I think trying to understand the nature of nakshatras helps in understanding what turns those natives on/what their kinks are. The yoni animal really helps in this regard. its imp to think of sex as a part of life and sexual nature as an extension of one's personality.

Day 2 of preparing for my Master's degree!

It's approximately 30 billion degrees here which I'm not a fan of but at least it gives me an excuse to study outside! Today, I worked on my application for a studentship (which I desperately want to get because the money would be transformative right now lol), and read a paper for a sociology class. It was on how discourses of gender and sexuality are used to create political enemies and in general, I agree with the concept, but I felt like the paper didn't go as in-depth about the post-colonial aspects of it as I'd like.

The book I'm reading in the first photo is "Don't Look Left" by Atef Abu Saif. It's his account of living in Gaza from October to December 2023. It's absolutely heartbreaking but a really important read if you want to understand the realities on the ground a bit better.

Pregnant with twins. Your absolutely massive and a couple days overdue. Your doctor told you it would be a good idea if you went walking to help get them out. You decide to give it a try and go to your favorite hiking trail cause it’s always empty. "hnnng shit I need to get back" I saif I leaned on a tree clutching my contracting belly, as I tried walking I felt my legs being spread apart, unable to be closed as my baby's head started pressing on my vulva.

At this point I realized that no matter what I couldn't make it back in time, my car was three hours away and this deep in the wilderness there was no cell service, I'd have to push my babies out right there.

I felt another contraction and pushed with it causing my lips to open up under my sundress "huuuuu mmmnn" I moaned as I felt a burning sensation slowly but steadily building up as my labias stretched.

The sound of the birds singing offered a little bit of calmness in this terrifying situation as moved towards a tree stump. I lifted my dress' skirt up as I sat on the log with my legs spread open exposing my soon to crown baby's head.

I pushed with the next contraction causing my first child's head to reach it's widest point, stretching my vulva beyond belief "haaaaa nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggh haaaaa" I breathed out as my lips burned, feeling like they would snap like an overstretched rubber band.

While I kept walking, the main dirt road now in sight, I felt my second kid's head slowly come out about halfway as my firstborn suckled on my milky breast. Then suddenly the head came out with a wet pop, unfortunately soaking my dress' skirt which I had managed to keep clean up until now.

As I went down the main dirt road I could feel the head dangling in-between my fat wet thighs, I knew I'd still need to push for my baby to come out when the next contraction would hit.

Upcoming Tiaras for 2023

Of course the biggest tiara event of the year will be the British coronation but there are also a trio of Scandinavian celebrations and a bunch of weddings to look forward to.

King Charles III of the United Kingdom's Coronation

King Charles III's coronation will take place on May 6th. There won't be as many tiara events as the last one in 1953 but the coronation itself should still give us plenty of tiaras. There will be the extended British Royal Family of course but there will also be many foreign royals attending. Usually (with a few exceptions like Queen Sālote Tupou III of Tonga) other monarchs do not attend so expect to see the heir or their spouse wearing the biggest and most historical tiara they have access to. I have a lot of posts planned for the lead up to the big day but I'm going to wait until we're a bit closer to start actually posting them.

Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan & Rajwa Al Saif's Wedding

Crown Prince Hussein and the future Crown Princess Rajwa will be married on June 1st. I expect a decent royal turn out more in line with Prince Hamzah and Princess Noor Asem's wedding in 2004 than any of the other more low key weddings in the family. I'm hoping she will wear the Arabic Scroll Tiara but the bride's family is apparently very wealthy so I wouldn't be surprised if they gifted her a new tiara.

Crown Prince Haakon & Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway's 50th Birthdays

Milestone birthdays in the Norway usually mean a gala event with foreign royals and tiaras but Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit sometimes do things a little differently. In July and August of 2013, their 40th birthdays were celebrated with a music festival at Skaugum where Haakon parachuted in, played with one of the bands, and they all slept in tents so who knows what we're going to see this time around. If they do have a gala event I think this would be the perfect opportunity for Crown Princess Mette Marit to debut Queen Maud's Diamond Tiara.

