Flint x reader: heading back to the ship one shot.
Behold my very first x reader one shot! :D  :D     Hope you all like it
Tumblr media
As always, the tavern was loud and exhausting.  The pirates were in their obnoxious behavior.  Drinking and gambling their dark hearts out,  and with bonus, making out with a few of the waitresses for their own pleasure.
But if any pirate men try to kiss you, they'll have their heads blown off thanks to you being Captain Flint's lover.  They've known it was a living death risk if they make their move.
Speaking of Flint, he was having a conservation with the other captain, and you were waiting for him to get done so you can get out of here.    You drink your mug of rum and grumble to yourself.
"Why is this place has to be always packed at night?"  You mumbled to yourself.    When things got too much, after you start to get a slight headache,  you decide to step out of the building to get some fresh air.
You left your mug behind and make your way towards the exit.  After you walked out, you sighed to feel a cool night breeze on your skin.  Finally,  a quiet moment. You let yourself enjoy this blissful silence and have your mind be as you close your eyes for a minute.
About a few minutes passed by, and you thought your skin jumped when someone touched your shoulder.  You'd let out a startled gasp, opening your eyes sharply and looking to see who it was, bracing yourself for defense.
But you were relieved it was no other than Captain Flint, showing his fearsome appearance with his dull yellow eyes gleaming.
"Oh, Captain!" You gasped, placing your hand over your heart to steady your beat. "You scared me,"
"Ye shouldn't be out here lassie,"  Flint replied.  "Yer' lucky my meeting was short."   You give him a snort.
"Hey you know I can defend myself thanks to your hard training,"
"Still ye ain't strong enough to handle large ones," Flint said.  You didn't argue with that cause you knew you couldn't as you looked down, rubbing your arm.   But wanting to show you bravely, you said.
"Then I'll train harder and be fearful as you,"  In corner of your eyes, you saw your captain giving his amused smirk on his wrinkled cheek at your response, which made you blush a little.
Wanting to change the subject you added. "Can we go somewhere that is quiet?"  He hums and made a nod.
"Let's head back to my ship, I got nothing else to do,"   You smile and walk with him back down the dark street.   While you two walked, he places his arm around you for only being cautious.
You lean to him, feeling much safe in his arms.  And the scent he has on him that is mixed with rum and tobacco gives you a more relaxing feeling.  Enough you wanted to fall asleep right here.   You felt him almost chuckle which made you tiredly glance up.
"Ye tired lassie?"  You blushed with embarrassment when you see yourself clinging to him without realizing it.
"Y-yeah," You answered.  "Sorry, the tavern just made me exhausted  for some reason."  All of a sudden, before you took another breath,  he scoops you up in bridal style.   You wrapped your both arm around his neck for support and  swallowed when you came face to face at his fangs.
"It is faster if I carry ya back, so ye won't slow me down,"  He spoke lowly.   You look down fast, feeling your heart beating fast on how close your face was to his.     Too tired to reply, you just planted your face on his neck and whispered.
"Sure, whatever,"   As you let him carry you, you find yourself that the more step he takes, the more sleepy you are that have your eyes rested while holding on to him. Let the quietness and his scent be your lullaby the rest of the way back.

Not sure if this counts because the ask box says its closed, but if its open: can i request gender neutral reader giving tfp optimus a hose down in his alt mode in their backyard after he treks through some muddy terrain? And reader is doing things like spaying him with cold water to tease him, but the wash is like a massage, and he ends up dozing off as reader soaps him up and cleans his interior as well Their relationship can be already established Thanks!
TFP Optimus Prime X Reader – Car Wash
A/N – Here we go, getting through plenty of requests while I cat sit so I don’t binge-watch the Umbrella Academy all in one go.
Warnings – None.
Rating – T

Optimus vented air through his systems, holding back an exhausted sigh as he drove you home in his alt-mode.
Normally, missions where it was just the two of you were a treasured time spent full of deep conversations as the two of you imagined a better, more peaceful universe where you could both enjoy your lives with one another. It was always a chance for the two of you to spend some quality time together, instead of stealing precious seconds between Optimus’ busy schedule.
