sorry gotta be real here but rina was ADORABLE this season. i never really liked rina before but this season changed my opinions, like now i fully believe that they are good for each other and they clearly make each other happy.

despite this i’m still a portwell ofc bc they were so cute as well, i’m just a multishipper now bc rina & portwell <33 (which means i’ll be posting abt both of these ships)

thought i’d share some of my fav rina moments this season too:

1. rain kiss - THIS. SCENE. this was the scene where i started shipping rina but oh this was a cinematic masterpiece. ricky abt to give up & calling ej? gina running after him as he’s about to leave? the way ricky dropped the chocolates when she was about to kiss him!!! then there was the kiss and then THE SPIN HUG AFTERWARDS 😭 and the cherry on top was the second chance instrumental in the background (i freaked out when i heard it) also their chemistry is THROUGH THE ROOF.

2. maybe this time - i have this song on repeat i love it sm it’s SO GOOD the vocals, the lyrics, it’s so catchy. my fav line is “don’t look back just pull me closer, hands upon this rollercoaster” the harmony on rollercoaster was so pretty. flashbacks shocked me as well 😭

3. ricky’s part in gina’s speech - this speech as a whole destroyed me i must say. anyways the way she’s fully sobbing first of all breaks me. the quote “but with you, i feel so seen and so understood and so known” i’m not crying you are 😭😭😭 ALSO she used a polysyndeton! that’s how you know she means it!

honourable mentions to: the flashback in ep6 bc it’s the way that one small interaction changed each other’s lives and for the better, the ily scene especially the fact that the ily too was embroidered in the hat & that little moment at the end of born to be brave when they kiss each other’s cheeks idk it’s so cute 😭

doodle of a fukaflower idea i had that basically goes as following:

Fukase, a summoner, is encountered by Flower, a demon lord known as "Flower the Vengeful" who likes disguising as a warlock, during one of his attempts at casting a summoning spell. she finds his failures and thinly-veiled excuses amusing, and offers to give him some tips and locations of summoning artifacts that are easy enough for him (Fukase is very offended, even if he's thankful).

additional Fukase facts:

- Fukase's burn was an accident involving a baby dragon and Miki's curry; he won't elaborate further than this.

- his left eye is from an imp (a merchant scammed him, telling him that it was a dragon's), which allows him to see the heat signature of living beings.

- Point is his familiar and the first summoning he ever did. Fukase doesn't know what the little critter is, and is the only one who can understand Point's gibberish speech (Flower speculates that it's some sort of celestial being, but isn't sure).

additional Flower facts:

- Flower has dragon blood, which is why she has a horn.

- the Meikas, forest nymphs born from a plum tree in Flower's backyard, are Flower's younger sisters.

- she gained her epithet and title of demon lord in the same day; the day Miku, a witch and her past lover, died.

- she evades questions about the identity of the deity she serves while posing as a warlock, claiming that her goddess prefers anonymity out of humility (she's actually talking about Miku).

About the loss of the Mandate of Heaven, per Nopes’s book about the Dagdan failed invasion, a survivor says this :

Now that the tide has turned, they've thrown in with Dagda again. Savage islanders. Their king never intended to honor our agreement for a second. We never should have... 

Brigid backstabbed them and sided with Dagda instead, but as early as 731, the Adrestian answer to this was to call the people of Brigid “savages”, not bastards or turncoats, nope, just “savage islanders”.

The Dagdans are truly fearsome. They dance in the air and set fire to the sea. One moment they frolic in the woods, the next you see their fangs. Just what are they... 

I know this is most likely narration, since the y writer compared fire on the sea to “a great snake”, but imo it’s still telling something, Dagdans “dance” and “frolic” and have “fangs”, Brigid people are “savages”...

450 years later, Adrestians will still see Petra as an “animal”, meaning they kept those, uh, biases for a looong time.

And given how this, calling people “savages” or with “fangs” happened in 731, ergo before Loog did his thing (20 years before Faerghus is born!), I’m more and more convinced Northerners being torn apart in the Feast of Decadence  might have been common at the time it was written thus it’s just a “common background” the author in this novel depicted, like people playing music or having court jesters...

Over the past few days, I've come to learn that apparently quite a few people ship Hal (Green Lantern) and Bruce together. Also found that pretty sure I'm dyslexic, cause every time I see Hal, for whatever reason, I always seem to read it as Harv, as in Harvey Dent or 2 face (and don't get me started on trying to read Harvey from Harley), and so every time I'm like 'oh... they ship 2 face and Bruce. Cool I guess. I mean, they were best friends. And I mean, like, I've played Batman: The Telltale Series on PlayStation too, I could see it, so go off I guess' and then I always come to the devastating realization that they said Hal and I'm just sitting here like 'what about Harvey, Bruce? You monster, you traitor' when like, it's not even related; I have never even seen HarveyXBruce media before. But now I have the sudden urge to consume 2 face media whenever I see HalXBruce stuff, so that's fun
