twitch is a freelance techie who is mostly just here to cause problems on purpose >:^) they're a package deal with teo, their bestie and partner in crime, and they're a side character in cassidy's story

twitch has always had a knack for technology and after finishing high school a year early they went to study computer science! ended up with a master in robotics as well and very quickly found a job at a local tech shop where they spent most of their time tinkering and fixing up people's old and broken devices

i don't have the timeline for them set in stone in my brain but i do know that at some point they went to work for netwatch for a while after they got a job offer from them following a repair job they did there. twitch initially thought it would look good on their portfolio but there wasn't much there to do for them?? so they ended up having to do netrunning jobs a lot more than they had hoped for which eventually caused them to quit and go back to their old job. during their time at netwatch they worked together with aubrey for a while :)

nowadays, twitch still works at the tech shop but also spends a lot of time helping around the cobras gang base whenever seb and cassidy need any help :) they also end up working for aubrey at some point later in the timeline to help out with some netrunner stuff at the club for whenever he himself isn't available

most of the time, though, they go ghost hunting with teo >:^) it isn't as much ghost hunting, very often it's literally just a gas leak i mean. it's night city LMAO but i've also been spinning the idea around of like, lingering presence of people who've been in the net and died there?? if that makes sense??? since the net connects everything together and it's a space netrunners use for hacking and stuff i feel like it could interact with reality in such a way that Would make it seem like there's ghosts around. but it's not ghosts. but it's Something. idk i like that idea so i've been toying around with that a little bit and teo and twitch are ONTO SOMETHING ALRIGHT but also nobody ever believes them. which is even funnier to me

“You know if you glare any harder, you might bore a hole through the man,” Pansy’s comment did nothing to stray your eyes away from the scene in front of you. “Yeah, well he deserves it, he’s doing this shit on purpose. It’s like he gets off on making me jealous.” You watched as Mattheo continued to shamelessly flirt with the Hufflepuff girl seated next to him. She was a giggling mess at basically anything he was saying, “He’s not that funny, she’s being obnoxious.” Pansy snorted at your comment, simply shaking her head. It was when Mattheo tucked a loose strand behind her ear that you felt like your brain was short-circuiting. Pansy saw the look on your face, then followed your eyes to Mattheo and the girl, “Oh he’s in for it now isn’t he.” You let out a huff of frustration, closing your textbook and leaving the classroom. 

In your dorm room you were getting ready for the party your house was throwing tonight. Typically you dressed a little more relaxed for parties your house hosts because it’s more homey to you, but tonight you were going full on vixen. You opted for a black mini dress, skin tight and hugging all the right places. You paired it with emerald green heels, a gold necklace adorned with an emerald stone and a gold snake bracelet. You allowed Pansy to do your hair and makeup, making your eyes pop and leaving your hair down your back in bouncing waves, just like you knew your boyfriend liked. 

However, he was barely going to touch you tonight. Not until you allowed him to anyway. This morning he fucked around, tonight he was going to find out. When you and Pansy entered the party it was in full swing. You spotted your group of boys in the back corner, and Merlin if Mattheo didn’t look amazing. But you took a deep breath, centering yourself. No matter how good he looked, you had to stick to your plan. Pansy bounced over to Draco, throwing her arms around him and greeting him with a big kiss to his cheek. It was obvious the boys had been drinking for a while before you both got there simply by the reaction Draco had, which was a big smile and giggle. 

You walked to the group a little slower. When you approached them, Mattheo’s eyes grew wide. You could see him looking you up and down and you did your best to appear unbothered by this. He gave you a kiss on the forehead, you just hummed in return. He met your eyes, “Something wrong, princess?” You put on a big smile, “No, Teo, nothing is wrong. Why did you do something you shouldn’t have?” He raised an eyebrow at you questioningly, “Erm, no..?” Your mouth fell to a tight line, how could he be so oblivious, or was he still playing the game from earlier? You decided it was your turn now, and glanced around your circle of friends for the perfect accomplice. 

Besides your boyfriend, Enzo was your favorite boy in the group. He was always so cheerful, smile plastered on his face regardless of the situation. He was a cute guy, always having his own gaggle of girls following him around, but he never really entertained it. He always seemed more interested in quidditch or parties. When he saw you looking at him his smile grew wider, “Y/n, you look, wow.” You giggled, “Thank you, Enzo, that’s very kind.” If possible his smile grew wider as he took another sip of his drink. Mattheo went to place his hand on your waist possessively, but you pushed him off, instead walking up to Enzo, “You wanna dance with me, Enzo?” Enzo’s eyes flicked to Mattheo but you grabbed hold of Enzo’s jaw, pulling him down to face you, “Please, Enzie, you know Teo never dances with me and I wanna have fun tonight.” You put on your best pout, looking up through your lashes. 