However, your mission transporting cargo to a military base for Fowler had gone badly awry and neither of you knew what to say that would make things better. The simple fact of the matter was that Optimus was thinking about the fragility of human life after you had been attacked by Silas, and you in turn were thinking about how Optimus had risked his life to save yours without hesitation. While Silas was only human, he was still a dangerous foe and had his weaponry not stalled at the exact moment it did, Optimus might not have survived to take you back home.
Your depressing thoughts were interrupted as Optimus parked outside your house, taking up the majority of the street in his large alt-mode.
“We are here,” He stated with a sense of finality that unnerved you somewhat.
“Yeah…” You replied, dissatisfied that he would have to leave you on such a sour note. “What will you do when you get back to base?”
“I will continue my mission to protect this planet, and I will conduct further research on Silas. We cannot afford another repeat of today,” Optimus answered solemnly.
You placed your hand on Optimus’ dashboard more for your own comfort than his. It seemed that he was going to spend the next few cycles relentlessly working as usual. You knew that Optimus’ dedication to his cause was the reason that the Autobot rebellion had lasted so long despite their numerous enemies, and while you were thankful that Optimus was such a fantastic leader, you still worried about him.
“Optimus… I know it’s a lot to ask, but I’d really like it if you stayed here for a while.”
“(Y/N), you know I have many important duties to fulfil.”
“I know,” You said quickly, hoping to placate him. “And I get that, but you need to rest as well. I worry about you. Please, just stay here and rest for a little bit.”
“But Silas-”
“Will still be around tomorrow,” You reasoned. “Besides, we have no means of tracking him yet.”
Optimus hummed thoughtfully, trying not to sound so defeated. You decided to give him a minute, just letting him feel the weight of his life; it was something he rarely let himself think about, and sometimes, he needed to remind himself that he was just one Cybertronian.
You Glanced in his wing mirror while you waited, unable to ignore the mass amount of mud, dirt, and gravel that coated him from the long drive. You half-smiled, getting an idea that might make Optimus relax for a short while.
“At least consider driving into the garden for a break,” You suggested. “A car wash here has got to be better than the wash-racks, right?”
Optimus considered your request, feeling somewhat guilty as he submitted. It wasn’t that he was doing anything wrong per se, but every second that he wasn’t working made him feel like he was failing his cause; Ratchet often told Optimus that was his fatal flaw, as if he too didn’t spend every nano-click working on his own projects for the war effort.
Optimus let you out, then drove into your garden, remaining in his alt-mode in case any of your neighbours came outside. He prayed to Primus that nobody would come to see what was going on because he didn’t know how you would explain your sudden acquisition of a Freightliner truck or why it was in your back garden.
While Optimus was stuck feeling guilty, you ran inside grabbing buckets and filling them with warm soapy water, with plenty of sponges and cloths to accompany them. Upon coming back outside and putting the buckets down, you grabbed the garden hose and started cleaning the worst of the mud from Optimus.
It took Optimus a while to relax, but after you accidentally soaked yourself with the hose and began laughing at your own misfortune, he allowed himself to enjoy the moment, your laughter raising his spirits.
Seeing you soaked and happy made Optimus chuckle, which by anyone else’s standard was a full-on laugh of hysteria.
“Oh, you find that funny?” You asked him, grinning. “Let’s see how you like it.”
You squeezed the end of the hose pipe, squirting a powerful jet of water at Optimus’ windscreen, grinning as you did so.
“All you’re doing is making me cleaner,” Optimus said jovially.
You rolled your eyes sarcastically, “Yeah well, I hope I miss some sand in your seams.”
With the ineffective water fight over, you got back to hosing down Optimus, waiting till the worst of the grime was removed before you abandoned the hose in favour of a bucket and sponge.
Optimus’ frame shuddered momentarily as you rubbed at him with the sponge. He was used to cleaning himself in the wash racks of the base, and while that did leave him pristine, it didn’t feel as good as having you clean him, your tiny hands reaching in between the seams of his plating. You were removing dirt from places he had never been able to reach before and it felt wonderful.
Optimus couldn’t help sighing as you cleaned his hood, using a step ladder to reach it. Once or twice, he nearly moaned aloud, though he caught himself at the last moment. You smiled contentedly, glad that Optimus was relaxing for once, even if you were messier than you had been in a long time thanks to the deep clean you were giving him.
