Every time I see a boring/low effort cc collection drop I wanna complain about it even though it has no relevance to me or my life.

like give us ANYTHING...... Anything new, anything interesting, anything inventive. i literally have things that look exactly like all those pieces in my game. It's so boring? I know they want it to be as boring as possible so most people will like it and they can make the most $ but damn. Can we like get some creativity or something please????? Just a crumb???

The sheer lack of effort some of the most popular creators put into certain packs will never cease to amaze me, and they still make so much $ from it, that's truly the worst part. Its almost like a competition to see who can make the most money off making basic subpar EA mesh edits

lmao sorry to everyone in my inbox, this month has been a mess and I'm just not really around enough for it. someone in my immediate family got a new cancer diagnosis, my not-art job got restructured because management is a joke and it's been.... not great, to be honest! to top it off, my mom's cousin just died because the major hospital didn't have enough beds open for the provincial hospital to transfer him. etc etc etc.

anyway. it's been a lot and I'm Very Tired Of Things Happening 🙃

Eeeeee!! An absolutely lovely person sent me the headphones on my wishlist as a graduation present!

I’m so fucking jazzed! My ears are really sensitive, I absolutely can’t insert earbuds and most over ear types aren’t as nice. I’ve been using a cheaper over ear set that’s falling apart and makes my ears hurt with extended use. I got to try a friends bone conduction ones though and they were awesome but I couldn’t afford them.

Now I have my own pair and I giddily set them up this morning! They’re so comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. Let’s hear it for the bones!

Andrew turns back to his place and looks at the half-unpacked boxes and furniture. He dismissed it and made his way to the kitchen grabbing a frozen pizza and turning on his oven.

He has a quiet dinner by himself not bothering to unpack anything as he watches mindless reality TV before he goes up to his room. He rolls his eyes seeing his bed made.

He pulls back the covers his room filled with unpacked boxes and goes to sleep.

that call center job so far seems okay. the company and colleagues seem really nice, it seems to be a good environment. so far so good. i only have good vibes. but the fucking low salary!!! how am i supposed to get by working part time with that? (because i'll be going to school full time on the 30th, taking yet another school loan) i have no clue. it'll be really difficult. the hourly salary is about 45% of what i used to make working in vfx (after 8 years) so it's like. such a slap in the face and such a rough fall tbh. especially when up till june this year i was expecting to go back to the vfx industry after a couple months being unemployed.

anyway AT LEAST it's a job, it's better than nothing, i know. but still, it's very difficult to come to terms with this and realizing i will never have that salary again, or at least not anytime soon. i won't have the life i think i was gonna have. it'll take like another decade to have an okay salary like i used to have (just for 2 years in 2021-2023 tbh). it's really hard realizing i won't be able to like...put money aside for travel and a car/condo/house or things like that. i'll probably won't be able to get a dog like i've been dreaming of cause i can't afford to move somewhere where dogs are accepted. unless i find a sugar mommy or daddy i guess. i know it's the depression talking but it truly feels like life's not worth it right now and it's hard ro imagine it ever will.