King Carl Gustav of Sweden's Golden Jubilee

King Carl Gustav is celebrating 50 years since he ascended the throne and there will be a lot of different events celebrating the jubilee throughout the year but the one we're expecting tiaras for is the gala dinner at Stockholm Palace on September 15th with foreign royals in attendance.

Prince Christian of Denmark's 18th Birthday

They haven't announced a date yet for the gala dinner celebrating Prince Christian's coming of age yet but his birthday is on October 15th so it should be around then. I'm especially excited for this event after seeing so many of the younger generation of royals turn out for Princess Ingrid Alexandra's birthday last year. The Danes go big for milestone birthdays so expect a lot of tiaras.

What would Bloodborne Weapons do to people in real life?

And, which one is the most brutal.

This is my 100th post. And I've been pondering this topic for a while so here goes. This is mostly just speculation. Also, while I won't be showing any gory images as examples, some of the injuries described could be disturbing. So be warned. First off, the Saw Cleaver/Saw Spear. These are pretty brutal when you think about how they are designed. The Serrated edges would get stuck in whatever you try to slash, dealing even more damage when you get it unstuck. In the trailer for Bloodborne, we actually see a hunter exerting quite a bit of force to pull it out of a Yharnamite they kill. Perhaps the purpose of the serration is to mangle the corpses of beasts, so nobody can recognise them as human?

The Hunter Axe Despite being an Axe, this weapon is described as mostly Blunt damage. When Transformed, this thing is definitely being swung with enough force to crush bones. And it's high rally potential points to huge amounts of blood being spilled.

Threaded Cane Untransformed it isn't much of a weapon, and the most you could do is just beat someone with it. But when you do transform it, the serrated whip is stated to be capable of flogging beasts.

Ludwig's Holy Blade/Kirkhammer/Holy Moonlight Sword. Untransformed, these are all just swords. Pretty basic slashes and stabs. But transformed they would all do a ton of crushing blunt damage. I imagine the Holy Blade would be more of a bone breaking thing, while the Kirkhammer would be straight up turning things into mush. For the Holy Moonlight Sword, I like to imagine the transformed mode actually cuts quite cleanly, leaving some moonlight glow along the wounds.

Blades of Mercy/Rakuyo These two are both 1000 cuts type of weapons, though the Rakuyo does a mix of stabbing and slashing compared to the Blades.

Amygdalan Arm. Untransformed would just be pure crushing force, the attack animation of repeated slams would be enough to turn a beast into mush. The transformed mode gaining that weird slashy appendage would probably make it less damaging to be honest, that thing does not look like it is swinging itself around with much force.

Beast Claw It's a claw. The claw gained by transforming probabably does a lot more ripping and tearing, while the fake claw seems to do a lot of piercing damage. But the fury of Beasthood probably encourages the hunter to keep attacking even after their prey is dead.

Beasthunter Saif Unlike the rest of the Old Hunter weapons, this one is probably less brutal than the modern Saw Cleaver. The sharp edge would sever a limb compared to the ripping serration of the Cleaver. Its quick flurry attacks in the unextended mode could also slice something open pretty easily.

Beast Cutter This one is, in my opinion, the most brutal weapon in all of Bloodborne. If you were to slash at someone with the transformed version, and their arm or leg were to be caught inbetween two segments as the come back together... that's gonna crush anything. And don't forget that it is also serrated in both modes, so the club can crush and rip apart at the same time while the whip can catch on fur or skin and tear it off. Also, the transformed heavy attacks are enough to flatten just about every enemy in the game, so this thing is being swung with insane amounts of force. Bloodletter A pretty sharp and spiky club even before you stab yourself with it. I'm not really sure what the extra Blood would be doing to its victims, but it makes it larger and more weighty.

Boomhammer This one could honestly be tied with the Beast Cutter. Hitting people with a giant hammer is already going to be dealing a lot of damage, but slamming them with an explosion as well is enough to obliterate them. Getting a hit with the explosion while something is up against a wall or the ground would reduce it to nothing.

Burial Blade This one is like the Saif, very clean with it's slashes and cuts. Along with the person who created it wishing to give victims a peaceful death I don't think it would be doing much besides decapitations.