“Is this good?” You asked him once you had thoroughly cleaned him and were free to massage wax onto his plating.
Optimus didn’t reply, your slow circular movements lulling him into a light recharge which he desperately needed.
“Optimus?” You asked uncertainly.
It took you a minute to realise what had happened, but when you did, you smiled, happy that he was finally relaxing. You continued cleaning Optimus, but when you were done, you were careful not to disturb him. It was rare to see Optimus resting and you didn’t want to do anything that might wake him.
“Good night, big guy. Sweet dreams,” You pressed a light kiss to his headlamps and left him in your garden.
You also needed a shower and some rest; it had been a long day for both of you.

Can you do a loki x stark reader, when they go to vomir for collecting the soul stone
Oh my gosh, I loved this idea!!  Actually, I’ve thought about this idea quite a bit.  I wrote it in 90 minutes, so please pardon any errors that are in this.  I’ll go back and edit it later!  I hope you enjoy it! <3
Warning: A lot of angst. A lot. Though that should be assumed when you read "Loki x stark reader" and "Vormir"
The wind rushed past you as you walked up the steep mountain with Loki on Vormir.  “I’m assuming this is where we’ll find the stone considering there’s nothing else on this planet,” You spoke, frustrated by the amount of climbing it involved.  Loki chuckled, placing a hand on your back to steady you once you had stumbled.
“Be careful, love.  We have plenty of time.  We can’t lose you now when we’re this close to bringing everyone back,” He smiled.
You let out a breathless laugh.  “You’re kidding, right?  You can’t lose me this late in the game.  We may not be able to bring Thanos back so he can see how he lost, but at least we can spite him in the afterlife.  That oversized grape deserves that much at least.”
Loki said nothing as the two of you finally made it to the top of the mountain.  It was colder up there, not as windy, but the air forced a chill down your spine.  Loki took notice of it, but said nothing, knowing you would play it off as usual.  If there was one thing you were good at, it was playing off anything as a joke even when it was serious.
When you both noticed the figure in the distance you prepared to fight.  Loki held up his hands defensively, getting ready to use magic.  You held up your gun, one that you designed with your father years ago, prepared to attack.  The figure slowly glided over to you.
“Y/N, daughter of Stark, Loki, son of Laufey,” You noticed Loki’s grimace.
“Who’s talking?” You asked, waiting impatiently for the figure to lift his cloak.  The man looked up, giving you a good look at his face.  Your eyes widened as you realized who it was.  “Red Skull?!  But people said you died!”
“You know this person?  Er, well, Red Skull?” Loki asked, looking at you.  You nodded.
“He worked with HYDRA during World War II.  When he tried to use one of the infinity stones he disappeared.  How are you here?” You demanded.
“The stone banished me here, leaving me to guide others to a treasure I cannot possess,” He spoke slowly, carefully.  It felt like he had said it many times in the past, to other wandering travelers who dared to take the stone.
“Right, right,” You said sarcastically.  “It’s probably for the best you’re here, where you can’t hurt anyone anymore.”
“You have spoken many truths in your lifetime, Stark, but that one is a lie.” He said, gliding towards the edge of the cliff.  You and Loki looked at each other, giving one another a worrying glance, before following Red Skull slowly.
“The Soul stone holds a special place.  It requires a very specific price to wield it, to understand its true power.  To acquire the soul stone, you must lose that which you love.  A soul for a soul.” He spoke, turning to look at you and Loki.
Your blood ran cold as you looked at Loki worryingly.  You could see the heartbreak in his eyes as he watched your reaction.  “Give us a minute, will you?” Loki asked, turning towards you completely.  “Y/N, this is our only chance,” He said, placing a hand on your waist.
“One person, to save trillions of lives.  In the grand scheme of things, one life is insignificant.” You said, thinking out loud.  Your eyes teared up, knowing this would be the last you’d see of Loki.
“Y/N,” He wrapped his arms around you, “Don’t do what I think you’re doing.  This is not goodbye.  Not for you.”
“What do you mean?  One of us is going to have to die for this, of course I’m saying goodbye,” You looked up at him, the tears blurring your vision slightly.
