Now, type the following command to access the platform folder and press Enter.

cd c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform

Enter the following command to identify the latest version of the antivirus command tool and press Enter.

Enter the following command to access the folder with the latest version and press Enter.

cd 4.18.2009.7-0

In the command prompt, replace “4.18.2009.7-0" with the latest version of the folder available on your device.

Now, you need to type the following command to scan a specific folder and press Enter

mpcmdrun -Scan -ScanType 3 -File "C:\PATH\TO\FOLDER"

Now, in the command, replace "C:\PATH\TO\FOLDER with the path to the folder you’d like to scan.

For instance: notice that this command scans all the contents in the “Files” folder.

mpcmdrun -Scan -ScanType 3 -File "C:\Users\username\Downloads\files"

Now, type the following command to scan a specific file and press Enter.

mpcmdrun -Scan -ScanType 3 -File "C:\PATH\TO\FILE.TXT"

Now, while staying in the command, replace "C:\PATH\TO\FILE.TXT" with the path to the folder you’d like to scan. For instance: this command scans the file names “image-1.jpg” inside the “files” folder:

mpcmdrun -Scan -ScanType 3 -File "C:\Users\username\Downloads\files\image-1.jpg"

Now, Microsoft Defender will scan the files. It may that once the file cleans, make sure you check the files for viruses because Windows may not notify once the file cleans.

Hi everyone! I made this tutorial for absolute beginners who are new to pirating things, and using this program as an example. It’s a really simple crack, so it’s good for people getting started.

This is a WINDOWS ONLY tutorial. Please do not ask for a Mac tutorial, you will not get a response. I do not use Apple products and have little to no familiarity with them. Also I believe this is 32-bit compatible, but I’m not sure.

This tutorial will be written in as plain English as I can manage. I am a cyber defense major, and I know not all these terms are “technical”. This is for those starting out with pirating.

DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! I take NO responsibility for you messing up your own computer. If you follow the instructions exactly how I say, you should be fine. Lastly, I am not tech support, I’m doing this for free. If you want me to do more than this, pay me. 1. Disable your antivirus, and I mean all of them. This includes your installed antivirus, and the antivirus that came with your computer. This download might come up as a “virus”. It is not. I have ran this program in Sandbox and scanned it. No viruses. It might display as a virus to your system, simply because it goes into your drive’s deeper files and edits them. Your computer/browser might detect this as a trojan horse and try to keep you from running it. If you run into those issues, use google.

2. Download the zip file provided called “Crack Files + Program”. Cracks, aka “medicines”, is what makes a program run at full capacity without you having to pay for it. It changes the Clip Studio files in your program files. It is not the same as the program itself, which is a separate download.

3. Download something to unzip the files. Think of the .zip file as a container, and the “unzipping” program as a pair of scissors to help you cut it open.

4. UNHOOK YOUR INTERNET. Do not skip this step. You must unhook your ethernet or turn off your wifi card or whatever you use. You don’t have to turn off your router, just make sure your computer cannot access the internet. If you don’t do this, there’s a big change of this failing.

5. Unzip the files to one folder on your desktop (google search how to unzip if you don’t know how to). Open the file. The very first thing you should see is a folder named “Crack” and a “Setup.exe”.

6. Run the Setup.exe to completion. Do NOT start the program when it asks you to, uncheck that box. The setup wizard will close.

7. Double click “Crack”. Here you will see “CLIP STUDIO PAINT” in all caps. You want to copy this entire folder. Ctrl+C or right click and hit “copy”. Then, you need to go into the drive you installed it in. This is usually “Local Disk (C:)”. When you get to your local drive, double click “Program Files”.

8. Then, double click “CELSYS”. Then, double click “CLIP STUDIO 1.5”. Then, you are going to paste the files into this drive. It will ask you if you are okay with overwriting the files. Click YES.

9. You have now placed the cracked files exactly where they need to be! Good job! We’re not done though. Make sure that internet is STILL off during this next step.

10. Launch “Clip Studio” from your desktop. There might be a loading screen. Let it load. If there’s an error from no internet, ignore it. On the left panel, there is “Clip Studio Paint”. Click it.

11. Now, it will lead you to a setup wizard to activate the program. It will initially fail, because it is trying to access the internet. Here’s the loophole, click offline activation.

