I have a theory for Gladiator 2. I’ve watched the trailer a few times now and thinking about Paul’s character, Lucius, saying “this is how Rome treats its heroes”
I think Lucius hates anything that represents Rome and the general is the embodiment of it and maybe he has also a person vendetta against him (from the trailer it looks he has a love interest that dies, maybe the general kills her) and although we see some signs of regret and shame on Marcus, Lucius is full of anger and that’s why he asks for him as the representation of everything he hates to fight in the colosseum . I think they’re forced to fight each other’s and then Paul’s character somehow realizes that Marcus was not guilty of all that but rather another victim of this power system, but I think it’s too late and he has killed him or will be forced to kill him and that’s when he says that line on the trailer.
I really don’t think Pedro is making it out alive on this, guys. But I really hope that he does have a “light “ death scene I can’t take gruesome ones any more.
And another thing I don’t get why he says he doesn’t have a mother of doesn’t know where he was born, because Lucius was a kid, yes, but old enough to remember and even he says that he remembers what Maximus did 🤔

thinking about the sonic 2 premiere i went to alone, at like 3pm (it was def early afternoon but not sure when) with just like 5 other people in the room (moms with kids) and how everyone left before the credits ended and i was sitting there Gripping the fuck out of the seat in front of me after the whole movie and then seeing post creds shadow i yelled (quietly) (sorry to the staff guy coming in to clean) it was the best movie experience ive ever had cant believe its been almost 2 years now
also the very next day i went to see it again with a friend to show him what the fuck i just saw and also make sure what i saw was actually real and not a daydream

Happy birthday!!!!
We haven't talked much but you seem like a very kind and cool person from what I've seen and I'm glad we're mutuals <3
Aww, you’re too sweet, omg 😭❣️
I’m also super glad we’re mutuals, and you also seem like a very kind and cool person!!
I hope we get to talk more, because I’d love to interact with you more. That would be very fun, I think. You have great taste in shows from what I’ve seen. I haven’t gotten the chance to finish The Ghost and Molly McGee, but it’s so good. Definitely one of my favorites from recent years.

yes i love game over man, i think it is one of my favorite movies. it makes me laugh at times it probably shouldn't and makes me go oooooooh shit a lot, it is genuinely enjoyable and so funny and also pretty good at being dramatic. do i think i would love it as much as i do if it wasn't made by anders holm, blake anderson, adam devine and kyle newacheck? probably not but who cares

Okay so
I recently watched Phantom of the Opera (2004) and I wasn't extremely impressed. Like, it was fine I guess? But not great.
I've heard bits and parts of the music from the stage play and they seemed better than what I heard in the movie. The movie, while often visually spectacular, felt flat audio-wise. It seemed strange to me that the diva opera singer was mocked for her voice (people putting in ear plugs when she rehearsed) when she sounds like a good, classically trained opera singer to my amateur ears
Christine's (Emmy Rossum's) singing was good, much better than I could hope to do, but I felt like for all its sweetness, it lacked depth and power
Is this a poor production or am I missing something?
I could nitpick a dozen other things about this movie but what I'm really fishing for here is opinions and recommendations from the Phantom fandom. The Fantom? Do you have a preferred production? Can you point me to it? A soundtrack, a movie, a filmed stage performance?
People clearly love it so much and I'm trying to determine if that movie was underwhelming or if this musical is just not for me
Also the Phantom is a fucking dickhead wowie zowie