You saw his shoulders slack, indicating that you had convinced him. You bounced on your toes, clapping your hands together. You knew the hem on your dress was riding up as you did so, and you could feel Mattheo’s eyes boring a hole in your back. You grabbed Enzo’s hand that wasn’t holding his drink and dragged him to the middle of the dance floor, ignoring any protests you heard from Mattheo as you passed. He looked over at Pansy, eyebrows nearly to the ceiling. Pansy held her hands up in defense, “Maybe if you’re lonely you can ask that Hufflepuff girl to dance?” Mattheo’s lips slowly turned into a smirk, realizing now the game you were playing at. 

Once near the middle of the dance floor, you turned your back to Enzo, swaying your hips and grinding against him. He free hand held firm to your waist as you snaked an arm up and around his neck. He let your bodies move against each other before enlightening you, “I know what you’re doing, y/n/n.” You turn to face him, wrapping your hands behind his neck, still dancing with your body pressed to his, “You mean just dancing with one of my best guy friends?” Enzo rolled his eyes, “I know you’re using me as a ploy to make Mattheo jealous. Don’t worry though…” He leaned in closer, whispering against your ear, “He’s been a dick on the quidditch pitch all week so I’ll play along. We can give him a little show if you want.” You nodded your head quickly, then Enzo went straight to work. 

As the next song came on Enzo grabbed hold of your waist, fingers dancing just above the curve of your ass. As the beat of the song got stronger, Enzo slotted his leg between yours, guiding you to essentially grind on his thigh. The song was barely a minute in before you felt another arm wrap around your waist and lift you away from your dancing partner. You didn’t even panic, you knew who it was and the way he talked to Enzo had warmth rushing to the pit of your stomach, “I don’t know what the fuck game you’re playing at Lorezno but it’s over.” Enzo held his hands up, “Listen, mate, she asked me to dance. Who am I to tell her no?” Mattheo grumbled some form of ‘fuck you’ back to him as he carried you to the edge of the dance floor and towards the stairs leading up to the dorms. 

“Exactly where are we going? I’m not done dancing, nor drinking. There’s like the whole night left to party,” You were struggling against Matteo’s grip now, which only tightened with your fighting. “Oh, you’re done with the party, princess. You wanted to act like a little slut with my friend, well now I’m going to treat you like a slut.” You gasped as he threw you down on his bed, “Excuse me, sir, but Enzo is my friend too. And I wasn’t acting like a slut…we were just dancing.” Mattheo rolled his eyes, pushing you back on to the bed and crawling over you. He dipped his head in the crook of your neck, nipping at the skin making you gasp, “You don’t dance like that with my friends.” 

He nipped and sucked at the skin of your neck, “O-our friend.” You barely got the words out, Mattheo’s hands trailing down your sides and playing with the hem of your dress. “Do you want our friend to be here right now because if you’d rather he help you out,” Mattheo dragged his middle finger up your clothed center, “I’m sure he’d kill to feel how wet he got you.” You tried to buck your hips towards him, tried to gain any friction possible, “N-not for him, all for you T-Teo.” He hummed, trailing his lips up your neck and along your jaw, “F’me, hmm? But you’ve barely been by me all night.” He was toying with you now, thumb drawing circles over your bundle of nerves, not nearly applying the pressure you needed. You shook your head, “Only was thinking of you, wanted, ah, wanted to make you jealous.” 

Mattheo hooks his fingers around the band of your panties, dragging them down agonizingly slow. You tug at the sides of your dress, allowing it to bunch up around your waist, “You wanting me to do something, love?” Mattheo looks up at you, eyes dancing with deviance. You tangle your fingers in his hair, “Need you, Teo.” He growled lowly at the wine in your tone, “What do you need from me, princess? Use your words.” You tugged at his curls, “Mouth, need your mouth on me.” He toys with you now, laying on his stomach, smoothing his palms up your legs, squeezing the flesh of your thighs before placing a kiss to each one, “Here?” 