12. Go back to the “Crack Files + Program” file I gave you, and run “offline activation – kg.exe” as administrator.

13. Generate a serial number by clicking “generate”. Copy and paste that into Clip Studio Paint’s license verification. It will give you a “License authentication key”.

14. It’s annoying, but you have to copy each box and paste them into the “License Auth Key” box in the “Clip Studio Paint EX v1.6.2 Keygen” one by one. Do not add spaces. Click generate when you are done, and the keygen will give you an “Authentication Key”.

15. Copy and paste this authentication key into Clip Studio Paint. Hit next.

Bam you’re done. If you’re using Windows 10 like me, you might get an error when you first try to startup the keygen, because window’s defender considers it a threat (like a dumbass). Just go to your settings and type in “windows defender settings”. Click on that. Then click Virus and Threat protection. Then, click “threat history”. It will show you the “HackTool:Win32/Keygen” file its quarantined. Just click the arrow and click “Restore”. It will be returned to your folder.

Everything should be activated when you’re done. Here’s what it looks like for me.

How To Remove Software Reporter Tool To Fix Google Chrome High CPU Usage?

Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers available right now. Since it includes all the necessary features, Chrome users accept the browser’s shortcomings rather than ditch it for browsers with fewer features.

What is the Google Chrome Software Reporter Tool?

Software Reporter Tool, part of the Google Chrome Clean-up tool, reports any add-on software that might try to interfere with the browser's working.

To achieve that, the software reporter tool frequently scans the PC for software and files that might be problematic for Google Chrome.

The browser then scans the results to determine if the user needs to be too aware of the software. Based on the results, Chrome then asks users to run the Chrome Cleanup Tool to remove any unwanted software.

Where is it?

The process can be located in the Windows task manager, under the Google Chrome process. Right-click on it and choose “Open File location” to access the source file.

You won’t always find the process in task manager since it’s not always on the go. Alternatively, you can directly find the Google Chrome Software Reporter Tool under the following path in Windows 10 –

C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\SwReporter\VERSION\software_reporter_tool.exe

Problem with software_reporter_tool.exe

Contrary to what some users might think, the software reporter tool is neither malware nor a virus. In fact, the source file located in the hard disk is digitally signed by Google with the file description as the Chrome Cleanup Tool.

However, as we all know, that’s not our only concern. Since the tool frequently scans the system, it has been associated with taking too much PC memory.

Moreover, many users have spotted software_reporter_tool causing slow gaming performance on their PC.

Lastly, many users have privacy concerns over the practice of scanning user’s files without their consent. Cumulate all the concerns, and you will find the right reasons to remove the tool entirely.

How to disable Google Chrome Software Reporter Tool?

Deleting the file or even the folder might seem like a good idea; however, it won’t do much. Google will automatically reintroduce the software in the next update of Google Chrome.

The best way to deal with the Chrome tool is to block the user permissions of the entire folder, stopping Google from accessing the “SwReporter” folder, ultimately restricting it to run the software reporter tool.

Here is how to stop Google from running software_reporter_tool.exe –

Go to the SwReporter folder located the system storage

Right-click on it and choose properties

Go to the Security tab — Click on Advance

Now select the option “Disable inheritance.”

Choose “Remove all inherited permissions from this object” in the new pop-up and hit OK.

If this process doesn’t work, here is an alternative one using the Group Policy Editor in Windows 10 –

Type regedit.exe in Windows Run top open the Registry 

Editor Paste the given location on the address bar “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome.”

Right-click on the Chrome key and select New > Dword (32-bit) Value.

Name it “ChromeCleanupReportingEnabled” and keep its value 0

If the exact address is not available, you can find the folder manually and keep on adding values as you proceed.

Should you remove the Software Reporter Tool?

The tool has never been a problem for me. Therefore the decision boils down to your personal preference. If you have singled out Chrome Software Reporter Tool Chrome as the source of your 100% disk usage, then go ahead and remove it. Otherwise, it’s wise to leave it untouched since the tool is actually helpful in removing harmful software. You can manually use the tool by running “Clean up computer” in the Google Chrome “Reset and clean up” settings.

New framework seems to have performance issues

This version of ABP for the new Safari framework unfortuantely seems to kill performance on my computers. Maybe it’s partially related to them being a bit older (one is a Mid 2011 Mini, the other is a 2012 iMac), but with ABP enabled I can’t even open a new tab/window and type a URL into the bar and expect Safari to accept the input without having to hold down the return key until it goes or wait a minute after opening a new tab or window. I also noticed that using Twitter was jumpy and lagged even with simple typing, it felt like all the dynamic content it relies on was just struggling to be processed through whatever framework Apple is forcing. Hopefully the devloper can figure out the performance issues because it’s really, really bad now.

why isn’t this working?

