More art!

This painting has neon pink and neon blue subdued with white and made into a water color effect. Then I used milkweed leaves in a gunmetal color to add across.

Unfortunately, my phone does not do this one justice, and even trying to look into filters it is not enough to really make it shine. Perhaps one day when I have money to invest in some better equipment I can get some studio lighting to make this one look better. I might try outdoor shots, but for now this is a glimpse of it.

I definitely did the petals on the flower and the succulent incorrectly (I had less than what they called for) but they still turned out cute!

Another political piece (sorry, skip this bad boy if you need to).

I am a bit bamboozled by the current state of affairs. I don't like being political in these spaces, but sometimes it's important for artists to create pieces as reminders of key points in history. After all, if we didn't, who would?

I read an article about Trump telling companies to 'eat the tariffs.' A remark meant for large corporations to essentially take the tariff loss and not pass it down to customers.

But, I think all of us tiny pawns know better than that. Big corporations are still going to pass the buck to us. We, the people, will be the ones paying for everything. Us little bugs, who are already getting squeezed tight, are getting squeezed a little harder.

When staring at the bird, a sense of action and inaction begets the viewer. The bird sits in the fire, but it also takes flight. Should one wait while the world is aflame? Or does one rise up? This introspective piece was made using acrylics on canvas.

It's Hamster Burnout Time!

Made this cute little guy. I had a hard time deciding what to do for words, though, but 'This is Madness' sums up life in a nutshell, am I right?

Worked on this goofy number while watching a friend play FF7:Rebirth.

A squad of villains playing poker. Cloud of Darkness sits in the middle, staring straight at you, with an expression that is absolutely indiscernible. Good hand? Bad hand? You will never know. The playful and goofy extra heads that spring from CoD's body are enjoying drinking and peeking at Kefka's hand.

Kefka, although revealing his hand to CoD, might possibly have a trick up his sleeve. I had imagined perhaps in a second hand he would have an extra card, because he is a trickster.

Sephiroth keeps his cards close to him, but looks over his shoulder as Kuja playfully takes a peek. I had figured Kuja would artfully try to lead Sephiroth to make a decision he might not normally go with. But is Kuja trustworthy enough to agree to his opinions, or will Sephiroth follow his own gut?

On the left, The Emperor places a hand to his face as he rolls his eyes back toward Ultimecia. The other hand places his cards down. It's utter shit, and he is not capable of holding back his frustrations.

Ultimecia tries to help The Emperor with her own spot of advice, perhaps being a better strategist than The Emperor is. I like the playful nature of these two, but trying to get Ulti close enough to whisper to The Emperor was a bit difficult because they are both extremely extravagant, and if I get the time, I would love to mesh them closer together. Like two besties, whispering to each other, but with big horns.

I would love to make a piece similar to The Reluctant Fiancée, by Auguste Toulmouche. His style of art has a lot of story to it. Maybe, if I ever were to paint this, I can make an attempt.

Anyway, that's my random art update for the day.
