EASY TO LOVE | chapter four !

Nicholas gave all of you five tickets each to invite whoever you wanted. And of course you had to invite Jungwon, but you doubted that he would’ve accepted without giving one to his friends too. You gave the remaining two to a couple of guys you know, not really thinking too much about it.

Honestly, you kind of hoped for Jungwon to dm you and ask for those tickets directly, but he never did and the party was in less than two days, so you gotta do what you gotta do.

Once its time for lunch, you’re sitting with your friends, checking your phone annoyed. Jungwon is still nowhere to be seen, and its starting to annoy you. “What’s with that face, princess?” You raise your head to look at Nicholas, who was eating nonchalantly.

“Oh she’s just nervous because her toy hasn’t given her any attention the last days” you roll your eyes annoyed at Moka’s comment, she’s right but she has no business saying it out loud. “I’m the one who’s supposed to be ignoring him, not the other way around.”

you sigh as you play with your food, too annoyed to even look up, never in your life has anyone ever dared to ignore you. You feel Sunghoon’s hand rest on your thigh, and for a second you think its just him being a really good friend, but when you raise your head you notice where he is looking.

He’s looking at Jungwon, who’s happily joking and talking with a girl. You’ve seen her somewhere, but for the life of you you cant remember her name. you scoff and immediately get up, not even caring about saying something to your friends. They know not to say anything when you’re not in the mood.

You reach Jungwon’s table, a fake smile on your face as you put your hands on the table calmly. “You haven’t texted me.” you say, without even greeting the table. Riki who was sitting right in front of Jungwon, seemed to get paler at your cold tone of voice.

Jungwon turns to look at you, interrupting the girl next to him. His eyebrows are furrowed, making him look even more attractive than he already is. “Was i supposed to?” You let out a sarcastic chuckle, your eyes falling on the girl next to him, sure she’s pretty. But not as pretty as you.

“You’ve been here for a week have you learned nothing?” Jungwon gets up, his tall figure and his broad shoulders making you feel so tiny against him, still, you dont let that intimidate you. “Are you going to make a scene?” You cant tell if you love or hate this part of him. The annoyed, feisty and rebel one. One thing’s sure, he’s hot as hell when mad. “I’m telling you how things work here,”

“Besides, i got a gift for you and your friends.” Jungwon raises his eyebrows, probably not expecting something like that from you. You take out the vip tickets from your bag, of course there’s only three of them. You didnt know he had another friend, and even if you did, you wouldn’t have given her one.

“Thank you, Y/N… but-” you laugh sarcastically before he can say something else, already not liking that ‘but.’ “You, Jake and Riki,” You look at the other girl, who doesnt seem too surprised about your scene, but definitely disappointed. You notice her bag, its an old valentino bag, and by old you definitely dont mean vintage. “There’s no space for bags two seasons behind.”

can we talk about how much queer and trans joy was this season? maggie and nina. they/them muriel, saraquel, beelzebub, even GOD. "you're a good lad" "im not actually, either". that one shopkeeper and his non binary spouse, played by a non binary actor. beelzebub and gabriel. shax, nina and maggie all thinking azi and crowley were together. also yes i'm gonna mention: crowley and aziraphale's kiss. it's just, i get that everyone's hurt and so am i but can we please focus on how beautiful this season was to us? we got so much and i'm so happy, despite the ending.

Ellie, during one of her stints of what do I do with my life right now, decides to, with the help of her Original Dad-Person (Look he’s aging and she’s not and it gets less questions the older he gets if he says daughter instead of sister with how the Fentons are getting older too) creates a Boo-Tube channel. No, not a Youtube channel, those are stuck to a single dimension.

Bootube on the other hand? Due to being through the Realms (and wow is Tucker getting so much income from creating it) is interdimensional. Which is so cool honestly. And she doesn’t know what to do at first, and honestly there’s already so many travel blogs that she kind of just… decided to do something that she wished someone had done for her and her brothers and Danny when she was new to the world. 

So she creates the channel CAAW: Clone Awareness, Accommodations, and Welfare. They had to learn things through trial and error, but maybe she can help someone out there learn how to find their own selves, or even help someone not melt.

I think the craziest thing about TTPD as an album is that I think a lot more people would like it if they actually just sat and listened and applied to it their own lives and didn’t just focus on the muses. Like. It’s so obvious she doesn’t want us to just focus on the muses. The manuscript even said the story isn’t mine anymore, this story is over and she’s moved on and it’s ours now and we’ll find new and different meanings in it. And I think writing the whole album off as ‘her worst album and it’s all about her obsession with 1 man’ just does the album such a disservice even if it’s not their kind of album.

i think after you fall asleep in satoru’s arms at nights he stays awake for a while, just to hold you consciously and watch you sleep, brush the hair off your face and softly kiss you on the forehead, whisper a very quiet “thank you for loving me” while he looks at you, eyes welled up. he’s so happy, he’s never imagined anyone would ever want a future with him. but here you are, proving him wrong — giving him your bed, your warmth, your heart, your all 🤍

buffy knows spike loves her during season five. buffy knows spike loves her when she comes back and seeks comfort/silence in his presence. and as she comes back to herself and tries to make peace with the fact that she’s Here Again, she still knows he loves her. and i think part of the Big Bad Grabbing The Slayer For The Darkness routine they both cling to is that it allows them to pretend this huge thing isn’t between them so they can get what they both want (someone to stay).

and like obviously buffy cannot allow herself to believe that he loves her for many reasons, but she DOES believe it, she can’t make herself unknow it even though she tries so hard. which is partially where the breakdown with tara in 6.13 comes from because the cognitive dissonance of soulless spike loving her as if he has a soul while she is so lost within herself that the only way she can reach for him is to use him (which would be fine if he was the big bad grabbing the slayer for the darkness) which is hurting him! unfathomably! but he’s supposed to be the corruption! how can he??? any of it???

meanwhile spike has watched the woman he loves be brought back as a shell and he wants to see the light in her eyes and he can touch her now and sometimes that’s enough to make her laugh but he can’t linger in those moments or she’ll go away again! so he can play the role he needs to play so she’ll stay, as if he could keep her anywhere she didn’t want to be. as if he wants her to be in the dark instead of bringing him into the light. but how could he ask for anything more when he already got her back and he didn’t even need to kill her afterwards.

and so they hurt each other and he forgets himself and asks her if she even likes him and it’s too honest and he’s asking too much (he asks for nothing) so before she can throw her life away like it’s nothing, he puts the game face on, makes himself a target, and swallows it all. and she can’t unknow. and it would all be fine except he’s a vampire and she’s the slayer and how can he just say it like it’s nothing when she needs to beat his face in just to keep from screaming.
