I decided to start rewatching the fairly oddparents and something that I'm surprised to see (aside from it still being pretty funny 😂😂) is that I remembered Wanda being more of the straight-man to Cosmo and Timmy, probably because of the flanderization and season rot, but she actually MATCHES their energy?? Most of the time she's participating in or actively encouraging their wacky behavior and I think that's beautiful! We need to go back to that

oh yeah i went to a uni open day and allergies decided to pummel me in a rather quiet room with over a hundred other people during a law course presentation when i had ONE tissue that had previously been a bookmark. i only sneezed four times but my right eye and nostril could NOT stop watering i gave in and used my sleeve and it got absolutely soaked in snot 😭😭

#anyway the uni was pretty whelming but i got some useful info about ways to get into the course i want if i don't qualify initially #and some actually really useful info about a lot of work opportunities during the degree. there's an on campus law practice :0 #and a lot of places offer jobs through the uni instead of putting them on market #so pretty good stuff #tho i did see my almost-ex (we never really dated but he liked me and i humoured it for a couple days before i realised i did not like him)#and he was pissing me off there i dont feel strongly negatively but man i do not fw him #oh man we're tumblr mutuals hi if you see this.... i would block but i forgot his URL. dont think he uses this often?? ill have a look #and maybe block. yeah #update i scrolled through my tumblr messages to find him and it says his blog does not exist #anyway. wow i got off topic #oh yeah i didnt fw him during our short ideal either #bc i was all uhh yeah im not sure about this lets take it slow bro did NOT take it very slow #anyway it was kind of funny he very obviously liked me for weeks before i caught on it he said 'i like you' and i still did not realise #on halloween he was eager to suggest doing the lady and the tramp spaghetti move on a pocky stick as a 'challenge' and i thought nothing of #it #so that was a cool insight into how oblivious i am in the romance department

#I was out trawling today w/ my marine invert class #for like 8 hours today trying to fish up inverts. Squids and crabs and stuff like that #which we found a lot of!!! But we also got a shark on accident and that was really funny #not just bc It's A Whole Shark but bc they're like really hard to find this time of year in this area #bro was just chilling too #we put him back tho don't worry we just checked him for parasites first #anyways like 6 hours into the trip the water got like. #yet again i fail to convince my counselor i have executive function problems. mostly its bc i dont think well in the moment but also i just #feel kinda weird rn so i was having trouble making my thoughts connect. but i swear to christ i do have problems making my executives #function. i think the issue is im a grad student so i do well in school. not that it matters bc i kno loads of grad students with pretty #god awful adhd. one of my former lab mates was like. Adderall barely made her normal. and yet she was still a phd student #so like. its possible to have executive function issues as a grad student. the problem with me is the obsessive thoughts and self #destructive behavior so to her it sounds like im telling myself that i cant get my brain to work unless i put myself under extreme pressure #rather than i cant get my brain to work so to cope im putting myself under extreme pressure bc if i dont nothing gets done #but like fucking if i try to relax i dont do things. i cant clean my kitchen or my room or take out the trash or do my laundry #and im not like not doing it bc i dont wanna. these things r causing me active distress but i cant flip the switch that makes them happen #ive gotta write a grant proposal. read a paper. and find a paper to discuss by tomorrow morning. i had time to do all of this before but i #didnt do it. y didnt i do it? fucking i dont kno. ugh. whatever. i got refered to a psychiatrist so well see what happens there #i did accidentally set the meeting to when i meet with my advisor tho. oops. also my counselor said it sounds like im a rat running on a #wheel. which is accurate but also a really fucking funny thing to have said abt u. ur r a scrawny neglected lil rat. boohoo.#idk what type of medication she thinks i should b on. like what symptom r we trying to exhaust? the 0cd or the mood issues?#i dont even kno what the issue is. not that i guess it matters. idk. i need to read and write. fucking hell #unrelated

#I heard sony has a big issue with this even if you paid for it #and I’m not the type who really buys digitals #tho the only thing I’d get that’s digital is probably the 90’s dub of sailor moon #and even then I’m not paying for it but torrenting it #cuz the physicals for that dub have been out of print since like 2004 and it’s by episodes and not seasons unfortunately #and idc I prefer the old dub over the redub of sailor moon #like don’t get it twisted I’m so happy they put my lesbians back where they belong but I just can’t get with the new voices for the scouts #and the funny part is I like all the vas in the new dub but I think they just don’t work together and sound too similar #I could only pick out Stephanie and Katie but the other scouts? nah man way too similar #I can barely tell who is who unlike the old dub where every single voice was so distinctive #the old dub was a godsend to the visually impaired kids like me that didn’t know I needed glasses until grade 4 :/#but yeah gonna be difficult as hell to find that old dub since the new one completely replaced it everywhere #just wish that they released dvds of each full season to make life easier for me #but at least I’ve had an aeasier time with others #even happily ever after cuz that was a Snow White movie I adored as a kid cuz I thought she was so pretty lmao