I have ABP and it wasn’t perfect but worked fairly well for my needs. Recently, it simply disappeared. (I see someone else said that could be from the latest iOS update, but I don’t have that on my desktop yet). When I tried to reinstall, it showed me two boxes to check. The way I read it, if you checked the box that said you wanted the icon visible in the toolbar, it would be able to read sensitive information of all kinds on any page. What good is an app of any kind that allows for that?! As it was, with only the one box checked, it only blocked very few ads, and I was still getting requests from sites to be whitelisted without being able to fnd any way to do it. I’ve got all kinds of garage showing up on my Facebook page, and you guys have ruined what was a reasonable product. WHY?

Still works for me

Almost didn’t download the new version based on the recent reviews, however after looking at the other apps here that claim to be ad blockers I didn’t’t see too many alternatives. I decided to go ahead and get the new version and so far its pretty much the same as the old version, lots of ads blocked. I’m happy, just make sure you go through the simple set-up.

After much research, I understand the issue with Apple changing the rules on the devs so they had to build this app from scratch. Works well for me so far, except for one annoying problem. I use Yahoo mail and it's not hiding the ad that appears in the top line of the inbox even with unchecking the Acceptable Ads box, which is super annoying. I know the devs are watching these reviews, so if someone can point me to an extension or something that will fix that, I'd appreciate it. Was using AdGuard and it fixed that problem, but that app behaves like spyware and is constantly running in the background even after you close Safari.

synopsis: in which Jaemin and Haechan begin their pre-Halloween prank fest, and it all starts with Jeno and one of the oldest bait-and-switch tricks in the book. 

warning[s]: if you’re going to click on the link in the a/n below, wear headphones, and lower the volume. it’s kind of spooky, but you don’t need to look at it! it’s just what inspired this fic. and if you’re not going to click on it, and you’re curious about the basis of this little one-shot, then click here.

a/n: idk how many of you played this game when you were younger, but i did and so did my friends when we were young and it spread like a virus for a couple of months; this was some time back in 2008 or so. i use a couple of common gaming terms... let me know if they’re too confusing and i’ll add notes!

“Do you think Jeno knows?” Jaemin whispers as he and Haechan tiptoe towards Jeno’s room. The door isn’t open, but light spills out from beneath it, along with the sound of rapid typing.

Haechan considers it. “No way. The only one who said he’d seen it before was Johnny-hyung. He said it was really popular in America when he was young.”

“Okay, okay.” Jaemin raps on the door. “Yah, Jeno.”

Jeno doesn’t answer, but the keyboard clicking continues.

“Are you busy?”

“Yes,” comes the muffled reply, a minute or two later.

“Okay, we’re coming in!” Haechan announces, turning the doorknob. It isn’t locked, of course-- if it was, it would have been like broadcasting to everyone else that Jeno was doing something he didn’t want anyone else to see. And when they peek into his room, he’s sitting at his computer, one ear freed from his headset so that he hears when they come barreling in.

“What’s up, guys?” he says, eyes glued to his monitor. 

He’s deep into a game of PUBG, the zone pressing in on his character from behind, and 9 people left alive. Splatters of red cross his screen as the zone damages his health points, slowly depleting the white health bar at the bottom of his HUD. “I said I was busy.”

“You can pause,” Jaemin jokes, chuckling as he drapes an arm around his shoulders to watch.

Jeno blows a raspberry at him. “You mean I can go prone in a bush and hide.”

Jaemin titters. “Yeah, same thing.”

Jeno turns back to his game, and misses the grin that passes between Haechan and Jaemin as he does so. “Did you two just come in here to snoop, or did you need something?”

“Oh, yeah. Mark-hyung sent me something. I think you’d be interested in it.” Jaemin scrolls through his phone casually,  

Suddenly, scarlet fog covers the edges of Jeno’s field of vision on the screen as an enemy engages with him, muzzle flashing from across the landscape and tagging Jeno’s character. He yelps, and flops down in the bush behind a round bale of hay.

“Oh, oh, he’s right there.” Haechan points to a barely perceptible shadow behind a tree in the far distance, a dark smudge of pixels, and rests his chin on Jeno’s right shoulder. “185 North.”