“Don’t you dare even try jumping off of that cliff, love.  You have a family to go back to.  You have every reason to be there when everyone is back.  You’ve done nothing wrong.”
“You have Thor, Loki.  Thor needs you.  He’s lost everyone he’s ever loved, his home.  I don’t want to think about what he would do without you.”
“My brother will be alright.  I need to make sure you’re alright too,” He watched tears fall down your cheek, embracing you quickly.  He placed a gentle kiss on top of your head.
“And you think I will be if you’re gone?” You asked, angrily.  You placed your hands on his shoulders, pushing him away slightly.  It was your perfect opportunity to place a shocker on him without him realizing it.  In case anything went wrong with your plan, you had to be ready.  Whatever it takes.
“Y/N, let me have this,” Loki begged.  “In the past 12 years, all I have ever caused is chaos, death, and destruction.  This is my chance to redeem myself of that.”
“You’ll have other chances when you’re alive and well.  C’mon, Loki,” You laughed lightly, “I’m a Stark.  This is the coolest way to go out.  Not even my dad could top this one.”
He smiled sadly at your poor attempt to lighten the mood. “Not this way,” He said.
“Loki, what’s the one thing you’ve never been able to successfully do with me?” You asked him, breaking from his hug completely.  This one would hurt.  It hadn’t even been a minute and you already missed his embrace.  You didn’t want it to be the final one.
“Stop you from doing what you wanted to do?” He guessed.
“Exactly that.”
“Well, unfortunately for you, I will do that this time.  You aren’t going off of that cliff.  I’ll make sure of that.”
You stayed silent for a minute, watching the cliff.  He saw the broken look in your eyes.  He knew that everyone claimed the eyes were the windows to someone’s soul, but now, now he truly understood what they meant.
You looked back at him, realizing he had been watching you that entire time.  “It’s now or never, Loki.”
Before he could respond, you leaned in and kissed him.  It was a kiss that expressed everything you felt about him.  It was filled with the love you had for him.
He couldn’t react, as you pulled away, activating the shocker on him.  Electricity ran through his body, keeping him practically paralyzed as you stepped away, ensuring he couldn’t grab you.
You smiled sadly as he watched you with betrayal in his eyes.  “Thor told me that you would fall for that again.  I’m sorry, Loki, but you have to bring the stone back to them.” You started walking backward, watching him fight the shocks, looking for where you had placed it on him.
“No!  Y/N!  Don’t you dare!” He yelled, desperately.  Tears began to run down his cheeks.  They weren’t out of physical pain though.  You could tell it was emotionally destroying him that you were doing this.  He would recover though.  He’d move on.
“I love you,” You said, before running and jumping off of the cliff.
~
The next thing Loki knew, he was sitting in a shallow body of water.  There was something heavy in his hands.  When he looked down at it, he noticed it was the stone, glowing brightly.  It was like it was mocking him, reminding him of what he was unable to do.
Loki smashed the stone down into the water, causing a large splash.  The stone continued to glow, radiating power.  He looked at the band around his wrist and looked further up his arms.  There was the shocker.  He pulled it off, rotating it in his fingers.
Looking back down at the band, he pressed the button, sending him back to Avengers Headquarters.
He saw everyone around him, smiling with joy at the fact that they could gather the stones.  It felt cruel.
Thor noticed Loki’s broken look first.  “Brother, what’s wrong?  Where’s Y/N?” He asked.  The others quieted down quickly, noticing her disappearance as well.
Loki continued to look down at the stone, ignoring everyone.  “Reindeer games?  Where’s my kid?” Tony asked, fear and anger present in his voice.
Loki walked off of the platform, placing the stone on a nearby table.
“She got the stone.”
But at what cost?

More writing asks...
Tumblr media
@dusky-dancing - Yes, and in a few cases it helped me get unstuck on a scene or chapter I was stuck on! It’s like my brain is always working on the problem in the background, and then voila it comes up with something and tells me. I’ve also realized potential plotholes this way as well that I was able to go back and fix.
For you: 2, 24, 27 :)
@heartoffantasyislife - I’m guessing you’re asking for Those Who Dreamed, right? (spoiler warning for anyone who hasn’t read it yet and wants to)
Well, it was like a bunch of separate ideas I had that came together into one whole.