Chikage It's a katana. It gets Blood magic. Probably just makes it slash harder. Not much else to say.

Kos Parasite Considering only the tentacle attacks and not the vomit and arcane explosion, I imagine it would be like getting stung by a jellyfish. If you weren't crushed by the tentacles, you would probably end up with a bunch of space diseases. Logarius' Wheel While all you actually do with it is crush people with the wheel, this weapon is actually based on a medival torture device. Perhaps the Executions strapped defeated Vilebloods to their weapons as they slaughtered the remaining ones. Reiterpallasch/Rifle Spear This one is a pretty elegant rapier. Lots of stabbing and not very brutal. The worst it could inflict is a point blank shot from the attached pistol. The Spear is about the same, but it has a shotgun attached instead and is desgined by crazy Hunters.

Simon's Bowblade The curved sword could cut something up pretty cleanly, similar to the Burial Blade. The bow shots would also inflict a lot less damage than a gunshot. Stake Driver The charged up stake blast could probably punch straight through your chest, but without that all you can really do is slash and poke.

Tonitrus Being beaten with a big metal ball would probably break bones if they swung hard enough. Adding in the electric damage would also hurt quite a lot, and would probably leave behind a lot of charred corpses and crushed skulls. Whirlygig Saw It's a buzzsaw. Being smashed into things while also spinning. This thing can and will tear shit apart. Untransformed its just a club.

I didn't go over any of the guns because... they're guns. But if you really care about the sidearms, the Cannons would blow you up, and the Fist of Gratia is just ye olde brass knuckles.

With a dressing gown for modesty, you raised your brows in surprise when Gustave stood there. “Hey, what's up?” You clutched the dressing closed in the middle while you leaned on the doorframe.

“Do you mind if I come in?” You stepped back and gestured for him to enter. “Apologies if I interrupted your shower.”

“I have finished anyway, now is there something you wanted to talk about or are you just here to endure my charming personality?” You smiled as he sat on the end of your bed, rather familiar with your room already.

“As much as I wish it was the latter, I wanted to check up on your back.”

“My back? What a strange pickup line. I’m glad you Olivier are getting on better but I’ve told him before half of his pickup lines don't translate right without knowledge of the French language.” The joke brought a curve to the side of his lips.

“No, I want to check for bruising. Why have you been discussing pickup lines with Olivier?”

His adam's apple bobbed as you turned around and slowly made your way towards him. “Tell me what I need to do, doctor.” You drew out the two syllables and slowly lowered yourself onto your knees. There was a shift on his face and he tilted his head slightly. His eyes gave you an intense look while he leaned forward slightly, his lips in a smile that could only be described as cunning.

Gustave's hand reached for you, brushing the back of his hand against your cheek. “Open and say 'ah'.” His voice was deep in lust and you did as he instructed. Your lips opened and your tongue poked out, the smallest of sounds left your lips; sounding more akin to a moan than ‘ah’. Just as he went to move his hand you pulled back a teasing smile on your face. “Do I get something sweet if I’m good?” He leaned closer at your words.

But nmj was already out of the circle of reincarnation with his present state, What could be worse? Trying the drag back his consciousness would only make it that it was not "necessary" to destroy nmj for being an uncontrollable fierce corps.

He knew it was possible. Wwx did it once with wn while sl still had his too.

"Send the missive to cloud recess" nhs simply said with certainty.

"Do you think he will accept to help?"

"Is everything alright?" Lsz asks a bit worried something might have happened.

"Yes, nothing for you to worry about" wwx smiled, the action looking a bit more forced than it should be. He rolled back the missive, putting it in his robe. "It seems I have some things to do now, you will sadly not have my great expertise to train with," he said, Making ljy eyes roll a bit. Lsz could only watch wwx walk away looking a bit troubled and unsure. He went to warn lwj about it, just so someone could keep an eye on wwx.

Yet, when lwj joined wwx back at the jingshi. But all he could catch was wwx destroying a roll with a fire talisman, frowning a bit as he bit his lip.

"Wei ying" he called out to.

Wwx was surprised a bit, turning with a smile on his lips now, ready to joke before he saw how worried lwj seemed to be. "Is something wrong in qinghe?" He asks.

