My Anya is a D&D NPC turned DMPC in the wild west campaign that I run!! She’s a fallen aasimar cleric/warlock :3 Lots of rambling incoming

🔺 does your oc know how to use any weapons?

Oh yes, absolutely. She was raised in a very militaristic society where the aasimar were trained as paladins and fighters and clerics to serve their god, Omen. She can use most weapons decently, but has a preference for polearms, especially glaives. Most recently she’s been wielding a magic scythe she got from the last dungeon the party conquered.

Anya uses she/her pronouns! She’s a trans woman and a lesbian, who presents more on the butch side.

😊 what are your oc's career/general life desires? what do they want to get the most out of life?

Right now? Help the party destroy the world’s two most powerful (and horrible) gods, Omen and Char’gothikon. Omen was once seen as the good god until Anya found out that Omen created Anya’s best friend (and PC played by @/haaawaiianshirt) as a sort of sacrificial lamb, the Divine Flame. Delilah was meant to be sacrificed to stop Omen’s rival, the evil god Char’gothikon, from rising to power. Unfortunately, Char’gothikon’s forces burned the city before this could happen, and Anya joined their ranks—where she was brainwashed and manipulated for the next decade. Char’gothikon is no good either, he wants chaos and destruction—but Anya was still a child when she was taken from her home by them. Side note, her leaving Omen is also why she became a fallen aasimar!!

Outside of that, she doesn’t have any future goals for herself yet. For the last ten years she was brainwashed to hunt down and kill Delilah and has only fairly recently been going against that. She’s kind of lost on what she’s supposed to do now. I imagine she’ll probably just become a traveling mercenary/healer for a while and then settle down somewhere isolated and start a little farm or something—if she survives the final confrontation with the gods.

i would like to note that my dear beloved Jaime (@/awkwardalphajay here on our very own hellsite<3 check em out <3) helped out a Ton by sending inspiration photos and providing insightful commentary on details and vibes!

overall i wanted Sally to have fancy vibes! while i was originally going to have her fit very much based on her canon one, i wound up veering off course and - while still keeping some elements - mostly went for Medieval Entertainer and Her House insp! continuing with the day/night theme, and leaning heavily into the fire aspect - she's a literal star fallen to earth, after all!

it was suggested that she should have dragonscale used in the making of her clothes since she's, you know, kind of made of fire! and it was genius! I imagine she has extra fire charms on this fit and also the rest of her clothes, since dragonscale is hard to come by and is a finite resource once Gathered. she gets better at Not burning everything she wears over time, thankfully!

i think that, like Frank, she'd have One (1) Dagger. for emergencies! it's likely very ornate, and she'd hate to scuff up the gleaming blade. Probably. plus, why would she need it? she's got firepower, babey!

there isn't quite as much to say about this as usual... mostly because this one was more Vibes than strategic "ok this and this and this because this and also-" i was just! makin a fun outfit!

last scene of the bikeriders is absolutely fascinating me rn bc

it became even more clear to me on second watch that kathy is not necessarily a reliable narrator all of the time because she states outright, in the 1973 interview, that benny has no feelings and never ever cries, not ever. and then you see it happen when he comes home in 71; you see him sobbing in her arms after johnny dies, and she just doesn't tell danny. you could say she's protective of benny's pride, and i think that may be true, but she had no problem being honest about every other part of her relationship with him. i mean god bless the woman, i think she's still jealous of johnny even after he's gone. she's so possessive of benny that even after johnny dies, she still won't admit to anyone, including herself, that benny loved him back, that johnny's death brought him home, that losing johnny made him weep like he'd lost a spouse (which recalls to mind kathy speaking about only seeing her father cry twice, once when his wife nearly died), that he completely quit riding after that, the one thing it had always been clear that he loved doing, and never looked back.
