i think its fun that the three shark rangers i know are all represented by (seemingly) gray nurse sharks? we have to go off the logo for gao blue and i know its styalised but that sloped nose/hump back shape still feels very gray nurse to me sooo

i get why it would have been the specific shark used for vul shark (good in captivity, would have been a quick easy trip to the aquarium to get their stock footage) but then why not go with something a little 'cooler' for gao and zyuoh?? idk how much of what i think of sharks is particularly WA cultural but surely a tiger or a great white evokes a more powerful image than a fucking gray nurse shark

like everything i have EVER seen about these sharks carries on about how gentle and placid and easy to keep in captivity they are. dont get me wrong i love these sharks, i'm just wondering how much of this choice is on purpose vs how much of it is because its an easily accessable shark to film
