moved one of the bark pieces from the pied enclosure to the powders' and I'm really scared I didn't get all of them off of it, there's little crevices that they're very good at hiding in

#mine #isoposting #I think I got all but one out #but perhaps that one got shaken off too #I really couldn't find it anymore #well I guess it's not an issue #if I see it in the wrong enclosure I'll try my best to capture it and return it to its friends #I just wanted that wood moved so badly #bc the pieds have a much lower enclosure #and it's kinda a tall piece of wood that takes up too much space #and it was getting moldy but had no space to stay out of the wet side #they still have another piece of wood there but now it's more balanced #and I think my powders will enjoy a large piece to congregate under #they have a few miniature scraps but no large one #I still haven't caught all the powders 😔#there's a few small ones I see still crawling around #and I KNOW there's 1-2 crumbles still in there #I have less of them than I thought though #I think I've caught around 20 #and there doesn't seem to be that many more left to catch #I probably have like 30-40 total at best #despite all those babies #then again I don't think I've caught many babies... and it does take months for those to grow #I've only had these since August?... October???#I started with 25 and I lost most of my crumbles. so let's say 15 #and I know at least 3 died from climbing up the tank #so I suppose having 20~ now is reasonable given that I sorta started more with like. 10

When I joined Tumblr in 2020, I was mainly making Peaky Blinders gifs, so I chose those. I had no idea what I was doing at the time with coloring, sizing... etc., and sometimes I still don't today!

NOT FOR YOU: character study.#the concept of having a complicated relationship with one's sibling.#because ryuuji was the second born and thus the responsibility of taking care of him was given to misao most of the time she found herself-#being jealous of him sometimes. and misao felt very guilty because of this but she just wanted to be a kid for a moment. so sometimes she-#would imagine that she was ryu instead of herself and their roles were reversed because misao would just get so overwhelmed with things-#that this was the only way she could cope with it at times. which is sad in every sense of the word but misao knew that it wasn't ryu's-#fault at all that thing's were this way. it wasn't anyone's fault really but it was so much easier to place the blame on him subconsciously #sometimes because the alternative was blaming herself for not being strong enough to be both a caretaker and a child at the same time.#and that was perhaps even harder for her to think about because misao has always strived to be perfect. and i mean this in everything-#she does. she wants to be the 'perfect psychotherapist' the 'perfect lover' the 'perfect friend' and it is a LOT of pressure to be honest-#to be putting on yourself especially when you are not fully equipped to open yourself up to people about how you are struggling because-#you've dealt with things on your own all your life. but yeah. misao might've felt resentment towards ryuuji even though it was misplaced-#though she also felt a great deal of platonic love towards him and even if the whole world were against him then she'd still be on his side #but misao has been out of contact with him for the longest time and doesn't even know if he is alive anymore. and she is kind of scared-#to inquire someone to find out for her like a private investigator or something. because i think misao would not be able to take both her-#mom and her half-brother dying because at the end of the day ryuuji is her last remaining family member. and he understood her-#in ways that even she couldn't understand herself.

I'm already starting to regret that I joined yet another Discord server.

#personal #i'm trying to learn about game modding and while there are several channels dedicated to different areas of modding #the resources are scattered are all over the place #and there's so much discussion in between those resources/posts that it takes a long time to find anything #i searched one keyword because i couldn't find a pinned post about it and there were 47 pages of results for that keyword alone #yeah i'm not gonna go through all that #i'm surprised anyone who joined there recently can learn anything #unless they have a lot of time and patience or something #it literally took me hours last night because i didn't know shit xD and trying to navigate that place is like #trying to find a needle in the haystack. plus some of the creators there are so rude to anyone who's just as confused about stuff as i am #and some of the 'newbie' tutorials they put up there are literally not that great for beginners #unless they already have good basic information about how to use blender or ue4 or other stuff #it's a fucking chaos honestly #this is why i don't really use discord anymore #i get disoriented and overwhelmed when there's too much stuff at once and it's not even well-organized or well-explained #putting up an archive for resources and tutorials would be great. or at least locking up certain servers so they wouldn't be #clogged up with discussion would be great too #but i guess it's just me then

I imagine Ky's the kind of dude where after he has kids of his own, he starts adopting any other random young person/kid that hangs out with his own kids. Like the neighborhood dad that's got an insane income and doesn't really know what to do with it so he just feeds whoever shows up at the dinner table in the evening

It was nice #Anyway a major part of Ky's character is that he wants to make the world better for everyone and also he had a rough childhood #So this feels like something he'd also do because 1. It's within his means 2. He knows how much it sucks not being able to afford a meal #Sin's like a human (...) golden retriever. I bet he befriends basically anyone that doesn't tell him to buzz off haha #And even then he probably still tries #God Sin is so good. Love that guy

I was worried karlach would die! since corydalis is with astarion & wyll broke his pact.#nope! so long as wyll is the blade of avernus- it seems he will offer to join karlach!#I was even given the option for corydalis to go with them- even tho he's not in a relationship with either of them.#not sure if that's a bug or a feature though.#wish you could give everyone hugs :( I've seen people say you can hug wyll but I couldn't get it to happen.#it was SO nice seeing all of them SO happy though.#I don't ever really feel happy at all anymore. but to see them healing & finding purpose in life again?#well it brought a genuine smile to my face.#they're all such wonderful characters. I really do love them all so dearly.#thank you larian for a game that was truly deserving of every dollar I spent on it.

No Stonathan Sunday today. I got some really sad news and I can't write anymore today.

#i'll put it down here in the tags in case people wonder #faith talks #death mention #animal death #is that enough to do an expand?#i think so #basically one of my family's dogs passed today #and she was the momma to my personal dog and had been with the family for nine years #was probably ten or eleven (our last rescue dog before my mom couldn't do rescues anymore)#and i'm really worried cause the other family dog my parents still have was her seeing-eye dog because she was mostly blind #and now charlie can't find her and has been crying and looking for her #and i'm so worried about him #shit i don't even want to think about yoyo's reaction when we go home for Christmas and there is only charlie #yeah i may be more offline today than usual #we'll see how distracted i need to be
