as an indian person, my favourite thing is seeing what people who aren't from here have done with my food; i'll go to an indian restaurant in a random corner of the world and they're putting oregano in their palak paneer or a balsamic wash on their naan and it's like "yes good tell me how you folded your culture into mine and came out with something new and lovely, we're holding hands across oceans bestie"

i drew this last night to play around with new ways of coloring/rendering with gradient maps and overlay layers :33 i really like it actually!! it was a lot of fun :DDD and also a small bit of lore and diving more into slasher’s memory issues and depersonalization 🤭🤭 oh how i love using him as my therapy LMAOO

I think that most of the gang can cook. Just not well. Someone will make spaghetti that by all accounts should be fine but is somehow… chewy? Like is it technically edible? Yes. Will it be absolutely disgusting and horrible to eat? Yes.

My soup game is truly unparalleled. It is my preferred medium as a cook. Baking’s iffy (baking isn’t just chemistry, it’s situational chemistry) roasting large cuts of meat is impractical as a single-person household (I can’t eat five pounds of beef!) and I’m not prepared to commit to making jarred preserves (great way to kill yourself and lots of other people, if you fuck it up?) but my god, I can make seventeen excellent kinds of soup in my sleep.

have been thinking about professor sol even. professor bufo with no clearly discernable lesson plan. sol bufo ostensibly martial arts professor who spent two weeks running a yoga and meditation program and shows up to the next class with crochet hooks for everyone. professor bufo who is technically supposed to be assigning grades to students but hasnt given anyone less than an A because "i think they worked really hard and they did a great job :)" (referring to the ugliest and most malformed pot holder anyone has laid eyes upon in their life). professor bufo who is on his way to cluelessly kickstart the sexual awakening of about half the cohort of the academys new students. sol bufo adjunct professor who is gone half the year and his first class back is so immediately and easily baited into going into a long tangent about how cool his friends are. sol who is pretty sure hes easily the most useless professor on campus and almost cries when he sees his little desk overflowing with thank you notes at the end of the year. professor bufo absolutely fucking gloriously hot in the tightest little sweater vest because there were faculty complaints when he wore a crop top to class.
