Do you think Amity(before meeting/befriending/crushing on Luz) was ever envious of Gus? Not like big time envy, but like, there was plenty of things that Gus did/could do that Amity couldn't/felt like she couldn't.

He's friends with Willow(her first and only real friend she ever had until Luz), he was naturally extremely gifted in his track(She had to work her whole life to become the top student in her grade vs him skipping grades and still being a prodigy) he's free and confident enough to openly like his interests(Gus's interest in the human realm is obvious to everyone even before Luz as he was the president to the HAS, while when Luz brought up how her and Amity could make a Good Witch Azura club together, Amity was insistent that it was a secrete club) and he has a good relationship with his dad(and we can assume he supports him)(While Amity's relationship with her parents is horrible until Alador starts stepping it up in S2)

I don't know... I just think about these two and what their one-on-one friendship could have been like a lot. Their such foils to each other, but I can't think of a scene in the show where they had a one-on-one conversation with each other.

general opinions: Where do I begin? Gus is perfect (end of essay 😂). I will admit he wasn't my favorite character from the show until about last October, after TTT aired, but he definitely is now. He's just so damn cool. Like, you have this 12/13 year old hanging out with people 1-3 years older than him and he not only holds his own but he's the coolest fucking 13 year old I've ever seen. He's so so smart and powerful, he's mature, and he is way way more than just the comic relief or whatever stale takes I've seen about Gus online. There's nothing wrong with being funny, and there's nothing wrong with using humor to cope with trauma. He's still a young kid going through puberty, and being stuck in the human realm (when it's been his dream to see the human realm) hits him the hardest out of everyone. But people take that scene and really infantilize him over it. He's a single child with a single dad, which makes him a lot like Luz in a way (and I bet they have some shared traumas they can absolutely bond over with losing a parent), but just because he's dependent on his dad and missing him does not make him a small, weak child. He's a kid, yeah, but he's a damn tough kid, and if you're sad, you can bet your ass he will be the first one to try and make you smile. If WAD doesn't have a gus-centric focus y'all will see me on the news! also only Gus would be able to train matty let's be real here LMAO but I love Gus so much and I think he's very relatable to us former-gifted kids, who always felt pressure to surpass everyone's expectations of our skills in school. He has an incredible support system in place with Willow and Hunter, I love their dynamic so much, he really deserves friends like them and Matt!! Because, while yes I do ship Gus with Matt, I hc that they build up such a strong and solid friendship first, which is how any great relationship should be :) Anyways yeah, Augustus Porter is awesome <3

This took forever, I’m so sorry!!! Also first had to figure out whose bachelor party it was going to be, but from there it was weirdly smooth sailing...? (Non-magical AU.)

“Nope,” the man replies, gazing at the sad sight in front of them.

They’d thrown Agustín a bachelor party—a “guys’ day out,” really, involving nothing more wild than a trip to a planetarium—and everything was going swimmingly until this moment: totally stumped in an escape room with the time running out, and Gus curled up in a ball, crying because he thinks it means he’s never going to see Julieta again.

I wept when I saw the love the Walz family has for one another. I was so happy for Gus Walz, and so envious, too, that he was raised by a man who taught him it's okay to feel strong emotions, to be overcome with joy, to publicly show how much you love your family.

These disgusting, weak, terrified little bullies who attacked him just beclowned themselves and showed the world how small they are.

As someone elsewhere said, in a world full of Kyle Rittenhouses, be a Gus Walz.

one thing about shawn spencer is he’s going to square up for the underdog. the lawyer in cloudy with a chance of murder. the bank robber in gus walks into a bank. lying ryan in truer lies. even lassiter in lassie did a bad bad thing. he will take one look at a pathetic little man and say “is anyone going to stand in front of him and protect him from evil and prove he is telling the truth despite the odds being against him?” and then not wait for an answer. you go girl, you project those self esteem issues like the king that you are 😔✊