After all, if sect leader nie needed important help he would most likely have asked the sect. Why asking wwx?

"Nothing too bad, nhs just need my help with something, so I'll be heading to the unclean realm for a while" he explain as he was putting some robes in a qianku bag. "Wei ying".

"I think you should be able to stay here, I might need to stay for a while" "wei ying"

Wwx finally stopped the flow of words when his husband grabbed his wrist, spinning him around to look at him.

He soften a bit, only now seeing how much lwj seemed to worry. It wasn't as if nhs wanted him gone either (at least he doesn't think he did anything to him to do that).

And honestly, he wasn't sure anymore how he had actually managed to bring back wn. His time on burial mounds was a bit muddy in his mind.

"Then let me come with you" lwj asked.

Wwx wanted to refuse saying it would be alright, but then he felt like lwj would either come join him if it ended up taking too much time or would just follow him.

He sighed again, thinking it over.

Maybe lwj could help too. Sure he wasn't doing any demonic cultivation, but he would probably still find ways to help him. Plus he could help wash away the effect that would surely stay from using demonic cultivation.

"Okay, you can come with me"

"Nie-zongzhu" wwx saluted when he finally joined the man, the SIC joining back his sect leader.

"Wei-gongzi," he saluted before his eyes travelled to behind wwx, "Hanguang-jun... gui jiangjun" he trailed a bit.

"Nie-zongzhu" politely replied the two men.

He was not surprised by the former presence, but had not necessarily expected for the latter to also be here. "I hope the travel was not too hard" he smiled.

"Everything went well" smiled wwx, before following nhs gaze behind him, "I hope it is not a bother to bring some help, They both insisted on coming along" he added. The missive never said to come alone, but he still made sure to bring as little as possible (ljy and lsz did want to come along too).

"No problem, it is understandable that wei-gongzi might need help" smiled back nhs. Of course, lwj had asked to come, he could also be of good help too. After all, it wasn't really good if wwx lost it again.

Wn asked to come after he (accidentally!) Overheard them talking about it. He had fought against nmj and wanted to make sure nothing would happen to wwx.

After all, lwj could just attack him with bichen and hurt the fierce corps if the whole point was to bring him back. He was there simply to be a more even match against him just in case.

(And: to add context, I started Inquisition first, so my first impressions of all three of them were from that game and not Origins for Cullen and Morrigan)

Cullen:

First impression: Ah. This must be the intended romance, the bland white guy everyone is into, the one the game expects you to romance. No thanks.

Impression now: I said something similar about Fenris, but like....I have thought about Cullen so much that I have no idea how to summarize my feelings lmao. He is deeply flawed and deeply hurt, but he is still trying to fix what he's done as best he's able.

Cullen was given every opportunity to take the easy road and pretend that he'd never done anything wrong; he could have taken off and chosen not to help Hawke at the end of the game, he could have chosen to join the Red Templars or stay out of the conflict entirely, he could easily have chosen to go through withdrawal in the comfort of his sister's home....and instead he chooses to be the Commander of the Inquisition.

I mean. I think playing the other two games has given me more scope for how much shit he's seen and done and that's still my conclusion: even after everything, he is still trying to be a better person and right his wrongs and I think that is deeply admirable.

(idk---maybe this is just me projecting as someone who often feels like a fuck-up, but I'll take a guy who still tries, over and over, to fix a mistake over someone who doubles down and pretends he was always in the right) (not referencing anyone specific, tbc)

Favorite moment: Anytime he falls all over himself and gets tongue-tied haha. I especially love the first kiss scene; I love that he admits that he wants something for himself, I love that after the interruption he just goes for it, I love the little mannerisms he has as a distraction from trying to find something do with his hands, and I love how fumbly he is. My second choice would probably be the scene where a romanced Inquisitor comes back to Skyhold after killing Corypheus and he bows first, then rushes to hug them. He's so relieved I just !!!

