I’m just now realizing how much of a missed opportunity it was that TWDG Season 2 had the big decision on who Clem goes with be between Jane and Kenny when the decision clearly should’ve been between Luke and Kenny
Luke is one of the characters you interact with the most in season two and he’s one of those characters that tried to look out for Clementine to the best of their abilities. Kenny is also like this but the two of them have pretty conflicting personalities and had their share of unkind words exchanged with one another
Replaying all the games really made me realize that Jane was never the smart choice, she cares for Clementine and gives her tips on how to survive but honestly her care for her doesn’t really compare with Kenny OR Luke. Jane kills her self a while after the fight with Kenny and leaves Clementine to raise a baby by herself at with some kinda ‘I want you to prepared’ nonsense before she dips
Kenny on the other hand takes care of Clem for as long as he can and at the end of the day sacrifices himself for both Clementine and Alvin Jr’s survival. He’s clearly the better option.
Putting Luke in Janes position at the end of the game would force the player to remake a decision they already made
This would’ve been great foreshadowing
THIS WAS SO OBVIOUS AND ITS SO AGGRAVATING THAT NO ONE THOUGHT TO BE LIKE ‘wait a minute’
IT ALSO WOULDNT BE HARD TO HAVE A SITUATION WHERE LUKE AND KENNY WOULD BRAWL they already argued frequently and yeah the hiding Alvin Jr in the freezing cold thing would have to change but that was kinda ignorant anyways and again it only made Jane look worse
I’m a Luke apologist justice for Luke

As someone who was in a long distance relationship for a few years throughout university, I think I need to start turning my brain off when ‘going away to study’ results in stopping ALL COMMUNICATION for no good reason in a BL!!
Why does this amicable conversation then result in zero contact for 5 years?! You two were the good communication couple remember! 😂🤦♀️
Guys, you could have still phoned, text and remained friends while you were apart. You didn’t need to be this dramatic and go cold turkey on each other for half a decade!! 😂😂
Jane & Ryan not getting together properly until a few years down the line when they were both in the same place to commit to the relationship is fine, but the ‘no communication whilst separated’ trope?? Nope, I will never get it! 🤷♀️

something I see a lot, and feel like I have to remind myself regularly not to fall into the trap of:
It’s easy to relate to a character. It’s easy to see yourself in them, to see them as Like You. There’s power in that.
But I’ve met several people now who’ve gotten really angry and upset with me for not liking their fave, or for having a very different interpretation of the character than they do. People who relate so hard to a character, project so hard onto a character, that me not liking them, me acknowledging that the character is a villain, or me just having a different interpretation of that character’s relationships and motives, feels like an attack on them as a person—and they respond to me as such.
I’ve seen it happen enough that I try to consciously remind myself. Other’s people’s interpretations of a character are not an attack on me. I know who I am and that will not change if other people are wrong about have a different perspective on my favorite character.

Art of the Queens, paintings done by me :), they’re not cool like digital art and I did post one of them on one of my other blogs (@aspenstarflare ) but I thought I’d share them here too! (Note I crossed out my last initial for privacy purposes)
As one might tell I might be a Katherine Howard fanboy 🩷🩷🩷