You buck your hips toward him, causing him to flatten a palm against your hip, keeping you still. Without warning he flattens his tongue, licking a stripe up your center. You let out a choked gasp, head falling back against the pillow, “Oh, there? Is that what you want, princess?” You open your mouth to respond when he does it again, this time pressing his thumb down on your clit as he does so. “Loss for words now, hmm? But you were talking such a big game earlier.” You want to glare at him, to tell him to fuck off but the way his mouth feels on you is pure bliss.

Your nails scratch on his scalp and the growl he releases sends vibrations straight to your core. He grips your thighs tighter, surely causing bruises but in the moment you can’t get yourself to care. His lips wrap around your clit, sucking hard as he plunges three fingers knuckle deep into you. "Y'think?" [REDACTED]'s voice soon joins in, only this time, it comes from somewhere behind you. All too quickly, his tall frame presses up against your back — and before you know it — you're suddenly being caged in by two warm chests. "What makes you think I wanna be dressed like a clown?"

"A clown? Please." With an eye-roll, Teo steps even closer, casually pressing himself up against you and giving you no room to squirm. "Just admit that this is the first time someone actually laid eyes on your pathetic self."

"Yeah, f'dressing like a fucking clown." Large, tattooed (and scarred) hands land on your shoulders as [REDACTED] pulls you even closer into his chest with a protective hold. "...I don't need anyone t'look at me though. Not unless it's—"

"It's starshine over here, right?" Finally acknowledging your presence, Teo sends you a sly wink before he rests his own hand on your hip. But unlike [REDACTED], his intention was more goading rather than protective. "You're predictable, buttercup."

"At least I've got an ass in the first place." Teo's tone practically oozes self-confidence as he leans even closer; allowing himself to tower above your head and face his "copycat" in a heated staring contest. "Couldn't care less if it was pretentious or not."

"—How much did it cost?" You unconsciously get pushed into Teo's body as [REDACTED] stands his ground. Your hands get a good feel of the hard chest before you, though you knew better than to let them linger for too long. "As much as it did to buy all your friends?"

Just finished watching the fourth episode of the atla live action and why do they struggle so much with characterization when the source material did it so well? For a moment there Sokka and Katara switched personalities, and wtf did they do to Bumi?? And that's just this episode... Aang feels off at times too, much of his character arc is about him learning to confront his guilt and the war instead of avoiding them, so him being so focused on being the avatar doesn't feel like him at all. Then there's Suki, Gran Gran, Teo, I don't even know what they tried to do with Zhao... and Zuko hasn't talked about his honor once (I'm kinda joking with this one but also no, I'm not joking)

(Gordon Cormier and Dallas Liu are doing an amazing job though, that scene with them fighting in Omashu was great and I don't know why but I loved the little addition of Zuko having a journal)

YEAH they really reduced all characters to some basic stereotypes, but Bumi was flat out massacred into a whiny 100 year old manchild that Aang needs to placate. Wtf. Honor..... y e ah. They. I guess they forgot.

oh like a billion times. i know i've only really got teo romeo down as his ex but i do think he's had a good few over the course of his life, and at least as many intense crushes that didn't go anywhere. he goes from "oh they're cute :3" to "run away with me let's start a new life together on the coast" in about 30 seconds and he's incapable of hiding it. i think feelings persist after things end for a while (and he's deeply pathetic about it) but it ends pretty abruptly once it's out of his system. also he is in love with kalevi. platonically, except when he's doing a bit.

like probably if anyone was even kind of mean to kalevi he would throw them to the curb immediately. instant dealbreaker forever. other than that he'll tolerate a lot. usually though, he is the one getting broken up with.

he's sooo affectionate he loves a cuddly he loves a kissy. especially physically (he gives good hugs and he knows it) but he's got good compliments too. his dad was a little bitch about Men Getting To Hug so at some point he was like. fuck you dad i'm gonna kiss my besties with tongue.

he goes either way very easily. he's friendly but he's also confrontational and if he gets mad he gets MAD. more often than not he's nice to people so long as they're nice in return.

he's really a bit of a pushover - he worries if he demands too much people will leave him. he is also a big baby with big feelings so he can try all he likes to hide it but anyone paying attention can tell he's way needier than he lets on.

he gets bored very very easily by a lot of things, adhd king that he is. he is terrible at reading. anything that is on paper will not make it into his brain.

kalevi :] tuomma :] he loves his bestie and his boyfriend. that or a little bit of loud music and shouting and dancing around. shake all the Bad out. he's generally pretty cheerful - his brain is fuck but he kinda. still has to live his life yknow. so he finds a lot of joy in little things. and other people like his immense goofiness and cisgender tboy swag.

if we're talking intangible then like. rejection. i keep writing jejection. i think we should change it to jejection. if we're talking tangible i can see him being a bit scared of heights. yes because he's 5'3.

he's pretty forgiving but he's sooo jealous. but he's also like horny about it. if he thinks someone else is kind of flirting with tuomma he cries and screams and shits but in a way that implies he is going to jack off about it later. it doesnt really bother tuomma (jokes on you he's into that shit). jarmo doesn't like that he does it though and every time he's like "next time i get jealous i will be normal" and then he isn't.