Jeno scopes in with his sniper, but it’s too late-- a split moment later, his character goes limp, health bar completely gone, and the defeat screen pops up with thick yellow font declaring ‘Better Luck Next Time’, ranking him at 10th as a solo player.

“Ahhh, man.” He sits back in his chair and sighs.

“Look on the bright side,” Haechan says, pinching his cheeks, “now you can check out the thing.”

Jeno eyes them warily. “What thing?”

“Here, let me type it in.” Jaemin leans over him to access the keyboard, alt-tabbing out of the PUBG fullscreen and onto his desktop to open a Google Chrome window. He types in http://www.winterrowd.com/maze/ and hits enter. 

A plain website, looking a bit out of date-- there’s a link to a MySpace page on the bottom-- pops up, and Jeno scans its contents dubiously as he slides his headset off his head to rest around his neck, switching the audio output to speakers.

“What is this?” The neon cyan backdrop of The Maze Game is a little blinding, so he turns down the brightness of his monitor, wincing. Then he clicks Play. An upside-down L-shape appears on the screen, in the same cyan shade, but against a black backdrop, with a red square on the top right of the L marked ‘Exit’. “A maze game?”

“You can read, can’t you?” Jaemin sighs, pointing to the text box with instructions again. “It’s just a little game. Try it out.”

“Why don’t you?”

Haechan pats his head. “We already did. Now it’s your turn.”

“I feel like I’m being initiated into something I don’t want to be part of.”

“Nonsense. Now play.”

Jeno rolls his eyes, but takes up the mouse and begins to trace his way through the maze. The first is easy, and he moves his cursor to the exit. The second is just a bit harder, a simple S-squiggle.

Then the third level pops up, another S-squiggle, but with a tiny path at the very end leading to the exit, just barely larger than the pixel server as the marker for his cursor. He rolls his eyes and looks back at his friends. Jaemin is staring at his phone with a sly smirk, and Haechan looks on, shaking with silent laughter.

“Are you filming me?” Jeno inquires, raising a brow.

“As if. Keep playing. I want to see how you do.”

Jeno sighs and turns back to his monitor, but accidentally knocks his mouse aside, into the walls of the game, and it immediately goes back to the beginning screen.

“Ah, Jeno, look what you did!” Haechan scolds, clicking on Play again for him. “Come on, finish.”

“Okay, okay.” Jeno focuses on the tiny pixel, on keeping it from hitting the walls. “I got this.”

“Are you getting this?” Haechan mutters to Jaemin, covering his mouth with a hand. “I want to keep the footage.”

“Yeah, I’m recording,” Jaemin snickers.

Jeno’s cursor nears the exit, and he exhales slowly, willing his hand not to shake.

But before he can move into the red zone, the maze abruptly switches to a picture of a haggard, white-skinned woman with unkempt brown hair, scars lining her face, eyes milky and pupils contracted to pinpoints of darkness, rotting teeth bared in a facsimile of a smile. 

And if that wasn’t enough, a terrible screech, shrill and unearthly, explodes from the speakers.

Jeno hollers and pushes himself away from the desk, throwing his hands up to shield himself from the demonic face. In his haste to get away from the screen, though, he tips a little too far back, and tumbles sideways out of the chair and onto the floor with a crash, tugging his headset from its port and tangling with its cord.

Haechan and Jaemin collapse with him, but instead of the gaping jaw and wide eyes Jeno’s wearing, they are crying with laughter.

“Oh my god, did you see his face?”

“I got it on video!”

Jeno pulls his headset off furiously, finally processing the situation. “What was that?”

It takes them a moment to answer, to recuperate from rolling around in hysterics. When they do get up, it’s Haechan who answers, wiping moisture from the corners of his eyes. “That was the Scary Maze Game, and we still need to get Mark to do it.”

“Where did you get this? Jesus.”

“We asked Johnny-hyung for ideas to spook you, and this was the first thing on his list.”

“There’s a list?”

Jaemin helps Jeno up from the ground, chuckling. “Don’t worry, they’re not all for you.”

“I’m more worried that there are more for me,” Jeno grumbles, picking up his chair and leaning on it. 

Then he pauses. “Did you say you got it on video?”

“Run, Jaemin,” Haechan hisses, but the taller boy is already out the door and down the hallway.

Jeno scrambles out after him, crying, “Delete that!”

“Never!”
