Yes, all my characters exist with deep themes and have actual stories to them–there are so many layers to their characters and how they act as people and what drives them and I want to show that..but also I made them hot for a reason soooo

Knowing in my head that Vashwood would never work out if they were in a sentimental relationship adds a fundamental layer of delusional in my own personal VW experience

the best way to end the day is my firefox completely crashing and not reloading when i restart my computer thus possibly needing to be uninstalled/reinstalled and losing all my settings/bookmarks/all my god damned fucking open tabs in the process (and chrome is refusing to sync while i'm trying to recover something) so like anyway THAT'S fun

i think ppl can and should project onto fictional characters. that's kind of what they're for a lot of the time. even if in the story they dont have the exact same experiences the audience can still find similarities with them and it's empowering to headcanon that, because of these similarities, the character has a similar identity to you. a lot of writers purposely give their characters experiences similar to marginalized groups to make those groups feel seen.

that being said, if you project your own experiences onto your blorbos you HAVE to be able to tell when the story is purposely making the character a metaphor for your experiences and when the story is. not doing that. just because you personally relate to a character doesn't mean the character literally is your marginalized identity. and it definitely doesn't mean that the writers hate your marginalized identity, specifically, if they don't do what you want them to do with that character.

the worst thing about being like "okay i'm just gonna write all day" is that soon it turns into wanting a perfect hidey hole for writing that is like. it's got an outlet and a bunch of pillows and is nice and comfy (read: i am squished but not so much it makes it hard to type and stuff) but i can also bring a drink and have a nice fan and it's like. or i could just sit on the chair which has a table for drink + a fan + an outlet. and then i get grumpy

#the perfect secret writing place is physically impossible to obtain methinks #well. hm #if i could have my chair be more comfy + squished... and if i could have a fan in there #and maybe some pillows. and the giant lizards... hm #i just have one problem and it's that the chair sticks out from under my bed so there's no easy makeshift curtain #gotta do weird shit

#hoshiko fujimura #noriko fujimura #bnha korkieverse #I’ve been calling it finding your flock but idk yet #noriko has health problems and is very much a little things in life person #they also aren’t a big hero stan like hoshiko #i also think that norikos feathers are single coloured in comparison to Hoshiko’s markings #though their body rejects their animal physiology #their appetite and such is generally not good and they’re not like Fumi and Hoshiko #fumi has instincts that he relies on though has the least bird traits #hoshiko doesn’t have instincts really and doesn’t find herself doing many bird things but can digest both human and bird food #and noriko who is literally just a young adult heteromorph #they can make bird sounds and such and have instincts but not as much as fumi #hawks- not bird heteromorph yet experiences strong instincts #methinks instincts are entirely dependant on the person #some folks get them and others don’t #it’s why Fumi is so insecure but Hoshiko is completely fine #though also difference in personality and growing up #my thoughts on these birds are complicated #bnha oc #bnha fanart #fumikage tokoyami