📀 How easy is it to shock your OC? To confuse them? To lie to them, to manipulate them? How are they with feelings of trust? Can your OC be trusted?

he's not so easily shocked - less desensitised than kalevi but he'll take anything in stride pretty easy. he's pretty easily confused in a thotty little bimbo kinda way. he's pretty gullible and trusts easily, unless one happens to be an authority figure of some kind and then he will attack you like a dog. he's trustworthy too - i think if he were to try lying he would feel bad and stop in a matter of seconds.

💛 In general, how in control of their emotions is your OC? Do they have a good hold on them or do their emotions control them, not the other way around? What do you think is the reason behind this and is your OC ever concerned about their lack of or good control?

0 control at all. man walks dick first into emotional turmoil cries 3x a day at LEAST takes home random pieces of furniture people leave outside their houses that he cannot fit in his room because it makes him sad to see broken chairs being abandoned. he's pretty self-conscious about all that - he's internalised some bonkers toxic masculinity in his childhood. he gets stuck in this limbo where he's too emotional to hide it but he's too self-conscious to just embrace himself so he ends up hiding in bathrooms and apologising a lot.

like with kal i don't really have much of a grasp on jarmo's 30s, but if you're keeping track, this is slightly later than kal's. on kal's i was kind of talking about him at 19-20ish, and this would have been after that, when jarmo was maybe 21-22. both of these are more like 22-24 years ago but who's counting. around this time, jarmo's laundry list of disorders was both at its peak and completely undiagnosed. iisakki had met his future wife eleonoora, and though they had only been dating for a few months they were very, very in love, so when he got pregnant with reuben they took the opportunity to move in together as fast as possible. iisakki moving out got jarmo terrified, leading him to spiral like crazy and eventually get himself hospitalised. these days he has sooo many diagnoses and is medicated and stuff. he kind of avoided therapy because getting hospitalised was so sucks but he's gotten a little more accustomed to his own head i guess. he also stopped trying to convince himself that you can fuck men heterosexually if you do it right and just admitted he was bi. he's not all there yet but he slays nonetheless. he'd tell his younger self to be a little more forgiving on himself and a little less of a fucking idiot. his younger self would say "i made it to 44 and i'm STILL insane? fuck me."

🍏 Does your OC have any triggers? What is the history behind these triggers and are they related to any disorders or mental illnesses? In what ways does your OC react to being triggered?

the sound of buckles, getting shouted at, getting grabbed and shoved around. yknow. Dad Stuff. buckles are a minor one, it just puts him on edge, but the others can get him pretty panicky.

🥝 What does a bad mental health day look like for your OC? Walk us through it with them. What kind of things can help them out of this slump and what kinds of things comfort them when they start to feel like this?

he gets sort of irritable and emotional. he takes even worse care of himself than usual and he cries a lot. either that or he gets impulsive and weird. bipolar hours. usually all it takes is kalevi or sometimes tuomma to pick him up by the scruff of his neck, put him in time out, and give him maybe a drink and a little tenderness.

💚 Talk about some of the traumatic events in your OC’s life. These events can be ones that have happened to them or a loved one. These events can be minor or major.

his parents were shit abusive fascists and most of his childhood was spent in at least a little fear.

they had a dog, kosto, who jarmo's dad wanted to be a guard dog, something he mostly tried to achieve by mistreating him. jarmo loved kosto and gave him all the cuddles and pets and treats he could behind his dad's back. one night, when jarmo's dad was especially violent, kosto stepped between them and bit him on the leg to protect jarmo. he was put down shortly after.

kalevi, his best friend, left for boarding school when they were 11 which was a bad time for him.