Back around... early Fall 2016 I want to say it was, I was talking to a friend about our ideal SoKai endgame. We were theorizing about how the ending of KH3 might go, wondering if Sora might gain the power to control Kingdom Hearts. And then I thought BUT WHAT IF SORA CHOOSES TO GIVE UP ALL HIS POWER TO BE WITH HER. I got pretty excited about that idea and it stuck with me. It just really struck me as something he would do, you know?
Then I played 0.2 in January 2017 and got pretty excited about the thought of Kairi training and decided to explore that, especially since Kairi seemed a little reluctant at the prospect of training with Lea. I wanted to write about him truly turning over a new leaf and earning her trust enough that they became friends.
The prospect of Kairi fighting Vanitas also contributed to my eagerness to write the thing because I knew it was too good to pass up.
Around July I think it was I thought some more about the “Sora gaining the power of KH” theory and wrote my first take on it. It was originally just a oneshot, but I knew it could easily turn into something more.
Then I was writing the chapter of Dear Sora where Riku arrives on Radiant Garden and tells Sora and Kairi and Ven what happened with Aqua. My darn brain was like WHAT IF SHE RAN INTO TERRA AND HE’S STILL TERRANORT and I resigned myself to the fact that this fic that was originally a oneshot was about to get even longer than its 15 already planned chapters.
So I told my readers Dear Sora was wrapping up but that the story would continue, please wait as I write the rest of it, etc., etc. This was around August 2017. Then, I was like WELP now I have to figure out how to save Terra because let me tell you, he will probably be the most difficult person to save in KH3.
Well, I’d read didsomeonesayventus’s Soranort stuff before and liked the idea and that was in the back of my mind. I was on the train coming home after hanging out with some friends one evening when the means of Terra’s salvation hit me like a lightning bolt (like I said, my brain is always working on these things in the background).
Sora would trade places with him.
I knew I had to write about it. I just knew it. I got that super excited giddy feeling I get when I KNOW I’ve hit gold. So I took notes on my phone, jotting down as much as I could. I wrote the original version of Sora trading places with Terra soon afterwards, as well as Sora giving up his power to be with Kairi. The midpoint (at the time) and ending of the story.
Well, I knew how I wanted to end the story, and I knew what the cost of Terra’s salvation would be. I saw derekscorner’s theory about using data to bring back Roxas, Naminé, and Xion, and I incorporated that in as well. I toyed with having Sora make the deal with Xehanort at the beginning of the story and going back to go through with it, but in the end I had him do it all at once in Chapter 16 (15 on FFN).
Originally Sora was going to be rescued from Xehanort and then the x-Blade would have been created at the same time, but Sora was so traumatized that I knew I needed to rewrite things so that was more spaced out. Give him time to rest and heal, you know? I didn’t want to risk darkness-induced apathy for my readers, either. So that made the story longer.
My initial take on the recovery period was actually kind of dull, there wasn’t much happening. I knew I needed to add in more conflict, more plot. But the first draft of Those Who Dreamed was finished by around January 2018, and it was significantly shorter than the story is in its final form. I figured I had plenty of time to edit the later parts I wasn’t quite happy with though because I had such a good backlog built up already.
Well, I started posting in February 2018, and a reader wondered if the prologue was hinting at Eraqus coming back. And then inspiration struck once again. I figured out a way to include Eraqus and incorporate time travel in a way that hopefully wasn’t too confusing. There was the conflict that the “Sora needs to recover” part of the story was lacking.
Other ideas came to me along the way - Sora gaining full control of his Heartless form, Naminé's meltdown and use of her full powers, Sora seeing how Xehanort figured out Kairi was a Princess of Heart, even how Sora rescued his friends from the x-Blade (which is now one of my favorite chapters!) were all added in during the editing process.
I also had to cut some material out (like a Treasure Planet visit and a Camelot visit) because they just weren’t fitting. Really too bad but who knows, maybe I can use that material in the future.
But yeah, it was really a bunch of ideas all coming together into one whole little by little! I think having so much time to think about it definitely helped. So did having people to bounce my ideas off of.
Anyway, asks for you: 11, 25 43 :)
