Other than being a terrifying scene due to the sheer size of Doflamingo's head, it's also a puzzling scene since Law never gave his true name.

He only revealed he was a 'D' a few minutes before this line and he never mentioned Water. Did he tell Doflamingo his full name at some point off camera or did Doflamingo already know? OR was Law's secret name deemed so unimportant that Doflamingo was given the information for free in the shape of a plot hole? Is this scene in the manga?

Discuss! Explain! Tell me what is going on with the perspective of this scene! Giant freak flamingo man knows too much!

I was thinking about this scene in The Search, and something just occurred to me.

Why is Ozai asking how Ursa would know how to make a poison? And why is Ursa explaining that her mother was a master herbalist? Not just any herbalist, but a master herbalist?

Keep in mind, they've been married for a decade at this point. Wouldn’t this have come up in conversation sometime in the last ten years? Did these two never talk to each other?

It’s already been established that Ursa was spied on prior to her marriage to Ozai. Wouldn’t he know this critical piece of information? Wouldn’t he have used her skills to his advantage? Why is this only coming up now???

Wouldn’t it have been better to show this rather than tell the audience? Maybe include a scene of Ursa caring for her kids when they're sick by brewing them some tea?

Or, if you're leaning into the narrative that Ozai and Ursa had an abusive marriage, maybe show him bullying her into making a poison for him? Just a suggestion....

When I came across this post yesterday, I was surprised that op said they don't see people making art/moodboards/crafts/etc. for other people's fics anymore.

That and commenting on fics have been the main way I've interacted with fandom over the past like, 25 years, so I'd be curious to know what other people think in the tags.

For now, though:

We were deprived of seeing Mark Scout’s reaction to hearing his innie was in love with Helena Eagan. Did he just have a look of recognition because he had already been seeing things? Was he surprised in any way? Did he immediately not care because he doesn’t think his innie is a person?

One of the questions I have that was left unanswered... Is he wearing booty shorts, leg warmers, and socks? 3 pairs of tall socks? Socks and two bicycle shorts? Seriously, what's going on there.

And now this is ABSOLUTELY fascinating. 

We’re confirming what we saw in action in Lava Lamp’s backstory that was a little confusing at the time, but now is clearer - Evil Wolverine himself can grant wishes, or at the very least he can turn back time. And so, he can grant people’s wishes to turn back time. 

AND it looks like he can just PICK who pays a price for whatever he wants to do. Which we kind of already knew in practice but getting him state it outloud really hammers home the difference between him and people like Clow and Yuuko. Yuuko in particular was very careful about prices and balancing the wish/cost ratio in every situation, to keep both the universe and people’s individual lives running without unintended consequences. 

Evil Wolverine on the other hand is willing to do anything he wants and shove the price of his time reversals onto whoever is useful. 

It is antithetical to Yuuko’s morals and also not really how the universe works. Which might also be why he hangs out so far outside normal reality to begin with, to prevent things working back around and taking any price from him instead. Which may have also in turn contributed to the universe and logic itself falling apart. 

Either way it’s completely wild to see in action. 

All that aside he’s now going to just search the entire universe for any other reality where Yuuko is still alive and that in itself is also completely fascinating to me. 

He is desperate in a way that makes me think he won’t find what he’s looking for at all, but on the other hand like… could we get him to do a search for Clow Reed? I’d like to see the results of that most of all.