long before he started allowing himself to question his sexuality, his dad let jarmo tag along to a bar with him and his friends. he mostly ignored jarmo but he still liked to be included. some time into the night jarmo spotted a gay couple at another table. he was interested for reasons he would take decades to understand. when his dad saw them he was already pretty drunk. he got mad and started harassing the pair until the three of them got kicked out. jarmo was made to wait in the car for a few minutes. a few weeks later, his dad was on trial for hate crime and manslaughter charges. despite an eyewitness account from the deceased's severely injured boyfriend, jarmo's dad, a cop, got away with everything. jarmo was 13. he would not figure out he was bisexual until he was 44.

in their late teens he and iisakki started saving up and planning to run away to helsinki together with jarmo's sister kaisa. things with jarmo's parents started getting worse and they were starting to catch on to their plan, so he and iisakki left before they had the money for three people, leaving kaisa behind and permanently damaging their relationship. though things are a lot smoother now, the guilt has never gone away.

when kalevi joined them a year or so later (with money to help them into a slightly bigger place) he was in a bad state. jarmo was a good friend about it and did his best, but when he found kalevi after a suicide attempt that fucked him up for a while.

also, a lot of breakups over the years. not especially traumatic but he has never taken one well ever.

💧 What is the earliest memory your OC can recall? Do they know what their first words were or remember where they took their first steps? Do they have any mementos of their childhood they’ve kept such as a stuffed toy or tiny baby clothes?

defiitely somethng to do with kal - possibly the same memory of them meeting but he has a shit memory. maybe something more recent. his first words were maybe something to do with animals. he was a big animal guy as a kid.

🌠 Who was your OC’s first friend? Do they remember them or are they still friends now? Talk about some of the people your OC has lost contact with over the years. Do they have any regrets about losing these people and would they revist them if they could?

kalevi! his bestie forever! he's had a lot of messy breakups with friends and girlfriends (especially teodora-romeo, who had the poor timing to break up with him when he was off his meds, leading to about a month of very pathetic phone calls) but kalevi has been a constant in his life. he has a lot of regrets but it's probably for the best that he doesn't call anyone from the trail of destruction he's left behind him.

💙 What did your OC want to be when they grew up and why? Did they have any lifelong dreams or ambitions they never got to work on or are they currently working to achieve this dream? Has their life taken a very unexpected turn and put all these plans on hold for a while or have they given up on any dreams?

i think he's always been a little directionless. he had various ambitions as a kid, a few years where he really wanted to be a tattoo artist but never really took to the art bit, but when it came down to starting a career for himself, he stuck with the manual labour he'd been doing since he was a teenager. it's only now, as the company he works for has been bought by a big corporation and is cutting more and more corners and the years of work are starting to take a toll on his body, that he's started considering a different job. i don't think he really knows what, and it's been almost 30 years so changing now is kinda daunting.

🌀 Where is your OC from? Where were they born? Do they still live there, if not why did they move? If they still live in the area how has it changed since their childhood? How many places has your OC lived in and where has been their favourite?

he comes from the same small town as kalevi. he and iisakki moved out together when they were 18 and 21 - he needed to get away from his parents and iisakki just hated living there. he's lived in helsinki ever since and he likes it much more.

💤 What was your OC like as a baby, a child and as a teen? (if your OC is a teen or a child, what will they be like as an adult?). How have they changed since then? What lessons have they learned and what things about their youth do they miss the most? Do they have any general regrets?

baby: a bit of a troublemaker, cried a lot, but very charming. child: wolf kid. textbook undiagnosed neurodivergent kid. spent most of his time off in the woods hitting things with sticks. kind of a shithead, got into a lot of fights, especially defending kal's honour. always had some kind of scrapes, and nobody really cared to differentiate between what was him being clumsy/confrontational/an idiot and what was him being Severely Abused. he kind of bought into his dad's insane evil politics - he never believed it enough to really do any harm (even before he was old enough to understand the politics he understood the concept of "don't be mean to kalevi he's my friend"), and just being around kal and recognising his humanity did a lot to make him normal, but he also didn't question the ideas flying around his house. teen: iisakki moved in next door when he was 11/12, around the same time that kalevi went off to boarding school. iisakki was a cool older kid so he trailed him around for a long time until they became friends. when iisakki offered the smallest pushback to his dad's ideas, jarmo went "wait fascism is bad? fuck yes. i thought it might be." and ran with it, rapidly becoming the worlds smallest antifa supersoldier. he got more and more rebellious, which didn't not get his knee broken and give him a limp for the rest of his life, but you gotta admire the spirit. his brain also got a lot worse though - his early bipolar and bpd symptoms started springing up around 14 and 16 respectively, he started drinking and smoking and overusing the meds they gave him for his leg. he still got into a lot of fights and was generally a little shit, but overall iisakki was a good influence.