Idea for a story: *gestures to small mountain of wips* haha. But! I think my favorite one I haven't written is my No Exalted March AU/the arranged marriage AU, in which the Dalish largely dwell in a sovereign land encompassing the Dirthavaren/Halamshiral and Cullen is a marriage candidate to seal the compact between the Chantry and the Elvhen government. It's set about a year before the Conclave, so Cullen is still straddling the divide between being a Knight-Commander in Kirkwall and being the Commander we meet at the beginning of Inquisition.

(It's a really interesting fic, but it requires a bit more worldbuilding than I put in up front, so I am ~76k words in and like....ahh yes I need to actually describe what the capital city looks like. Shit. And here we are. But it's still a really cool fic idea.)

Unpopular opinion: I don't think what Cullen says during the Broken Circle quest should be marked up as proof that he's a horrible terrible person. I really can't imagine anyone being tortured psychologically and physically for weeks to months handling the stress better, tbh. I think it's awful and sad and not like, a kind thing to say, but again....he's a 19-year-old who just watched most everyone he knows be tortured to death so.

Favorite relationship: I mean, I feel like it's a given but Dorian and Cullen's friendship is really interesting to me. If I had a better handle on Dorian's voice, I'd definitely be exploring whatever led the two of them to have regular chess matches. Because ostensibly at least they don't have much in common.

Favorite headcanon: Oh man. I have so many. He and the other advisors are actually friends. He's bi (obviously). He's the shortest Rutherford. I saw art forever ago of baby Cullen fighting an inert Shale in the town square and that one lives close to my heart.

Morrigan

First impression: Holy shit she's hot, but that dress is awful. Why is the game acting like I should know her already?

Impression now: Loooooove her, it's a crime that I cannot romance her as a female Warden. She's a bitch, she's fantastically competent, she didn't really want a kid but she's a great mom, she is breaking a trauma cycle with her own mother, she's funny as fuck, she can turn into a variety of cool things, and also she's like really hot.

Favorite moment: The confrontation between her and Flemeth in the eluvian. I love that she's cast as this very mercenary, heartless character, but she chooses her kid over power pretty much without hesitation. I think it's a really beautiful moment.

Idea for a story: I have a half-written thing with her and Wen (my Tabris) bonding over animals c: Also, at some point I want to write them during Witch Hunt, because Wen adores Morrigan (she was her first friend, in many ways) and misses her horribly.

Unpopular opinion: The Dark Ritual is not a betrayal. Also...I really wish the writers had changed her dialogue in Mythal's temple if she's speaking to a Dalish elf. I understand that she represents an information source for the player, but it's a really frustrating conversation if you're playing a Lavellan.

Favorite relationship: Her and Kieran tbh. I wish there'd been more of them.

Favorite headcanon: Hmmm I like the idea of a romanced Warden raising their kid with her in the eluvians somewhere. I don't know if this is canon or not.

Also that she chose that dress during WEWH exclusively to piss Leliana off.

Vivienne

First impression: O.O wow...please...tell me she is romanceable

Impression now: I adore her. Again, I like that she can be very calculating. I also think her position on so many things (the Chantry, the Circles) is more nuanced than she's given credit for. Her personal quest breaks my heart every time and the scenes with her in Trespasser are delightful. I really, really enjoy traveling with her (oh my god, walking around with her, Dorian, and Solas is just....they are so mean to each other and I love it) and though I don't love the way she treats the other companions sometimes (specifically Cole) I think her characterization is very consistent and compelling. Honestly one of my favorite DA characters. Her intro scene is one of the best in the whole series.

Favorite moment: Her intro scene is so good, but also when she says goodbye to Bastien....ugh. it kills me every time. She has so much power and so many resources and she still couldn't save the person she loves most in the world.

Idea for a story: Hmm I've been thinking about doing a piece about her and the Inquisitor during Trespasser, because I really love a lot of her dialogue during the DLC. Also, she and Elowen have an interesting relationship and it's...mostly contained in a wip I'm not sure I'll finish T.T

Unpopular opinion: I think just liking her is an unpopular opinion lol. Or at least, that's how it seems.

Favorite relationship: Vivienne and Bull. Whaaaaat is going on there, guys???

Favorite headcanon: Hmm I can't think of anything specific right now, but I do believe that Bastien was the one person she could truly be herself with, without thinking about the benefits or angles. You know, to make his death hurt worse
