by the trickle-down effects of this.

How is AI transforming the recruitment process in 2025?

Picture this: You're sipping your morning coffee, scrolling through job applications, and within minutes, you've identified the top 10 candidates from a pool of 500 resumes. Sounds like magic?
Welcome to 2025, where artificial intelligence has turned this fantasy into everyday reality for recruiters worldwide. The hiring landscape has shifted dramatically, and if you're still manually sorting through CVs, you might as well be using a typewriter in the smartphone era.
The Smart Screening Revolution
Gone are the days when HR teams spent countless hours reading through every single resume. Modern AI resume screening software has become the ultimate hiring assistant, analyzing candidate profiles with superhuman speed and accuracy.
These intelligent systems can evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit within seconds, transforming what used to be a week-long process into a matter of hours.
The technology doesn't just scan for keywords anymore. Today's advanced algorithms understand context, recognize transferable skills, and even assess personality traits through language patterns.
It's like having a seasoned recruiter with photographic memory working 24/7.
Beyond the Buzzwords: Real Impact
The transformation goes deeper than just faster screening. AI is fundamentally changing how companies approach talent acquisition.
Predictive analytics now help organizations forecast which candidates are most likely to succeed in specific roles, reducing turnover rates by up to 40%.
Video interview analysis has evolved too. AI systems can now evaluate communication skills, confidence levels, and even detect potential red flags through facial expressions and speech patterns. While this might sound like science fiction, it's happening right now in major corporations across the globe.
The Bias-Busting Game Changer
One of the most significant advantages of AI in recruitment is its potential to reduce unconscious bias. Traditional hiring often falls victim to human prejudices based on names, photos, or educational backgrounds.
Smart recruitment tools focus purely on skills and qualifications, creating a more level playing field for all candidates.
However, it's worth noting that AI systems are only as unbiased as the data they're trained on.
Forward-thinking companies are actively working to ensure their algorithms promote diversity rather than perpetuate existing inequalities.
The Numbers Game: Efficiency Meets Precision
The statistics speak volumes about AI's impact on modern recruitment. Companies using intelligent hiring solutions report 50% faster time-to-hire and 60% improvement in candidate quality.
The applicant tracking system has evolved from a simple database to a sophisticated decision-making partner.
Natural language processing (NLP) has revolutionized how these systems understand resumes and job descriptions.
Instead of rigid keyword matching, modern platforms can interpret meaning, context, and even industry-specific jargon.
This advancement means better matches between candidates and positions.
The Human Touch in an AI World
Despite all this technological advancement, the human element remains irreplaceable.
AI handles the heavy lifting of initial screening and data analysis, but final hiring decisions still require human judgment, emotional intelligence, and cultural assessment.
The most successful companies in 2025 are those that have found the perfect balance between AI efficiency and human insight.
They use technology to eliminate tedious tasks while preserving the personal connection that makes great hiring decisions.
Looking Ahead: What's Next?
As we move further into 2025, expect to see even more sophisticated AI features. Real-time skills assessment, virtual reality job simulations, and AI-powered salary negotiations are already being tested by innovative companies.
Platforms like Scan2hire are leading this transformation, offering comprehensive solutions that streamline the entire recruitment process.
From initial resume parsing to final candidate ranking, these tools are setting new standards for what's possible in talent acquisition.
The future belongs to organizations that embrace these technological advances while maintaining their commitment to fair, human-centered hiring practices.
Those who adapt quickly will gain a significant competitive advantage in attracting top talent.
The Bottom Line
AI isn't just changing recruitmentâit's revolutionizing it completely. Companies that leverage these tools effectively are finding better candidates faster, reducing costs, and creating more positive experiences for everyone involved in the hiring process.
The question isn't whether AI will transform recruitment, but how quickly your organization will adapt to this new reality.
The future of hiring is here, powered by Scan2hire and similar innovative solutions, and it's more exciting than ever.

How to Delegate Effectively:

Identify repetitive tasks that donât require your expertise (admin, customer service, content creation, etc.).
Hire skilled contractors or virtual assistants to take tasks off your plate.
Use project management tools like Asana or Trello to streamline team communication.