he's settled down a little since, though most of the issues springing up back then were only the tip of an iceberg he spent his whole 20s slowly crashing into. he's glad to have kalevi back, though he misses going out and playing in the woods. he regrets a lot - the time spent lstening to his parents, the smoking that started off as a cool teen thing until it wasn't, most of all the lack of care he allowed himself - but he knows he was working with what he had. he makes a point to be kind to his past self.

he has a loud, expressive voice and a big hearty laugh. he's SHIT at singing but he can do pretty good metal screaming. thick, thick finnish accent if he's speaking english. idk what the regional accents are like in finnish lol. he presumably has one.

🎀 Do they wear a specific accessory with a special meaning behind it? What is their usual fashion sense like? What do they wear when they want to be comfortable and what do they wear when they’re going to a fancy party? Or do they just not care?

when he first had his injury he wore little fingerless gloves to keep his hands from getting sore on his cane. these days he's used to it and doesn't really need them, but he likes the gloves anyway. he's pretty committed to the washed-out middle-aged metalhead thing he's got going on - he lives in ancient band shirts, leather, and big boots. if he's making an effort it's because kalevi made him - and usually it means he wears a slightly less ancient band shirt and slightly cleaner boots.

💗 What would your OC say is their best feature? Why? What do their friends / family / lover(s) / people they know think is their best feature and why?

i think he's quite into his own body honestly. it's sort of tangled up with his sexuality where he was maybe a little insecure about it before he figured his shit out but then once he did he was like Oh I'm An Absolute Bear And That's Sexy Of Me. kal likes his beard because he can scratch it to annoy him. tuomma's inclined to agree with him on his Fat Fucking Milkers but if asked he would probably politely and respectfully say his hands.

🌺 Does your OC have any tattoos or other body art? Does their body art have any specific meaning behind it? Do they have any scars? How did they get those scars? Any birthmarks?

he has a sleeve tattoo - a skeleton arm surrounded by the branches of an apple tree. one specific branch came before the rest of the sleeve and matches kalevi and iisakki's branches. i went into what those mean on kal's post so i won't get into it here. on his other arm he has a SHIT stick-and-poke of kosto, his childhood dog. he did it himself so it sucks. i imagine he's got a few scars but i don't know what exactly.

🌷 In what ways would your OC alter their body if they could? How would they do it using mundane means (hair dye, surgery, make-up?). What is their ideal look for themself?

i feel like he wants loads more tattoos but they're expensive and he only has so much body. he fluctuates between being insecure about his height and wishing he was taller and being Five Foot Something But My Bills All Paid On My Tippy Toes From LA To The Bay.

Aure and Spadi loosing Rubina v. 2 ...... ouch. Ouch ouch. I am taking psychic damage just thinking about the pain of that. Although you're totally right, that mixture of sadness and relief that makes them feel guilty for even imagining it, when in this scenario they've actively choosen to have a baby...

It's also very politically current, which causes double damage to any reader because it's a very real situation.

But like I said, I love a happy ending. So I think I'll leave that story perhaps to someone who really enjoys Super Mega Angst. (Is it even angst at that point, or just pain?😭)

This time, his dad wasn't around to ask if you wanted to go fishing. This time, his mum wasn't popping in every 10 minutes to see if you wanted any snacks. It was just you and Leon; with your limbs tangled together inside of a swag that felt far too big for just two people.

A beat passes as you both stare at each other, before the soft pitter patter of rain bounces off the the tent roof and breaks the silence. And just like how the sky opened up, Leon finds himself wanting to speak what's on his mind as well.

I swear I’m just excited for this solely cause I’m also Afro-latino and this is basically how every birthday party is for my family

And of course this will have a dark tone at the end cause this is Zeke we are talking bout

When Zeke told you his family were having a small get together for his birthday at his parent’s house you were honestly pretty nervous since you never met his parents before this but you figured it will be a small thing so there isn’t too much to worry about.

When you got there it was a lot of people, like a lot. You could hear the music playing from the driveway, loud reggaeton playing and you felt even more nervous not wanting to stand out or anything like that. You went to the backyard where the party was and sighed in relief at the sight of your boyfriend

Zeke was sitting drinking beer before he eyes flickered over to you a grin on his face

“Y/n! You’re late you got lost?” Zeke teased out with a smile as he got up walking over and giving you a quick kiss on the lips smiling at you clearly happy to have a party and be around family. “I’m so glad you’re here, honestly getting along with my folks is super important to me.” This made you about 100x more nervous to meet his family but you tried to shake it off but Zeke knew you pretty well.

