OBVIOUSLY SHES A HORSE GIRL !!!! shes so southern to me and this reinforces that fact, she used to have a horse inher little southern ranch and they were her favourite, the horse was an american belgian draft becaudse i think they loook the coolest for her and she knlws so much aboit them because she loves them sososomuch ... pomni is listening very hard she is very interested and ragatha loves talking about them

The Jb Confession Scene from that post canon au is set on some field and there’s a slight rain … grass is still wet from the morning dew not gonna lie in my head it’s like 2005 pride and prejudice scene with Darcy walking through the fog except it’s jaime running through the mud in his pjs with the letter in his hand (like in persuasion!) and he looks so panicked and kind of afraid and I also have this idea that he has a slight limp post war bc his leg got damaged and I like the idea of brienne - despite being in her feelings rn - the moment she notices it’s jaime running after her she’s like oh .. then she notices he’s running and now starting to limp bc she knows his leg is now acting up she’s like oh!!!! makes the horse walk towards him so he doesn’t have to run any more further even though SHE’S the one who’s supposed to be running away. and the whole confession scene is like jaime asking her if he’s displeased her in anyway, or if he has offended, and she’s like no ofc not. he’s like then why are you leaving?? and tbh he’s BIG mad that she would just leave like that bc their relationship are worth more than saying an informal goodbye on paper!!! like hello that’s so rude!!! if u want to leave you have to say, and you have to leave through the front door and not sneak out the back end and in the route that he showed her btw. and there’s more to this dialogue btw but my pre sleep daydreams has NOT filled that in yet but I’m just imagining jaime starts to figure out why she’s so upset (she brings up the whole tourney for a lord lannister in kl and he’s gonna get married) and he’s like.. wait. WAIT. the math is mathing. brienne is upset bc she doesn’t like the idea of him marrying someone else = she’s JEALOUS…. now he can’t help it … he’s smiling and laughing at the thought bc it feels sauuurrr fucking good to know that the person you’ve been trying to get it on with hates the idea of you being with someone else and he’s like why are you so mad brienne (trying not to smile but FAILING) and she’s like well you’re just making fun of me now so I’m going to actually GO and he’s like noo you’re not allowed to leave until you tell me why you’re mad (now laughing and his dimples are showing so brienne gets more frustrated at the sight of them) then more stuff in between. I think. Anyway. In the end it’s jaime going like brienne - if you want me, you have to tell me. and you have to get off that horse (he’s been trying to make her get off that horse but she’s being stubborn) and tell me you want to be with me. and when she finally jumps off he kisses her immediately - way before she says she wants to be with him bc he’s impatient and the thought of brienne actually leaving scared him so bad

After two and a half months of riding in a new stable, I've come to the following conclusions:

I was not stupid or snobby searching for a better riding school. Horses that habitually buck people off, kick at each other, nip and bite and threaten to kick people are in fact, not an unavoidable thing you have to accept and endure in a riding school environment. Learning to ride on horses that are generally happy, chill and not overworked but are consistently taught boundaries is so, so much better, it legitimately feels like an easy mode.

Same thing with teachers. They don't make You a favor by being there, You don't have to put up with ridiculing, guilt-tripping and shouting.

It seems like no one has gave me the necessary technical advice before. When I was actually told how to do it, I can't believe sitting the trot is so easy. Pleasant, even. Fun. I'm angry that I've spent years bouncing around like an idiot because people act like you should instinctively know what to do by trial and error, and like hours in the saddle should alone fix the issue.

I've also for the first time had someone walk me through on what to do when a horse doesn't do what it's told and correct the timing of my cues, instead of expecting me to apply more force, like it's going to fix the problem.

My balance isn't shitty, actually, I was just tense all the time and gripped with my knees because I've ridden unpredictable horses, and falls were very common. The school of hard knocks doesn't always improve your riding technique, it can actively worsen it.

Anyway, here's to searching for what's right for you. Let nobody trick you into feeling guilty because of having standards. It can be better.

finished my horse ranch gp sims and yes they have unnecessary extensive lore that only matters to me

sullivan (sully) nakai: animal lover, green fiend, serious

jacquelyn (jack) loloma: loner, genius, overachiever

mackenzie (mack) loloma: daredevil

sully and jack were childhood friends and eventually fell in love as they became teens. unexpectedly, they became teen parents to mackenzie, and shortly after graduation they got married.

as the years passed a feeling of resentment grew within jack. she loved sully (and still does,) but she didn't want to become complacent in life and give up her dreams of going to law school. naturally, sully and jack grew apart; they wanted different things in life. she wanted to venture outside of her hometown and live in the city, and sully perfectly content tending to his late father's ranch with his brother.

so, they got divorced and jack left with mackenzie to live in san myshuno. sully is someone who doesn't regret anything in life, but sometimes he wishes that he had fought harder to keep mackenzie in his life. their relationship is quite strained now that mack is older and also due to the distance. with jack's busy schedule as a lawyer they don't go back to visit often, so they mostly communicate through the occasional video call when mack isn't too busy terrorizing her classmates at school.

now that mack's out of school for the summer, jacquelyn feels it would be best for her daughter to spend her summer vacation on the ranch with her dad. she'll get a chance to have some quality time with sully and bond with him and also learn some discipline (hopefully).