The male grabbed your hand holding you from behind “deja de preocuparte” he purred put in your ear before letting go chuckling slyly at your flushed face. He finished the bottle before throwing it out and holding your hand. He pulled you into the house where it was a bit quieter now guiding you to the kitchen where his father and mother were together getting the cake ready

“este es mi amor” he told them watching how nervous you looked. His mother was a dark skinned woman with beautiful dreads that had coloring beads in it, she gave you a hard stare before suddenly hugging you. “You’re the one he’s always talking about! Bout time he stopped being such a whore! Welcome to the family sweetie ”

“Mom!” Zeke hissed out feeling absolutely embarrassed. His father wasn’t any better patting his back with a grin “I like this one better than the last ones! Especially that boy you kept bringing over thinking we didn’t know”

“Prince isn’t that bad dad- know what Okay! Conversation over! Come on! Let’s go y/n!” Zeke groaned out pulling you along towards a different part of the house face flushed. “Sooo, you were a man whore? Wow Zeke.” You teased making him roll his eyes

“Don’t wanna hear it. Come on my brother wants to meet you” he said as he guided you to a room and opened the door. The room had a huge fake tree in the center and honestly that wasn’t the weirdest thing about it

The entire room was very mixing of aesthetics from punk band posters to a pastel bed and fairy lights to kid core stickers scattered about the wall. “Looks like a kid with adhd decorated” you mumbled out making Zeke chuckled

“Yeah cause someone did”

With that someone poked their head out of the leaves hanging upside down from the tree. A boy with curly hair and vitiligo poked out his eyes being two different colors one being green and one being brown. “Big Z!” The boy cheered out swinging back and forth from the fake tree branch.

“Little teo, this is y/n. Y/n this is my very immature 18 year old brother Mateo” Zeke explained and Mateo tilted his head to the side giving you a long stare before flashing a smile “ever been with younger guys? I may seem like a handful but I’m really good with my mouth!” He teased only for Zeke to yank him out the tree causing him to fall

“Shut the fuck up before I beat your ass myself” Zeke joked with a grin as the boy rubbed his head with a pout “don’t be so rough with me! I’m a fragile boy!” Mateo whined causing Zeke to roll his eyes.

“Stop being in your room sleeping come out to the party” Zeke said before guiding you out. “So, what you think?” He asked you clearly nervous about your reaction. You gave him a smile “your family is great! Really welcoming!” You cheered out.

Zeke relaxed now eager to have a good time with you, he took you back out to the backyard where the party was the music making him far more excited, something about good music made him wanna dance.

“Come on let’s dance! I won’t accept no for an answer plus this is a perfect way to get you to grind on me” he purred out guiding you to the dance floor. Zeke’s style of dancing with you was pure grinding, his hand on your hips as he guided you against his body your bodies close and personal as he held you from behind going along to the music.

He even started to sing in Spanish in your ear smirking at how flustered it made you. “So, how about we find a quiet place where we can have even more fu-” he was cut off by his parents bring out the cake..damn it.

Wasn’t long til he was surrounded by family cheering him on, Zeke never looked happier he truly loved being surrounded by loved ones he was beaming from ear to ear at all the cheesy embarrassing things they said.

When he blew out the candles everyone cheered. “ what did you wish for papi?” His mother asked and Zeke glanced your way before giving a wink. “I wished for kids” he teased earning his mom to hit his arm making him laugh.

The rest of the party was a lot of salsa dancing and laughs, he definitely had fun..at least until it became 2 in the morning and cops came cause of the noise complaints. Then everyone had to go home, as you two walked to the car Zeke held your hand humming happily.

“You’re giddy” you teased making him chuckle

“It’s been a while since I seen my family like that, you didn’t notice cause my folks hide it well but before then me and my parents didn’t speak for a while. My whole family hated me for a while”

You paused now looking at him curiously and with an amused smile “what did you do? Rob a bank?” You joked making him smile as he opened the car door for you “nah. Nothing like stealing or whatever, but it was bad..they finally just forgave me” he said softly now getting in the car.

“I killed someone”

You tensed up at his eyes seeing his serious gaze before he grinned kissing your cheek laughing. “I’m kidding! Jeez relax baby!” He said with a laugh as he started the car and started to go home making you relax though you didn’t like the ways his eyes darkened at that joke.

Whatever...it was weird.

ok. because nobody was asking about it, here's my proseka group ranking

25-ji - i am mentally ill and also i kin one of them. their covers/songs are all so good. it's also unique in a lot of ways (only group where none of the characters meet at school, only group with only 1 first year, only group with a sekai manifested from someone that isn't the leader, only group that was an established music group before their main story, etc) and i like that. and because i'm edgy i like their aesthetics, story, and characterization. there's lots of interesting and realistic scenarios with them. kanade has trauma and blames herself for her father's illness, mafuyu has ultimately been driven to suicidal depression mostly due to her overly controlling parents, ena has a severe inferiority complex because she works super hard on her art and gets no recognition or praise outside of 25ji even from her own family (kinnie moments), and mizuki has resorted to skipping school to avoid transphobic harassment from other students. these are real problems lots of people relate to, someone could even relate to all of them at once, so it makes the stories so intriguing and the characters so memorable

wxs - my gf likes this one so i have bias. i love the clowns because they're all totally autistic. i love tsukasa and emu's noises. i also like how colorful they are and i think they all have very good backstories. i'd really like emu in particular to be expanded on she definitely seems like she'd be a "my family is rich and cares more about money than my own happiness" kinda character but i might be reading too deep into it.

vbs - definitely the gayest of units. they also get the giga-p songs AND echo so huge bonus points for that. i love their styles, an in particular is my favorite character design in the whole game. their story also rules, the only thing that kinda bothers me is i think kohane should have kept her glasses. the haircut i understand, it's cool, but i don't like the trope of "character stops wearing glasses to signify Change" bitch she needs to SEE!!!!!!!!! i know she has contacts but i don't get what was wrong with the glasses :( (also i know kohane is first in the lineup but i'm not the only one who thought an was the leader at first right. like she's the one they show at the beginning of the vbs story, kohane doesn't show up til like halfway through chapter 1 and i dont think they even display her name at first. actually that kinda bothers me too)

mmj - i like them, i don't have any strong opinions. i like some of their songs but i definitely feel like the songs they cover are very inconsistent, in some cases i think they should have gone to other units (like i think patchwork staccato fits in more with 25-ji, maybe near as well). i think the concept is super interesting, 1 aspiring idol + 3 girls who quit being idols, and the story behind those 3 girls and WHY they quit being idols. the characters just don't really stand out to me though...they're not like, boring or copied from other characters or anything, they just don't super interest me. BUT i do really appreciate how their story is handled, and their subsequent event stories are realistic idol stuff like finding an agency or managing live streaming sessions, i think it's a good take on that stuff

leo/need - i think the story is very well done, and the individual characterization too, but i gotta be honest. the more i think about leo/need the more upset i am. it has everything to do with their songs. i don't generally like deco*27's style, he's very talented but his style is just not for me (but i like hibana and ghost rule). pretty much every song leo/need has other than teo, roki and hibana (though even with hibana i play with the meiko cover) is sooo boring to me to the point where i actively dread having to play through them in multilives. not to mention that ichika gets WAY more emphasis than any other group leader. off the top of my head i can think of 5 songs (hibana, teo, roki, dramaturgy, and umitetie katiyetan or whatever it's called. whatever that one is) that are just ichika and miku duets, which is way more than any other group leader. in fact the only other miku/unit member duet i can think of is hated by life itself (with kanade). ichika even gets a solo cover (night sky patrol of tomorrow) which im pretty sure literally no other unit member has (not counting another vocal versions obviously). saki, honami and shiho get NO songs of their own, or even like individual duets with ichika or miku (and luka has NOTHING. vbs and mmj let her sing with them but not the unit that she was literally assigned to!!). in the mvs for teo and roki they just play their instruments together in the background without singing. i get they're the band unit but all the characters are meant to be singers in some form, there's no reason the other members shouldnt get to sing. (and it's not like ichika herself doesnt have an instrument!! like it's not like everyone else is too busy!!) LITERALLY DURING SHIHO'S BIRTHDAY LIVE SHE DIDN'T SING AT ALL IT WAS ICHIKA AND MIKU DOING TEO. i didnt see honami's birthday but i imagine they didn't let her sing either. it just really pisses me off how they just, neglect ichika's friends way more than they would for any other unit. but yeah i just think their songs are boring
